A lovely beer garden with a typical self-service ambiance. When it's busy, you might have to wait longer to order and even 30 minutes for your food, but that's to be expected. The food selection is good, and what I've eaten so far has been tasty. There's also a small playground.

A beer garden for beer. Soft drinks are relatively expensive, considering you often have to wait in line for a long time. Better to eat somewhere else! The currywurst was very soggy, the sauce was made of ketchup. We've never had such a bland currywurst. The fries were bland. And all for such a high price! You have to change that, people! Service...you get everything yourself. It just takes time.

The beer garden looks quite nice, but I find the food absolutely terrible. The salad with turkey strips costs €15.50. There were exactly four strips of turkey on the salad, four peppers, three tomatoes, no seasoning, no sauce. The salad tasted of nothing. I didn't even eat half of it. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. I can't understand why people go there. I think the prices are a complete rip-off. Unfortunately,

You usually have to bring some time, but that's generally not a problem for us, as we're not on the run in the beer garden. ;-) The food is okay, but nothing more, and the prices are rather high! Still, a nice beer garden to linger in. They also have daily beers.

The beer garden is really nicely laid out, clean, and tidy. The visually appealing green salad with "succulent" turkey strips for €15.90 (!) promised a lot, but didn't deliver. Six thin, dry, because overcooked, turkey strips were served on a (admittedly generous) green salad, which, however, lacked any dressing or seasoning. There was no oil, vinegar, or spices on the tables. I'd happily return for a Radler (shandy), but salads are available elsewhere with better value for money. Self-service, so no service, although the "bar" was nice.

A perfect family outing! We went to the Obstgärtla beer garden in Burgfarrnbach with the whole family – and it was simply fantastic! The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, surrounded by fruit trees and lots of greenery. The kids had a great time on the playground while we sat together with a cool drink and delicious snacks. The food was fresh and truly delicious. We especially appreciated the friendliness of the staff and how child-friendly everything was. An all-around successful outing that we will repeat soon. Highly recommended for families looking for nature, good food, and a relaxing time.

We originally wanted to eat something, but the small amounts on other guests' plates and the high prices were unfortunately not a good balance for us. We wouldn't recommend the beer garden for dining if you value good value for money. The drink prices are just about acceptable, so we only had a few drinks.

A very spacious beer garden with plenty of seating under shady trees 🌳. A fairly large selection of Franconian snacks and hot meals to suit your taste, along with traditional drinks like beer 🍺, is always worth a visit, even with bikes and children.

We had a very nice time. The service is self-collection, so you have to get up to bring food and drinks to your table. The food service was very friendly. I had the fish; all the other dishes are pork, which is no problem. The fish was delicious, but I think it's a bit overpriced. The ambiance is fantastic; the fruit trees create a welcoming atmosphere. We'll be back!

A classic beer garden, as a beer garden should be.

I went there for dinner yesterday and I must say it's a lovely beer garden. The staff were super friendly, the food was also delicious, the bratwursts were amazing, I can only recommend them; in my opinion, they're the best. I saw that next Tuesday, July 22nd, is schnitzel day, and you have to try it, as delicious as the food is.

Were there today for my birthday to eat all the food was the same size and delicious no waiting time and great quality only recommend

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. The portion sizes for the same dishes vary, the fries were cold and ridiculous for the price. The manager was completely uncooperative when I told him this. I definitely can't recommend this place. We won't be coming back.

Everything was great, except for the service. We waited over an hour for a snack platter and two sausages, despite repeated complaints – some other guests had the same experience. But guests at the next table came and ordered after us and got their food relatively quickly. CHAOS

The food is really delicious for a beer garden, the selection is completely adequate... the service and staff are very friendly, and fun and laughter are not foreign words here... as for the ambiance... a beautiful beer garden with shady and sunny spots, there's also a nice playground for the little ones... what I personally would like would be some background music, but that's not a criticism, just a suggestion/idea 😉 PS: The drinks selection is completely adequate in my opinion... and of course, they also serve ice cream 🤤

The Obstgärtla is a lovely beer garden. The staff isn't exactly unfriendly, but they always make you feel like you're intruding. The food portions are far too small for the high price. 12.90 for three Franconian sausages with sauerkraut and a slice of bread. I had to buy a pretzel afterward, which is unacceptable. The selection of drinks and beers is excellent.

We always enjoyed eating bratwurst at the Obstgärtla. Excellent Franconian sausage with sauerkraut and bread. Today I was completely shocked when I received my plates. They'd made two bratwursts out of one, and the sauerkraut was barely visible under the small sausages. Of course, the price stayed the same. That's what I call a rip-off. Otherwise, a nice beer garden.

I like to linger at the Obstgärdle. You get drinks from the bar and can also order your food there. A pager notifies you when the food is ready. The service is also super friendly 😀

My family and I always enjoy coming here. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. There's a wide selection of beer and other drinks. There's a play structure and a sandbox for the kids. Even when I come alone with my children, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Even older children with walking aids are brought food and drinks to their tables if you let them know, as the gravel path makes getting around with a stroller a bit difficult. Everyone is always welcoming and cheerful; we enjoy spending time here.

The potato salad was quite small compared to the sausages. The salad with turkey strips was unfortunately bad and not particularly appetizing; there were simply too few turkey strips on it and it was very dry. You'd be better off going for the roast pork with salami or the shovel. Three stars for the service because it's self-service.

We were at Obstgärtla this afternoon. The lumberjack steak and celery schnitzel, including side dishes, were excellent. The staff was very friendly, and the ambiance was, as always, beautiful.

We were there on May 1st. in the orchard. It was really well attended. The staff and the boss gave 100% to make everyone happy. It was busy, but everyone was friendly and the self-service worked. I think the only thing that can be improved is to check more often whether everything, such as toilet paper, is available in all cabins.

Crowded, loud and long waiting time

With all love, 2 children's bratwursts and 2 tablespoons of sauerkraut. I bought the bread extra, it was the best. To break the habit. A joke.

Unfortunately there was no food. Salad plate for €9.90 almost only green salad and Obatzter for €9.90 is way too expensive. Pure nonsense, sorry...

Large beer garden with Franconian dishes and snacks. Children's corner with sandpit and play tower with slide available. Dog friendly. Corona regulations can be implemented easily because enough distance can be easily maintained. A few little things could be improved, for example there was not enough bread at snack times (2 small slices) and the Swiss sausage salad was unfortunately nothing. The snack platter was otherwise very tasty and the grilled knuckle is also highly recommended.

There were three of us and we ate a Schäufele that had a great crust. Just right, not too hard and not too soft.. self-service.

Update season 2024: much, much better! In all areas! It's disgusting how you are treated here. First you stand in line for over 30 minutes and order your drinks and food. You then get drinks with you and can wait in line for another 30 minutes to get food. After waiting, all you hear is "we don't have any more". No effort to replace! Two snack plates turned into two city sausages drowned in cheap vinegar and a salad floating in yogurt dressing. Both inedible. And because there was no more bread (!) we were each given 1 cheap baked roll from the supermarket. No apology, no attempt to make amends, nothing...

A really friendly team that is very helpful despite the stress. And one more sentence about the Motz faction....too little....too expensive....right next door is the Netto.... Kitchen 45 closed before the stated time. At 9 p.m. the lights were turned off and you had to go to the exit in the dark. Service was okay.

I can't say anything about the quality of the Schäuferla, but if it's just as miserable as the rest of the food, then €18.90 is highway robbery! I had a cordon bleu for €14.90 that may have been homemade, but was prepared ages ago and probably frozen. The breading was soggy and the fries were probably fried for the second time. The taste is terrible. My wife had a press sack plate for €7.90 with a press sack sliced ​​very thinly and a slice of bread. So basically a press bag bread for €8. Pretty cheeky! Our friends had the Swiss sausage salad, which was made from home-made town sausage, sliced ​​very thin of course. The taste was so delicious that half of the already meager portion was returned. Almost useless as a vegetarian. There is almost no choice, especially not when it comes to the warm dishes, which all contain meat. We wanted to order the large snack plate and the meat there. On the one hand, this was not understood and on the other hand, it was done incorrectly on the first attempt, so we had to wait even longer. The Schäuferle, simply a force. Plus a cool cellar beer from a variety of small breweries in the Franconian region and great opening times. You can enjoy it under the many fruit trees. And your wallet won't be drained too much either, i.e. price and performance are in harmony. The friendly staff are quick and there was a bone for the dogs on top of that. Here the world is still in order and due to the size there is always a space available. A must for anyone who loves rustic cosiness.

Great selection of (changing) beers fresh from the tap, beautiful beer garden under fruit trees, nice staff. But the food? Sorry, just the cheapest quality and then way too expensive. Schnitzel cheap frozen, fries taste old, press bag 4 slices thin like cold cuts for just under 10 euros. Why??? You have a great butcher in town (Ammon), a not entirely impoverished clientele - why not good quality, preferably for a few euros more?! Ergo: I like to drink with you, never eat again.
