Unfortunately an absolute disaster. How are you supposed to believe all of this... At lunchtime there were only two servers for the entire restaurant inside and the entire outside terrace. As a result, the tables could not be cleared away properly and entire tables were full of old place settings. The service staff also admit that they are absolutely overloaded and can't do it. Plates even fell several times while being carried away.
This also meant that we got the wrong tea and barely saw the waitress. The menus were falling apart or were sticky and worn. The Bitburger we ordered was simply put there without any comment that it was alcohol-free as ordered, so we had to ask. We had to take the cutlery and the food from our neighbor's table - unpleasant!
Unfortunately the food was a disaster. It looks good in the pictures, but that's it. A lot of things are pre-cooked. When we entered the restaurant, we walked past the kitchen. There I saw a lady holding a heat lamp over a tarte flambée. Later I saw my baked potato with shredded chicken underneath. The chicken consisted of strips like those you find in ready-made salads in discount stores. It was pale and undercooked. The potato wasn't steaming and wasn't cooked through, but rather hard. After a few minutes the food was cold again. I firmly believe that my food was simply prepped and then cooked under that lamp for 10 minutes. This has nothing to do with cooking and simply doesn't meet the requirements. The salad was okay, even though the dressing wasn't homemade.
Management is expressly to blame here. The service staff only fights fires. We've really never experienced anything like this before. The store has so much potential.
The beautiful old jug that invited poets and thinkers and hosted popular events. Festivals take place here and birthdays are celebrated. We held a funeral service. There was goulash soup, tomato soup, bread, cold plates, tea, coffee, fruit and cake. I myself come from the catering industry and what was offered was bad! The goulash soup was completely over salted. If I had paid for the buffet, I would have hired the chef! The soup had enough meat. Onion and soup vegetables were missing. Fresh parsley doesn't cost much and should be added in a small bowl. Just make it friendly. Likewise the tomato soup. It was served after the goulash soup. It was also too salty. The whistle was missing. A fruity component or creme fraiche, croutons, mozzarella. The bread was cut into slices that were too thick. The cake was good, but quite dry. A bowl of whipped cream is included. There is no recommendation from me because I know what would have been possible with a little effort.
After I saw this restaurant on my local, your local, I really wanted to visit it. We were on business and wanted to enjoy our Christmas vultures here.
Unfortunately, this was a complete disaster. Neither on the Internet nor when making the reservation was it mentioned that the entire menu would NOT be available. Unfortunately, the dishes on the shortened menu weren't really a hit. And for us vegans, unfortunately there was only one salad on the menu. After we asked if they could make us something vegan, we received the dish shown in the picture. Unfortunately it wasn't really tasty and for 17 euros it's just a rip-off. Unfortunately, my colleagues weren't thrilled with the food either + everyone received a completely different portion size for the same dishes??? Service? Out of place! Completely unfriendly as soon as you entered the restaurant. Drinks were only consumed after half an hour, but unfortunately they arrived without carbonation. The service was very rude and often complained to us. Every now and then she was friendly when she realized that she was behaving completely wrong. Thank you so much for ruining a Christmas party! Never again brother heart - food doesn't taste good + no service available + exorbitant prices!!! How can you survive in today's situation?
Bei Sonne einfach eine tolle Terrasse direkt am Wasser. Bedienung freundlich, aber leider sehr gemütlich. Essen solide. Aber die Lage machts. Daher der vierte Punkt.
Rustic, rural, nice for trips in good weather. The menu is very extensive. Something for every taste. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was rural and cool. In summer it is possible to sit outside. Of course I'll try that out. All in all, worth recommending.
A restaurant you'll only ever visit once. The food was carelessly cooked (some of it frozen), poorly presented, and served without enthusiasm. The table was dirty and was only wiped clean after we asked (and even then, not completely). The prices are still pretty reasonable, though, considering you don't expect frozen food. Once and never again.
Very nice staff. The food was very, very good. Large portions, super tasty. I can only recommend it. In summer there is also a beer garden. Reservation is required.
