Relatively cheap food, but very little flavor. The salad, in particular, was simply nothing. You get full, but that's about it.

The food was really good and a short walk to the stadikalke.

We've been to the restaurant several times now, both with our teachers and with my family. What struck us all was that the setting was always beautifully laid out, and we were always greeted and welcomed in a friendly manner. The food is delicious and plentiful. It's good value for money, especially considering the energy and staff costs. Other restaurateurs could take a leaf out of their book. But there aren't any large SUVs parked in the yard. We recommend other restaurants to anyone who complains, which leaves more room for visitors who appreciate that.

Completely overwhelmed. Ordering food after an hour was told that certain dishes were out. After two and a half hours, something was served, and it was run-of-the-mill. The staff was unfriendly and irritated. Never again.

The whole thing about calling out table numbers when serving food, especially during live music, should be reconsidered. There are definitely better solutions. Why isn't there a receipt here despite the requirement?

I was invited to a birthday party at the Alte Warte yesterday and was absolutely thrilled! The food was truly delicious, and the staff were super friendly, attentive, and courteous. The terrace is inviting, and the interior is also very tastefully decorated—you immediately feel at home. Parking was easy to find. Overall, a fantastic experience that I'd happily recommend!

I happened to catch the day when the wedding and birthday party were still taking place. But we all still got something. But I recommend it.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in SW. The owner, Hanne, is simply fantastic, and the rest of the team is amazing, too.

The food is delicious, a real drawcard to the allotment garden. The cuisine is traditional German. Starting in May, there will also be live music in the beer garden on Fridays.

Excellent Franconian cuisine at a reasonable price. The cozy beer garden, equipped with very comfortable garden chairs, is particularly recommended. In summer, there is regular live music from bands of various genres. The Alte Warte is also ideal for corporate or family celebrations. You can book the entire venue or celebrate in a smaller group in the adjoining room. The friendly owner is available to assist you with planning. She offers a flexible all-round service (champagne reception, coffee & cake/tarts, buffet, or a menu), always catering to your guests' individual wishes. The dining room is always lovingly decorated for the celebrations.

I was pleasantly surprised by the place. The live music was great. What I didn't like so much was that a special four euro is quite steep. But if the waiters are paid well, that's okay. So, I was satisfied. 👍

Eating well. I've eaten better. Ambience, I'm missing a bit of attention to detail. Service more than bad. Served, eaten cleared away, but how! We didn't ask if we had espresso after the meal, if we were satisfied, etc. We often had different plates from the range. Cola, spritz in a beer glass. You had to pour the yeast yourself... It was my friend's wedding. It's a shame on such an occasion, such poor service, let alone the taste of the food. Red cabbage, tasted salty, sweet and full of Maggi. High-time food, i.e. horseradish, tasted boring. Meat, well just before tipping and noodles weren't tagliatelle in that sense.. Don't want to complain at a high level. But this kind of thing destroys the catering industry

Went there a little after lunchtime today and the schnitzel we ordered was very, very small, very, very dry and very hard. It's a shame, if you look at the photos of the recessions, we were probably unlucky today. Maybe it was left over, but it still cost 12 euros.

A great place to relax for people who love to listen to live music. Musicians and singers regularly perform at the end of the week.

The service was okay. Cleanliness okay. Toilet 🚽 didn't work at all. Food ordered at 6.30 p.m. 8.40 p.m. there was still no food when we wanted to pay, the last food arrived, a ham sandwich, then after more than 2.5 hours twice. Schnitzel not homemade like it used to be. You can tell if it has freshly breaded marinade. For music evenings, you should offer a small menu. Maybe with 4 dishes, otherwise, like with us, some guests have to wait over 1.5 hours for their food or don't get any food. Too bad, ready-made schnitzel, salad with ready-made dressing. And picked up drinks yourself at the counter. It used to be nice. For the schnitzel, small, no side dish specified, but the price is way too expensive., for frozen schnitzel. I come from a professional background and am very disappointed. What happened to the old control room? Too bad Oh yes for wheelchairs. You have to walk outside. Disabled parking spaces are not available or are parked by negligent guests. From my information there are several guests who paid and left.

We drove here one afternoon because we saw Schäufele in the reviews, which unfortunately was "not" shown on the menu. As was also announced, the beer garden was only self-service. This means you go to the counter and order everything you want and you also pick up everything you want. However, this worked smoothly! The food was really okay, even quite tasty. The lumberjack steak and schnitzel as well as the Camembert were all delicious. Priced okay too. Overall, the name clubhouse says so outside and it's all relatively old-fashioned. The ladies at the counter were very nice to me. I don't have to have it again, but it wasn't terrible today either.

Nice beer garden with self-service (at least today on Sunday). I think it's good that you don't have to wait for service. The food was very tasty and inexpensive. I had Camembert and my husband had Leberkäse with fried eggs and country potatoes. We didn't have to wait long either. Definitely recommended.

Great restaurant with a large beer garden with around 150 seats

We really enjoy going there to eat. Good home cooking that you can't get everywhere. There is also musical entertainment on weekends during the season with groups of a wide variety of musical genres. Not to forget the pub singing on the first Wednesday of the month.

This club restaurant is run with great commitment by some members. There are only small deficiencies in the service, which are outweighed by the excellent food. You notice a lot of work with a lot of passion but not enough staff. We sat outside and felt very comfortable!

Food is a matter of taste, some of it is ready-made, cheap, the furnishings are no longer completely fresh in places, but they are clean. Very quiet location.

In my opinion, you could tell from the food that it was more ready-made than freshly cooked. Very fatty, salty food, not for people who eat healthily. There is nothing vegan at all. In Schweinfurt the "Alte Warte" is a very good restaurant, the portions are really big and the prices have remained pretty normal, it was my first time there, not the last time, I was at one for the 70th time. Invited for a birthday, all the dishes were really big and everyone enjoyed it. I ate a Schäufele, there was also ox cheeks, and many other delicious dishes. I can only recommend the restaurant.

If I could give zero stars I would. I wanted to reserve a table for May 9th, but I was greeted on the phone with a harsh, unfriendly tone and said I shouldn't call during busy times. A slightly friendlier tone would have been nice. The staff should work on their friendliness. I would also like to say that the boss was NOT on the phone. So no more old waiting.

The old wart is an amazing beer garden on the hills of Schweinfurt.

It was a particularly beautiful evening. Coincidentally with music and singing. Franconian songs.

Large portions for little money, you can't hope for much quality. The staff was very friendly and the beer garden with playground is cozy. Nevertheless, it borders on mass production and I don't necessarily need it again.

Our celebration party was served attentively and courteously. The food was rich and tasty.

War da zur traditionellen "Schweinfurter Schlachtschüssel vom Brett", immer wieder ein tolles geselliges Erlebnis.

Die Alte Warte ist eine liebevolle eingerichtetes Speiselokal. Das Essen ist sehr reichhaltig und schmeckt sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Die wunderschön gedeckten Tische und Nebenräume sind einladend und man fühlt sich sehr wohl.

Sehr nette Inhaber, Preis Leistung Top, hat allerdings Kantinencharme, Vorteil wenn man im Biergarten sitzen kann

In die Jahre gekommenes Restaurant , mit gutbürgerlichen Essen was ok war.

Wir waren schon öfter dort. Gestern waren wir erstaunt, wie klein die Portionen geworden sind. Essen war lecker wie immer.

Leckeres Essen, gute Portionen und freundliches Personal. Im Biergarten kann man gemütlich sitzen. Reichlich Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Die Rampe zum Biergarten könnte man mal wirklich rollstuhlgerecht gestalten. Das wäre schön.

Wir waren abends unter der Woche hier . Im Biergarten ist Selbstbedienung. Für Getränke und Essen! Die Schnitzel sind leider keine guten Fertigprodukte. Für ein Feierabend🍺 wäre es hier ok aber für mich nicht mehr . Sorry

Wir haben auf unser Essen 1 Stunde gewartet. Dort ist Selbstbedienung. Die Kommunikation unter dem Personal funktioniert nicht. Das Essen ist einer Vereinsgaststätte angemessen.

Bei sommerlochen Temperaturen kann diese Gaststaette im Grünen einfach nur geniesen. Draussen sitzy man wunderbar unter den Schatten der Baeume. Das Essen ist sehr üppig. Preislich datf man da auch nicht meckern. Nur eins ist zu erwaehnen. Man holt sein Essen selbst ab, wenn es zubereitet ist. Mich stört es nicht, aber sei nur gesagt.

Schöner Biergarten und gutes Essen. Gehen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Über manche Bewertung kann Mann sich echt wundern ich persönlich arbeite nicht in der Warte aber weis das Chefin sich Mühe gibt und auch das Personal sogar die Torten werden zb selbstgemacht von der Chefin und wenn ich zb…auf einen Biergarten gehe ist oft Selbstbedienung oder es kann auch mal länger dauern… die alte Warte ist eine Vereinsgaststätte mit Herz wo jeder willkommen ist mit faireren Preisen und wer eine gehobene Gastronomie oder Restaurant ohne Wartezeit ….muss 1 mit anderen Preisen rechnen usw

Wij vonden het geweldig. Zoek een tafel uit, geef het nummer door, doe je bestelling binnen bij de bar. Zowel drinken als eten. Neem zelf je drankje mee naar de tafel en wacht tot je tafelnummer geroepen wordt. Dan kun je zelf je bord ophalen en beginnen met eten. Wil je een nieuw drankje dan haal je dat zelf weer aan de bar. Na het eten en drinken breng je de afwas terug naar binnen en kun je betalen. Niet duur en toch super.

Gutes Essen, akzeptabele Preise, schönes Freiluft-Lokal, sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Genau das, was man von einem Biergarten erwartet. Und hier eine Anleitung für Leute, die von außerhalb anreisen: Wenn angeschrieben ist, das im Biergarten Selbstbedienung ist, sucht man sich einen Tisch und merkt sich die Nummer. Man geht in den Gastraum, holt sich die Getränke und bestellt sein Essen. Damit man nicht darauf warten muss, gibt's den Ausruf. Wenn das Essen also ausgerufen wird., holt man es drinnen ab (steht auf dem Tisch). Ach... Schäufele gibt's nur, wenn es auf der Speisekarte steht.

Zelf ophalen van je eten , geen poespas, lekker eten en drinken. En speeltuintje voor de kids.
