I can't say anything about the food and ambience. I had a reservation that I had to cancel. After a phone call with Ms. Lehmann, she assured me that the reservation would be canceled and the money would be credited to me. For two months now I've been struggling with, among other things, trying to reach someone at 100/200 because KLARNA asked me to solve the problem at the restaurant. The reservation was made through Tock who canceled the outstanding amount. This is really bad service 100/200.
I stopped by for a quick lunch, without a reservation. I had asked, and the chef was kind enough to prepare my plates a little faster than usual since I had a schedule to keep at the main station.
The servers were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was very good, especially the sous-vide egg with spinach and potatoes.
Unfortunately, the ambience is... different. The restaurant is attached to the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art and that partially affects the restaurant. The decor is industrial concrete tables, concrete/diamond metal floor with a large custom-designed mural. And despite the extensive lighting, the black ceiling gives off a gloomy atmosphere.
And that broken toilet that was leaking towels on the floor didn't improve my experience.
But I'll probably stop by again on my next visit to Munich. I have high hopes.

We visited Prism in anticipation of a particularly wonderful birthday evening with exciting dishes. The restaurant is very sober, unpretentious, and cool in both temperature and atmosphere. We were unable to find a suitable bottle of wine – a full-bodied white, preferably barrique-aged – to go with our à la carte menu. The sommelier offered us three samples, none of which appealed to us in terms of taste or aroma. The waitress then gave us a small glass of an unnamed wine. The sommelier then kept busy with her loud and rapid conversation with the other guests. So we drank water with the five very small and unexciting courses. There was no Leventine inspiration, at least for us, that evening; only the lobster tacos were convincing. The main courses were particularly disappointing. The meagre, the size of a domino, on a few strips of leek in a sour sauce, and a very tough, flavorless duck left us perplexed by the star rating and hungry.
Still fantastically delicious in 2021. Service very friendly and pleasantly discreet. Still a well-deserved 5 stars. If you want to forget Corona and everyday life, you've come to the right place. Very nice atmosphere with the usual best cuisine.
Always consistent highest quality in 2023. I've been eating at Kunz for 30 years and am thrilled every time.
2024 ...and again a treat...the food is a feast for the palate and amygdala (reward center) and eyes. The ambience, very pleasant service, always a delight...
The individual nature of the different courses stands out in details and is usually accompanied by an attentive look from Ms. Malathounis. What we particularly liked was the large selection of good Greek wines. Here you can feel decades of experience at a high level. A thoroughly successful evening with great hosts, thank you very much.
The hotel is a german icon with a rich heritage & history dating back from the Emperor days. Beautifully & fully rebuilt after its collapse under Easter Germany, it celebrates Prussian culture & craftmanship. That said, now 20 years after it's grand reopening, an insolvency, Corona, etc. it's clear that the unit economics are still not working at Heiligendamm. Cost cutting has been relentless, up to the point that much of the initial splendour is gone. Food at the Nelson Bar & the Spa is very pricey and without any frills. Too few and untrained staff. Beds don't get mounted for day-service any more. Those beautiful & expensive covers remain unused int the closets. Entertainment in the rooms is outdated (still early 2000's). Hardly any electric plugs, forget USB altogether. Much of the infrastructure doesn't get the maintenance it requires. So prepare for some things not to work properly. The staff is doing what it can but as a guest, having visited over a dozen times since 2007, I can't help but feeling sad to see this beautiful hotel unwind. Used to be rightfully called a leading hotel in the world. Today, sadly no more.
A wonderful experience. Top service, extremely good, friendly and relaxed sommelier who recommended very nice, unusual wines. The plate language is unique and the dishes are incredibly sophisticated, perfectly composed and extremely tasteful. This is how you imagine fine dining.
Poor, inattentive service - Had to wait up to 10 minutes for the menu, drinks came after the meal :( and asked 4 times for the bill 8 and the restaurant was now not overly full)
A restaurant you can choose for a delicious, enjoyable and quiet dinner. The flavors that hit your palate and the fineness of the service make you want to be there again. I would like to thank the chef and his valuable team. My daughter's birthday dinner was wonderfully delicious ♥️ I recommend it!
A wonderful restaurant with exquisite food, a stylish ambience and an attentive, warm team. Here you feel completely comfortable and enjoy every moment. Absolute recommendation!
Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy any course of our menu. The dishes were creative and unusually prepared, as is usual in star restaurants, but the taste was not consistent.
An example of this is the strong cabbage taste of the black cabbage leaves in the otherwise sweet dessert.
The service gave us the impression that a job was being done here. In any case, there was no passion for one's own actions, so there was no warm atmosphere.
We would have liked to at least have been asked before a new bottle of mineral water was opened, as we like to switch to still water for dessert.
We found the industrial design ambience appealing. Unfortunately, the chairs without armrests do not invite you to linger for a long time.
