Live music with food and drink was good

Unfortunately, there is nothing on the menu about horseradish in the burger sauce. When ordering the dish, only Dijon mustard was mentioned about the homemade sauce, but not horseradish. Without this sauce, the patty was less pleasant to eat, especially in terms of taste.

Food was hot and tasty, large portion. Service was very nice and accommodating. It was a lovely evening here. The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the strong humming sound as if a truck was driving behind the house.

Very nice beer garden right on the river with good beer from the Krug brewery in Breitenlesau and snacks. Self-service. Very reasonable prices.

Totally great shop, a bit old fashioned but I love it! Like when I was young. Food is great and the waitresses are super nice!

In summer a wonderful place to enjoy a very tasty Prosecco Rosé.

Unfreundlicher Wirt. Hält sich nicht an Absprachen. Es soll 3 Essen für unter 10 Euro geben mittags. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Wirt hat sich unsere Gruppe für 11 Schweinebraten für je 10 Euro entschieden. Beim Bezahlen war der Wirt nicht mehr da. Er kommunizierte telefonisch mit uns und drohte mit der Polizei, falls wir nicht den regulären Preis zahlen, der in der Karte steht. Nie wieder Hexengarten Gern! So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt.

A very cozy restaurant, with super friendly service and delicious food

The Schäufele with savoy cabbage and the pulled pork were excellent. The apple fritters at the neighboring table also looked great and were highly praised. The young service lady was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself appears traditionally rustic and therefore very authentic. The old corner bench can also wobble a bit😊 The restaurant is located just outside the center of Bamberg and is an excellent place to stop after you have completed the hike to Altenburg. An absolute recommendation.

Birthday party - closed company: beautifully set tables, great decoration. Fast, attentive service. Wonderful food, vegetarians were also thought of. Salad as a starter, main course selectable, very fine dessert. An all-round successful evening in a great, hospitable location. Clear recommendation.
