Unfortunately the price performance doesn't match at all. With a Michelin star, I not only expect exquisite sounding courses, but also actually good tasting food. I was invited to a business fine dinner there, so I didn't have to pay for it myself. But I advised the organizer not to book at the Farm Haus again. Not a single one of the courses blew me away. Only rare types of preparation, such as dehydrating and re-hydrogenation, do not turn a zucchini into a delicacy. The homemade miso made the meal too salty in several courses. The fish was okay, the steak was unexciting and unimaginatively prepared. My table neighbors and I actually ordered the fresh farmer's bread several times because it actually tasted better than most courses. But the wines were very good! 1 star and 1 Green Star Guide Michelin for Fine Dine & 1 Green Star for à la carte are completely incomprehensible to me. And it would only be understandable if all the cooks were sick that day.

Went to the Michelin star restaurant. Very nice Dinner on the roof top terrace of the hotel with just 6 tables. At first it was weird to have such an entrance from hotel with no proper signs and indications. When on the terrace then we had a very nice service and experience. Menu mostly veggie based, with locally sourced ingredients. Personally enjoyed the whole experience, maybe without the roof top however I would find the price tag a bit high for the 7-8 dishes offered.

Unfortunately, the Mural Farmhouse Fine Dining disappointed us greatly. I had reserved the 12-course menu on the roof terrace for 150 euros per person especially for my wedding day to give my wife a surprise. The reservation was made two days in advance by telephone and confirmed by email. So we were happy. However, when we arrived at the restaurant after an hour's drive, there were no reservations in Fine Dining. This can happen, but instead of a solution or apology, we encountered incompetent, unfriendly and unusually indifferent staff who showed no interest in making up for the mistake. This is particularly a shame because the view from the roof terrace is really beautiful. I can't say anything about the quality of the food as we left the restaurant disappointed. A disappointing end to a special day.

This review refers exclusively to the Rooftop Bar (which Mural promotes as its own spinoff). The rooftop bar on the roof of the Wunderlocke Hotel has been around for a good two years now. I'm a huge fan of Mural Farmhouse and it's hard for me to say something like this, but enough is enough! This rooftop bar is a disappointment and should be reconsidered. It was already problematic last year, but I still had hope that the team would improve. However, after several visits in August, I definitely won't be going back to the 7th floor. The rooftop bar leaves something to be desired in many areas. The staff, with one exception, is not very hospitable, the drinks are carelessly put together, there is a lack of summer variety, and the food is unfortunately not convincing. Seriously, tout Julius Brandtner, but what is served as pizza here is more of a chunky, thick flatbread with toppings. Either the dough is not suitable for making pizza, or the error lies in the preparation. A nice employee took the time to listen to my frustration a few days ago. Reason for this: When I visited on Saturday around 3 p.m. everything was dirty but empty. There were diapers lying around, cigarette butts that had obviously been there for a day or two, the tables were dirty, and some of the hotel guests probably didn't feel like going to their rooms so they lay asleep in the few shaded areas. When I asked the employee about it, the reason given was mismanagement - and I can understand that, because this is about pointing out the existing problems. You might think that this was a one-off slip-up, but unfortunately I made another visit despite everything - and was disappointed again. The four tourists who obviously came five minutes after me (there was no one else at the bar) preferred to be served at the bar to order beer. When I pointed out that I had been waiting for five minutes, I was rudely asked if I had already ordered - even though my order wasn't even taken. The (two!) pizzas arrived at the table after exactly 47 MINUTES - I had to pay in advance and therefore have the time stamp from the terminal on the card. Next to me and my companion, only one other table had anything to eat, and it was yawningly empty. In total there were maybe three tables occupied by drinking tourists! It just took 47 minutes. The waiter then dropped the two pizzas from the tray onto the dirty table while serving and picked them up with his fingers in front of us and put them back on the tray. Aside from the fact that it was unsanitary, it almost made my stomach turn. This pizza, which consisted of 99% dough without air bubbles, cost, as I remember correctly, €13 and €16. Together with the water bottle we came to €34. The music was an unpleasant mix of 80s hits and drum 'n' bass beats that didn't really add to the ambience. We searched in vain for a DJ - but since this rooftop bar is already problematic in its current form, I hope that something fundamentally changes here. Oh yes, and there are only sparse shades; So if you go there without sunscreen and are not bothered by the noise of the cooling systems on the roof, you could be disappointed by the staff, the food or the ambience. It's a shame, because Mural Farmhouse is actually really great and I've been there many times - but this rooftop bar desperately needs a makeover. 0 out of 5 points

Pizza quite good, but very greasy with a lot of oil, even though it was from Brandtner. There was something green on the pizza that wasn't on the menu, which was a shame. Service was terrible, we first had the old menu card, but then they didn't have two of the new wines. Of the 3 rosés, 1 was not available, the alternative tasted terrible, but we couldn't give it back. The other white wine was out after our two. One waiter spoke a little German, the other not at all. Ice cream was regularly forgotten. At first you had to order at the bar “because there was no service yet”. Audience partly topless or sleeping, also inappropriate for a bar. Ambiance was nice, however. Not recommended for the prices, a shame!

Simply very poor value for money. Difficult to understand why the Michelin star was awarded. It started with the lady at the entrance to the terrace immediately telling us that we had no chance of getting a table today, that we could actually turn around. Of course we had reserved for fine dining, but she hadn't even asked about this beforehand. When we arrived at the table, the service there was at least super friendly. Unfortunately, at a Michelin restaurant you expect more than just friendliness. There was absolutely no attention, we sat at the table far too often with empty wine glasses, so we simply grabbed our wine bottle from the serving table ourselves and poured ourselves. Unfortunately, the food was also a disappointment. The courses are not exciting, hardly filling and simply too simple for a star restaurant. The waiting times between courses were extremely long; in total we sat there for 4 hours. Since we like to try “fine dining” often, we were extremely surprised that we left hungry after eating the menu. The biggest disappointment was probably the vegetarian alternative to the one meat course. I can understand that it is sometimes tricky to replace a dish with meat in an exciting vegetarian form. But for a restaurant in this price range it shouldn't be a problem. When we found three relatively tasteless broccoli florets with a little sauce on our plates, we were really disappointed. Even calling a small loaf of bread from Julius Brandner with oil a whole course is disappointing. Sure, the oil was delicious with leeks, but why does such a highly regarded restaurant have to buy bread from a bakery that I can get myself every day? That just doesn't do justice to the menu price. Likewise, the attention of the service staff was lacking in the end. We sat and sat, after many failed attempts at waving we were still not allowed to pay. The staff walked past us so many times, we said “excuse me?” so many times and yet no one paid any attention to us. It should also be noted that there are exactly 8 tables with two people each. It was virtually impossible to miss us. We also took the initiative there, got up and paid at the bar. All in all, these wouldn't be earth-shattering reasons if the food had been excellent. But since we left hungry and unimpressed, we definitely won't be coming back. The only two positive aspects: the terrace is beautiful, it's really a dream to sit on. The staff was really nice, just not suitable for this type of place.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Mural Farmhouse. Neither the rooftop bar nor the fine dining. And that's mainly because of the service. We were here twice in total and there were problems both times. Both times we were kept waiting for a long time and then simple requests were not responded to and we had to listen to half-scary excuses. Really a shame. Could have been one of our regulars...

Very disappointing. It sounded like an exciting, sustainable concept which we wanted to support. We will not be returning for multiple reasons: - the service was a complete disaster from start to finish; unacceptable for any sort of restaurant, let alone one awarded a Michelin star - the food pairings felt forced and the quality of the ingredients (although we appreciate the effort to source locally) not meeting the standard. Just don't serve tomatoes if you cannot find some with taste in the region at a specific season - not everything needs flowers on top; it would be better if they focused on simple and fine quality food rather than platting for instagram - ambiente mediocre; lots of background noise from suppliers refilling drinks, waitress complaining to guests and tables very small even for two people... - value for money: there are better and more enjoyable options nearby!

I am sorry to have to rate this restaurant this way due to the excitement we had about going. The positive aspects are the terrace and the attention of the staff. But on the negative side the long wait between dish and dish...40 min. In my opinion, it is an excessive amount of time that breaks the rhythm of a dinner. I also think that bread should not count as a dish on the tasting menu. Just like in the first pass that united 3 dishes in one. In the end there are 7 dishes in the service. In short, I don't see that they are at the level of the star they have.

I spoke to reception and asked if there’s a place I can fill up my water bottle. They said just to speak to the Bar . I spoke to the Bar and they said it would cost six euro to fill it up with filtered cold water. It’s more expensive for filter cold water from the tap then to buy a bottle of water! Also order a coffee here was 5.40 and was average at best.

Does the quality decrease with time after the star award? I thought about it for a long time and after no response when I tried to contact you personally, I unfortunately chose this route of evaluation. When we arrived on the roof terrace around 7:20 p.m. on this beautiful August evening, I was a little surprised that you couldn't fill your table yet because it wasn't fully set yet. The kitchen, in the form of an old gondola cabin, was completely unprepared at this point. After we got a nice place with a view of the sunset, the fine dining started. Unfortunately, we didn't get a menu and when we asked which course we were in, we couldn't get a satisfactory answer. Unfortunately, the dishes were only served lukewarm and overall I missed the WOW effect of the courses compared to previous visits. After the last course, which was served at around 11 p.m., which was definitely very late, and after paying, we would have liked to have had a receipt which, due to WiFi problems, could not be printed out either upstairs on the terrace or downstairs in the restaurant. On the way home in the subway I started talking to other guests of the evening, and they weren't very enthusiastic either. My conclusion after the third visit to Mural with changing chefs and staff is unfortunately sobering. The price-performance ratio is no longer worth a star. There will therefore be no further visit. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed during our visit to Mural Farmhouse. In summer, if the weather conditions are good, please note that the fine dining option takes place in the roof garden of the Mural Farmhouse. In order to be able to take advantage of this opportunity, we specifically chose a date in the summer and were looking forward to fine dining in the roof garden on that evening in perfect weather. The fact that we were still seated in the restaurant/hotel entrance because there was a closed party in the roof garden was unfortunately a big disappointment. Especially since this fact was not communicated transparently in advance and you were presented with a fait accompli upon reception. There wasn't even enough for an aperitif on the roof terrace because it was already full. On top of that, there was no apology from the restaurant management and only the waiters (who are least able to do that) apologize with a round on the house, makes it even more regrettable and shouldn't live up to Mural Farmhouse's own standards become. Unfortunately, it was also noticed that in addition to the restaurant, a large closed group had to be managed and that the service was therefore understaffed and the waiting times between courses were simply too long. Unfortunately, this no longer had much to do with the expectations of fine dining.

Deceptively lured with a rooftop ambience. In addition to us, other guests were also surprised that they weren't allowed to sit on the roof terrace, but in the cool bussines hotel atmosphere in the inner courtyard between the gray high-rise facades. The roof terrace is constantly highlighted on the website. Really a disappointment. A cancellation fee of €50 is also due for reservations in this atmosphere. The staff is nice, but not trained appropriately for the price level. You could also find the waitresses in a beer garden around the corner. With a three-figure bill for two main courses and two drinks, you can expect more. We like to spend good money on good food and good service. If you're looking for this, please keep looking.

We are currently staying at Wunderlocke and we were told twice by Barbara that they didn’t have a table to seat us. The first time actually the dialogue went like this: Us: Hello we would like a table for 4. 2 adults and 2 kids. Barbara: we just want to let you know that we don’t have a separate menu for kids Us: could they have a side of broccoli like the broccoli you have for the salad? Barbara: if it’s just for the broccoli you can have it out here (the bar). You don’t have to sit inside the restaurant. Second day she said again that they don’t have tables to sit us when the whole place was empty and there were only 3 tables full. They clearly don’t want to seat us because we have kids with us, which is outrageous!! Our kids are well behaved and quiet and this is the only restaurant at the hotel!! This person shouldn’t be working with people! Idk if this is the restaurant’s policy or this lady’s attitude but please know if you have kids be ready to be disrespected and shamed for it!

What a disappointment and what an idiot my partner is. I must start by saying that the Germans are not famous for either eating or serving and I, like an idiot, relied on the Michelin guide, which has always given me the right advice. In short, after days of frankfurters and sauerkraut I wanted to eat differently, well. How to get it all wrong. Where to start? - Location: a restaurant in a hotel without infamy and without praise, sad like most diners, including me. - Food: discreet, worthy of any bistro. The only positive note is the cooking of the trout, but don't get your hopes up. The rest is absolute zero. Ah, wait, in the "a la carte" the choice is incredibly poor, not to mention the wine list, even if the bottle chosen wasn't too bad (bidonal, radical chic without substance, perfectly reflecting the venue). Let's get to the real problem, as if that wasn't already enough, of the restaurant: the SERVICE. Eternal? grotesque? Disorganized? All this but there is even worse. For two tourists, who speak English, not receiving any explanation on what they are eating I think is worth mentioning (the staff should know how to explain those four things that are needed, also as a form of professionalism). I think even at the soup kitchen they tell you what you're eating. P.s. We weren't even asked if the guests had any intolerances or allergies, nor was the list of allergens specified in the very limited menu. Green award and Michelin guide star, it's unclear why. Courtesy? Meh.

Dream ambience with an extremely bad mood… Whenever the warm summer evening becomes too cheesy, you can simply visit the rooftop terrace of the Mural Farmhouse. After just 10 minutes, the highly stressed mood of the completely overwhelmed (and far too few staffed) staff has spread to you and you experience yourself intensely as a disruption. By the way, also or perhaps especially if you get the drink yourself at the bar at the request of the waitress… All this at ambitious prices between 15 and 19 euros for a medium-sized pizza and 8 euros for an eighth of white wine. Better not. Unfortunately. Because the ambience is so pretty... It makes your heart bleed.

we tried the rooftop. - no shade at all (with 32degrees), - server totally dis-organized (searching which plate is for which table), - we have waited 30min just to be able to order something, and then again more than 1 hour and half for one simple pizza and one humus appetizer... which both never came. we left with nothing. nothing to drink, nothing to eat but we were fedup to wait more. the server was just saying 'I cannot go faster than the kitchen'..... any other small street restaurant do better!!

We were guests at the Hotel WunderLocke, which is in the same building. The hotel is great, unfortunately the Mural restaurant really ruined our stay. We wanted to eat lunch in the restaurant and were treated a bit unfriendly. The waitress then apologized and everything was fine and we ate deliciously. When we were turned away in a very unfriendly manner at the rooftop bar in the evening (despite a reservation!) and I then spoke to the restaurant manager, I was treated with behavior that I had never experienced before. After being laughed at, I was accused of lying. The nice hotel staff tried to help me, but unfortunately it pretty much ruined our stay. If you are a guest at the Hotel WunderLocke, you should visit one of the great restaurants nearby, because this restaurant's service is technically subterranean.

Quite a disappointing experience. The dinner was extensive and took 4 whole hours, while the restaurant was actually quite empty for a Saturday evening. Pretentious dishes on large plates with tiny portions. The flavors could not make up for this and not a single dish really stood out to make an impression. Dehydrating seems to be the chefs main technique. Sophistication and innovation were lacking.

The view from the rooftop bar is great, but unfortunately the service is subpar. The staff is on average 15 years old and has never worked in service before. When the cucumber runs out, a lemon wedge is thrown into the Moscow Mule and left without comment. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff changes Spotify songs mid-song as if the whole place isn't hearing it, just the 3 homies behind the bar. Graduation party vibes. I'm very unimpressed.

Review refers to the rooftop bar, not the restaurant: Unfortunately, several bad experiences. Slow, inexperienced and overall very poor service, repeatedly incorrect invoices, incorrectly stated opening times and unfortunately also unfriendly. Food too expensive, but I think that would be ok for the beautiful location. I'm a regular at the hotel, but the rooftop bar is unfortunately totally disappointing.

We had the Chefs Choice menu here yesterday. There were really great greetings from the kitchen and the starters as well as the main course with fish were very good. However, the dessert was unfortunately quite disappointing. Strawberries with meringue and cream, although the meringue wasn't really edible, was rather weak for the price. In general, the portions for just 4 courses for €95 were very small and we weren't completely full, but the taste was very good apart from the dessert. Unfortunately there were no petit fours with the bill as I have read in other comments here. The wine list is very detailed and diverse. Unfortunately the waitress didn't really know anything about it and so we stuck to the winemakers we knew. Another positive thing to note is that the restaurant is very baby-friendly and offers enough space. We also liked the design and ambience. In terms of price, it was rather high per person, well over €100 with a bottle of wine, an aperitif and the Chef's Choice menu. Price-performance wasn't quite right for me. For the price we would have liked a meat course and a better/different dessert as well as good sommelier advice.

We called and asked when the rooftop bar would open. We were informed that it would be open from 4 p.m. We were a small group and had something to celebrate. After half an hour's journey we stood (with other guests) in front of a locked door. There was also a sign there saying it was open today and the opening times were from 4 p.m.!! When we asked those responsible at Mural Farmhouse, we were told, without explanation, that they would be opening today at 5:30 p.m. No apology, just an outrageous laugh from one of those responsible. You won't see me there anymore.

Actually it would be 3.5 stars, but it's not enough for me to round up to 4 because of price-performance/service. Positive: + The food was very tasty + We really liked the atmosphere with the many plants and the simply cool tables + The music was also something different than in other upscale restaurants with fine dining + There was enough space between the tables and you could have a good conversation. + The service especially from the Austrian service force was wonderful and refreshing and very good. + There were many new flavor components and textures that we enjoyed. For example, the water radish course or the “taco” course were simply brilliant. Negative: - The "hip" looking chairs just weren't comfortable for the length of time we were there (4.5 hours). My husband and I in particular have longer legs and the chairs are a tad too low and after 2.5 hours it was impossible not to dance around looking for a better sitting position. - We didn't understand the timing of the individual courses at all. The first 4-5 plates came one after the other, only about 8 minutes apart each, just so that you were just finished, and then suddenly nothing came for ages and it was completely dragging out the back. We then even asked one of the waiters where we were in the menu sequence and how much was still to come and we were told there were 4 more things including the current plate, but then there were still 6 and the time in between was long and then we have Ordered the bill as soon as the dessert arrived, whereupon the service, somewhat rushed, served up petite fours. - Music playlist repeated - Where the service was excellent at the beginning of the evening, from the middle onwards empty wine glasses and empty water bottles were sometimes overlooked for a long time (sometimes even after self-statement of "Ah, I'll fill up the wine glass straight away!") This was only addressed when asked 15min reminded). In general, there was the feeling that when it got busier, the normal service was simply understaffed and could not maintain the initially more loving and detailed care throughout the evening without seeming rushed. - Maybe that's why the kitchen itself served courses in between, but promptly served non-vegetarian food to the vegetarians. - Overall, the food was more than enough to fill you up. Absolutely no question. BUT the portions were still too small. Not from a getting full perspective but from a “even tasting what it’s all about” perspective. For me, in fine dining, gradually tasting more things with each bite and understanding the interplay of textures is a big part of the experience. There is no question that the food is prepared and served lovingly and with a lot of effort, but if you can only taste a component of it once because the portions are small, then that is a shame because no one can tell everything in one bite. In comparison to Essence or TIAN, which unfortunately no longer exists in Munich, the price here is one that, in my opinion, is not reflected in the price-performance ratio, especially because the service is not as high-class (and what is worth how much to you , is simply subjective and for other people this concept of Mural is perhaps more appealing than for me.) The Mural just has more courses, more different things, etc. With the others you probably only have 7 courses for less money, although the portions there are all a bit larger in quantity and amount to about the same total amount as in the Mural, but you can do that individual components also cost longer. And everyone finds different things more relevant. Some people appreciate the greater variety in the mural, others appreciate the longer exposure to a corridor elsewhere. We had fine dining at Mural Farmhouse last week. Unfortunately the ambience was not suitable for a 2 star restaurant. Our table wobbled and the furniture was generally very uncomfortable after two hours of sitting. Which unfortunately meant that the last courses were a little less enjoyable. We booked the earlier time slot and it was pointed out when making the reservation that you should allow approx. 3.5 hours of time. Unfortunately, this included an hour's waiting time, as the 7:30 p.m. guests had to catch up on the menu from then on, so both groups finished the menu at the same time. You should perhaps specify this when making the reservation, as it took us a total of over 4 hours. In addition, the area between fine dine and “normal” evening menu was not separated. Guests with flip flops and dogs take some getting used to for a fine dine evening. The playlist in the restaurant repeated itself after 3 hours, which can be a bit annoying for music lovers. We would also have liked the evening's menu at the table again. For a better overview of the courses and the course of the evening. The service staff were very polite and accommodating to us. However, it is somewhat inconvenient if the service staff complains about other guests within earshot of guests. Coughing etiquette (turning away at the table) would also be nice. Therefore, unfortunately only 3 stars for the service, as in our opinion such things are important in an upscale restaurant. The food was of very good quality and great attention to detail. Unfortunately, not every course was completely consistent. Overall, the food was very good, with still some room for improvement.

Unfortunately, an absolutely average restaurant with overpriced prices and mediocre service. Food: Starter fish soup (18 EUR) with two small pieces of fish and some pear (which was tasteless). The dish has a fine taste, but has nothing to do with fish soup. Main course short rib (42 EUR) with some radicchio and onions. We're talking about ONE rib, not ribs but ONE "strip" of rib! There's no sauce or anything like that! This ONE rib should be cooked for 48 hours and is as firm as an apple! A work of art in itself! I have no idea how a rib can be so firm after 48 hours. Spoiler: You won't get full from this main course! For 42 EUR you feel a bit ripped off (quality or not)! Main course gnocchi with wild garlic and mountain cheese (21 EUR) including asparagus, which no one said before. The best food in terms of portion. However, enough wild garlic was used until the dish tastes pungently spicy. A real challenge in terms of taste. Service: Used cutlery is simply placed on the table by the staff and any food stains are not wiped away. The guest should either wipe it off themselves or lick the spoon/fork thoroughly! Our criticism of the food was accepted without further response or concern. No “thanks for the feedback”, absolutely nothing! In such a price range, I expect a professional service that can also handle criticism! All in all, 2.5 stars: Paid a lot of money without really being full or experiencing a taste explosion. A pity!

We went to the Mural Farmhouse for fine dining in the evening and had the menu accordingly (1x regular, 1x pescatarian). The food was excellent and of high quality. We particularly liked the combination of regional and seasonal ingredients as well as the combination of different ways of preparing individual ingredients. We didn't have any wine accompaniment, but were advised on a suitable wine upon request. The service was very good, unobtrusive, relaxed and friendly. Perhaps a little more or more individual information could have been given about the individual dishes/ingredients; in some cases it sounded a bit memorized. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, so you feel comfortable while eating and can concentrate on what's important (good food, good wine, good company). All in all, a great restaurant that implements the concept of “relaxed, casual” high-quality fine dining very well.

A visit to Dehner's to see the equipment... although you don't go there to eat.; All the hosts thought they were quite cool and friendly, except for the snippy sommelieue, who basically knew everything better; You can also buy Julius Brandtner's bread in the store, where it is also available...oh, and don't forget the reanimated vegetables (the carrot!), which you are extremely proud of. Overrated, too expensive, self-absorbed, little. It's better to go to the Goldener Stern in Rohrbach: the people there are friendly and the cuisine is fantastic...

The concept and idea are completely convincing, but the price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. The quality and taste of the dishes were consistently very high (except for the undercooked potatoes), but compared to other top or starred restaurants, the portion sizes and the actual value of the dishes seem a bit small for the price asked. The extraordinarily friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere should be positively highlighted. Still, for a price of 80 euros, you expect to be full at the end of the meal. A pity.

Mural was a great place to visit. Not only goes it have a Michelin star but also two Michelin green stars. The restaurant really shined in their innovative approaches to certain dishes. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was okay, there was nothing notable other than being harder than usual to find and quite out of the way. The service was very good as is expected from a Michelin star restaurant. The food: the food was excellent, notable points were the fish with the crisped scales, the Dessert, and the greens on ice which gets turned into an alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage. Overall the Mural Farmhouse is a sustainable high end restaurant who shines in their presentation and creativity in food. For the price I would recommend trying it out.

I wanted to eat there three times. Twice it was only possible because, unusually for a restaurant in a hotel, a closed party paralyzed the restaurant and bar with its offer of sandwiches. The third time I quit mentally. The "duck" with red cabbage and bread dumplings ended in a duck leg because the breast is needed for fine dining. The bread dumpling consisted of three bread dumpling schnitzels. I was handed a bowl with two slices of bread dumplings and red cabbage when I had finished the leg. There was also a glass of red wine for free. But people, that's not a duck for 31 euros. I can't recommend that and I won't spend around 80 euros myself anymore. But I can get more of the same quality for the money elsewhere. You can also use a restaurant exclusively for an event and still serve hotel guests at the bar. You can also talk about duck parts, that would be fair. Everything else is label fraud. The answer corresponds to what one could expect. Low demands, high prices. Well then let's hope that there is the right audience for it.

tl;dr: looks cool, serves even cooler food The place: requires a little bit to work to find, as you have to go down some stairs, enter a hotel lobby and then turn right to get to it. Very cool concept of cooking with whatever local ingredients they can source for the month (I cannot confirm whether this is actually what they do). It had a very lively atmosphere, with guests chatting loudly. Tables looked like they were made from recycled bits of stuff as well, pretty rad. The food: You do not know what you will get until they start bringing you stuff. You can perhaps find a list of the particular ingredients they will use for a given month on their website, but you will not get a menu. If you cannot handle gastronomic surprises, might not be for you. I particularly like that kinda thing. They did a very unexpected number of serving a piece of cabbage in a glass with some sauce and ice, then after we were done pouring gin into it to make a drink. Super cool! The highlights for me were the fish dishes, which were all delicious, and, believe it or not, their unusually-shaped croissant. That was probably one of the best, if not THE best, croissant I've tried. The service: precisely what one would expect for a Michelin-star restaurant. Knowledgeable, efficient staff :D As a nice touch at the end, you get a card hand-signed by all staff, as well as chef Rico. That was a first for me, and it's super thoughtful. We definitely appreciated it!

Das Wort 'perfekt' beschreibt den Abend, den wir im Mural Farmhouse erleben durften, treffend. Mit regionalen Produkten 14 abwechslungsreiche Gänge zu servieren, ist ja schon eine Kunst. Jeder Gang, der unterschiedlich serviert wurde, war ein absolutes Geschmackserlebnis. Besondere Ideen im Menü, wie, z. B. das Eiswasser eines Ganges danach mit Gin zu verfeinern, überraschen und bereichern das Menü. Vielen Dank auch an das tolle Service Team, die neben einem tollen Service, uns alle Fragen rund um das Menü und die Getränke beantwortet haben. Die Käseplatte ist deutlich überteuert und auch die Menge an Wein, die für über 10.- pro Glas eingeschenkt wird, ist dafür einfach zu wenig. Danke dem ganzen Team und dem 'alten' Küchenchef viel Erfolg. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Noch nie habe ich qualitativ soo gut und lecker gegessen. Ein 12 Gänge Menü mit perfekter Weinbegleitung. Super netter, zuvorkommender Service. Einen Stern Abzug gebe ich, da die Weingläser nur auf Wunsch gewechselt wurden, vor allem wenn man von Weiß auf Rotwein oder umgekehrt müssten die Gläser ausgetauscht werden. Erst zum Dessert gab es dann frische Gläser. Auch der Sekt wurde in Weingläsern serviert. Finde ich persönlich nicht so optimal. Und fast unverschämt fand ich den Preis für die Käsevariation. 16€ für 4 Stückchen Käse. 😳😳 Schade auch, dass es kein Brot am ganzen Abend zum Menü oder zum Käse gab. Ansonsten gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen und wir kommen zum entsprechenden Anlass gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank auch für das Überraschungstörtchen zum Geburtstag 🎂 🎂

Von dem Moment an, als wir die Tür betraten, bis zum letzten Bissen, wurden wir von einem herausragenden Service begleitet. Die Weinbegleitung war absolut bemerkenswert - jedes Glas war eine Reise für den Gaumen und ergänzte die Gerichte perfekt. Die Kombinationen von Aromen und Texturen waren meisterhaft und jedes Detail auf dem Teller war kunstvoll präsentiert. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für einen unvergesslichen Abend voller kulinarischer Genüsse! Dieses Restaurant ist zweifellos ein Juwel, das man in München erleben muss.

My cousin (professional chef) decided what we would eat, of course I could have chosen the fish-based appetizer I wanted as an appetizer. Well, that was my fault. Well, we took a tartar-some salad, and just what we expected. First came a good bread with a good coating. Yes, yum! The chef hadn't bothered to put much pepper or salt in that steak tartare salad (? or what was it), it was a bit tasteless. The flowers tasted good! Next we ate knocks, which had a good sauce, just a little bit. I would have liked more because of the taste. In the end, we ate meat last, and if it was deer loin, ok, but it was really tough anyway. I didn't enjoy the food very much, but the staff was especially nice. A really warm place for the staff! Next time I will order the food I want myself. And I ask the chef to cook the meat to overcooked, if otherwise the toughness of the meat cannot be broken. And there should have been a little more meat, the two pieces were quite small. It's an okay place, but way overpriced for the price. p.s. There is really good wines to drink in this restaurant! Ppss. The waiter forgot to bring our last sweet wine at the end of the order, and it was charged on the final bill. Of course, we pointed this out, and it was removed from our final bill.

Essen durchwegs sehr sehr gut (viele Höhen und ein paar tiefen). Richtig toll im Farmhouse (und auch in den anderen Mural Ablegern) ist der Regionalitätsgedanke der allerdings heutzutage zu 99% Standard, in dieser Restaurantklasse ist oder sein sollte! Liebhaber von natural Weinen sind hier bestens aufgehoben. Was ich leider etwas schade finde, ist die Tatsache das man inzwischen in halb München, das wenn auch hervorragende, Brot von Julius Brantner bekommt….. Wäre schön mal wieder etwas selbstgebackenes zu sehen.

Update 10/2023: Kurz nach meiner Bewertung hat sich das Restaurant telefonisch gemeldet. In dem Gespräch hatte ich den Eindruck, dass man ernsthaft an uns als Kunden und unseren Erfahrungen interessiert war. Warum meine Mails zunächst untergegangen sind ist zwar immer noch unklar - aber im Ergebnis fand ich den Umgang mit dem Fehler nun sehr gut und auch das "sich was einfallen lassen" wurde bei einem Besuch letztes Wochenende mehr als nur nachgeholt. Das Erlebnis bei unserem dritten Besuch war wieder wie beim ersten Mal. Wir sind definitiv versöhnt und kommen gern wieder! --- Wir waren im Abstand von wenigen Monaten zwei Mal im Mural Farmhouse - jeweils Mittags. Die Konstante ist ein wirklich tolles regionales Essen, das handwerklich gut zubereitet wurde. Das drumherum hingegen hätte unterschiedlicher nicht sein können: beim ersten Mal aufmerksamer Service, beim zweiten mal erfährt man trotz Reservierung dann vor Ort dass das Restaurant wegen einer geschlossenen Gesellschaft zu sei und wird auf eine Absage aus der Nacht per Mail verwiesen. Gut, Fehler passieren. Doch leider war auch der Umgang mit dem Fehler einfach mies: Aus dem "wir lassen uns richtig was einfallen für euch beim nächsten Besuch" wurden 2 Gläser Prosecco (bekomme ich bei jedem Brunch dazu). Und selbst auf eine ausführliche Mail ans Restaurant hin hält es niemand für nötig auch nur zu antworten! Schade, um die wirklich gute Küche - aber leider scheint das drumherum entweder überfordert oder nicht wirklich am Gast interessiert.

Wir (4) freuten uns auf den Abend, aber wir wurden leider enttäuscht. Das nachhaltige Konzept wurde uns nicht erklärt und der Ablauf des Abends auch nicht. Eine nicht besonders freundliche Sommeliere schaute uns böse an als wir unwissend nach neuen Weingläsern gefragt haben. Die Weinberatung von ihr war mehr als mäßig und Gastfreundlichkeit ein Fremdwort für sie. Das Essen wurde einfach gestartet ohne uns zu fragen ob wir vielleicht Vegetarier wären oder Unverträglichkeiten hätten. Eigentlich ein Standard, vor allem in der Sterneküche. Das Essen war durchgängig mäßig mit Ausnahme von 2 wirklich tollen Gängen. Die Auswahl der Lebensmittel war sehr einfach. Für uns etwas zu einfach. Das Ambiente lud nur bedingt zu einem besonderen und gemütlichen Abend ein, der Sterne-Bereich ist nicht abgetrennt vom Hotelrestaurant. Warum dieses Restaurant einen Michelin-Stern bekommen hat, erschließt sich uns an diesem Abend nicht.

Wir waren hier vor einigen Wochen zu zweit am Abend zum Essen. Insgesamt ist das Ambiente und die Inneneinrichtung wirklich sehr schön. Modern und freundlich. Mir gefällt auch die Gesamterscheinung des Hotels, Restaurants und des Barbereiches. Ein besonderes Highlight ist natürlich auch die Dachterrasse im Sommer. Das Essen ist gut, auch abwechslungsreich Teilweise finde ich es aber ein Tick zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. Das Service ist aufmerksam, aber hat einen leichten Touch zur Arroganz, was mir persönlich missfällt. Es ist beispielsweise aus meiner Sicht unangebracht, wenn Servicekräfte Kleidung mit deutlichen Markensymbolen anhaben. Das gehört einfach nicht in eine gehobene Gastronomie Dennoch ist dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen gerade zu besonderen Anlässen oder wenn man Freunde oder Familie einladen möchte von mir also vier Sterne mit einem kleinen Abzug.

Das Restaurant positioniert sich im gehobenen Preissegment, was vollkommen unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Ich war als Gast des benachbarten Aparthotels Wunderlocke zum Frühstück im Mural Farmhouse und muss sagen, dass ich mir für 21,00 doch ein etwas umfangreicheres Buffet vorgestellt hatte. Zwar war alles sehr nett angerichtet, aber die Auswahl entsprach bei weitem nicht dem Preis. So wurden außer hart gekochten Eiern keine weiteren warmen Eierspeisen angeboten und das Angebot an Käse beschränkte sich auf eine einzige Sorte. Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass neben dem Filterkaffee aus Warmhaltekannen auch Kaffeespezialitäten von der Bar im Preis eingeschlossen waren. Zu der unten stehenden Antwort des Unternehmens folgende Richtigstellung: Im Wunderlocke wurde für die Zeit vom 4.10. bis 7.10. ein Frühstücksbuffet im Mural Farmhouse für 21,00 € beworben.

Die Idee und das Konzept dahinter sind super, aber was man im Verhältnis zum Preis bekommt ist leider enttäuschend. Geschmacklich sind die Gerichte sehr gut gewesen, aber wenn man den Warenwert und die Portionen dem Preis gegenüberstellen, dann bekommt man in anderen Restaurants in der Sternekategorie mehr. Wir waren vom Essen geschmacklich sehr angetan. Leider waren wir alle 4 nach 13 Gängen nicht satt. Freilich geht es in der Sternegastronomie nicht um vollgestopft sein, aber ein Sättigungsgefühl sollte sich doch einstellen. Wir sind weder bei 1, 2 noch 3 Sternen je Hungrig ins Bett gegangen. Ich habe dann als Schwangere am Ende noch um etwas gebeten, gab dann aber nur Brot mit Lauchbutter für mich, da die Küche nichts mehr anderes hatte. Fande ich bei einer Rechnung von 1200 Euro nicht angemessen. Die anderen bekamen nichts angeboten, hatten aber noch gegen Aufpreis eine winzige Käseplatte mit 2 Crackern bestellt. Hier wäre nochmal nachbessern angesagt. Hungrig sollte kein Gast nach Hause, bzw. sollten dann alle Gäste am Tisch nochmal zumindest Brot angeboten werden. Aber den Gast nur mit Brot abspeisen ist eigentlich auch nix...

Though I have received fantastic service, in other places i been “down greated” or even told that I must order a main course. My drink was always full, friendly conversations and great dessert recommendation, thank you Noi Dessert I had Poviova with raspberry-ragout, yogurt & lemongrass icecreme - it was simply a great combination for sweet, crunchy, creamy and sour, sharp. After that I tried the hazelnut foam & ice cream with cherry, it was good but not as good as the first dessert. Definitely will be back again to check out the other starters and desserts

Wir waren Ende Mai im Mural Farmhouse essen und hatten das Share-Menü gewählt. Das Essen war großartig und jeder Gang hat uns vollends überzeugt. Wir waren nach dem Abendessen schon fast zu sehr gesättigt, sodass wir den Preis mehr als gerechtfertigt fanden. Der Service war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam, aber zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich. Die Lage ist etwas abseits und man vermutet ein so tolles Restaurant nicht an dieser Location, sodass wir ein paar extra Minuten gebraucht haben das Restaurant zu finden. Alles in allem eine riesengroße Empfehlung – wer gutes Essen und Sharing Konzepte in einer lockeren Atmosphäre sucht ist hier genau richtig!

Die Location ist ganz cool, wobei nur die eine Seite der Bar einen richtig tollen Blick hat. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend, jedoch würde ich nicht wiederkommen. Ich finde die Preise sehr hoch (für einen Campari Spritz 15€ - das ist fast doppelt so viel, wie man an anderen coolen Orten in München zahlt), weshalb ich dann erwarten würde, dass alles drum herum einwandfrei stimmt. Jedoch war an diesem Abend der Service katastrophal: Bestellungen wurden durcheinander gebracht, es wurde uns einfach eine fremde Rechnung ungefragt an den Tisch gelegt, Unklarheiten auf der Speisekarte konnten nicht erklärt werden (obwohl es maximal nur 9 Gerichte gab). Ich weiß, dass es manchmal zu Fehlern kommen kann, aber wenn ich doppelt so viel zahle wie woanders, dann erwarte ich eine gewisse Professionalität und Persönlichkeit im Service - und die war leider gar nicht gegeben. Das Essen war gut, aber auch hier fand ich das Preis leistungsverältnis nur okay. Außerdem fehlten Lichter bzw. Kerzen auf Tischen als es langsam dunkel wurde. Leider war es auf der einen Seite der Bar so dunkel, dass alle Gäste ihre Handy Taschenlampen anmachen mussten - das kann man eigentlich so schnell ändern und würde es sehr viel gemütlicher machen :) Ich wünsche euch noch viel Erfolg. Der Ort hat Potenzial, aber so wie es gerade eben ist, ist es für mich noch nicht genug - dafür gibt es einfach zu viele bessere Alternativen in München.

Unterirdischer Service ruiniert Rooftopbar mit schönem Ausblick und gutem Essen. Caesar Salad wurde vom Kellner als vegetarisch bezeichnet, es war natürlich Speck drin. Burrata war kein Burrata sondern regulärer Mozzarella. Hauptspeise (Portobello) kam lange nicht, auf Nachfrage wurde uns mehrfach gesagt dass es unterwegs sei. Zwei Stunden nach der Vorspeise (!!!) wurde uns mitgeteilt unsere Bestellung sei im System nicht auffindbar und das Gericht sei ausverkauft. Proaktiv es kulantes Entgegenkommen auch Fehlanzeige, erst bei Bezahlung der Rechnung wurde nachdem wir es angesprochen haben die Rechnung leicht reduziert.

Zu zweit besucht am 28.07. zum Fine Dining Menü mit Weinbegleitung: Der erste Eindruck vor dem Restaurant/Hotel ist schwierig, Kinder rennen herum, Baustelle gegenüber, als Restaurant-Eingang nicht deutlich zu erkennen. Jedoch nicht viel was das Restaurant selber hier tun kann. Nachdem der Eingang gefunden wurde, Begleitung zum Tisch. Hierbei wird der à la carte Sitzbereich durchquert, der Tisch in der Folge in einem zweiten Bereich im selben Raum, keine Trennung wodurch auch die Geräuschkulisse entsprecht laut ist. Das Ambiente ist konfus, man könnte in einer Kantine, einem Frühstücksraum eines Hotels, besserem Wartebereich o.Ä. sitzen. Der Service kommt und der Abend startet, leider holprig. Keine wirkliche Konzepterklärung, alles sehr locker und lässig, wie bei Freunden - die aber normalerweise keine 500+ Euro für einen Abend verlangen. Neben dem Ambiente passt die Professionalität und Aufmerksamkeit nicht mit Preisgestaltung und Außenauftritt zusammen. Gerichte wurden nicht vollumfänglich oder ratender Weise erklärt, Wassergläser blieben leer, usw. Die Gerichte sind minimalistisch und absolut regional. Sie überzeugen in Geschmack, sind raffiniert nach verschiedenen Methoden zubereitet. Kein Hummer oder Wolfsbarsch, weiß man aber vorher wenn man hier her kommt. Hier passt Anspruch, Konzept und Umsetzung absolut und überzeugt. Preis-Leistung angesichts der Gerichte angemessen, die Weinbegleitung war passend jedoch preislich hinsichtlich der servierten Weine am oberen Ende, Service und Ambiente können mit Anspruch - zumindest soweit sich dieser aus Preisen und Auszeichnungen ableitet - nicht mithalten. Auf der Rechnung wurde dann noch eine Wasserpauschale berechnet, 18 Euro für 1 (0,7?) Flasche war dann doch überraschend. In Summe schauen wir leider ernüchtert auf den Abend zurück, in keinem Fall ein völliger Reinfall aber für uns weit ab von der fine dining peer group. Wir werden auf absehbare Zeit nicht zurückkehren.

Besuchsdatum: 17.11.2023 Das Restaurant hat ein wirklich spannendes Konzept und setzt das nachhaltige und regionale Konzept authentisch um. Auch der Service ist über den ganzen Abend extrem zuvorkommend, freundlich und aufmerksam gewesen. Vom Geschmack des Menüs (11 Gänge, vegetarisch) waren wir aber leider nicht überzeugt. Für unseren Geschmack waren viele Speisen entweder unangenehm säuerlich oder versalzen - für 2 Gäste die normalerweise jedes Gericht nachsalzen müssen und hier nicht empfindlich sind. In Summe hatten wir das Gefühl, das die Gerichte geschmacklich zu überladen waren und wenig ausbalanciert. Schade vor allem deshalb, weil die Zutatenliste an sich angenehm reduziert ist und die tollen Gemüsesorten dabei komplett in den Hintergrund treten. Ein spannender Abend, aber bei dem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis werden wir es bei dieser einen Erfahrung belassen.

Wow, people! What an incredibly delicious meal? How well can a drink accompaniment (even non-alcoholic ones) fit and taste? And how great can service be? Not to mention the ambience! We had a wonderful evening with you, we will definitely come back and give an absolute recommendation, everything was at its best!
