Ancient biker meeting place near/in Haltern. Unfortunately, over the years it has no longer been such an attraction because opening times are sometimes canceled. It used to be there often, but now it's more sporadic.
Even though we have often visited our beloved Bavarian... There was a tavern and beer garden and some of our guests were always taken back to a wonderful time with Jennifer & Martin, the christening celebration was by far the best. Thank you.
This restaurant has been closed for three months, they should update the situation on Google, closed permanently.
It has been a very good restaurant and with a very nice Biergarten.
This is the second time I eat here. The first time I ate outside in the beer garden shortly after Corona time, but this time inside. Both the first and second time I really enjoyed what I ate.
But this time was much more pleasant and beautiful. Why ? So I reserved a table the day before. A very nice female voice accepted my reservation. When we arrived this evening, we were warmly welcomed and shown into a red wine-colored room, where our reserved table was beautifully set waiting for us.
The waitress, a blonde, pretty and nice lady, took our orders and served us with a very pleasant and friendly smile.
What I found even nicer and not something to be taken for granted is that we were greeted by the owner himself. He walked through the room from one table to the other to greet each individual guest and inquire whether everything was OK with us. Simply great 👏
The food was delicious and beautifully presented on the plate.
We enjoyed it in a pleasant atmosphere.
Just a small comment: the consistency of the dessert was more like a pudding than a chocolate mouse and in my opinion it was missing a bit of cream on top in terms of appearance and taste. But it still tasted good.
The Felsenpavillion is idyllically situated on the Saale River.
Unfortunately, the service is very poor. A long wait for the first order, and after that, you're left to your own devices. We also waited almost an hour for the food. A real shame!
The ambience is unparalleled and you can only call for a visit, if only to preserve the location. If I close my eyes and could wish for something, it would be the expansion of the menu to include grilled food... but that is probably counteracted by the incalculability. The snack board is still lovingly prepared and the sausage salad with a large pretzel is a price hit. After changing the concept by changing the food served cold/warm, I have to sing my praises steam...if the queue at the hot counter is longer, it is advisable for your partner to bring a thicker book like "War and Peace". Otherwise he/she will quickly get bored...or he/she will hook up with a visitor who has also been left behind. Pagers for food distribution have already been invented!
