Diesmal Bauernfrühstück Vegan ,sehr gut ,nette Bedienung!!

Essen sehr Lecker und Preis - Leistung sehr gut. Nette und schnelle Bedienung. Ich komm gern wieder. Aber bei schönen Wetter eher Reservieren ich war kurz nach Eröffnung da und es war schon gut besucht.

Ein schöner Ort zum kurzen verweilen für Eis und Getränke ist gesorgt.

Essen Top, Bedienung Top, keine Kartenzahlung nicht mehr Zeitgemäß.

Diese Bewertung zu schreiben fällt mir nicht ganz leicht, denn hier liegen Licht und Schatten dicht beieinander. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön, die Speisekarte genau richtig dimensioniert und das Essen war wirklich lecker. Auch der Service startete anfangs absolut top. Wir hatten uns diese Lokalität für ein Klassentreffen ausgesucht, uns riesig auf das Wiedersehen gefreut und gehofft, den Abend bis zur angegebenen Schließzeit um 23:00 Uhr voll ausnutzen zu können. Doch genau das wurde leider zum Problem: Kurz nach 21:00 Uhr kassierte uns der bis dahin sehr freundliche Kellner ab, da seine Schicht endete. Er betonte jedoch, dass wir bei den Kollegen problemlos weiterbestellen könnten. Gegen 21:30 Uhr kam dann die Nachfolge-Bedienung – allerdings nur, um die bereits „letzte Bestellung“ aufzunehmen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren es noch 90 Minuten bis zur offiziellen Schließzeit. Ab diesem Moment fühlten wir uns leider nur noch unerwünscht. Da wir am Ende die letzten Gäste waren (vielleicht lag es am parallel laufenden Fußballspiel), wurde der subtile Druck, endlich zu gehen, immer größer. Punkt 23:00 Uhr wurden wir dann ziemlich resolut auf das Ende des Abends hingewiesen. Natürlich verstehe ich, dass das Personal einen langen, harten Arbeitstag hinter sich hat und den Feierabend herbeisehnt. Auf der anderen Seite hatten einige von uns eine sehr weite Anreise und wir wollten einfach einen entspannten Abend verbringen. Für einen solchen Anlass war die Location im Nachhinein vielleicht nicht die optimale Wahl. Trotz des ungemütlichen Ausklangs verdient das Essen und der anfängliche Service Lob. Dass die letzten 1,5 Stunden durch den spürbaren Rauswurfdruck und ein ständiges Rechtfertigungsgefühl überschattet wurden, war einfach extrem schade. Aufgrund der hohen Qualität von Küche und Ambiente gebe ich dennoch eine gute Bewertung und eine Empfehlung – in der Hoffnung, dass man beim nächsten Mal auch bis zum offiziellen Ende ein willkommener Gast sein darf.

Freundliche Servicekraft, schnell und. Koordiniert gearbeitet. Tolles Getränkeangebot an einem erholsamen kühlen Plätzchen. Tradition und das nächste Mal Probieren wir auch das gut aussehende Essen.

Freche Servicekraft, für die Raucher in der Gruppe keinen Aschenbecher bereitgestellt und sich geweigert einen zu holen.

Anständiges, leckeres Essen, extrem sympathische Atmosphäre udn eine wunderschöne Gegend und Architektur

Lecker gegessen, selbst Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. 👍 Sitzen im Freien mit Blick zur Saale. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Schönes Restaurant an der Saale. Essen war gut. Hatten die Leber... mit Kartoffelbrei und Apfelringen fand ich es persönlich besser als jetzt mit Bratkartoffeln ubd kleinen Apfelstücken. Ist aber Geschmackssache

Essen war mäßig, Portionen klein, das Personal unfreundlich. Schade. Das hätten sie besser machen können.

Wahnsinnig leckeres Essen, nur zu empfehlen. Würde euch aber raten (falls ihr nicht bestellt habt) recht pünktlich zur Öffnungszeit (12 bzw. 16 Uhr), da recht schnell viele Plätze besetzt sind.

Es zählt zu meinen Lieblingsorten. Man sitzt so gemütlich am Kamin mit Blick zur Saale. Der Chef und das Personal sind außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Bei klirrender Kälte sind wir im Felsen Pavillon eingekehrt und waren sehr angetan vom Ambiente . Die Bedienung, der Service und das Angebot sind super. Das Essen war 😋 lecker...auf jeden Fall wieder. DANKESCHÖN

Ich war seit sehr langer Zeit mal wieder im Felsen Pavillon......und ich bin sehr sehr positiv überrascht. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und richtig gemütlich......der Service sehr nett und freundlich.....und die Speisenkarte....suuuuper 👍🏻. Die Gerichte sind mega und schmecken sehr sehr gut und lecker. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch bei Euch.

Wir haben einen sehr angenehmen Abend mit leckerem Essen im Felsenpavillon verbracht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Speisen (Pasta und Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln) waren sehr lecker und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Der warme Glühwein und der hot Aperol waren ein schöner Abschluss. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet mit einem schönen Kamin und geschmackvoller Dekoration. Wir waren das erste Mal im Felsenpavillon, aber gewiss nicht das letzte Mal.

Delicious food at a reasonable price

So far, so good. The waitress was only there in casual clothes. It seemed a bit odd.

Beautiful river views, a varied menu, and large, delicious portions. It was disappointing to learn that they don't accept cards; there was no information about this. Payment is via PayPal only.

The food and location deserve 5 stars. Beautifully situated directly on the Saale River, with a pleasant ambiance. The menu was easy to read, with a good selection. The food was super delicious, tastefully presented, large portions, and hardly any waiting time. At first, the service was also very nice and friendly, but shortly after 8 p.m., things suddenly changed. We had a reservation for 6 people from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. However, shortly after 8 p.m., we were informed that ordering dessert was no longer possible because "the kitchen was already clean" and, after all, they had only been waiting for us. A short time later, we were told it was time for the last round of drinks, but by then we were already thirsty. All of our glasses were quickly cleared away, and one of our guests was even asked to finish theirs. We weren't the only guests who felt rushed and unwelcome. The neighboring tables were even moved apart, even though there were still guests sitting at them. Shortly before 9 a.m., we left the premises and immediately found ourselves, perplexed, standing in the dark with several other guests. The waitress immediately left. All in all, it's a real shame, as we were very impressed at first and then again when the food arrived. Unfortunately, all that's left is a bitter aftertaste and the feeling of having disturbed the staff's evening routine and not being welcome.

The waiter was super friendly. What wasn't nice was that at 8:35 p.m. we were asked if we wanted a last round of drinks, even though they were supposed to be open until 11 p.m. According to their own online information,

The food is always delicious, the staff friendly and attentive, and even though it was very busy, our larger group was served promptly. See you next time.

No card payments accepted. Unfortunately, only cash or PayPal. It's a shame, as it's beautifully located and makes a nice impression.

Very, very complicated from start to finish... We ordered a table with a parasol for 12 people (including 3 kids). Great-grandmother's 91st birthday* What we got was a table for maybe 8 people, not including the parasol we ordered. Ordering didn't go smoothly either, so we ultimately had to decide not to tip, which would normally have been around 10 to 15 euros. And we would have gladly given it to the service! The restaurant was very full, but we can and must still call it disorganization, which is unacceptable with a turnover of almost 300 euros. Orders were incorrectly recorded several times. * A special highlight that was downgraded here, what a shame!

Our reservation for a birthday party on Friday, August 15, 2025, which we had made in person with the restaurant a week in advance, was simply changed by the restaurant, and the reserved table was given to someone else. A young, blond employee announced this to us in a snippy and unfriendly tone upon arrival. Not a word of apology for making a duplicate reservation, or a request for understanding, etc.! After being moved twice—because she had mistaken the number of people—we finally had a seat and—thankfully—a different server. The young man somewhat salvaged the evening with his engaging, friendly demeanor.

The ambiance is truly lovely, and the staff always strives to accommodate every guest, even on very busy days. Despite the stress, the service was always very friendly. The food selection is plentiful, and the food was delicious.

The Felsenpavillon is beautifully situated on the banks of the Saale River. The ambiance is that of a pleasant beer garden, and the interior is quite nicely decorated, even if the smell of a kitchen is strong. The place was packed, and the waitress was very busy. The food was unfortunately rather disappointing. The cheese schnitzel, despite the confirmation when asked whether it was homemade, was frozen, as were the potato wedges, like almost everywhere in Halle. The schnitzel was okay, but nothing like the souffléd breading that's standard in Austria or Bavaria. It's not that difficult. The fried potatoes were boring, nothing special. The carbonara was like something you'd find in a student shared apartment, rather helplessly "refined" with cream. The prices are far too high for this – despite the use of numerous convenience products. It's impressive how much quality they can fill the place with in Halle. What only confirms this impression, however, is that they don't accept any card payments. Seriously, folks, it's 2025! There are groups sitting there with several hundred euros on their bill, and they're all supposed to arrive with a sack of silver coins like in the Middle Ages? Phew.

We just love coming here. The food and drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the people are always friendly.

Unfortunately, I can only give stars for the food. We had reserved a table for 15 people, and when we arrived, there were two reservations for ONE table. The other group was already there, so our table was taken. No server felt responsible enough to even explain the situation. So, despite the perfect weather, we had to go inside, where we were ignored for a long time. Only after we asked for drinks twice did someone come. The food was at least good and plentiful, which is why I wanted to take half my portion to go. Unfortunately, someone in the kitchen was too busy and threw away my food 🙈🤷‍♀️. For that, we got two beers as compensation 😁🍺

The location is very beautiful on the banks of the Saale River. Parasols provide ample shade. The drinks (shandy) were very good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the solyanka on offer. It was very greasy, thin in consistency, and only served with sliced ​​sausage. What kind of recipe is that? I experienced further disappointment when I went to the restrooms, which were very clean. Unfortunately, I find it incomprehensible that the entire counter was covered with used dishes.

I've been here several times; the food is delicious and the prices are fair. No card payments accepted, only PayPal with an additional fee. Something needs to be changed here.

I can't recommend it....the service is unfriendly...you have to wait until you are noticed to order...if I could, I would give it one star...I've never experienced anything like it...they don't even know whether you've paid or not...

When we arrived in a storm today for Children's Day, we took refuge in the small restaurant. What we quickly noticed was that the staff were overwhelmed. We waited 25 minutes before we even got a menu, and then another 30 minutes for our drinks, which were completely wrong, arrived. No one really knew who or where people had ordered what! It's a real shame, though. But it was my first and last time there. The female employee (blonde) just sat at the counter on her cell phone the whole time, even though customers were waiting for her. And the other men were more engaged in their conversations than anything else. All in all, waiting 55 minutes for a drink is unacceptable. There were eight people at our table. Everything else was nice, nice view, quiet, and well-kept.

The Felsenpavillon was quite busy for Mother's Day. We had reserved a table. Without it, we wouldn't have been able to get one. The portions are very generous. The staff will happily pack up whatever you don't finish and you can take it with you. It tastes excellent. Kudos to the chef. We'll be happy to come back. The staff are all very friendly and attentive.

It's a shame that you have to wait half an hour for a drink. Not to mention the food, you easily have to wait three quarters of an hour. This is certainly not due to the service staff, but rather to the organization and in the kitchen and the drinks served.

Very nice quiet location. We were at the university hospital and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat on the way back. Unfortunately no card payment was possible. Cash or Paypal only. Paypal charges a fee of 0.50 euros, but this doesn't even appear on the invoice and is only mentioned verbally when paying. There is also no indication on the card that Paypal charges a fee. Very unfortunate and not very professional. Therefore 2 stars deducted Food and service were otherwise top.

The location is not bad, they waited a long time for the waiter, I understand that almost all the places were filled, but even when I went inside to get a menu or order, I was told to wait. We took Schweineschnitzel “au four”, it was tasty and a large portion. The most unpleasant thing was that the check included a glass of wine, which they didn’t take, and since they were in a hurry to catch the train, they paid and ran, but they noticed it only after. So, check your receipts!

The Felsenpavillion is idyllically situated on the Saale River. Unfortunately, the service is very poor. A long wait for the first order, and after that, you're left to your own devices. We also waited almost an hour for the food. A real shame!

Very nice restaurant and nice staff. In front there is a hardly any traffic street and then the Saale, behind the restaurant a small path leads over hill and dale and then invites you to linger. Definitely recommended, but well attended when the weather is nice! Bring some waiting time.

All the group registered there, everything worked out. The food was very good, despite the 15 people, the food and drink came very quickly and tasted very good.

The atmosphere is very nice. The service was very unfriendly; unfortunately, please and thank you were not in the vocabulary. The food in the price-performance ratio is a clear minus.

In the case of the schnitzel au four ragout fin, the fried potatoes were half charred. You shouldn't offer that. The schnitzel was ok.

Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible, you have to plan for this in advance and have enough cash with you.

The food and service are great, but when the place is full the acoustics are very bad. Unfortunately, no one can do anything about it, but that's how it is. We found this very disturbing. And something should change in the payment methods!

A nice excursion restaurant with a beer garden. The food is ok, but I was disappointed with the medallions. They were just small schnitzels. Medallions are usually made from loin, briefly fried and not breaded. Otherwise everything was good.
