I've been there for dinner several times and I think I won't go there again. The food is great and the service is quick and always nice. But the atmosphere is simply catastrophic. It's far too loud and far too narrow, you can hear the people behind and next to you much louder than you can. No matter what time of day it is. Going out for a romantic meal is completely impossible.
I know the employees can't help it, but I personally can't bear it anymore.
We arrived at 1 p.m. and were greeted at the door and told to come back at 2 p.m.
The dining room smelled so bad of garlic that we wouldn't go back there again.
After a long time, I ordered a portion of fries with curry ketchup and mayo. The fries tasted almost unseasoned, and the ketchup was mostly sour and watery. The mayonnaise was a French fry spread and tasted of what it's made of: chemicals. So, I'll be checking that box and not ordering again.
Constantly changing staff is not a good idea for a restaurant. The same owner is now called Markt 13, even if he has changed his restaurant name.
Closed forever.
Went there for the cabbage tour. Food was really tasty and plentiful when it came, there were 2 tables and one of us had already had soup and we didn't get anything after we spoke to the staff several times. Nobody felt responsible for us. Many students probably had no overview, unfortunately. Otherwise it was good. Accordingly, the blessings came slowly.
Enjoyed the delicious rib buffet yesterday. Really very tasty.
There were four of us and one of our group, my husband, only ordered an appetizer.
Baked goat cheese with salad.
The plate was 50% salad with not enough dressing.
Next to it was a 5 mark, flamed goat cheese thaler.
We all looked stupid. Even the friendly waitress seemed embarrassed.
The price/performance ratio was really questionable.
Otherwise we were always very satisfied in the location.
I hope the post makes you think.
Disappointing New Year's Eve menu for over €100
My partner and I were really looking forward to the New Year's Eve menu, which was advertised on the homepage when booking with the words "The two menu variants were put together by our kitchen director and our kitchen team is guaranteed to make the turn of the year a culinary highlight - stay tuned." became. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but a culinary highlight.
The kitchen tried fine dining but couldn't make it work. The main course was cold and when we were finally able to complain about this to a waitress (there were too few of them and they were barely visible), she dryly said she would pass it on to the kitchen. In addition, the portion sizes were often different and the plates were arranged differently for the same dishes. This shouldn't happen to the kitchen. Above all, the waiter must not serve two obviously different plates next to each other at the same table. For example, in the main course pictured, there was a mountain of cress on my friend's plate and only three poor stalks on my plate. Only the soup was identical for us - the kitchen managed to fill the glass straight away.
For the price and the advertising, it was a bitter disappointment.
Out of time:
Due to a lack of alternatives, we came here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The roast I had was extremely dry, it tasted old and warmed up. The sauce was bland with canned corn. Unfortunately, the fries also tasted too much like old fry fat...
The taste was very good. The employee was friendly. The tables were set up very attractively. Toilets clean. Cash and card payment possible. The only thing we didn't like was the water in plastic bottles, it didn't look appealing and for €8, a carafe or a glass bottle would be more appealing.
Simply delicious! Great food at fair prices! The beer was delicious and in the best atmosphere with friends it turned into a lovely evening in the outdoor area with a roof.
