I had dinner at Brothers Restaurant in Munich on business. The ambience was pleasant. The gourmet menu was OK but not outstanding. In addition, the service staff's intelligibility was limited due to unclear pronunciation.

Visited Jan twice. Never disappointed. One of the best restaurants in Munich. Mind blowing menu. Dont miss this place if you are a real food lover. Traditional foods, very efficient staff, modern ambient. You can go for lunch or dinner, absolutely worth it!

The two of us ate here in the summer and it was really incredibly good! Service from Halim was very attentive and super warm. Food was a pleasure from start to finish. Simply top class, sometimes far better than “normal” 1-2 star restaurants. Price performance absolutely reasonable! Thank you very much 👍

Exclusive gourmet restaurant in Munich. Almost impossible to beat in terms of elegant presentation, good service and fantastic menu. Be sure to reserve in advance and look forward to the menu in advance, because it is absolutely fantastic.

Basically a very great experience with fantastic food. However, there is a deduction when it comes to food because they forgot about my allergies, served our main course an hour after the previous course and then didn't even offer us a digestif, dessert or you name it as an apology. Unfortunately, that was a bit disappointing, as you would expect a little more at almost €1200 for two people. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and the food, as I said, lived up to expectations. The blue vanilla dessert was really outstanding.

Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was very inconveniently placed and shone heavily into my face. The volume in the restaurant is also a lot louder than in other high-quality restaurants. The food was good and nicely prepared.

Excellent newly minted 1 star restaurant in Munich. Great food, great wine and very good service. One of the waiters made a great impression on us, he was very attentive and sweet.

Of course, people can have different opinions about the decor of the restaurant. I, for one, would have expected white tablecloths and traditionally set tables. Instead, the tables are as bare and cold as in a fast food restaurant, so that despite the somewhat old-fashioned crane wallpaper, you didn't get the feeling of sitting in a very good restaurant. The ventilation of the room was good, but it was very cool, which was not changed even at our request. Blessed is the one who wore a jacket and vest. The 16-course meal was very good and worth the money. They were all beautiful little culinary works of art with excellent taste. The food wasn't too much; you could definitely have used a little cheese at the end. The head chef didn't show herself. The staff was attentive, friendly and professional. What wasn't convincing was the “Sommeliers Special Wine Accompaniment” (7 wines for €245). They may have been expensive wines, but in terms of taste, only two of them were such that you wanted to drink them. The sommelier poured two different red wines into the same glass. I didn't know anything like that before. A digestif was not offered at the end; It was obvious that people wanted to call it a day. Conclusion: I don't regret visiting the "Alois", but I only found the price-performance ratio to be partially good and I won't go there again.

The restaurant is attached to the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art and that partially affects the restaurant. The decor is industrial concrete tables, concrete/diamond metal floor with a large custom-designed mural. And despite the extensive lighting, the black ceiling gives off a gloomy atmosphere. And that broken toilet that was leaking towels on the floor didn't improve my experience. But I'll probably stop by again on my next visit to Munich. Not for guests with intolerances. The staff didn't know anything about their own menu or the dishes, they weren't very accommodating when we asked about alternatives, the atmosphere is a bit like a motorway hotel and the prices are a bit high in my opinion. Bad luck! We were really looking forward to the visit and were disappointed.
