The Gasthaus Krone is actually an old village pub and that's a good thing. It feels like nothing has changed for 100 years with a wood stove in the dining room and low ceilings. In addition, there is the kitchen with many old traditional dishes
which are cooked very delicately in the same way as Grandma's. Of course, juicy steaks and, in the asparagus season, delicious asparagus dishes are also offered and at fair prices. The landlady and the waitress are very attentive and friendly. Since word has gotten around about this insider tip, it makes sense to make a reservation.
The hammer.
Some came in the evening thirsty and hungry
Hours later it came out very full and with a slight list.
Drinking my first half Goaßmaß is the only thing I wouldn't recommend as a non-Bayer.
Otherwise I was happy and satisfied.
I'd love to come back!
A must after the theatre! Definitely an elegant, tasty and traditional option.
Excellent service, honest prices and very tasty food. Interesting offer of German and other wines. We have a spectacular Wiener Schnitzel.
Delicious, homemade food, without any frills but very tasty. Very nice hospitality, if you're lucky, even a poem or history from the village. I really enjoy being there.
Unfortunately, I can't rate the food and the ambience because, despite making a reservation by phone, we were shown the door two hours in advance because it was suddenly closed. I've never experienced anything like this before.
Had our group's early Christmas dinner at this restaurant. The food was very good, especially fresh and handmade. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are definitely justified for this quality. The deer goulash is highly recommended
