Bar with plenty outside seating on benches and lounge chairs in the adjacent park. Good for a beer in the park and though the bar closes at 10. You can stay longer.

The rose garden in Berlin is a relaxing place. It makes you forget the hustle and bustle and noise of the big city.

The culture pavilion is actually more of a beer garden in the rose garden. Here you can get delicious drinks in a beautiful location.

the place and the concept are very nice but NOT the music. i came today and there was some very fast trancy music, really not what i wanted to hear on a sunday afternoon. only the bartender was appreciating it. please consider to put music of other kinds!

Totally cool guest garden, great atmosphere and casual atmosphere - self service but very friendly service at the bar! It was a lucky find while walking home, saw the only free table and quickly grabbed it. Perfect to end a warm spring evening with a good mood.

Ein einzigartiger Ort und eine tolle Location

this is one of my favorite places, and I realize it is really hard to find staff that is good at the moment. But they are supposed to open at 4pm and by 4:20 the woman is still setting up. People asking if they can order, she just says it will be a little longer - with no apology... it was a bummer. we left for another place close by.

A former kiosk or park office turned into a bar. Nice atmosphere situated on the rose garden of a park, although the garden has seen better days - 30 years ago… A bit shabby but pleasant. Beer from a bottle and wine are fine, always chilled. The spritz (Aperol or Campari) are never mixed properly. On four occasions the ratio of alcohol used has always been unequal. The prices are average but not really cheap, so I expect a little more care. A bartender is quite surly - I’ve almost felt resented for bringing my custom here. A deposit has to be paid for the glass the drink is served in so the customer returns the glass instead of a staff member collecting it, for which there is a queue on occasions… A third star is given for accepting card payment and the location.

Lillet spritz not so good. But the garden looks so good.

Nice. Entspannt lockeres rumchillen mit Wein, Bier, Musike, Freiluftkino Dienstags, Samstags sogar bis 3 Uhr geöffnet. Jemütlich ohne die Touristenscharen.

I visited this place multiple times. They charge money for glasses and give you tokens to make sure you return pfand. I once returned the glass from an aperol spritz and forgot to ask for money back. This can happen to anyone. I returned in a year, next summer, with their token but a bartender said he doesn’t believe me and never returned my money back. What if I say I returned you the glass an hour ago and not a year ago? Would that be better for you man? Thinking about your customers as if they’re here to fool you or come to beg, it’s just not professional, it’s just bad practice.

Schöne, gemütliche Location für den Sommer mit netter Bedienung - immer wieder empfehlenswert! Obendrein wird Vinho Verde verkauft, das ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt!

A "culture pavilion" - what's that? Looked like a beer garden, tasted like a beer garden, so I think it's a beer garden. Cool little building with a walk-up counter serving the options you're looking for (including alcohol-free) and chips. No other food, but lots of space to sit, nice lights, a chill vibe and an artistically graffitied wall. And while I was there a little cart renting hula hoops and giving lessons, because why not combine beer and hula hooping? What could go wrong? (Oh, that. Right.) But seriously, made for a nice family environment that families were there enjoying. Bring some food, get some beer, hula hoop for a bit and have a picnic!

Simpatica birreria all'aperto, con spesso intrattenimento musicale. Berlinese a tutti gli effetti, semplice, senza pretese per chi ama sfondarsi di birra in un parco.

Famous for night life. Especially the must go place on Friday night. Everyone speaks english there, no language barriers. Shops are open for the whole night if you are looking for beers and other alcohol.

Bisschen zu teuer geworden. Das Pfandsystem nervt... Aber eigentlich sehr schön.

The place this year is getting worse. No matter what i ask, they don't hear and offer worst and cheapest wine first. - 1 Mal Grauerburgunder und 1 Mal Riesling - 2 Mal Vinho Verde - ruft der Mann an der Bar zu den anderen - 2 Mal Silvaner Es wird trotzdem 2 Mal Vinho Verde rausgegeben. Ich möchte nicht jedes Mal meine Bestellung kontrollieren und die Handlungen des Personals korrigieren, ich möchte mich abends ausruhen.

2€ Pfand pro Glas kassieren ist ok. Aber wenn dann das hauchdünne Weinglas an einer Ecke kaputt ist und man deswegen kein Geld wieder bekommt etwas lächerlich. In einer normalen Bar ohne Pfand sagt auch niemand was und man bekommt einfach Ohne Diskussion ein neues Glas. Da steht es am Ende auch nicht auf der Rechnung drauf

Nette Bar, haben allerdings den Pfand nicht wiederbekommen, da ein Glas beim anstoßen kaputt gegangen ist. Was kann der Gast denn für die Qualität des Glases? In einer “normalen” Bar ohne Pfand, müsste der Gast das Glas auch nicht zahlen. Geht gar nicht. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Cool place to hang out in summer after having dinner somewhere close.

Für ein abendlichen Absacker, jenseits vom Weinbergsweg - gefühlt im Park, genau das richtige, gute Musik (nicht zu laut und zu leise) , gechillte Menschen.

Wunderschönes kleines Lokal mit allerlei Getränken, Essen/Snacks und einem hübschen angrenzenden Rosengarten. Für einen entspannten Nachmittag oder einen Sommerabend genau der richtige Spot in Mitte. Bedienung und Service sehr nett und freundlich. Die Kids kann man unten im Park parken oder am Wasserspiel abkühlen lassen. Kann sicher nicht schaden im Sommer.

Den ganzen Tag Musik und man kann den ganzen Tag die Sonne genießen. Sehr sehr schön! Manchmal ist Kino oder Hula hoop Abend. Immer ein Besuch wert :)

Früher waren wir regelmäßig hier essen. Leider haben sich neben der Karte und den Preisen auch die Qualität der Speisen zum Negativen geändert. Das Essen und der Service waren leider nicht gut. Das Schweineschnitzel von früher war deutlich besser als das aktuelle Wiener Kalbsschnitzel. Das gleiche gilt für den Kartoffelsalat. Zu einem guten Schnitzel gehören eigentlich auch Preiselbeeren - die gab es leider nicht mehr. Wir haben das Restaurant immer als sichere Bank für gutes Essen bei uns im Kiez wahrgenommen und auch sehr gern weiterempfohlen. Für uns war es vorerst das letzte Mal.

Der Platz an dem Berlin noch so ist wie es früher ein Mal gewesen ist- freundlich, nett, kommunikativ.

Un superbe coin où se poser la nuit ou le jour, rempli de roses et très actif le soir.

Super chill bar near to Rosenthaler Platz, drinks are slightly more on the pricey side but not extortionate. They don't have their own toilet since its an entirely outdoor bar but there's a public toilet a minute walk away. Family friendly, really nice location and the staff were super cool, I'd go back but only on a sunny day!

Good atmosphere and lots of sun in the sommer. The music is nice and many people in the evening. The bar is in a park and has no toilets. Good for a drink or two ore maby many more🥳

Coole Location und freundlicher Service

Ehrlich gesagt waren wir erst Mal sehr enttäuscht da es kein Frühstück mehr gibt 😅 Weil es aber in Stömen geregnet hat haben wir impovisiert und uns einfach 2 Vorspeisen und einen Salt bestellt. Dazu hat uns die Kellnerin selbst gebackenes Brot empfohlen. Und was soll ich sagen wir waren begeistert, alles frisch und super lecker, und super freundliche Bedienung. Nur zu empfehlen😁🥰

Die beste location um in Mitte zwischen Neukölndealern und Hippstern aus Madrid entspannt seinen Rose' zu schlürfen.

Cheap place, but then again, not really a place. Just a stall somewhere in a park. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is great. But there is no toilet or lounge. All in all a nice stop if you come this way

Sehr hübscher Garten mit kleinem Biergarten mitten im Weinbergspark nach Jahren zufällig entdeckt. Viele Rosensträucher, Lavendel, Bänke zum entspannen. Tagsüber ein ruhiges Plätzchen in der Gegend.

Toller Laden, wie eine Oase im Geblöcke um den Rosenthaler Platz. Ich bekam zwei dringend benötigte Rosé, obwohl es schon spät war. Hajo zeigt (bzw. zeigte?) hier eine Filmreihe open air.

One of the great hidden gems of Berlin for a drink and some magical, outside ambients. One of my favorite places when I lived in this neighborhood.

Ich mag den Sommergarten wirklich sehr. Tolles Ambiente inmitten der Rosenbüsche. Diese Saison bin ich allerdings sehr enttäuscht. Das es aufgrund der Pandemie Einschränkungen gibt, finde ich total nachvollziehabr. Allerdings gar keine Tische und Stühle aufzustellen und die Gäste bitten sich in die Rabatte und auf die öffentliche Parkbänke zu setzen, finde ich bei den Getränkepreisen sehr kundenunfreundlich (4,00 EUR für ein Gösser). Was spricht dagegen einfach ein paar Tische vor die Bänke zu stellen und Hocker aufzustellen und damit den Mindestabstand einzuhalten? Die umliegenden gastronomischen Einrichtungen bekommen es doch auch hin?

Superleckeres Bauernfrühstück, gewaltige Portion (für Personen unter 80 kg Körpergewicht wohl kaum zu schaffen?) ich hab’s aber so genossen dass ich lieber geplatzt wäre als alles ch nur einen Bissen übrig zu lassen😄.

als unmittelbare Nachbarn empfinden wir die dauerhafte zu laute Beschallung mit basslastiger Musik als störend. Es ist unangenem bei sommerlichen Temperaturen die Fenster schliessen zu müssen um seinen eigenen Fernseher bei zimmerlautstärke verstehen zu können. Bitte denkt auch mal darüber nach !!!! Es kann nicht richtig sein, dass einen Hand voll uneinsichtige Meschen ganze Häuserzeilen tüyannisieren.

Huiskamersfeer met ook Duitse gerechten. Zowel vlees als vis, slaatjes, vegetarisch. Cesar salad was een mooie portie en vers bereid. Bediening was zeer aangenaam. Door veel volk en muziek wat rumoerig voor mij. Mijn eetgezel vond dat niet erg.

Pretty nice cosy place! We orderd a normal schnitzel and a big Wurst, both were really delicious. Service was nice and the prices are pretty decent! Would recommend for everyone looking for a traditional German meal!

So far the most wonderful German typical cuisine we have tried and the best. We had large German sausage with fried potatoes and fried onions with fruity gravy. Hubby had large meatballs with white caper sauce, chive buttery mash, melt in the mouth red cabbage as a side, daughter had small sausages, sauerkraut and fried onions. The balance of the ingredients on each plate was second to none. We also had apple strudel, a huge unexpected bowl of rice puffing with brown sugar and cinnamon and rose cheesecake. Absolutely delicious!

Special place, quite small but cosy with interiors back to the 50’. Food was ok. Service ok. The aerea is plenty of puculiar shops. Pity we discovered it our last in town.

Ristorantino molto carino ... piccolo , caloroso e accogliente, personale molto educato e disponibile , cibo veramente buono di alta qualità, non avrei mai pensato di mangiare così bene a Berlino , prezzi buoni tranne l’acqua ( molto cara )

I was there with my girlfriend and a couple of friends. We had a delicious dinner, everything was really good, prices were correct, quite cheap (all apart the water, too expensive on my opinion). The ambient is a typical berliner bistrot, nice, small and it makes you feel at your ease, as the guys are really nice, also. We spent a lovely dinner there. Thank you!

Gezellig en intiem huiskamer restaurant met heerlijke duitse gerechten wij aten een allgauer spätzle en een kalfs curryworst. Daarbij verse salade. De porties zijn zeer ruim en de prijs is goed. Daarnaast is de bediening zeer vriendelijk. Als we in de buurt zijn gaan we er zeker nog een keer heen.

En riktigt mysig liten restaurang i närheten av Rosenthaler Platz. Åt både middag och frukost här och vi var alla nöjda. Middagen bestod av schnitzel och den var utmärkt god, även om det var rejält mycket mat. Frukosten var även den utmärkt med färskt bröd och goda ostar, charkuterier och frukt. Kan varmt rekommendera Zur Rose för både frukost och middag. Servicen var vänlig, snabb och hjälpsam. Inredningen är som att kliva in i ett vardagsrum i början av 50-talet.

En hyggelig lille resturant i et aktivt område af Berlin, maden smagte rigtig godt, kan anbefales...

Wundervoller ort zum weinchen geniessen....natürlich nur bei gutem wetter.... Nur die preise sind teilweise recht happig (4€ für eine weissweinschorle, wo das glas weisswein auch 4€ kostet) sonst hätte es 5sterne von mir gegeben....
