Zum Roth in Schweinfurt

We had dinner at the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Unpleasant temperature (too cold) in the inn. After asking if the heating could be turned on, I was told it was 22 degrees in here. Three of our group asked for half a portion. The waiter talked us out of it. We would manage a whole portion. This has never happened to me anywhere. Still water sold out. Wanted a side salad with the meal: sold out. Ketchup and mayonnaise were also out. When we looked a bit strange, the waiter found some ketchup somewhere. Many of the foods on the menu are not available with the statement that they are closed tomorrow (Monday). I definitely won't come again.

Very tasty food, very good service, individual wishes catered for and very child-friendly people. Vegetarian food wasn't on the menu, but upon request there were excellent cheese spaetzle!

We were there at Christmas. We announced in advance (approx. 6 months in advance) that two vegans would be there, they said there would be no vegan food (and they didn't even bother to offer anything, even though it was so easy). We are allowed to bring vegan food and it will be warmed up. So far so good and fair. Our food was warmed up and we also ordered dumplings. The non-vegan food also tasted very good, as did the dumplings. Now it was time to pay. Dumplings: 5€. Warming up a pot of vegan goulash and a pot of red cabbage that you brought with you plus washing the plates: €20 And that's a disgrace. If I had paid €2 more I would have gotten a vegetarian alternative including the cooking time and the cost of the ingredients! This means that according to your bill, all the ingredients plus the costs of the staff amount to €2 per dish. Whoever believes it? They scored points because of the good food but lost a lot of guests because of the service.

Everyone was extremely happy with the food and service at our little birthday party. The dishes came to the table hot, were very tasty and large enough. The owner also took the time to have a little chat; everyone enjoys being a guest here. See you soon...

Top restaurant in the middle of Schweinfurt! This was the second time we were there with the company for the Christmas party. Ordered food in advance by arrangement and everyone (25th person) received their delicious food at the same time. Insider tip: Schäufele!!!

If you want to eat deliciously and well in a nice atmosphere in Schweinfurt, you should move a few meters away from the market square and eat at the Roth Brauhaus. Very tasty, plentiful and super nice service. Price performance unbeatable. Definitely coming back next time in the area

Very nice brewery restaurant with delicious dishes. There are also excellent daily specials in addition to the normal menu. Anyone in Schweinfurt should plan a visit.

Unfortunately you don't get anything to eat. The landlord or tenant is very unfriendly; You could offer a little something to drink despite the closed company in the courtyard. You never get anything at lunchtime. You can hardly get Roth beer anywhere else in Schweinfurt because almost all the inns in Schweinfurt are closed. And there are incorrect kitchen times posted at the entrance to the house. Should say 5-8 p.m. and not 4-8 p.m. It would be really good if that were changed. Within 4 weeks I went twice without doing anything without eating or drinking. Then you have to drink your Roth just across the street in Café Vorndran... maybe it's better.

We were able to hold our Christmas party in the “Zum Roth” restaurant. It was a very nice evening, in a great atmosphere and great food. Large portions at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

If you want to eat very well in Schweinfurt, you can't avoid a visit here. A small, fine menu with fresh preparation. Terrific.

Spontaneous visit on Sunday evening will probably become a regular guest. Cozy, lovingly furnished inn with very friendly, nice staff who you can chat with. There is not a large selection of dishes, but they are very special, very original and, above all, very, very tasty. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Food was very good. (If the schnitzel is pounded it can only be good!) Ambiance is "Brauhaus style", I think it's ok.

Authentic, down-to-earth economy, reminds me of a typical village economy. The food is down-to-earth and consistently delicious. As a starter I had boiled beef soup with Maultaschen, all homemade, and then the Schäufele with dumplings and coleslaw. Plus two dark beers - everything was great. Service and host very nice. I'll definitely be back. Conclusion: Highly recommended! Something like that was missing in Schweinfurt!

Super nice restaurant with a cozy and rustic atmosphere. The landlord was very nice, attentive and responded to our every need. The food was super tasty. To this day I haven't been able to enjoy a beef schnitzel made from rump steak, with the chanterelles and the crispy fries it was really great. No matter whether spaetzle, sauces or meat; everything is freshly made. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the restaurant.

Fast, friendly service, food tastes good, freshly prepared (you can hear the schnitzel knocking in the dining room 👍), and beautifully garnished. The beer is freshly tapped into clean glasses with a lot of “wallpaper” when you drink it, great. Guest room clean (not common everywhere) and discreetly decorated. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Delicious and hearty German cuisine. Everything is perfect. The quiet and pleasant place in the small courtyard and the efficient, discreet and friendly service. The best Schnitzel ever eaten, tender, fresh, tasty, with a seasonal sauce. The fries were just perfect. And Roth beer of course! The oldest brewery in Schweinfurt, very close to the center. Do not miss. I would even say better: worth the trip!

Completely satisfied. Super dear operators/employees. The food is unbeatable for the price and I'm more than full every time. It is freshly prepared every time. Everyone can hear the schnitzel knocking even from the kitchen. The changing menu alongside the standard menu also promises positive surprises every time. The atmosphere with the small beer garden is simply wonderful to linger in. Even if it's just a few drinks. The interior is quaint and cozy. Gladly again every time!

German cuisine is still cooked here. From the ambience to the food, absolutely top! The price is around €20 per person. The service is also very nice, courteous and quick. Even after six months later, very good food and top service are still the same! [See image 3].

1st visit Saturday evening. Nice welcome from the waiter who showed us to our reserved table. Not a very large menu, my friend chose the gourmet pan and I chose the daily recommendation of baked parmesan pasta with a side salad. Food was very tasty, warm/harmonious decor and also the friendly waiter 👍. All in all it was a nice evening and we were well full. We'll be back 😊 *Update on 06/29/24* Saturday evening i. We got a nice place (2 people) outside in the yard. The food was amazing, fresh and appetizingly prepared. The service, as always, was very nice and accommodating. Cleanliness of the toilets was also top. I'm already looking forward to the next time 😋

Very quaint, incredibly friendly service! We felt very comfortable from the start. We had our dog with us, which wasn't a problem at all. The bright one is highly recommended! We had cordon bleu and schnitzel with mushrooms and a side salad. The schnitzels were tender and very tasty! We will definitely go back. Update: have been there several times now. Today we had super delicious cutlets!!! Very tender. We go there regularly. Dear boss, dear service staff!!

I was here for lunch today, venison goulash with chanterelles, red cabbage and dumplings. It tasted excellent. The waiter was very attentive. I can only recommend.

The last brewery in Schweinfurt impresses with its excellent beer. Light, dark and wheat all have a pleasant character and are easy to drink. The food goes well with the beer and is particularly recommended for schnitzel lovers. The meat is pounded shortly before roasting and is perfect in terms of both taste and consistency. The daily menu has a good selection of seasonal dishes, such as the asparagus cordon bleu

Went here with my family and we all really enjoyed the food! The wild mushroom schnitzel was to die for! Really tender. We heard how the schnitzel was being beaten so everything was made fresh as it should be! The landlord was also very friendly and all 6 dishes were brought very quickly and at the same time.
