Restaurant Strandperle in Großenbrode

We were there at the beginning of October. And we oriented ourselves on the posted menu. We were thrilled that there was something for everyone. Whether we have had the experience when there is so much choice. Not all dishes are automatically cooked to a good quality. And unfortunately that's how it was. A lot of what we ordered pointed to tk goods. And then for these prices. Yum. The schnitzel as well as the tuned pizza and shrimp skewers were pretty good. One order was also steak. Unfortunately, he couldn't take part in the rest of the vacation. Because unfortunately the meat was no longer good. What the person noticed when eating it was that it tasted very strange. But he ate it out of decency because of the price. Yes, the food came very quickly after ordering. And we were 8 people. And I found the staff to be fake friendly.

We were on vacation and ate at this restaurant often. The service was great, very nice service and incredibly tasty food. We can only recommend it.

We had dinner and ordered 2x grill pan (senior plate) with a wheat beer. Ambiance 1a. Good portion and everything very tasty 😋. Great service, very nice operation. We can highly recommend it. We'll definitely come back.

The food was delicious and obviously freshly prepared and probably not convenience. What was annoying was the slightly dingy appearance (cobwebs on the walls; floor not clean; plates with damp spots). The bill receipt was presented with the note that a dish had been forgotten to be paid for. Instead of a cancellation and a new receipt, the addition was handwritten. I have no idea what the tax says about that. Therefore 2** for the service.

If you are in Großenbrode, this restaurant is one of the best and is worth a visit. We got a table for four people at short notice. When it comes to choosing dishes, there should actually be something for every taste, there is fish, schnitzel, steaks and pizza. We had 2x pizza, 1x rump steak and 1x fish. All of these dishes were delicious, so delicious that we took a pizza to take home with us. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a small harbor bar, which isn't a bad thing at sea, it was very cozy. From our place we had a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. The staff was more than friendly, which makes us want to come back here on our next vacation in Großenbrode. Were there for dinner. Pollock and pizza. The fish was good, the pizza also tasted good for me but was way too thick, which is my personal taste and therefore full marks for the food. The service, well. My empty wheat beer glass was taken by 3 waiters and the apparent boss, but no one asked if I wanted another one. When I asked, one was brought to me and the request for the bill was no different. The request was acknowledged, but nothing followed for a long time and there was hectic wandering around. The boss's appearance could be improved by a shirt instead of a T-shirt. The window sills could have used a vacuum cleaner. On the second visit, the service was much better, which is why this point was upgraded from 3 to 4 stars. Ok, we were there for the second time today to have dinner and what can I say, the service was excellent. Super friendly, helpful, attentive and accommodating, just perfect. Today there was the sea pan and the grill pan. Both very tasty and very plentiful. Even the boss asked if it tasted good and was attentive. No comparison to the first visit. So I am changing the service quality from 3 to 4 stars.

How could it be otherwise, I ate fish. Simply great, my daughter also loved the salmon lasagne. I would eat there again and again.

Been there 3 days ago, ordered plaice Finkenwerter style with fried potatoes instead of parsley potatoes (24.50 EURO) with cutter? 400 - 500 grams are advertised. Plaice came, about 150 grams of fish, the rest bones like from a shark, which is what the cook has to notice when he puts a starving fish in the pan. Fried potatoes floating in oil as well as the poor fish. Because I was hungry I ordered a 26cm pizza for 13.50 euros. It was ok but too expensive. Then the bill was 1.50 extra for the fried potatoes. Waitress apologized 100 times. You could have given a schnapps on the house, but oh well. I don't need to go there anymore.

Locally located directly on the beach promenade with a view of the sea. A large children's, fish and senior menu. Delicious drinks and good home-style food, we enjoyed it very much. What was particularly striking was the extremely friendly and nice service. Incredibly personable and very professional!

We were simply forgotten after ordering. The drinks came at some point, but we would probably still have to wait for the food. This was served at the wrong table and then back to the kitchen. When we asked, the service became unfriendly and abusive. Never again!

Disastrous food, poor service and questionable hygiene The sea pan was cold and tasted warmed up. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. The tomato soup was more like a can of chunky tomatoes heated up in the microwave. There was no soap in the toilet and it wasn't refilled despite notice.

Delicious pizza and child-friendly staff. The children's pizzas are a good size for children or people who want to watch their shape. There was a lot of salmon in the salmon lasagna and not a lot of pasta. All in all, highly recommended. There are children's chairs on request. Payment with VISA works.

The Strandperle restaurant is located directly on the beach promenade in Großenbrode. There is also an outdoor area. The food selection is good. The prices are slightly higher. The service is friendly and attentive.

We were there around lunchtime and just wanted a quick drink and some ice cream. The menu was brought to us quickly, but taking the order and bringing the drinks took almost half an hour in total. The service was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed.

Went there on a weekday and sat outside in the beach chairs. The atmosphere outside is great. The service was very attentive, but unfortunately apparently not enough for the number of guests. Unfortunately, there were almost 10 minutes between the reception with seating instructions and the first question about drinks. We also had a lot of time when ordering food. The food was okay, but not a highlight. The fried potatoes were very fatty. On the one hand, you don't want to have dry potatoes, but if there are a good 4 tablespoons of oil left on the plate later or the potatoes are soaked, it's somehow too much of a good thing. However, the meat was very tasty and fried/cooked to perfection.

Excellent cuisine in Großenbrode... we drove 750 km on the recommendation to enjoy the outstanding pizza in the Strandperle... every bite was a poem... the salad was second to none... we'll be back

An integral part of our vacation in Großenbrode for years. There's something for everyone. Keep it up.

Frozen warming kitchen: Cheapest frozen schnitzel in the hairdresser, fries without salt from the same, ready-made mushroom sauce on top, the Jägerschnitzel is ready for €19. Salad clipped together from 3 bags, ready-made dressing over it, and the salad is ready for €15. That's why the order only took 5 minutes, despite being busy. What people want here. Fills you up and is “affordable”.

Everything was satisfactory, for me the meat could have been a little softer. The food could use a little more seasoning, but otherwise it's great.

Pure beach feeling - 6 out of 5 stars Were there again yesterday and completely satisfied. Great service, good food and great drinks at absolutely fair prices. The location is wonderful, so you can enjoy a great view of the sea at lunchtime and in the evening. DEFINITELY recommended, especially the dishes with fish :)

Service was very friendly and accommodating. Price-performance ratio was great, schnitzel with pepper cream sauce €18.50, fried potatoes with shrimp and fish €19.50. My son said: I have a stomach ache but I have to keep eating because it's so good... the furniture is good, so it's not broken or anything, but it's not up to date. All in all, a very successful visit, happy to come again at any time😊

A completely overwhelmed staff. No allocation of tables. The staff would have to assign themselves to each table to avoid confusion. Twice we received the wrong drinks. The food for our boy was more of a children's portion, even though we ordered a normal portion. A waiter constantly came with food that was for other tables. The food was a bit too little for us and had too little taste for the price.

Wir waren als Freundestruppe hier zum Abendessen. Da es geregnet hat, hatten wir nachgefragt ob noch ein Tisch im Trockenen frei wäre. Wir wurden vom Personal zu einem Tisch geführt der auch im Trockenen war. Wir bekamen sehr zügig unserer Getränke und unser Essen. Wir waren gerade am Essen, plötzlich kam ein anderes Personal und meinte das hier reserviert ist und wir dort nicht sitzen könnten. Uns wurde gesagt das wir uns ja an den Tisch gegenüber setzen könnten, dieser Tisch+ Stühle waren komplett nass. Organisation sehr mangelhaft und Personal teilweise unfreundlich. Leider auch falsches Essen bekommen als bestellt. Wir würden es nicht weiterempfehlen und kommen nicht gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant befindet sich gleich am Strand. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist klasse. Wir hatten Fisch und Pizza und hatten nichts zu beanstanden. Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Der Fisch mit einer Fischcreme Sauce war gut zubereitet. Die Bratkartoffeln waren etwas ölig aber gut abgeschmeckt. Alles in allem kein Sternelokal aber recht gut!

We spontaneously decided to eat here in the evening. Unfortunately, we were immediately denied a table inside because there were supposedly a lot of reservations. So we sat outside. Then for a long time no one came to even bring us a card. We had to follow up on that. After we ordered drinks and food, we saw that other guests inside had gotten a table without any problems (we noticed from conversations outside that they hadn't made a reservation either!). After another hour we asked what our food was like. One employee insulted another colleague - an absolute no-go in my opinion! Under no circumstances should you speak badly about colleagues in front of guests. So we were offered a schnapps to make up for it… We declined! Absolutely no recommendation for this restaurant! The service is terrible! The meal was okay.

We decided to eat at Strandperle. Unfortunately we didn't reserve in advance as this was a spontaneous decision. When we asked if there was still a table available, this was answered in the negative and we were told that unfortunately there was no table available. We then sat outside. After about half an hour, four women came who also spontaneously wanted to eat. They immediately got a table inside, which we found strange. But ok, it worked outside under the spotlights. But when we had to wait a good over an hour for our food and the women mentioned above had already gotten the food, we asked what was wrong with our food. We were then informed that they had forgotten the food. Shortly afterwards, an employee told us that the colleague had not processed the receipt, and another colleague said shortly afterwards that the problem was because the kitchen was working in a mess. Colleagues were insulted at the table, which is not possible. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time and definitely the last time for us! Thank goodness there are enough other restaurants here to eat.

Unfortunately you have to give at least one star. But that was the greatest gastronomic drama I have ever experienced. Even in a loveless canteen you get better food. We had 2 “normal” pizzas and a children’s pizza, although you really have to say that a frozen dough blank that is also very small for a restaurant that also calls itself a “pizzeria” is a joke. We also had a portion of children's spaghetti with minced meat sauce, which was inedible. The sauce didn't taste fresh and was a complete disaster in terms of taste. And to top it all off, the pasta tasted like the fridge and was cold. Really can't recommend it.

I can't find anything more than average. Here everyone is sure to find something on the “mixed” menu, a clear focus on the high season and lots of guests. If in the pre-season, with a fraction of the capacity, the wrong drink is brought and then the food is brought without any special request, the food has to take it out... it doesn't. Pizza was delicious, but you can also get it in many other restaurants. Conclusion: You can eat there, but you don't have to.

The restaurant closes at 2 p.m. and reopens at 5 p.m. We were here on May 14, 2024 at 1:40 p.m. and wanted to eat. No problem for the employees. We were allowed to choose in peace and were served very tasty food. Thank you for that and for the friendly service. We would like to come again

We got 3 pizzas to take away today, I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious this pizza was, fresh mushrooms, ham and lots of cheese were delicious, the other two pizzas were also very tasty, about 26 cm in size, good value for money 👍

Thank you for the good dinner. We had cod and lumberjack steak. Well seasoned, well fried, generous portions, homemade salad dressing. No bagged salad or anything like that. To be honest, I avoided the direct promenade things for years. But I was very positively surprised. Nice staff who didn't come across as stressed despite the rush after work. Dog-friendliness was immediately noticeable. We will be back. All the best.

Good German cuisine, very attentive staff, requests from the chef are promptly fulfilled, such as particularly crispy fried potatoes with little fat. The herring fillets are great. The 3 fried herrings too. Nice, clean ambience inside. The location on the pier is also wonderful.

When we entered the restaurant there was a distinct smell of old frying oil. This in combination with the not particularly inviting atmosphere made us leave straight away.

Danger! This restaurant attempts to dispute and delete bad reviews as quickly as possible. My wife's review was reported for alleged "defamation". You probably can't deal with bad reviews here, so feel free to report it to Google! Disappointing!

Super Scholle! Draußen ist es nett. Drinnen ist es in die Jahre gekommen und darf gerne mal renoviert werden. Der Service hängt stark vom Personal ab. Jedoch liegt das, wie bei vielen Gastronomen in der Gegend, auch am Personalmangel.

Freundlichkeit i.o. , Essen war gut , Preis Leistung ok aber wenn man ohne Salat bestellt trotzdem Preis für inkl. Salat bezahlt bei 3 Gerichten und anstatt bestellten Seniorenteller normalen Teller bekommen was ja passieren kann aber dann bitte nächstes mal auch nur für bestellte Ware abrechnen. Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder aber achten nächstes mal auf die Rechnung.

Angenehm: Draußen genießen aber windgeschützt durch Glasscheiben. Essen: ok bis ganz lecker. Gesamte Promenade schließt leider zu früh. Wir konnten jedoch sitzen bleiben obwohl Licht aus, alles abgeschlossen, Personal im Feierabend und somit nicht abgeräumt. Wir fanden es cool … Einziger Wermutstropfen: Für nächsten Tag für 16 Leute reserviert. Leider klappte das nicht. So wurden andere Gäste weggeschickt (schade für sie). Die Bestellvorgänge, die Bereitstellung der Speisen und die Bezahlungen wurden zu einer nervlichen Herausforderung. Alles in allem aber ok. Fazit: Empfehlenswert !

Essen war ziemlich mies um es gelinde auszudrücken ... wenn ein Essen nach 5 Minuten auf dem Tisch steht ... war's wohl vorher schon fast fertig und somit nix mit Frisch auf den Tisch Das Ambiente ist auch nix ... alt und staubig Schade ... an der Promenade hätten wir mehr erwartet

Essen sehr lecker - Bedienung sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben zum mitnehmen bestellt und es war ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen wieder.
