Location with a great location on the Rhine - 5 points for that. Service: Exhausting self-service - you have to queue several times to get drinks or food. Buy a coupon, then drink and then food. Could it be solved more ergonomically? The serving staff were sometimes very annoyed and therefore anything but friendly. Children are not welcome. You're probably afraid that the parents won't pay attention and the kids will fall into the Rhine. Bratwurst and currywurst are not recommended. Obviously warmed up and instead of grillcross, limp when you bite into it. The worst, the curry sauce, makes you eat it! It's a shame, because so much more could be done with this location. If you want to enjoy the good Ingelheim brewery beer served there, you are much better off at the Goldener Engel when it comes to service and food. Overall 2 stars, but only for the great location!

Yes, wonderful view of the Rhine, priceless location

This place is amazing! On a bike trip I broke down whilst at this establishment and they could not do enough to help us. They even let me park my bike on one of their static boats so it would be safe until we could recover the bike the next day. The currywurst was epic and everything was just sublime. The location is exceptional next to the ferry across the Rhine. 100% visit this amazing place.

This place is absolutely the best place to eat and have a drink on the river Rhine! Not only that but we broke down and they phoned every bike mechanic they knew to help us out. I can't reccomend them highley enough. They are all absolute diamonds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The summer garden is right next to the ferry dock in Ingelheim. A really great spot on a beautiful summer day. The selection of food and drinks is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, the employees are very friendly and accommodating. The summer garden is definitely worth a visit.

Given the temperatures, it's a nice opportunity to relax right on the Rhine, enjoy your beer and have a bite to eat. Addendum 8/14/24: The staff at the checkout and the drinks counter are very friendly, the man in the food counter sometimes behaves like the proverbial ax in the woods. Completely hectic and annoyed, he shouts at waiting customers with the words "next, next, next... zack zack zack!" to. Sorry - even if it's a beer garden... THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!

Since only self-service, therefore only 3 stars for service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would give it 5 stars. Beer from the Goldener Engel Ingelheim brewery and Äppelwein are my favorite drinks there. Very nicely laid out tables, also suitable for larger groups. It's great that it's located on the pier and has a view of the Rhine. Located right next to the Ingelheim ferry pier to Oestrich-Winkel in Hesse 👍

Super great ambience right on the Rhine :-). Food is a bit expensive but good. There were two musicians playing as so-called background music, we really liked that :-).

The location on the Rhine is great. The currywurst was reasonably priced. And the lemonade is delicious, but calling it homemade is a bit of an exaggeration because only syrup is used. But they definitely taste very good!

The location directly on the Rhine is very nice. You have to get your own food and drink in advance. The quality of the food is okay and is about the same as a snack bar. The prices are also completely reasonable. There is also a toilet on site.

We drank a delicious homemade lemonade here in a lovely atmosphere. You can make yourself comfortable on a beach lounger in the sand or take a seat at a table.

The summer garden is located on the pier directly on the Rhine. Very well attended and very full when the weather is good. Self-service drinks and food, unfortunately not that cheap and there is still room for improvement in terms of taste.

You sit with a view of the Rhine. When it comes to serving food, it would be good if one person didn't have to do everything alone, but instead one person stood at the grill and the other finished the orders.

Compared to "Bauer Schorsch", the Ingelheim summer garden has a much nicer ambience and also has its own flair. Prices for food and drink are OK. We always enjoy coming here.

A must when you're here. We travel from Leipzig once or twice a year to visit the family. The summer garden is simply a must for us when we are here.

Really beautifull. But when the weather is good, it's very crowded and you have to wait in line for a long time to get something to drink or eat.

Mediocre and lazy service, no bathroom, infrastructure could improve. Go to Heidenfahrt instead.

Nice beer garden adjacent to the river port of Ingelheim. You pay at the checkout, then go and get what you ordered. There is a grill kitchen and a drinks counter offering, among other things, a local craft beer, Golden Engel.

You have to come early otherwise there will be a shortage of places. But a beach ambience with food and drinks at moderate prices rounds it off. I like coming here.

A bit very German, but otherwise ok. For me there is nothing except french fries or the pretzel. Vegan food is a foreign concept for such establishments. There's plenty of alcohol and when I think about it, I was almost the youngest - a boomer beer garden for cyclists. Been there again. The view of the Rhine is just great. But there are no animal-free alternatives even for coffee. The location on the Rhine is of course great. The Äppler was tasty. Therefore still 4*

Location Location Location .... In this case clearly the most important criterion. At the end of the harbor, this summer garden with a view of the Rhine and Rheingau is a great location. Nicely protected with parasols. Then you have to live with the fact that today's process is optimized for fast throughput. First queue in a long queue to buy stamps, then queue again in two stalls to pick them up. Well, we then ate cake to save ourselves the second round of waiting. It was good, and in that respect it was a nice afternoon. But in terms of service and the higher price there, there is definitely room for improvement.

I think a sausage should be grilled straight away and not pre-brown and then quickly put on the grill again, our currywurst was cold :-( that could be better! On the left on the grill there are raw sausages, probably as decoration, fries and drinks were delicious, the cutlery is not washed in cutlery baskets, just poured on top of each other in the dishwasher, probably due to time constraints. I will go there again :-)

There is always a space available for me and my companion. High prices but also high quality. Always my pleasure.

Nice excursion destination by bike, right on the Rhine with a view of the ferry. You first have to have the ordering and payment system explained to you. Pay first, then with a voucher for the food issue, then with a drinks voucher for the drinks issue. A bit complicated 🙃

Great, a beer garden in the middle of the Rhine, accessible directly via the entrance to the ferry towards Östrich-Winkel. Lots of parking on site. There is everything that is needed. A great view, a few regional dishes such as Spundekäs, sausage salad, a giant bratwurst or currywurst and beef sausage. French fries. Salad. And good wine from Wasem as well as other drinks, including coffee and sweets.

Gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal

Der schöne Biergarten direkt am Rhein mit Blick auf den Rheingau gelegen liegt also zwischen Rhein und einem altem Industriehafen. Hier fährt auch die Rheinfähre Richtung Oestrich ab. Am Wochenende ist der Biergarten bei schönem Wetter sehr voll. Die Parkplätze unmittelbar am Biergarten und in 300 Meter Entfernung sind recht voll auch wegen den Sparziergängern und Radfahrern, die hier Ihre Autos abstellen. Man muss sehr lange an der Biergarten- Kasse anstehen, um seine Bestellungen aufzugeben. Anschließend steht man noch mal sehr lange zum Abholen der Getränke am Getränkestand und dann entsprechend lange an einem separaten Kontainer der Essensausgabe an. Bei der Auswahl von Essen zum Beispiel Bratwurst oder Spiesbraten mit Pommes oder manchmal auch Kartoffelsalat darf man keine Restaurantqualität erwarten. Es ist ja ein Biergarten und kein Gourmet Restaurant. Wäre der hohe Zeitaufwand zur Verköstigung nicht vorhanden, dann könnte ich 4 Sterne vergeben.

Reizvoller Ort mit Rheinblick. Ein Besuch ist immer interessant.

Typischer Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung. Alles, auch das Essen, geht meist ziemlich flott. Auch das Abräumen und Reinigen der Tische passiert geräuschlos und schnell. Zum einkehren nach einer Radtour oder Spaziergang am Rhein unvergleichlich. Sehr zu empfehlen. Bei schlechtem Wetter oft geschlossen.

Direkt am Rhein gelegen. Selbstbedienung. Essen und Getränke Buden getrennt voneinander. Erst wird bestellt und bezahlt mit den Kassenbons geht man dann sich das Essen und die Getränke holen. Das Ambiente am Rhein ist sehr schön, nur tauscht den hässlichen Zaun aus.

Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde! Sehr sauber Dank der fleißigen Frauen, die dafür sorgen!!! Auch für den Hunger ist gesorgt, die beiden Frauen sind super! Nur die Chefin an der Kasse könnte etwas freundlicher sein….

Die Örtlichkeit ist recht nett. Man sitzt schön am Rhein, doch manche Gäste haben wohl vergessen, daß Corona ist. Vor allem die Senioren, Alter 75+ benehmen sich unmöglich. Masken entweder gar nicht auf, oder falsch angezogen, Nase frei, Sicherheitsabstand, was ist das ? Dann ist aufgefallen, daß manche Gäste so dreist sind und sich zu Fremden an den Tisch setzen. Dieses wäre uns auch heute beinahe geschehen, aber wir haben diese abgewiesen, klaro, als Risikopatienten. Finde es schon dreist, überhaupt zu fragen. Haben die vergessen, daß wir Corona haben ? Scheinbar. Das Essen, ist je nachdem was man möchte von gut bis ausreichend von der Qualität. Die Pommes meißtens nicht ganz kross, weil alles schnell schnell gehen muß, genauso wie bei den Würsten, die sind dann schon oft mal nur lauwarm. Der Flammkuchen, es gibt 2 zur Auswahl ist total lecker und empfehlenswert, genauso wie der Spundekäse. So geht das immer weiter. Es gibt also schon leckeres. Man ist stets bemüht.Die Getränke könnten etwas günstiger sein, aber gut, es ist Corona und da muß wieder einiges reingeholt werden. Ich hoffe nur, daß man nach Corona auch mal wieder die Preise zurück fährt. Jedoch, sollte mal das Ordnungsamt die Gäste abchecken und denen saftige Strafen verabreichen, denn viele sind sehr Grenzwertig. Dafür kann aber die Besitzerin nichts. Hinweisschilder sind gut aufgestellt, vor allem am Eingang, jedoch ignorieren viele diese trotzdem gerne. Alles in allem, gehen wir sehr gerne dort hin. Die Örtlichkeit ist schön.

Es ist zwar schön am Rhein zu sitzen aber nicht an diesem Ort. Ruhig und idyllisch finden wir es dort nicht. Ruhe findet man da eher woanders.

Man muss die Getränke und das Essen vorher an der Kasse bezahlen und dann von den verschiedenen Ständen selbst abholen und zu den Tischen tragen. Mann sitzt auf einfachen Stühlen auf unebenem Sanduntergrund. Bei schönem Wetter mit Blick auf den Rhein ist es trotzdem ein wunderschönes Plätzchen. Wer ein Getränk nachbestellen möchte, muss sich wieder in die Essensschlange einreihen. Aber da ich in jedem Fall von dem köstlichen, frisch gezapften und naturtrüben Hellen von der Ingelheimer Engelbauerei (woanders heißt das Kellerbier) ein 2. Glas trinke, kaufe ich den Bon halt gleich. Die grobe Bratwurst ist bemerkenswert gut und zu meiner Überraschung der Flammkuchen auch. Diesmal war der Flammkuchen mit Lachs und Garnelen belegt. (Lachs-Stückchen durchgegart, die Eismeergarnelchen wenig schmackhaft, der Flammkuchen selbst hervorragend, wenn auch schon etwas abgekühlt.

Leider belebt Konkurrenz das Geschäft nicht. Getränke zu warm, Speisen eher unter dem Durchschnitt, Freundlichkeit/Service - na ja… - da kann man es sich in Heidenfahrt am Rhein besser gehen lassen. Vielleicht sollten die Betreiber mal einen Betriebsausflug dorthin machen.

Nach einem Spaziergang mit dem Hund ist es einfach schön den Abend mit einer Weinschorle und einer Bratwurst ausklingen zu lassen. der einzig nachteil ist das man erst Bons holen muss damit man was bestellen kann das macht echt keinen Spaß

Seit Jahren das gleiche mit gleicher Qualität. Schöne Location, laues Essen, gute Getränke. Selbstbedienung und ständige Suche nach einem vernünftigen Platz.

...kommt vom Bräter und geht gar nicht. Lasst die Finger von der Bratwurst und nehmt lieber ein Stück Kuchen. Für SB sind die Preise saftig, und die Organisation mit Bons ist echt schwach. Über einen schönen Tag am Rhein entscheidet hier nur das Wetter. Die Lokalität wird durch die Gastronomie leider abgewertet. Für ein Getränk bei der Fahrradtour kann man einkehren.

Der Platz direkt am Rhein ist grundsätzlich super schön. Insbesondere kurz vor Sonnenuntergang, leider aber hat alles nachgelassen. Das Ambiente, das Essen und das Publikum. Schade denn man könnte viel aus dem Platz machen.Deswegen nur noch 3 Sterne.

Topp Preis Leistugsverältnis. Das Essen kam schnel und war reichhaltig, das Personal freundlich und Zuvorkommend :-)
