Eines der besten veganen Restaurants, die ich empfehlen kann. Sie bieten verschiedene afrikanische Spezialitäten an. Der Service ist hervorragend und die Kellner sind sehr freundlich.

So gut! Einfach unglaublich gut! Wir hatten Fufu mit Erdnusssauce, Injera und Suya. Ich wünschte, ich hätte noch mehr bestellen können, alles war köstlich. Ich war auf der Fahrt nach Jena auf der Suche nach vegetarischen Optionen und war total begeistert, Latevi's zu entdecken. Mein Partner ist kein Vegetarier und isst normalerweise sehr gerne Fleisch, aber er hat es kein bisschen vermisst. Der kenianische Dawa-Cocktail war auch superlecker. Absolut empfehlenswert, die Fahrt lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Es ist leicht, das Lokal zu übersehen. Aber ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die Küche zaubert Speisen auf den Teller, die man lange nicht vergisst. Vor allem die Tomatensoße ist ein Traum. Samstags gibt es dort Fufu, was die Karte noch erweitert. Die hauseigenen Limonaden runden den Geschmack ab. Yummy! Das Ambiente ist einladen und persönlich, das Personal ist super freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Gleichzeitig spürt man sofort diese einzigartige, familiäre Atmosphäre – man wird herzlich empfangen und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Hier verschmelzen Genuss, Lifestyle und echte Leidenschaft zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Das Team lebt seine Vision und genau das macht Latevi aus. Für mich definitiv mehr als nur Gastronomie – ein Ort, den man erlebt. Klare 5 Sterne und absolute Empfehlung!

Interessant eingerichtetes und lebhaftes Restaurant. Mit freundlichen Bedienungen und fabelhaften Köchen! Vom geschmacklichen war’s wirklich eine ganz neue, aber sehr gute und leckere Erfahrung. Da alles ein Raum ist, war es von der Lautstärke relativ laut. Das ist aber mein einziger Kritikpunkt. Ich komme gerne wieder :)

Wir haben zu dritt am Fufu-Kochkurs teilgenommen und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Gruppengröße war angenehm, die Stimmung sehr entspannt und das Kochen hat auch viel Spaß gemacht. Wir könne den Kurs auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Im Sommer 2026 wird Latevi mit seinem Team bei unserer Trauung das Festessen abends catern. Wir freuen uns sehr darauf, denn wir sind Fans seiner Küche mit ihrem Geschmacksreichtum, von defit-würzig bis feinsinnig-süß. Wir schätzen Latevi auch sehr mit seiner offenen, humorvollen und interessierten zwischenmenschlichen Art. Heute waren wir zum Probeessen für unser Fest in Latevis Restaurant in Schweinfurt. Unser Festmenü wird drei Gänge haben, mit jeweils sechs unterschiedlichen, kombinierbaren Gerichten. Beim Probeessen heute haben wir für jeden Gang in drei Runden jeweils 6-8 Gerichte probiert. Es war ganz hervorragend vielfältig. Ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis, das auf eine Reise in verschiedene Teile Afrikas führt, und viel zu entdecken gibt. Nach jeder Probier-Runde haben wir mit Latevi über die Auswahl der einzelnen Gerichte gesprochen, uns ausgetauscht und gemeinsam Schritt für Schritt unser Hochzeitsmenü zusammengestellt. Um 12 Uhr ging es los, um 15:30 Uhr stand das Menü, und wir konnten auch schon über den Verlauf der Feier mit mehr Details sprechen. Danke an Latevi und Linda, die uns heute im Restaurant bedient hat, für die tolle Begegnung. Wir empfehlen Latevis Restaurant gerne; und wenn ihr ein Probeessen bei ihm plant: bringt ausreichend kleinere Boxen für Speisen mit, dann könnt ihr die leckeren Essen vom Probemenü, die übrig bleiben, auch gleich mitnehmen und später noch weitergenießen.

Wir sind unglaublich gerne hier zum Essen. Auch Kochkurse haben wir bereits besucht. Das Essen ist fantastisch und durch die wechselnde Karte immer neues zum Erkunden. Alle Mitarbeiter:innen sind unglaublich freundlich und es herrscht eine warme Atmosphäre 😊

Wir waren am Freitagabend zum Essen dort und hatten uns sehr auf den Abend gefreut. Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, allerdings haben wir afrikanische Küche schon etwas anders kennengelernt – zum Beispiel im Im Herzen Afrikas in Frankfurt, wo man auch ganz traditionell mit den Fingern essen kann. Ein Gericht hatten wir ohne Zwiebeln bestellt, leider kam es dann trotzdem mit einer Tomatensoße, in der Zwiebeln enthalten waren. Wurde aber anstandslos neu zubereitet (ohne Zwieben). Dadurch konnten wir leider nicht gleichzeitig essen, was ein wenig schade war. Die Atmosphäre im Raum war insgesamt sehr kühl – sowohl von der Einrichtung her als auch von der Temperatur. Wir haben tatsächlich etwas gefroren und waren froh über unsere Jacken. Der Service war sehr freundlich und bemüht, auch wenn es für eine Bedienung etwas viel zu tun war. Eine zweite Unterstützung kam später dazu, was sicher hilfreich war.

Latevis - Absolute Empfehlung! Dieses vegane Restaurant ist ein echtes Herzensprojekt und das spürt man vom ersten Moment an. Das Team ist unglaublich sympathisch, aufmerksam und schafft eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Hier wird Gastfreundschaft nicht nur großgeschrieben, sondern gelebt. Wenn Latevi den Raum betritt strahlt er eine Aura aus, die kaum zu beschreiben ist. Immer gut gelaunt, warmherzig und voller positiver Vibes. Die Speisen sind super lecker, kreativ, frisch und voller Geschmack. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Selbst Menschen, die sonst nicht vegan essen, werden hier begeistert sein. Auch einen Kochkurs habe ich bereits besucht und es wird definitiv nicht der Letzte gewesen sein. Die Rezepte sind leicht verständlich, praxisnah und für zuhause direkt umsetzbar. Auch hier eine angenehme Atmosphäre! Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht!! Ob Restaurantbesuch, Kochkurs oder Catering - Wer einmal hier war, kommt garantiert wieder!! Ich war mit Freunden im Latevi's essen und es war ein wirklich schöner Abend. Ich habe ein paar Cocktails probiert und sie waren super, das Fufu und die Egusi-Suppe waren auch sehr lecker. Ein tolles Erlebnis, afrikanische Gerichte zu probieren.

Wir hatten letzte Woche einen wunderschönen Betriebsausflug im Latevis. Wir haben einen Kochkurs mit Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachspeise. Auch die anfangs skeptischen Kolleginnen, waren schnell überzeugt. Der Chef höchst persönlich hat uns mit Witz und Charme durch den Tag begleitet. Sehr gutes Essen und sehr netter Service. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen und der Service waren gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Waren heute das erste mal in Schweinfurt und haben nach einem guten Lokal gesucht. Mal was anderes sollte es sein. Sind dann auf dieses Lokal aufmerksam geworden. Erst mal recht unscheinbar neben dem Kino, aber gut evtl schmeckt das Essen ja trotzdem. Wurden freundlich empfangen aber so wirklich afrikanisch war es nicht eingerichtet. Ein paar Trommeln im Schaufenster und ein Klavier im Raum. Naja bis dahin auch noch alles fein. Karte durchgeschaut und auch schon was ansprechendes gefunden. Viel Auswahl gabs ja nicht. Man konnte aus einem Wrap und einer Bowl wählen. Also wenn man den Wrap mit bestellt hat, hat man die bowl im Wrap serviert bekommen. Klang schon alles lecker. Freitag und Samstag gibt es auch lt. Tafelanschrift FuFu. Da heute Samstag ist, haben einige von uns FuFu bestellt. Dass wir dann das Essen auf Englisch bestellen mussten, passt ja zum Restaurant, aber muss man natürlich erst mal wissen. Zu trinken gabs Homemade Limonade und ne Flasche Sprudelwasser. Lt. Karte ausgeschrieben von Bad Brückenauer. Erste Ernüchterung: Meine Flasche spritziges Wasser gibt es nicht. Ist leider aus. Sie haben nur eine größere Flasche, die sie aber nicht verkaufen kann. Naja dann gabs ein Glas mit 0,2 Liter - man beachte: In der Karte steht 0,25l. Auch die Fritz Cola - lt. Karte 0,33l Flasche gab es dann im 0,2l Glas. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann ein Glas mit 0,4l serviert, jedoch mit nur etwas weniger als 0,4. Könnten schon 0,33l gewesen sein. Die Flasche Fritz Cola haben wir aber nie gesehen. Zweite Ernüchterung: FuFu gibt es heute nicht. Auf erneute Nachfrage in der Küche, war es dann doch möglich FuFu zu kochen. Als dann das Essen kam, waren alle Happy. ENDLICH ESSEN. Waren ja schließlich hungrig. War auch echt lecker. Kann man nichts meckern. Trotzdem echt Teuer. 18,50€ für ne Bowl. Schon ein stolzer Preis. Am Ende kam dann die Rechnung. Musste tatsächlich für meine 0,2l Wasser satte 4€ bezahlen. Und Nein! Es war kein San Pellegrino, sondern nur Bad Brückenauer. Schon sehr frech dachten wir uns. Aber gut. Ist wie es ist. Beim gehen sahen wir dann eine 1,5 Liter Wasserflasche von JA! Auf dem Tresen stehen. Auf Nachfrage zeigte mir man dann die leere stille Bad Brückenauer Wasserflasche. Und meinte man dann, dass die Flasche nicht voll war, daher konnte sie keine ganze Flasche verkaufen. Also echt Schade! Essen geschmacklich gut, aber das..einfach frech. Apropos..kalt war es auch. Wenns hoch kommt 19 Grad bei -6 Grad Außentemperatur. Werden nicht wieder kommen!

Highly recommended! A vegan restaurant that impresses with thoughtful, savory seasonings, a pleasant texture, and creative components. The customizable tortilla wraps offer a satisfying meal that still feels light – fantastic! I loved the large mushrooms, and the North African chermoula herb sauce was a particularly pleasant surprise: aromatic and full of character. A culinary experience that makes you want to return. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

Absolutely fantastic! Such lovely people and we were very warmly welcome with our three small children. They took such good care of us and adjusted drinks and food for the kids. The food was amazing! Bug recommendation.

We ended up at Latevis with a voucher. The food was delicious. We had the "Safari of the Month" menu and were able to customize our meal. I think even non-vegans will find something here.

One star is definitely too many! It started with the fact that on a Wednesday evening, only one dish was available to order, contrary to what was advertised on the website. We had to wait over an hour for our food, which arrived lukewarm to cold. The order included curry, which wasn't listed as lentil curry. The beetroot and the potatoes we ordered were also missing. What do allergy sufferers do when ingredients are used that aren't listed on the menu? After our visit, there were problems with payment. The lady didn't speak German, and we had to click on her iPad to select what we had ordered. In the end, she even wanted us to pay for things we hadn't ordered. After we complained, we weren't listened to; the manager simply walked away and didn't even listen to us. Addendum: everyone had stomach aches and some even had diarrhea after eating. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Addendum from October 23, 2025: After yesterday's visit and this negative review, we were contacted via WhatsApp without our consent. It really couldn’t be more unprofessional!

The service was very unfriendly and couldn't handle criticism. We waited an hour for our food, and it wasn't what we ordered. The menu online was different from what we actually had when we got there. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied. There was a lot of discussion, and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

My wife and I went there with our dog and had our first African meal – we weren't disappointed! Right from the start, our dog was offered some water, which we thought was really thoughtful. The concept is simple and fun: You order wraps or bowls that you put together yourself using the modular system. We both opted for bowls – they were perfectly seasoned, freshly prepared, and the portions were really generous. Unfortunately, we were the only guests during our visit. So, be sure to give Latevi some love – the food truly deserves it!

The food was delicious, even for non-vegans! We had wraps that were individually prepared. The portions were large enough to justify the price. It took a while to get our food, but that wasn't a problem for us, especially since everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Be sure to make a reservation! According to the information, they prepare food according to reservations made over the phone to avoid food waste. That's great! Making a reservation online was easy. We really hope this restaurant stays around for a long time!

I received a cooking class as a birthday present – ​​and even though cooking was completely new to me, I had no expectations. The surprise was all the more wonderful: As soon as I met the other participants and the team, the atmosphere was immediately fantastic. Latevi and his team not only showed us how diverse and delicious African vegan cuisine is – but above all, they let us experience what makes it so special. We danced, laughed, talked, and cooked together. The atmosphere was so welcoming that we immediately arranged to meet up with other participants again. And indeed: The second class was also an absolute highlight! The ambiance, the flavors, the loving togetherness – simply perfect all around. The team is attentive, helpful, and always in a good mood. You immediately feel welcome and can just let go and enjoy yourself. Thank you so much for these wonderful experiences – we will definitely be back! ☺️😋

We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is, as always, delicious. The service was friendly, although it could have been a bit quicker in some places. Overall, though, a nice visit; we're always happy to come back. :)

African food is something special and unusual. The menu changes, which I like. Now you can order "fufu" and enjoy it. I ordered the fufu with egusi, not knowing what egusi meant. Yes, I could have translated it, but I wanted to be surprised. Fufu with egusi was very tasty. If you like something unusual, then Lieblingsafrikaner is the right place for you. The "African"-style ambiance is very cozy. The service is very friendly. I/We will be back. See for yourself. I hereby recommend it.

I finally had a meal here! Everything's vegan – wow! Absolutely delicious! The best peanut sauce I've ever had in the groundnut stew, and the juiciest falafel and hummus ever! I was impressed and I'm still thrilled! I'll be back!!!

Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The food was lukewarm, of terrible quality, and not at all what was advertised on the menu. The dishes bore absolutely no resemblance to the description – a nightmare for anyone with allergies, as they used ingredients that weren't listed. Everything was drenched in fat, the vegetables clearly came from a frozen package, and were served without care. After the meal, I had a stomach ache and severe heartburn – I've rarely felt so unhealthy. I can't understand all the positive reviews at all.

We made a special detour to eat there because we were looking for a healthier alternative to a motorway service station, attracted by the good reviews on Google. Our conclusion: Never again! The food was greasy, deep-fried cold bread and vegetables presumably from a frozen package, along with (even though we didn't order) spaghetti that was completely overcooked and reheated. The vegan chicken either had no fried, over-salted mushrooms on it, or they were selling it as fried, over-salted mushrooms (?). The hummus came with ice-cold falafel. And there was a long wait, even though it was barely busy.

Insanely delicious. We tried the two cocktails, which were both amazing, and the west african chicken groundnut stew, which was one of the best meals I had in a while. The atmosphere was relaxed, the team super friendly, and the dishes simply delicious. No prior experience is necessary – it's all about fun, enjoyment, and the shared experience. Fresh ingredients, great music, great people, and recipes that are easy to recreate at home. We'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

I've had the pleasure of experiencing LATEVI'S's menu in various forms several times – and I've been thrilled every time! A cozy atmosphere awaits you, where you feel welcome. The food is consistently delicious, with exciting flavors and a surprising variety – especially if you're perhaps new to vegan cuisine. The cooking class was also a real highlight: warm, fun, and very educational. You can see how much love and passion goes into cooking and sharing knowledge here. Most recently, I booked catering for an event – ​​and what can I say: The service was friendly, accommodating, and reliable. The dishes were not only fantastically well-received, but were also praised highly by die-hard meat lovers, who even asked where this amazing food came from. In short: there's much more than "just" vegan food here – it's a place full of flavor, heart, and culture. Absolutely recommend it!

We were a group of four dining together and were all happy with our meals; everyone had a different dish. The menu is nicely arranged. The combination offer of a drink, a starter, a main course, and a dessert is really generous for €25. I particularly enjoyed the cauliflower in the main course, and the hummus (green) in the starter was delicious.

Really delicious and great new flavors. Even meat eaters will be completely satisfied, and the food tastes truly hearty. The service and atmosphere are also wonderful. I'll definitely visit again.

The food tasted good, but both main courses were lukewarm (apparently reheated too briefly), which didn't enhance the flavor. The price/performance ratio wasn't right for us. The portions were tiny, both for the starter and the main course. Main course No. 8 was just a thick sauce with four small cauliflower florets. Vegan chicken was missing altogether. The server then told me it was the cauliflower. But it's listed separately on the menu. The fried mushrooms were simply forgotten. Such a shame about this experience.

We were almost alone in the restaurant and waited 70 minutes for our food. Additionally, two of the five dishes (number 7) were so salty they were practically inedible. The children's samosas were also completely oversalted and inedible. Unfortunately, we weren't even asked how the food was, and the service was also unsatisfactory. Such a shame for such a great concept. Update: The owner apologized, so I've updated the review.

We were here in a larger group. For everyone, it was their first African experience, and vegan, too. However, some people's initial skepticism quickly vanished. The ambiance was lovely and very pleasant, and the food was consistently delicious, surprising, and well-seasoned! No one really missed the meat! I'm looking forward to the next time.

I love this store. It's nice that we have something so special in Schweinfurt. The food is always delicious and exceptional. And then everything is vegan <3 Yesterday there was a Valentine's Day special with advance reservation. It was a bit pricey but worth every euro. The seats were limited and I have rarely experienced such a quiet atmosphere and the ability to have a proper conversation. I don't really need it, but it's nice for Valentine's Day. We had more than enough to eat and drink. So the price was okay overall. And the SHASHUKA. Wow, probably the best dish I've eaten there so far 😀 The staff is very friendly and they deserve a medal anyway if they revive the Kuk. I'm really looking forward to the cooking class :)

It used to be a very, very nice, small restaurant. Family atmosphere and excellent food. Since it expanded and now in KuK, everything of the original flair has disappeared. The food is mediocre and the service is slow. It's a shame... we really enjoyed eating here often.

After Latèvi had already catered for our wedding (every guest was absolutely thrilled), we were there today for my mother's 70th birthday. Everyone loved it, our 87 year old aunt was absolutely blown away. Thank you. Absolutely delicious food, super nice people. If I lived in Schweinfurt, I would be a regular.

It's something different :) The ambience (furniture) is perhaps a bit worn, perhaps taken over from the KuK...and it was relatively cold in the restaurant. Portion size a bit too small for me...but I'm also a 1.83m tall man.

The food is very tasty, plentiful and of very good quality. Definitely something different. For my taste, the dishes would have benefited from a pinch more spice (the Chakalaka, for example, wasn't really fiery). In winter a curtain at the entrance wouldn't be a bad idea. It doesn't feel as drafty when someone comes in and it seems a bit more homely. Unfortunately the restaurant cannot be seen from the outside. No alcohol served and no card payment possible due to moving (although I can't understand what either has to do with it). Previous information, for example on the website, would have been helpful. Bottom line, absolutely worth a visit!

We had dinner here for the Christmas team event. Personally, I was here for the first time and found it very tasty. Small recommendation: The tagine pots should be preheated a little, then the food would stay warm a little longer. Otherwise, full recommendation and also something different/special.

The four of us girls went here for dinner last night. At first it was like “Oh God, a vegan restaurant, there’s nothing clever about it!” But we were taught otherwise 😊 The #favoriteAfrican+Christmasspecial menu is really a great idea. You can choose half a portion of each starter, main course and dessert. The extremely friendly and radiant service was a great help to us in our selection. What can I say, the food was delicious! We discovered new things. An entertaining evening with very tasty food and a nice ambience and good prices. We would love to come back!

I recently had an African meal at this restaurant and the food was excellent as always - the quality of the food was truly outstanding. Unfortunately, there was one big drawback: the waiting time. Despite a relatively empty restaurant, we had to wait over 60 minutes for our food without being informed in advance about the long wait. There were also no snacks or anything similar to bridge the waiting time. The excellent food definitely deserved better organization and communication. It's a shame that this spoiled what was otherwise a lovely experience.

We were in town over the weekend and were recommended Latévis - rightly so :-) The food was just really tasty, all-round great dishes. Casual, relaxed atmosphere, very nice people. The mix menu, No. 19, is a great idea and just right in terms of quantity ❤️ Of course, we have only tried a small part of the menu, but we particularly liked the seasoning of the lentil tagine and the corn pudding. The Latévis is the perfect example of how delicious vegan is, without any sacrifices ❤️

Black Soul Kitchen is the best that Schweinfurt has to offer in terms of cuisine. Varied, diverse and above all very creative. Every month there is a completely new card and so far everything has been exactly my thing! I think the price/performance is very good, you definitely get something for your money. The staff is always friendly, courteous and attentive and the owner is also a soul of a person... The good food, the people and the atmosphere invite you to linger and have one or two drinks/cocktails... oh yes... the African wines and the cocktails are highly recommended... and if I have an event, I like to use the catering from Black Soul Kitchen ;) it’s freakin’ good bomboclaat <3

The food is always delicious! We really enjoy coming to Latevi and enjoy trying out different dishes. The cocktails and dessert are also highly recommended alongside the delicious main courses!

The food was very tasty. The menu is a bit unusual. There were “only” wraps (according to Facebook, the menu changes monthly) But you put the wraps together yourself. You choose a normal or gluten-free one. Then you can choose from several fillings, as well as several sauces and several toppings. A slightly different concept but good. 😋

We went to Latevis for the first time today and are absolutely thrilled. The food was super delicious! It definitely won't be the last time. Plus everything is vegan, which I think is great. And the employees were all very nice too. :)

We had a really nice evening. The service was great, friendly staff, great detailed explanation of the dishes, that was really fun. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is very cozy. The food was very tasty, fresh and exotic. I particularly recommend the coconut water...a dream. The modern African music in the background also fit perfectly. Thank you for the lovely evening!

My friend and I decided to try a cuisine that was new to us, chose this establishment and were not mistaken with our choice :) Cozy place, nice music and atmosphere. A charming employee helped us place an order and explained all the items. We were delighted, we didn’t even expect it to be so delicious, since it was our first time trying African cuisine. The plate was full, unfortunately I didn’t finish it all, as there was really a lot... the drinks were also top, rich taste and ice in moderation. I wish you success and more hungry guests 😊 If one of my friends asks for advice on where to eat deliciously, I will certainly recommend latevi's.
