Good beer and excellent location!

The BRLO draft beer at Zenner is simply the best beer ever. The view of the Spree and the Island of Youth is even better. Considering that this was the GDR's tea dance until recently, the new tenants have done everything right. Sun, BRLO, Spree, Zenner – simply amazing. Only the endless waiting in line at the beer and food stands is annoying. The staff is second-rate, unfortunately. Whatever.

Today we took advantage of the great weather and stopped at the Zenner. As expected, full as hell.... Unfortunately, the supply was rather underground. Long waiting times are normal, but standing in line for around 25 minutes for two drinks is quite sporty. The colleagues at the grill then shot the bird. About 20 minutes until you can place your order and pay. But then wait at least another 30 minutes until you get your food!!! Completely unacceptable and complete failure of management.... 2 employees who collect cash and hand out drinks, super fast, of course. 1 employee who then finally hands over the orders, Piper is handed over when paying. 1 employee at the grill!!! ...who does everything alone...grilling and serving bratwurst and burgers...that can't be done at all!!! Then a colleague jumped in and took over the organization...a little better, but the bratwurst was completely over-grilled and only a sausage at the core. I would have complained, but I didn't feel like pushing through those waiting as I was traveling with an assistant. Conclusion: Pure tourist glut and only looking for coal! Price performance not in line! 1 beer, 2x fries and a burnt bratwurst = 20 euros! If it's full there, just keep walking or just get a beer or two... otherwise it'll take too long!!!!

It’s great there’s something great in the park, and in the summer the drink selection is spot on - but it’s still hit and miss with terrible service. We were served re-fried fries - and when someone else also complained about this they were shouted at. The beer was also flat.

Zenner's beer garden is still one of the largest in the German capital with around 1,500 seats. A typical “everyman’s” where very different generations come together, especially on weekends.

A beautiful place by the water. A must in summer. In winter with an ice rink, mulled wine and pop-up bistro. You can eat well here. There is a large selection, including for vegetarians/vegans. We always enjoy coming here after a walk through Treptower Park. No matter what time of year.

It's hard to get a parking space, but in summer the beer garden with a bike is perfect!

There are advertisements everywhere for the winter market, which is not open. Not only did we have long faces, the children were disappointed. Ordering mulled wine at the Pop Up Bistro was a disaster. The ice rink was hopelessly overcrowded. It's a shame, it was nice last year.

Ice skating was really bad. So many people in such a small place is a disaster. There should be a limit on how many people can be on the ice. It was really dangerous for children.

Only here you can always have a great time with your family and friends, not only in summer but also in winter. Family picnics and exciting parties! In summer - picnics in nature, in winter - ice rinks and raves. Always amazing!

This is a wonderful place to take a break with an autumn beer 🍻 and a view of the water. The huge beer garden has many nice places and there are also decent toilets. The service staff was very nice and friendly despite the large crowds. 👍

Not recommended. Subpar food and very long waiting times. Tables are not cleared because there is no deposit on the glasses. Toilets a disaster. But the prices are exorbitant. It's a real shame because the location is really, really nice! Therefore 2 stars for the location & location. There was no response to the feedback regarding the catering…

Good location, it's right on the Spree, sometimes you have to wait forever and it's not cheap either, early on Saturday evening we were literally pressured to drink up quickly, I don't like it there at all, great! I'D RATHER GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

The atmosphere, setting and vibe is quite nice. Staff are friendly. I’ve eaten different dishes here and they were all fairly mediocre for the price. Today I had to give back old, cold loaded fries (vegan pulled pork) and the topping was sparse and dry. I got a new portion with slightly warmer but dry fries again. But if you just want a drink the Biergarten is great!

Very nice beer garden in the heart of Treptow Park and directly on the Spree. Self-service, don't be put off by the long queues, as experience has shown, it's usually pretty quick. Food delicious, prices reasonable. All in all, highly recommended.

Here you can sit wonderfully close to the water; I'm here often in the summer and also on beautiful autumn days. Relaxed atmosphere, music is always there too. The only thing that bothers me is the gravel floor, it just feels strange. Conclusion: Location for relaxing hours👍🍺🍷

Turned out nice. Good job. Weekly dancing such as ballroom, Latin and salsa is still missing. A large dance floor and dance evenings a few times a week. Could also be a dance venue. It would be a dream with the view of the Spree. Maybe it will come.

Monday afternoon, one of the last warm days. My first visit this year. It is well known that the prices are quite high (but also the reasons for this). This time I didn't have to wait in line at all and the food came super quickly. We were absolutely thrilled with the taste of the bratwurst with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes as well as the breaded fish with potato salad and quark with salad. Really extremely tasty! It also kept us full for a long time. Otherwise I usually order the loaded fries, which are also very good. I once had a vegan bowl that was unfortunately very boring and not filling. The view of the water and people watching: priceless.

It's not bad here, but I think it's better at Schlachtensee in the fishing hut.

Great place. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us. Too expensive for portions that are too small and too unusual. We had the bowl, the cheese spaetzle and fries with 6 chicken nuggets and were all still hungry.

There is a lot to see here thanks to the boat traffic. You can sit very well here. Food was very tasty. Self-service.

Price-performance is not right. Was better 2 years ago, also the quality of the food. Portions are very small. The sprouts on the dish would be described as wild herb salad. Ambiance is great.

We enjoyed a few delicious beers here in the sunlight. The store has a very special vibe and you just feel comfortable. There is no service, which means you have to get your own food and drinks at the bar. If it's full you have to expect a wait.

The Zenner as an event location and beer garden with ice cream sales is wonderfully located in Treptower Park on the Spree. The beer garden is spacious, there are busy and quieter corners. Good beer, home cooking and ice cream are available on the west side, wine and tarte flambée on the east side of the beer garden. The view of the riverside path and the Spree with the Isle of Youth is beautiful, especially at sunset. The food is OK. The portions, especially for the cheese noodles, are rather small. Sometimes the cheese is rather watery. The drinks are thoroughly recommended. The staff is generally very friendly. The toilets are clean. There is a barrier-free toilet.

It's great what came out of it. Prices for food and drinks are normal. I can recommend it to everyone.

It's all pretty nice, but it's nothing special. Benches with no backrest and no comforts. Everything made for cheap. It's not the standard of today. Hard seats and I'll come again. It's a shame, a famous place.

Food is absolutely amazing. Would never expect of a Biergarten to have a quality of a good german restaurant! Children menu is real homemade food, not some frozen fish sticks. Service super fast, staff relaxed (!). Pity didn’t discover this place in the beginning of the summer ;)

🍻 We had a really nice evening in the beer garden. The atmosphere was great – classic Bavarian with wooden benches, gravel floors and a wonderful view of the Virgin Island. The music and the ambience created a relaxed atmosphere. The fries were crispy and tasty, but I wouldn't recommend the salad for €8 - unfortunately it was far too small. Still a great place to unwind and enjoy the beer!

Loaded Fries — Chili Cheese: is listed with “wild herb salad,” which in the end turns out to be a few sprinkles of cress on the fries. No, there is no salad included with the €9 bowl of fries and I feel quite duped by the description...

Beautiful and cozy beer garden by the water. You can choose to sit under the trees or in the open air. However, unfortunately the food doesn't taste good. Cheese spaetzle tends to be soggy with little taste and Königsberger meatballs don't taste like nuts either. It's a shame actually...

I really enjoy being here. It's just a huge beer garden. Highly perfected. I fluctuate between 2-3 service. But it's definitely not due to the great and always friendly, hard-working employees. It's just system catering. I would also like a 7 or 8 for the ambience. It's hard to get more than that in Berlin. Come here at 2 p.m. on Saturday at 30°C and you can see what feels like 1,500 guests being served in 3 hours. I'm going here on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Wonderful! 😜 I'm sticking with it... 5* despite the service. I know what awaits me! And I love that!

Great beer garden etc.. nothing to complain about but the food 😱 I ordered a bowl for 13 euros. I thought it was a joke. Everything was clapped carelessly and an absolute joke from the crowd. I read in the reviews that it wasn't that great, but I thought it had improved. Then I went back and the service brought the boss. I thought to myself that I wouldn't accept it like that. I then kindly explained what was going on and was then apologized and given another meal of my choice. And on top of that, 2 free drinks. I found that very nice. My husband's food was just too cold. The bottom line is that it's worth going there if you want to sit nicely and just have a drink. I wouldn't eat anymore. Also far too expensive for the quality and quantity.

Here you can always find a place to chill out and drink a beer after work. Only the recent increase in weed consumption at the next table mars the experience somewhat.
