Beer garden directly on the Spree. Very idyllic.

The seating is lovely, right on the Spree. A second cash register wouldn't be a bad idea.

Always take people here if I want to skip the crowds and show them the more chill side of Berlin.

As nice as this location is, the speed of service is much to be improved. The time to get a beer/food is sometimes ridiculously long, even if there are only few people ordering. While the staff is really friendly, they substantially need to improve their operational processes to serve the customers faster.

A real "oasis" on the side of the river. To definitely try the Käsekreiner and the Kartoffelsalat. Also don't forget to get a local beer as well and a brezel.

I love CapRivi...you can enjoy your after-work beer, wine, etc. in total relaxation...on the bench or you can simply take a deck chair away from the crowds...and watch from a distance and enjoy it quietly to yourself!

The quiet location directly on the Spree River is simply wonderful and relaxing. You can either sit at beer tables or make yourself comfortable in one of the many lounge chairs. Our favorite beer garden! Draft beer (Kindl) or light beer (Helles), bottled beers, and, of course, various non-alcoholic beverages, as well as wine and prosecco. The food selection is very limited, but delicious and relatively inexpensive. Self-service, empty glasses and dishes are graciously cleared away. Very tidy restrooms. The entire seating area is bathed in sunlight until shortly before sunset.

Really nice beer garden and the food is also quite okay, the Leberkässemmel tastes a bit salty but is still good and the view of the Spree is just beautiful

Completely inappropriately rude landlord at the tap - never again! For several years, I loved this authentic beer garden, located directly on the Spree River, and also appreciated its Bavarian beer and ambiance. I often stopped here on my way home and often visited this location with friends. My experience yesterday abruptly ended that connection, and I can only encourage anyone who doesn't want to be loudly insulted by the landlord to do the same: When I ordered a Radler and (in this Bavarian setting) assumed I was getting a "Bavarian Helles" mixed with lemon soda, I realized after just one sip that I had been given a Pilsner and asked for "a proper Radler" (and not Alsterwasser). But I hadn't reckoned with the landlord, who loudly claimed that Radler was "always mixed with Pilsner" and that I could jump back in line and order something else. My suggestion that this was probably a misunderstanding and that it would be nice to correct it was met with mocking laughter and loud rebuke that I was a "know-it-all" for whom he couldn't do anything. Well, I would have gladly left the "right" at the counter and instead hoped for a generous settlement, or at least a friendly, obliging word. Instead, however, I was treated as a guest with more rudeness than ever before in decades. And I certainly won't allow another opportunity for that (even with my friends). This place should be avoided!

It's actually a lovely beer garden in a great location with a friendly staff. But unfortunately, you can't rely on the opening hours. We've encountered closed shutters several times. If that happens at the beginning of the season, fine. But at the end of June?

Were here in mid-April. The beer garden is very nicely located on the Spree! Good selection of drinks, unfortunately there was no food. Nevertheless, you can sit here and relax with a cold beer and enjoy your evening! Recommended!

A quite special beer garden right on the Spree and below the former Vattenfall power plant with the walkway along the riverfront going right through the beer garden. Despite its special setting it is very unpretentious and simple and that’s why I give it my 5stars, it doesn’t push to be different. It is what it is and that in itself is very admirable and somewhat rare in Berlin these days. The food is simple but good, Leberkäs (with sweet mustard!) brezn and Quark, Opatzter, Kartoffelsalat. And the prices are very reasonable, also for the drinks. A rare gem and a very nice destination for a walk to and along the Spree in Charlotte B. Keep it up, cup rivi.

CapRivi is a beer garden that is beautifully located. Directly on the Spree. If you want to drink something in the afternoon, whether it's water, a soda and a nice beer or a delicious wine, then you can do it here! There are the typical benches but also sun loungers where you can read a book. There is also a small bite, but it could be better. A cheese plate, sausage plate, grilled vegetables and some bread would be enough! Otherwise you have to get your own drinks, which will probably become more and more common due to the lack of staff. But it will be cleared away. I'll definitely be here more often now!

The owner likes to shout at his guests and threaten to call the police if you sit there for 2 minutes without a drink even though you say you'll get something straight away. Never experienced such disrespectful behavior and absolutely not recommended. Just embarrassing, especially the owner's responses to some of the reviews. I wouldn't begrudge someone like that a cent.

Nice location, unfortunately I got a stale beer. When I mentioned this to the bar, it was vehemently not accepted. What a shame!

This beer garden is located on a side street. very close to the Spree. A spiral staircase leads down there. There are fold-out chairs where you can choose a nice spot by the water. The food is usual as you would expect from beer gardens (similar to Bavarian snack style). There are also alternating meals on offer which are regularly selected by the boss. We recommend the Käsekrainer in a roll. The service is very nice. The view is always there to ensure that the tables are always tidy.

I discovered Caprivi two years ago while visiting Berlin and was very impressed. I was there again last Wednesday. Unfortunately, apart from pretzels and Landjäger, there were no more small dishes (due to a lack of staff). Well, then I just wanted to go for a beer on Thursday. It was then completely closed (due to a lack of staff). It's a shame that such facilities are disappearing from the scene.

I like to drink one or two draft wheat beers. This is the first opportunity from my home and is within walking distance. 😁

This year the food is much better than last year. But the service staff at the bar are overwhelmed as soon as there are more than five people in line.

We have been here by the water in CapRivi several times. We always liked it very much and the prices were reasonable. Today I wanted a rhubarb spritzer with still water, where I was asked for tap water or bottled water. Of course I didn't want tap water for 4.10 euros. When paying I was informed that I would have to pay extra for the bottle of water, where I now paid 7.20 euros for the spritzer. It's usurious and unfriendly, especially since the people around the corner had recently smoked pot, which attracted the guests.

One of the few beer gardens left in the area. I especially like the quiet atmosphere. Walkers with or without dogs, cyclists and boats on the banks of the Spree pass the bar and the many different seating options such as beer garden sets or folding deck chairs. So there is always something to see, even something amusing, when trying to set up deck chairs... This has probably happened to all of us at some point... The beer flows quickly and the glasses are often cleared away by the friendly staff. There is a generally very friendly atmosphere. When it comes to dining, however, you can't really rely on a stable offering. Often there is only pretzel and potato salad. There was already more on offer, but the visitors probably can't be planned well... There is nothing for vegans/vegetarians apart from pretzels and beer. In the surrounding area there is only pizza, falafel, fries and ice cream in the direction of Otto-Suhr-Allee... Unfortunately, the water is separated from visitors by a fence, which was not the case before. Overall, a very nice place in the neighborhood that we hope will stay that way for a long time.

A beer garden on the Spree in the Charlottenburg district, typical of Berlin's city center. Direct access leads via the Caprivi Bridge to a staircase. Another access option is the riverside path along the canal. The service is very nice and tries to fulfill the guests' wishes. Payment is also possible by card. Unfortunately, food or snacks are not on the menu. There is a toilet behind the beer garden. Parking options are limited to Wintersteinstrasse. When the weather is nice, it's a great place to stay.

When the weather is nice, sit right by the water. Drinks for self-collection only. Sanitary facilities are clean. A nice place in the middle of Berlin.

Caprivi, ein Ort zum Verweilen auf einem Spaziergang an der Spree. Hier kannst Du beim Bier oder Wein und Bretzel plauschen. Die Bar hat Selbstbedienung. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft.

Eine Strandbar, die sich in den letzten 12 Jahre nicht verändert hat - Toll! Denn hier sitzen die Homies und genießen den Sonnenuntergang über Charlottenburg und der Spree. Lecker Bier und ein langes Gespräch - dieser Ort ist perfekt dafür. Leider gibt's nicht wirklich was zu essen.

Hier stimmt meiner Meinung nach das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis nicht mehr. Nicht einmal mehr das richtige Glas für das Getränk. Berliner Weisse mit Schuss aus Biergläsern, entweder hat man hier keine Ahnung oder es ist egal. Das Personal, ist im Gegensatz zu meinem Bier, kalt und überheblich. ... Resümee nicht der Fall , sondern der Aufschlag schmerzt

Wirklich schöner Biergarten direkt an der Spree. Biere und Weine sind top.Toiletten sauber mit einer herzlichen Toilettendame. Leider ist der Service lahm und schnoddrig. Auf eine Bestellung von zwei Obazda, bekam ich die Antwort :"Ham wa nischt!" Auf meine Rückfrage ob dieser aus sei, bekam ich ein knappes "Scheint so" zurück. Kundenservice geht anders und ist noch viel Platz nach oben.

Netter Ort am Wasser zum Entspannen und ein Bier oder Wein zu trinken. Selbstbedienung und nettes Personal. Kein Schickimicki nur gemütlich.

Es ist eine sehr entspannte Kneipe direkt am Wasser. Bierpreis ist fair und es gibt auch eine Wurst falls Hunger kommt…Publikum ist auch Ok 👌 ich kann es empfehlen 😀

Netter Biergarten am Landwehrkanal.

Schöne Lage an der Spree. Die Leute im SB Bereich ausgesprochen nett. Speiseangebot aber recht dürftig. Frage mich, warum man da nicht einen Grill hinstellt, wenn man seit Jahren einen Koch sucht, der aber nicht zu finden ist?

Direkt an der Spree, Küche leider sehr eingeschränkt. Suchen seit Jahren einen Koch, scheint nicht zu klappen! Warum nicht einen Grill aufstellen: Bratwürste, Nackensteak geht immer im Biergarten! SB, aber die Leute sind fix und ausgesprochen nett hinter der Ausgabe.

Alle Sorten von Getränken da, die ein Biergarten so braucht. Alle Speisen werden nicht lieblos auf en Teller geknallt, sondern ansprechend - Kartoffelsalat beispielsweise in Glasgefässen - serviert. Mir gefallen solche Kleinigkeiten. Sehr gemischte Publikum, das zur Unterhaltung beiträgt!

Leider war die Bedienung extrem undfreundlich und arrogant… Dienstleister war der junge Mann definitiv nicht… trübte das Gesamtbild und die Stimmung sehr erheblich. Es gibt wesentlich schönere und freundlichere Biergärten in Berlin, würde definitiv nicht wiederhingehen.

夏しか開いていない、夏は全開、と前回書いた。 でも、ベルリンの秋は意外に暖かく長くて、10月になってもまだこのビアガーデンを楽しめた。嬉しい。１０月になってからも２，３回通ってしまった。 陽がだいぶん短くなってきた。それで夏とは雰囲気が違う。暮れなずむシュプレー川もまたいい。 たまたま居合わせたベルリン生まれ、ベルリン育ちの女性と、ベルリンの壁の話しをしながらビールを飲んだ。

Nous étions venues avec ma fille pour notre dernière soirée à Berlin . Rentrant en france le lendemain . Nous avons été obligées d' aller acheter à manger au supermarché , car très peu de choix , seulement une salade de pommes de terre (très bonne) et des bretzels et une saucisse sèche , trés salée. C' EST PEU POUR UN REPAS . Sinon , l'équipe est agréable . C' était un plaisir ce diner au bord de cette belle rivière qu' est la spree.
