Franconian hospitality meets cozy beds, clean rooms and a great pool. We just didn't like the food that much

Were there for 2 nights during the trade fair in Nuremberg. Great room, very spacious, everything you need. Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The choice of food in the restaurant could be a little larger, including the side dishes. We didn't use the wellness area. All in all a nice relaxing stay. Only recommended.

Forsthaus Hotel in Fürth has a lovely setting nestled in the woods, which provides a peaceful escape from city noise. Being surrounded by nature is certainly a highlight, making for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. However, in my opinion, the hotel’s best years are behind it. Although it continues to be expanded, it no longer meets the standards I would expect for a modern, accessible stay. As a wheelchair user, I found navigating the hotel to be quite inconvenient. Reaching my room required taking two different elevators and covering a considerable distance through corridors, which felt like more of a hassle than it should. For anyone with mobility concerns, this layout may be frustrating, especially with luggage. The breakfast offerings, too, seemed to have lost some of their former appeal. While acceptable for a short stay of one or two nights, the quality and variety didn’t match what I had previously experienced at Forsthaus. There are likely more interesting alternatives in the nearby area that offer better value. Another thing to consider is that the early spring weather adds a slight chill to the experience, especially being in a forested area. This might be less of an issue in warmer months, when the natural setting can be better enjoyed. Overall, while Forsthaus offers a charming location, it might not be the best choice for longer stays or for those requiring easier accessibility. I would recommend it for a brief stay if you’re primarily looking for a quiet spot, but with some good alternatives nearby, you might find a better fit elsewhere.

Nice hotel with a great location on the edge of the forest. Our junior suite was very spacious and had a good view from the terrace. Breakfast buffet was rich. There was a beer garden with a nice playground around the corner.

A very nice hotel with everything you need. Rooms, food (breakfast/dinner in the restaurant) and service are really recommendable 👍🏻 The 5th star would be given if there were a few smaller amenities. As an example, a small water bar in the spa/pool area so you can stay there longer.

Super friendly staff throughout the house. Rooms very small, especially if you travel with a dog. Bathroom also very small.

Our two nights were great with children in one room, everything was available. We had skipped room service and my wife was able to feast in the bar for free with a voucher. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Great staff

A very nice hotel in the middle of the Fürth city forest, yet only a few minutes from the motorway access road. What should be highlighted is the very pleasant and courteous service! The hotel with staff to make you feel completely comfortable!

Very quiet location in the forest, very good and rich breakfast. Very large wellness area with a sauna, swimming pool and sports facilities.

staff at the reception were kind, informative and helpful. the room was beautiful and clean with everything you need. the only negative is that the steam room wasn’t working when we visited and no one let us know prior to us going to the spa.

A well-located hotel for those who want to hear the peace of the forest, friendly staff and delicious food and various drinks.

We came across the hotel when we stopped there on the way to Italy. Since then we have been there several times and now drive the 6 hours there just to spend a few days in this hotel. The atmosphere is wonderfully familiar, the staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms are very nice, the suites are luxurious and the wellness area with pool is simply great! It's very clean, the food is really good and there is an extensive breakfast buffet. This has now become our favorite holiday destination in Germany! The hotel is also located right next to the forest, with great walking paths, a beer garden and a playground. Dogs are welcome, as are children. It really doesn't get any better!

I've stayed in a few hotels for work and I have to say, I liked it here the best ☺️. Of course the beautiful location on the one hand, the great rooms, but the overall package was just great. Great service, nice staff (greetings go out to Rafael and Tasso), as well as the sumptuous breakfast and the really pleasant, relaxing time. Keep it up 👌

A beautiful top hotel with many international guests. There are enough parking spaces available. Service at reception friendly and always helpful, our room with air conditioning! A pleasure in summer. You can exercise undisturbed in the fitness room, the pool leaves nothing to be desired, and I can't say anything about the sauna. The food was great both for breakfast (individually delicious omelet) and in the restaurant. In the evenings there is also sometimes a buffet where the chefs show off what they can do. The location is also pleasant, on the edge of the forest, which is the starting point for walks, working or cycling. I can only recommend this hotel!

A really great atmosphere, furnished with great attention to detail. The rooms are very modern and comfortably furnished, the breakfast was great. There was always someone there if I had any questions. The quiet location right on the edge of the forest is great, perfect for recovering and relaxing. Fitness and spa area can be used. Unreservedly recommended.

Very large and very beautiful structure, near Nuremberg and immersed in the greenery of the forest (this however involves the presence of mosquitoes). Very good breakfast, plentiful and varied, nothing was missing. Very kind, helpful and friendly staff. Big and nice pool and gym. In the room we found a kit for our dog!! As for the room, it was not very clean unfortunately, we found dead mosquitoes on the walls and the curtains and chairs gave the impression of something old and not well kept. There was no electrical outlet near one side of the bed. There was no kettle in the room. There was an area to put the suitcase, the safe and the mini fridge with a free bottle of water and a chocolate, towels and bathrobes. Comfortable bed and pillow (1 pillow only). In the bathroom, the drains in both the shower and the sink did not work well and there was also a very unpleasant smell. We reported this to reception and they were very kind to give us another room, very nice, clean and spacious, equipped with every comfort!! The large and spacious bathroom with shower, ample space to put your suitcase and store your stuff, safe, bathrobes, towels, coffee maker and a free bottle of still water. Very comfortable bed and pillows (2 pillows, so choice). Here too there was no power socket near one side of the bed and there was no mini fridge. In summary, the structure is truly very beautiful, both in terms of the external spaces and the internal spaces. There is also ample parking and a children's play area.

We stayed at the hotel for three days while passing through and were more than satisfied. The location of the hotel is beautiful and the super nice and attentive staff more than round off the positive overall impression. Kitchen and breakfast leave nothing to be desired. A visit to the bar in the evening is also recommended. The selection of cocktails and other drinks is remarkable. In summary, the house is an absolute recommendation. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

This year I traveled alone for the first time with my three children. We were looking for a hotel near the Playmobil FunPark. What can I say, something better couldn't have happened to the children and me! The hotel is beautifully located next to the forest, so the children could let off steam perfectly. There is a playground at the restaurant, so dinner was never a problem and I was able to enjoy the delicious food in peace. The rooms are modern and can be darkened easily. The pool is perfect for everyone, even with outside loungers. Everything is extremely well maintained and the staff is as child-friendly as I have ever experienced in very few hotels. When we were shocked to discover at home that one of our beloved cuddly toys had been forgotten, all it took was a phone call and little Badi was back a few days later. I am more than thrilled and will definitely visit the forester's house again.

Absolutely recommended, a trip to this beautiful hotel is worth it for young and old! We were particularly impressed by the commendable, family-friendly manner we were treated to. Due to the illness of one of our children, we had to leave one night earlier than planned. This was not a problem for the hotel team and was taken care of immediately. We were able to check out without any problems, without any additional costs and were not charged for the night we left earlier! We are incredibly excited and grateful for so much understanding. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and is located in a great, green area in the forest. We'll definitely be back. All the best to the entire team.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights this week. All I can say is it was fantastic. Sauna great and clean, pool perfect, the hotel can't do anything for loud parents with children. Food was also very good, I can't comment on breakfast because I didn't use it. It's a shame that the employees go around the corner to smoke and the fog drifts up through the open windows and the cigarettes are then simply flicked away. Ashtrays would be appropriate for employees. Otherwise great and I'll definitely be back.

The Hotel Forsthaus is a wonderful hotel where all guests get their money's worth. As an athlete, I have everything my heart desires there, fitness, sauna and swimming pool, great forest routes next door in the city forest. Excellent service, whether reception, hotel management, café/restaurant or even the room staff - everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating, making it easy for you to feel very comfortable. Towels/sauna towels, bathrobe…everything is there - perfect. Top washing lotion/shampoo in every room shower or in the spa area - simply perfect. It's not a long walk from the motorway to the hotel. There are enough parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. I will always come back and can only recommend it to everyone, whether it's a trip, a short break/vacation or just because, it's fantastic there! I'm really looking forward to seeing you again at the hotel.👏😀

Location itself is very nice, unfortunately the hotel doesn't use it. The service was subpar. We were there with a larger group, drinks were forgotten, billing was incorrect, glasses were left lying around for a long time. The taps in the guest toilets didn't work. The food from the grill buffet wasn't particularly good either. Finished products, eat partly overcooked and cold. Price-performance ratio is not right here at all. We really imagined it differently.

Excellent hotel with every luxury. Rooms a bit on the small side, but you don't notice that when you sleep. Outside you will be stung by mosquitoes... but the sprays are ready for you on the counter!

The Hotel Forsthaus Nürnberg-Fürth is in an idyllic location on the edge of the forest, but still close to the center. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The hotel offers a family atmosphere. Equipped with a great indoor pool, a nice bar and top rooms/suites, with good food, nothing is left to be desired. This is our third time at this hotel and we will enjoy a wonderful stay there twice more this year. There is probably no hotel that we would recommend more than this one. Everything is just right here if you want to relax for a few days. At this point a big thank you to the entire hotel team.

We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed in the junior suite for 1 night. The room was clean and a great size. The bottles in the minibar were included in the room rate. The pool is relatively small, but everything is clean! Towels and bathrobes were provided. Unfortunately, the sauna was full, so we can't say anything about that. The entire hotel is furnished in dark wood and has beautiful decorations everywhere, everything is very harmonious. The reception was very friendly and accommodating in the afternoon and morning. The breakfast was great! The selection simply leaves nothing to be desired. We will come back in any case!

Trade fair in Nuremberg, can't get a room, so look in the area. Luckily we found this nice and well located hotel. 20 minutes to the fair, that's fine. Nice rooms, spa and pool can be used. The breakfast was rich and tasty. Service was great, mentioned when checking in that I had forgotten the charging cable for my cell phone, no problem, it could be borrowed directly when checking in. The location of the hotel is great, nice and quiet, but still has great motorway connections. We would be happy to come back at any time, at the latest for the next trade fair.

The hotel is beautifully located in the green, right on the edge of the forest. The staff was always friendly. No matter whether at the reception, at breakfast or at dinner. The wellness area is sufficient. The rooms are modern and friendly furnished. The only drawback, there is no refrigerator in the room. The reason for this is out of love for the environment. But there is a capsule machine in the rooms, so you could now discuss which is less environmentally friendly. The plastic capsules or the electricity for a mini refrigerator, which is already produced in a very environmentally friendly way.

Amazing place w a lot of stuff to do! Perfect for hike and cycling w a family, surrounded with beautiful forest. Have sauna and heated pool. Good food and drinks in restaurant and bar. Play ground for kids. Too !!!!

We stayed at the forester's house over Pentecost with 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. It was a wonderful stay. The location in the middle of nature is fantastic, the design of the interior is perfectly tailored to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. The forester's house also scores points with its plentiful and very tasty breakfast. The Forsthaus also has a beer garden, a playground and not to forget the indoor pool with sauna and fitness studio. I think nothing is left to be desired here. We will come back in any case.

Very nice hotel with an equally great terrace. What doesn't work at all is the service there. You are not greeted or noticed. We went to the counter twice and asked for drinks. Then the waiter came. A few times people walked past our table, after about 15 minutes, I took the liberty of asking if we were being served. But the conversation between each other seems to be working. You could achieve significantly more sales here. The crowning glory last time was the loveless salad, which was always great before. Very unfortunate

Basically I don't even know where to start. Best with location. It couldn't be greener and yet so close to the city. The hotel has been very well modernized but has not lost its original charm. The whole concept is very coherent. The service is very courteous and the employees are all extremely friendly. The meeting rooms are very well equipped. The wellness area was also very nice and clean. The food is also worth mentioning. As are the clean and well-equipped rooms. The Hotel Forsthaus Nuremberg is really highly recommended @ I'd love to come back!

Very nice place for seminars. Definitely a great place to stay overnight because it's right on the edge of the forest and there's no traffic. The area is wonderful for walking in the forest

Great hotel with a nice wellness area. Very warm and informative welcome. You immediately feel comfortable. Nice spacious room with a new bathroom area. Particularly high bed with comfortable mattress. Great pool with a feel-good factor in the sauna. The bar is also highly recommended. The bartender Max is very nice and sociable and, above all, he mixes excellent cocktails. Since this hotel is only an hour away from us, we will definitely stop by again spontaneously in the winter months. Unfortunately the restaurant is not recommended. Our dinner was borderline. However, the service in the restaurant is nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a disaster for us. My wife and I were very disappointed here and left almost without anything to eat. We didn't expect something like that in such a great hotel. Next time we stay we will simply book without breakfast.

Almost every year we go to the Hotel/Restaurant Forsthaus with the whole family for Christmas brunch. This year also at Easter lunch - we are always very satisfied! Great food with a fine selection of dishes, very nice ambience and of course not to forget, excellent service in the restaurant. Can only be recommended ;) We'll always be happy to come back - thank you very much :)

Very nice hotel in a best location. I was here for both business and pleasure. The meeting rooms used for business were very good and the associated service (reception, technology, break meals, lunch) was extremely professional. The location also invites you to stay afterwards for a casual business talk. Privately, I used both the restaurant and the attached beer garden with the family. The seating is very nice, the selection is very good, the food is high quality and the staff is extremely friendly, including the children. There is a nice playground in the beer garden and you can find both sun and shade. I really enjoy coming here!

Ideal for our 3 - generation weekend. Playground for children, wellness and gym for the grown-ups, running in the forest - all in or directly at the hotel. Very dedicated staff, great food, breakfast buffet could be improved in terms of quality. Sustainability is very important - great!!

A fantastic stay at the Hotel Forsthaus! The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The restaurant offered an exquisite selection of dishes, all deliciously prepared. The breakfast buffet was varied and rich. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Overall an excellent experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a first class stay.

Wonderful location, great outdoor area, spacious children's playground, in the middle of the forest, but still Nuremberg! Good motorway connections.

Nice hotel with an upscale atmosphere. Still family friendly, the restaurant has a children's menu and the staff is very friendly to the children. The sauna is included, as is the swimming pool. Everything was very well maintained. The bed is nice and big and the room is also spacious. There are shutters and air conditioning in the room. Good facilities with coffee machine, water, hairdryer and towels, care products from Rituals.

I am absolutely thrilled. Since I stay in 4 star hotels throughout the southern region 2 days a week, I am really excited to say that this hotel is a 10/10 in terms of value for money. There are more children there during the holidays and that's exactly what I think is nice. Child-friendly hotels inspire me even more as a family man. I'll be back.

More like 3*, not a wellness hotel as advertised, but a family hotel, quite loud, etc. - but the staff is great. Food overpriced, quality/price/performance is not right here (everything is homemade according to the staff, but according to the menu there are dyes in the salad, the numbers go up to No. 16, in the menu the legend only goes up to No. 15, it doesn't sound homemade and it didn't taste good either not so good, raw egg white in the salad even though the yolk was hard boiled/perhaps not worked properly?) 21€ for a burger, 7.50€ for a soda that consists of water and a syrup... No attention to the details, it I think a lot of savings are made at the expense of the 4* charm. Great for families, unsuitable for couples/wellness/rest. We were given a coffee as an apology for the condition of the room (see pictures). Double room, but only 1 glass of water, a chocolate… Maybe a single room? No towels in the spa area (the room heaters don't get warm, the towels stay wet), no teas, etc., no tables next to the loungers, no separate times for children/relaxation. The concept is not obvious. It lacks a bit of structure. There is a lot of unused potential. Location and surroundings perfect. The breakfast buffet is great. However, we would recommend eating outside and having a drink (we had a top restaurant outside with truffles and fresh 3 courses for 40€, cocktail, water and espresso on top for 65€). Bar was occupied by children every evening because there are snacks there (could they be served somewhere else?) All in all we can therefore only give the hotel 3*. We actually had a more detailed review with better explanations, but it was too long for Google (usually we give each category stars and calculate the average and explain this in more detail for constructive criticism, but this is difficult to do due to the limited number of words, which is why it is so short But: location 4, rooms 3, hotel 3, staff 5, restaurant 2.5, bar 4, breakfast 4, spa 3, general 3, price/performance in the hotel 3

Positive: - Location - Price - Room service - Bathroom - Cleanliness Negative: - no space for suitcases in the room. - Mattresses appear to be very old as they are partially dented. - Sink so high that a stool is required for children, which unfortunately is not available in the room. - Rooms very small. - only one chair for 4 people in the room. - YouTube and other apps in smart TV do not work. - no bathrobes for children. - no slippers for the spa area. - no bag for spa equipment in the room. - only 2 towels for the spa area for 4 people. - No possibility to exchange towels in the spa area or to take additional ones. - The price-performance ratio in the restaurant is not right at all. Small portions for a lot of money. (But it tasted good, no criticism of the quivers) Conclusion: Better to increase prices by 5% and eliminate the deficiencies. The hotel is well on its way to becoming a top hotel. The booking rating of 8.5 is a bit too high for my taste, realistically it's more like 8.0 to 8.2.

You can hike & you can get anywhere quickly HOTEL 3 Old & new combined. Fits well together & is comfortable. We don't agree whether we rate the hotel as a 4* or better 3* hotel. We travel a lot & compared to what you know about 4*, it doesn't feel like it. That's probably because it's a kids' hotel and the focus is elsewhere. It's a fun hotel for the family. The hotel makes a mistake. a well-groomed impression. It's a shame that you notice that savings are being made everywhere. Maybe that's why it doesn't feel like a 4*. We wouldn't come back again as just a couple. The relaxation factor is missing too much ROOM 3 Room seems like a single room because of the details: 1 glass for 2, a chocolate, 3 pillows (one cannot sit comfortably), only 1 socket on the bed side. Room not that clean. There are bathrobes on the dusty counter. No slippery slopes… which is standard at a spa. We were surprised about the sneezing, there was also dust on the headboard, so we wiped it first STAFF 5 Staff great & in a good mood despite a lot of stress (family celebrations/sick staff) RESTAURANT 2-3 Candle Light booked & canceled after the 1st visit. It was just ok, not up to the standard we were used to from 4* hotels. The Cordon Bleu was fried, the Potato Salad Vinegar & Salad was with raw egg white (the poached egg was done, yolk solid, so it is inexplicable why there was raw egg in the salad). Additions on the menu that went up to number 16, the legend only went up to 15. There was coloring in my salad? That's why we couldn't believe it was fresh - if it was, it lacked quality or craftsmanship. All in all, the food is ok, for kids anyway. The manager (?) was super nice BAR 4 Bar is nice, bartenders are great & drinks are delicious. Had to wait in the reception area because the bar was occupied by raging kids because there were snacks there and the kids were hungry (kids don't really belong in a bar, snacks could simply be outsourced) BREAKFAST 4 Great selection, with sparkling wine & nice ambience. The employee said we should come at 7. The first time there at 9am. You have to be aware that there are children at every table and they are loud SPA 3 Play paradise for kids. The facility is beautiful. You can find relaxation at the right times. E.g. 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. We asked if there were teas or something similar at the pool - that's what we know - the answer was: Glass is not allowed... we know it with 2 GO cups or something similar. You notice that you don't think any further, there are no towels and no tables next to the loungers. Surprising because the spa is also booked from outside... I wouldn't use it like that. INSG 3 Top for families, not for work/couples/rest. Lots of untapped potential. Lack of concept. Spa? Family? Business? Too many cooks spoil the broth. Structure would help. E.g. child-free times at the pool, then the wellness factor would be fulfilled. No attention to detail, e.g. 2 water glasses in a double room, changing seat covers with holes... My partner has the feeling that because you book with Travelcircus you have a single room that hasn't been cleaned (thick layer of dust). Lots of positive aspects, beneficial for kids. We wouldn't want to stay here again if we didn't have kids of our own PRICE/PERFORMANCE3 3 nights about 120/night. It's ok, unfortunately you compare. 5 drinks + small plate (90€) with cheap sausage/cheese, in Bavaria you expect great snacks. Burgers for €21. One has the feeling that savings are being made/only the bare minimum is implemented. Nothing whole/half. Price/performance disappointing, which prevents us from testing more. Therefore no massage/eating out. The prices/night are ok if you don't expect a spa but a kids hotel. Bar prices reasonable, bar food too expensive. The food is of high quality, compared to expectations. d. Prices, not convinced. Total 3.22 stars, stay until 03/31/24

The relaxation factor is missing too much ROOM 3 Room seems like a single room because of the details: 1 glass for 2, a chocolate, 3 pillows (one cannot sit comfortably), only 1 socket on the bed side. Room not that clean. There are bathrobes on the dusty counter. No slippery slopes… which is standard at a spa. We were surprised about the sneezing, there was also dust on the headboard, so we wiped it first STAFF 5 Staff great & in a good mood despite a lot of stress (family celebrations/sick staff) RESTAURANT 2-3 Candle Light booked & canceled after the 1st visit. It was just ok, not up to the standard we were used to from 4* hotels. The Cordon Bleu was fried, the Potato Salad Vinegar & Salad was with raw egg white (the poached egg was done, yolk solid, so it is inexplicable why there was raw egg in the salad). Additions on the menu that went up to number 16, the legend only went up to 15. There was coloring in my salad? That's why we couldn't believe it was fresh - if it was, it lacked quality or craftsmanship. All in all, the food is ok, for kids anyway. The manager (?) was super nice BAR 4 Bar is nice, bartenders are great & drinks are delicious. Had to wait in the reception area because the bar was occupied by raging kids because there were snacks there and the kids were hungry (kids don't really belong in a bar, snacks could simply be outsourced) BREAKFAST 4 Great selection, with sparkling wine & nice ambience. The employee said we should come at 7. The first time there at 9am. You have to be aware that there are children at every table and they are loud SPA 3 Play paradise for kids. The facility is beautiful. You can find relaxation at the right times. E.g. 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. We asked if there were teas or something similar at the pool - that's what we know - the answer was: Glass is not allowed... we know it with 2 GO cups or something similar. You notice that you don't think any further, there are no towels and no tables next to the loungers. Surprising because the spa is also booked from outside... I wouldn't use it like that. INSG 3 Top for families, not for work/couples/rest. Lots of untapped potential. Lack of concept. Spa? Family? Business? Too many cooks spoil the broth. Structure would help. E.g. child-free times at the pool, then the wellness factor would be fulfilled. No attention to detail, e.g. 2 water glasses in a double room, changing seat covers with holes... My partner has the feeling that because you book with Travelcircus you have a single room that hasn't been cleaned (thick layer of dust). Lots of positive aspects, beneficial for kids. We wouldn't want to stay here again if we didn't have kids of our own PRICE/PERFORMANCE3 3 nights about 120/night. It's ok, unfortunately you compare. 5 drinks + small plate (90€) with cheap sausage/cheese, in Bavaria you expect great snacks. Burgers for €21. One has the feeling that savings are being made/only the bare minimum is implemented. Nothing whole/half. Price/performance disappointing, which prevents us from testing more. Therefore no massage/eating out. The prices/night are ok if you don't expect a spa but a kids hotel. Bar prices reasonable, bar food too expensive. The food is of high quality, compared to expectations. d. Prices, not convinced. Total 3.22 stars

How annoying, I had to correct the staff in both the restaurant and the bar about the prices... "Oh yes, the colleague made a mistake", "Oh yes, that's still them old prices," Oh yes. If you need more money, just correct your menu...

Hello, I was there from March 22, 2024 to March 25, 2024 with my child. Room 335, the room was very clean, the breakfast was very good and the hotel was very well located, the evening meal was very tasty and good. ❤️ Many thanks to the whole team at Hotel Forsthaus, we celebrated our wedding there in a small circle, stayed overnight and had breakfast. We were extremely happy and satisfied and would be happy to come back as breakfast guests.

Great hotel Our stay at the hotel during the trade fair was absolutely fantastic. The rooms in the old building were charming and spacious, and although a little more traditional, they had a special flair that we enjoyed. In contrast, the rooms in the annex were more modern, but also somewhat smaller and less attractively designed. The showers in particular were a bit cramped here. The breakfast buffet was a real treat and left nothing to be desired. There was a diverse selection of food and drinks that ensured a successful start to the day. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious and the bar didn't disappoint either. The experienced bartender knew how to pamper guests and fulfill their wishes, the name is the bar. His expertise and friendliness definitely contributed to our positive impression of the hotel. Overall, we can highly recommend the hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

Chic hotel for short business stays. The small fitness studio and spa are also recommended. The hotel is relatively branched out and could be better signposted.

Great hotel for business travelers. We arrived at the trade fair, were warmly welcomed and felt absolutely at home. The hotel room was a highlight, with a couch, coffee machine and comfortable bed.

1 star only because despite repeated requests for feedback, no one responded to our honest feedback. We complained about the following points. 1. Our room was uncomfortably cold when we entered (room 204) 2. The cobwebs between the suspended ceiling and the outside wall have definitely been there for a long time 3. Unfortunately, the heater and the towel rail didn't get warm, so we couldn't dry our bathrobes properly. At first we could only warm the room with the ceiling ventilation 4. The steam sauna was unfortunately broken - that can happen but it was a shame 5. The shower in the sauna area no longer had any heat after around 9 p.m. - other guests had also complained 6. There were leftover food in my wife's fork during dinner - it was replaced immediately after a complaint, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. 7. At breakfast a larger beetle came out of the milk container at the exact moment I wanted to pour myself milk - that's not possible at all! If you as a service provider ask for feedback from your customers, you should also respond to it. I would neither come back nor recommend the hotel

Tiptop rooms, good service in general

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast selection is very good. The rooms are clean and the wellness area is inviting. Unfortunately the staff doesn't do the hotel justice. Snappy answers when checking in, no apologies for mistakes during late checkout and annoyed eye rolling when you want to order something in the bar on Sunday. It really doesn't work at all.

Very nice rustic hotel on the edge of a forest. Quiet location with plenty of parking spaces. There is an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast very satisfactory. You can be in Fürth city center in about 13 minutes.

Used to be a high quality hotel with good service. Neither late check out, on the day of departure you can only use the wellness area until 2 p.m. (sauna only opens from 4 p.m.) every additional hour costs. At breakfast we gave our room number and told the gentleman that we would like to get out into the fresh air and enjoy our coffee and then come for breakfast. As we walked out with our coffee cups we were approached by a lady: o-tone: could I have your room number before you leave again? Yes, we looked stupid too... There are austerity measures everywhere, but increasing room prices and reducing service... that's new to me too. 2-3 years ago there was still something for your money here. I would rather use it again as an emergency overnight stay as unfortunately you don't get anything more than sleep for the price. Breakfast and dinner were okay 👍🏽

Not suitable for people with walking difficulties as you have to hike to the rooms. Staff friendly and competent.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds. The hotel is a bit obscure because there are several buildings. But you quickly find the right place. Breakfast is very good and recommended.

Stayed at the hotel over the weekend. Good communication with the hotel in advance, and all the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and we felt very comfortable, especially in the wellness area. . The hotel itself is beautifully located next to a forest, which invites you to take long walks.

We visited the day spa. It's very nice that this option exists. The staff were very friendly at the reception. And the proximity to the forest is great. The spa area is modern. However, we were unfortunately sad that the steam bath didn't work. The full entrance fee was still required. Maybe there is a small gift for this, e.g. B. A free drink at the bar to make up for it all. That would have been thoughtful. Because the best advertising is telling others how wonderful a stay at the Forsthaus Hotel Spa is. The reception staff did some cleaning, but actually the dirt on the floor was just pushed from A to B. Maybe there is a better solution for this. Also for ventilation. The ventilation in the spa is so loud that you can't even hear the beautiful background music. The shower gel in the spa was very nice as was the pool lighting. I believe that if some attention is paid to the spa, especially in the sauna and steam bath area as well as in the relaxation room, which was very cool by the way, it could be something really great. And even if the ventilation is a little quieter in the entire spa area. The nice quiet music, which was very pleasant, can be heard much better than the loud ventilation. We will definitely come back because it was still just nice and warm.

It was my first time as a guest at the Hotel Forsthaus. What was surprising was the information that I received an upgrade. Room nice and big. The bed is a dream. The bathroom is nicely divided. Spacious and clean. The food is very tasty and the dessert is an eye-catcher. All I can say is that I would love to come back. Thanks

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff are really friendly and always helpful. I was particularly impressed by the spa and fitness area. All in all, I can really recommend the hotel. We will be back!

What a great hotel this is. Beautiful location and nice and quiet at night. We had a very nice room. The breakfast is extensive and you can also enjoy a delicious dinner there. Our dog was also welcome and had the time of his life.

For the price per night and for a 4-star hotel, the room was very spartan and poorly furnished and the bed was very uncomfortable. However, the savings area was very nice and quiet. We needed breakfast for one day, which cost €48.00 for two people. You could have literally killed someone with the rolls, which is why breakfast is definitely not recommended.

Beruflich war ich im letzten Jahr schon sehr oft im Forsthaus und es ist einfach super dort! Sobald ich das Hotel betrete fühle ich mich herzlich Willkommen und freue mich jedesmal auf den nächsten Besuch. Macht weiter so!

Schönes Ruhiges Hotel, ein klein wenig in die Jahre gekommen aber das finde ich nicht so schlimm. Im Bad hat etwas die Qualität gelitten , Schiefe Steckdosen,defektes Licht am Spiegel . Nicht so begeistert war ich vom Restaurant, im großen und ganzen ist das Essen OK ,aber wie ich finde stimmt Preis/Leistung nicht so ganz. Sehr enttäuschend war unser Essen am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag, wir hatten Ente (24€) bestellt. Leider war der Vogel nur mit Gewalt zu verzehren da zäh wie Leder zudem gab es Recht wenig Beilagen. Auf meine Beschwerde hin gab es leider in keinster Weise eine Reaktion. Im großen und ganzen ist das Personal aber sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Wir hatten das Silvester Arrangement gebucht (30.12.-01.01.24). Bei unserer Ankunft, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir erst Punkt! 15 Uhr ins Zimmer einchecken dürfen( wirklich keine Sekunde früher 🤪) Das Zimmer ist modern und im Waldstil eingerichtet. Das Einzige was sehr nervig und komplett unsinnig war: der Tresor ist ganz unten im Schrank eingebaut. Nichts für Leute mit Kniearthrose oder Hüftschäden. Zum öffnen muss man sich auf den Boden legen 🙃 oder tief in die Knie gehen. Sowas haben wir noch nie in einem Hotel erlebt. Der erste Abend mit " italienischen Buffett " war komplett überfüllt. Essen war in Ordnung. Die verschiedenen Speisesäle waren alle ausgelastet. Wellness Spa Bereich: modern, leider nur 1 Sauna. Pool war gut temperiert, Liegestühle waren zu dem Zeitpunkt Silvester Wochenende viel zu wenige. Silvester Gala: Essen war in Ordnung, leider gab es keine Käseauswahl, Service blitzschnell am Abend 👍, Sänger hatte sehr gute Stimme, Zauberer war 👍, Feuerwerk war absolut top👍, Umfeld Hotel: schöne Waldlage, spazieren gehen uneingeschränkt möglich 👍

Ich war mit meiner Familie am 26.12. zum Weihnachtsbrunch. Wir wollten uns was Gönnen und einfach ganz entspannt schlemmen! Was soll ich sagen? Es war einfach wunderbar! Der Service und das Essen waren spitze! Ein ganz großes Lob an die Leitung Stefanie Haller. Sie versteht ihr Handwerk. Immer wieder gerne und sehr empfehlenswert!
