An absolute must when visiting Schweinfurt! Delicious Italian dishes that you won't find everywhere – both meat and vegetarian. Like a little trip to Italy with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We always love coming back! ☺️

We visited Schweinfurt city center for lunch and came across this small Italian restaurant. The place is simple with limited seating, but we were lucky to get a table. The waitress who served us was really friendly and helpful. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and Penne all’Amatriciana. The carbonara was creamy, well cooked, and absolutely delicious — very authentic! Portion sizes are great for the price, making it excellent value. Due to the limited seating, it’s recommended to make a reservation.

Small Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. The menu changes almost daily: pasta, fish, seafood, and meat dishes, appetizers, and desserts. Everything is freshly prepared, deliciously seasoned, and served with a warm welcome. The pasta is cooked al dente, and the gnocchi melts in your mouth. Delicious dishes are created with seasonal, fresh ingredients. The tiramisu is also a must-try. They also serve the excellent Italian "Birra Moretti." Angelo, the chef, cooks and sometimes sings Italian songs at the top of his lungs. Andrea, his better half, handles the service and takes care of the organization. Good food in a family atmosphere. It's no wonder many guests are regulars.

Penne Amatriciana. Boring? Far from it! Delicious. This small lunchtime restaurant, where the chef prepares the pasta in the dining room, is a delight from start to finish. Friendly service, a friendly chef, with whom you can even discuss the espresso recipe, the atmosphere—everything is exactly our taste.

La Piccola Sosta is a very good, typical Italian restaurant. The food is delicious. My tortellini and tiramisu were delicious. The service was also very friendly.

A small, cozy restaurant in the heart of the old town. The hostess was very friendly, and the food was cooked with love. That's not something you'd expect, especially in Schweinfurt.

Wonderfully small current menu. The Paccheri a Spada were excellent, as was the Cafe'. Plus a singing boss in the kitchen and friendly service. Here I come again!

Quite by chance, we decided to stop by this restaurant because it was on our way and it turned out to be one of the best decisions. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we are being greeted by the wonderful staff, we felt as if we had come to a friend's house. Nice industrial design of the interior gives a somewhat retro but also modern impression to the restaurant. The food is perhaps one of the best we had the opportunity to eat in Italian restaurants in Bayern.The menu is not big but the food from it is perfect.☺️ We will be coming back for sure. Big recommendation✅

Ein kleines, aber feines Lokal, mit sehr netten Besitzern. Das Essen war von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert frisch zubereitet und einfach „nur lecker“! Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr gute italienische Küche + Dolce. Andrea & Angelo sind das Herz wie früher in der Ligure. Man fühlt sich wie in Italien.

Ersetzt (fast) die Reise nach Italien…. Für den kleinen oder großen Hunger und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei - alles mit Liebe gemacht, das merkt man sofort - und ausnahmslos lecker. Innen fällt der Blick sofort auf eine stilechte Vespa und viele typische italienische Leckereien. Wir werden sie nach und nach ausprobieren, ganz bestimmt!

Freitag geht es wieder in die La Piccola Sosta zu Andrea und Angelo. Wir freuen uns schon auf die leckeren Gerichte von Angelo und die gute Weinauswahl, wie auch den leckeren Doppio Café hinterher. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes kleines Lokal mit Stil und Herzblut.

Bei Angelo und Andrea gibt es die beste italienische Küche ❤️
