Thank you very much, it was very tasty and the service was very good. There was always a waiter ready and everyone was well looked after. It is a small but nice restaurant. Definitely still recommended.
We were here in a larger group. For everyone it was the first time African and also vegan. However, some people's initial skepticism quickly disappeared. The ambience was nice and very pleasant, the food was consistently delicious, surprising and well seasoned! Nobody really missed meat!
I'm looking forward to next time.
Wo bekommt man in unseren Breitengraden schon gegrillten Fisch? … Der Ozean Grill hat hier eine absolute Alleinstellung. Seine Lage im Grünen ist ruhig und gemütlich aber auch unscheinbar und ohne großes Schischi. Der gegrillte Fisch als auch die Vorspeise haben großartig geschmeckt und uns absolut überzeugt! Der freundliche Service rundet den sehr guten Gesamteindruck ab. Ich kann nur sagen, immer wieder gerne! Timo
I like to support restaurants that aren't necessarily in prime locations. That's how we stumbled upon this restaurant not far from the market square. Almost inconspicuous from the outside, once you pass through the historic entrance, you'll see that the restaurant, or rather the brewery, has been around since 1600! There are a few outdoor tables in the passageway, but it's hardly a beer garden in the classic (Bavarian) sense. But that's okay. The dining room is rustically furnished and has a charming, authentic feel.
The menu offers classic German cuisine. My companion opted for a cordon bleu with French fries, while I chose the venison schnitzel with homemade potato and wild herb salad. Both dishes were delicious and generously portioned. The potato salad was truly homemade and really good, the meat beautifully tender with a spicy coating. The cordon bleu was also very popular.
The service was friendly, unobtrusive, and always on the ball; our glasses never stayed empty for long! The home-brewed beer was also a delight, very drinkable, both the "spicy" and the non-alcoholic versions.
Conclusion: Highly recommended! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again!

Der Döner schmeckt:
Das Fladenbrot ist dünn und knusprig. Weniger ist eben manchmal mehr.
Durch den etwas höheren Anteil an (eingelegtem) Rotkraut, hat der Döner eine leichte Säuerlichkeit, was ich top fand.
Das Ambienten ist eher so lala, aber zum Essen reicht es.
Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals!
PS: Der vegetarische Yufka ist sehr gut belegt: Gute Portion! Hat ebenfalls gut geschmeckt.
