Mit Glück hatten wir einen freien Tisch gefunden und wurden - allerdings sehr freundlich - begrüßt mit 'es wird etwas dauern'. Stimmte nicht, die Wartezeit war völlig normal, das Essen sehr ordentlich und die Bedienung hat sich ein Bein ausgerissen. Beim nächsten Besuch in Halle kommen wir wieder.

Die Nudeln mit Tomatensauce waren bahnbrechend gut. Ohne Fleisch ein derartigen Gaumenschmaus zu veranlassen ist faszinierend.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal in einer Sackgasse. Die Preise sind angemessen und das Personal ist sehr freundlich (zumindest hatte ich bisher nur freundliches Personal).

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und insgesamt hat uns der Besuch gut gefallen. Das Restaurant macht optisch wirklich einiges her – sowohl innen als auch außen ist alles sehr schön gestaltet und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Besonders das Ambiente hat uns gefallen, da alles sehr gemütlich und hochwertig wirkt. Wir saßen draußen, was grundsätzlich sehr angenehm war. Zur Mittagszeit sollte man allerdings bedenken, dass man dort teilweise ziemlich direkt der Sonne ausgesetzt ist, da es nicht überall ausreichend Schatten gibt. Ich hatte das Biergulasch und war damit wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das Fleisch war zart, geschmacklich sehr gut abgestimmt und insgesamt ein wirklich leckeres Gericht. Man merkt, dass auf die Qualität der Speisen Wert gelegt wird. Die Preise sind allerdings schon eher im höheren Bereich, weshalb man auch entsprechende Erwartungen an Service und Gesamtpaket hat. Leider war die Bedienung bei unserem Besuch nicht besonders freundlich oder aufmerksam, was etwas schade war und den ansonsten positiven Eindruck ein wenig getrübt hat. Trotzdem hatten wir insgesamt eine schöne Zeit dort, vor allem wegen des guten Essens und des tollen Ambientes.

Sehr freundliche umd fleißige Bedienung. Waren mit 15 Freunden zu Besuch unf haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr gut. Empfehlen wir sehr gern weiter.

Wir hatten hier leider keine gute Zeit: Ambiente ist ganz nett - bei schönem Wetter netter Biergarten. Das Essen war sehr unterschiedlich - wir hatten zwei verschiedene Gerichte, das Gulasch mit Knödeln war ein Reinfall: Sowohl Fleisch als auch Knödel waren trocken und geschmacklos, die Biersauce völlig flüssig (aus meiner Sicht hatte das Gulasch viel zu wenig Schmorzeit). Was sich nach meiner Reklamation abspielte war dann aber enttäuschend: Nach einiger Zeit fragte ich, wann unsere Bedienung denn kommt, um die Reklamation abzuschließen - „Die hat schon Feierabend“ kam als Antwort. Auf die Frage, wie denn mit der Reklamation umgegangen wird, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das Gulasch völlig in Ordnung sei - es liegt an mir - so muss ein Schweinegulasch sein! Unglaublich, so schlecht habe ich mich lange nicht behandelt gefühlt….

Gute böhmische Küche in schönem Ambiente. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Große Auswahl an authentischen Speisen, Getränken und sehr leckeren Desserts. Für Kinder gibt es eine Extra-Karte, und kleine Ammenities.

Da wir nur zum Tanztee am 12.04.2026 waren kann ich das Essen nicht beurteilen. Was jedoch serviert wurde, war sehr ansprechend und roch verführerisch. Jedoch die Preise..........Gulasch mit Böhmischen Knödeln über 20€, großer Kaffee über 5€ (max. 4,50€ hätten auch gereicht oder ist es ein Sternerestaurant?! Und die "hausgemachte" Linonade fix und fertig aus der Flasche. Mmmm, bei "hausgenacht" hätte ich erwartet, dass diese vor Ort frisch zubereitet wird. Preis von 6,67€ scheint annehmbar. Nur wenn ich bedenke, dass die Hälfte Eiswürfel und 4 Zitronenstückchen sind, dann nicht mehr. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und sie leisten einen hervorragenden Job. Immerhin müssen sie sich durch die tanzende Menge schlängeln mit vollen Tabletts. Die Idee, hier für Ältere etwas geschaffen zu haben, finde ich großartig. Dieses Event kann ich weiterempfehlen. Es hat uns gut gefallen und wir kommen gern wieder.

Gut bürgerliches Essen. Häkt alles was es verspricht. Der Service war überragend. So viel Freundlichkeit, Spaß am Job und Gastfreundschaft habe ich selten erlebt. Ja, es gibt keine Sterneküche, aber das will ich dort nicht. Ich lecker essen in einem gemütlichen Ambiente und in guter Wirtshausgesellschaft. Und genau das bietet es. Extrem kinderfreundlich noch dazu. Danke für den tollen Abend. Selten einen so tollen Service erlebt.

Wir waren heute zu siebt zum Mittagessen dort. Drei von uns hatten Königsberger Klopse bestellt, doch nach etwa 10 Minuten kam die Kellnerin zurück und teilte uns mit, dass nur noch eine Portion verfügbar sei. Zwei Personen mussten sich kurzfristig etwas anderes aussuchen – das kann ich ehrlich gesagt nicht nachvollziehen, vor allem da die Bestellung bereits aufgenommen war. Das Essen an sich war lecker, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Der Service hingegen wirkte insgesamt etwas merkwürdig: kein Lächeln, keine Nachfrage, ob es geschmeckt hat, und auch keine Entschuldigung dafür, dass ein Teil der Bestellung nicht mehr verfügbar war. Da habe ich schon deutlich freundlicheren und aufmerksameren Service erlebt. Schade, denn das Essen hat eigentlich überzeugt – mit etwas mehr Herzlichkeit im Service wäre der Besuch deutlich angenehmer gewesen.

Wir haben das Wenzel ausgewählt, da meine Tante unter Zöliakie leidet. Sie war total begeistert, da nichts kontaminiert war und es ihr danach gut ging. Hatte sie schon anders erlebt. Und was uns auch total begeistert hat, wir hatten unsere Hunde dabei und sie bekamen frisches Wasser und Trockenfutter ohne Getreide! Ich muss sagen, einfach ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit tollen und sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Gerne wieder!

Essen war sehr lecker Portionen waren ausreichend gewesen. Preis Leistung stimmt auch überein. Essen schmeckt sehr frisch der Service ist auch vollkommen Inordnung gewesen. Anrufen zwegs Platz sollte man schon da es gut besucht ist. Eine Kundenkarte kann man auch erweben wodurch manche Speisen günstiger werden. Im Großen und ganzen ein gelungener Besuch.

Vier Mittagsgerichte zur Auswahl. Davon zwei mit der Kundenkarte, die sich online ruckzug beantragen ließ, sogar noch preiswerter. Reichhaltige und gute tschechische Küche dazu verschiedene tschechische Bier vom Fass zur Auswahl. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Essen war lecker, auf Grund der großen Anzahl

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war fantastisch. Das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Reservierung ist abends erforderlich.

Wer es tschechisch/ böhmisch mag, der ist hier genau richtig. In urigem Ambiente kannst du den Tag hervorragend ausklingen. Selbst, wenn Du keineb Alkohol trinkst, bekommst Du eine gute Auswahl an alkoholfreiern Bieren. Einziger Wermutstropfen - es ist ein wenig laut, um gute Gespräche führen zu können. Empfehlenswert für Gruppe, Pärchen oder Familie.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind riesig, dementsprechend ist der Lärmpegel. Wir saßen an Rand und das war okay. Die Auswahl des Essens ist überschaubar, jedoch ausreichend, und ich hatte den Leckerbissen - mega lecker und preislich okay. Der Wein allerdings ist recht teuer, 0,2 weit über 7 Euro und das jede Sorte. Der Service war sehr gut, die Toiletten sauber.

Essen schmeckt. Und das seit Jahren. Service normal, nicht außergewöhnlich, aber auch nicht schlecht. Hunde erlaubt, allerdings seit neuestem nur noch mit Wasser gegen Gebühr: 2 Näpfe Wasser wurden als „Hundemenü“ für 3,-€ abgerechnet. Es handelte sich um Leitungswasser. Also nichts exquisites und auch kein Hinweis auf Kosten erfolgte. Stimmung immer gut, man kann sich aber unterhalten. Zeit zwischen Bestellung und Servieren okay.

Sehr urig, deftige Küche, dafür überaus lecker! Service ist auf Zack, allerdings muss man bei voller Auslastung auch Wartezeiten in Kauf nehmen. Der Rinderbraten hatte ein bisschen viel Soße, ist aber kein Drama.

Gut bürgerlichen Essen Gutes Bier

The food (burger and fries) wasn't to our taste, and the portion was rather small for the price. The service was friendly and attentive. When the restaurant is full, the noise level is very high, and it's impossible to understand the people at the table. With my hearing aids, it was impossible to follow conversations.

There were three of us. The prices aren't cheap, but the food is tasty. I had a solyanka which, at over €8 for the portion size, I felt was too expensive, but it tasted good. The goulash with Bohemian dumplings was well-seasoned, although the meat content could have been a bit higher.

I'd like to add to my review from last year. This year we used the "Christmas Dinner to Go" service. It was simply fantastic. Delicious food, a huge portion, and unbeatable value for money. We highly recommend it, especially if you, like us, are hosting a lot of guests at home. I could never have managed it otherwise. So, thank you very much, and we'll definitely be back next time.

We were a group of 14 at Wenzel Halle. Overall, 12 of us really enjoyed our meal – the kitchen definitely has potential, and the atmosphere and concept are a good fit. Unfortunately, one thing marred the evening: two of our meals arrived freezing cold. Because there was no server around at the time, we didn't complain immediately – only when our plates were almost empty. Of course, we could have explained this to the team, but a professional approach would have been crucial. Instead of an apology, we were initially met with the question of why we hadn't said anything – and that seemed to be the end of the matter from the server's perspective. Unfortunately, the person affected was the one who had paid the entire bill. I then approached the server myself, expressed understanding for both sides, and asked for some small compensation, including an apology. Later, she said she couldn't offer a shot of schnapps, but would provide a coffee "if necessary." When we reiterated how cold the food was, we received more excuses than a genuine apology. In the end, nobody even wanted the coffee anymore. The bottom line: the food was mostly good, but there's definitely room for improvement in the guest service and the response to legitimate criticism. It's a shame – a simple "We're sorry" and a professional solution could have salvaged a lot.

The premises were very cold upon entering, as the heating was off. The venue was fully booked and yet still closed at 9 pm on Sundays. This is unnecessary during the Christmas season when many companies hold their celebrations. I certainly won't be returning to this establishment and wouldn't recommend it. It's a shame, really, as the food was good.

A visit to the Prague beer halls is always worthwhile. The selection of Czech dishes and drinks is very tasty and freshly prepared. The friendly service is particularly noteworthy.

A great restaurant if you like Czech food. As a fan of the Czech Republic, I always enjoy going there for a nice Czech beer and delicious bread dumplings.

Delicious food in a great atmosphere. If you're ever in Halle and appreciate good, solid cuisine, you should definitely pay this place a visit. High chairs are available. The restrooms are clean. There are special menus and entertainment for children. There's plenty of space, so you probably only need to make a reservation for late evenings.

We visited Restaurant Wenzel and were absolutely thrilled! The goulash was incredibly delicious – tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It was paired wonderfully with a really good beer. We especially appreciated how child-friendly everything was: the staff was warm and attentive, and there was even a play area where the children felt right at home. As a fan of the Wenzel Prager Bierstuben (Wenzel Prague beer hall), I wanted to try the place in Halle. I dined there with a friend and took advantage of the birthday special, which included one meal free, a free glass of sparkling wine, and a small beer. As usual, I ordered the large Bohemian knuckle of pork, and my friend ordered the roast beef. The Wenzel knuckle of pork was incredibly delicious, with a subtle hint of caraway and tender meat in a classic dark beer sauce with Bohemian dumplings and my choice of red cabbage. The dish was absolutely filling and, at €22.46 (with a customer card), still justifiable. The roast beef, consisting of two small slices smothered in sauce with dumplings, is really too expensive at €21.75. The service seemed brisk and friendly, and the waitresses and waitresses were quick. The ambiance is very rustic and decorated in an old-Czech style. Unfortunately, the restaurant closes relatively early, so you're asked to pay at 10:30 p.m. Otherwise, I was very satisfied and would gladly return.

Unfortunately, disappointing... Received lukewarm food - the suggestion to reheat it was neither tasty nor professional. Received no food - not even a beer as a token of appreciation or apology. My first and definitely last visit!!! What a shame!
