Very nice restaurant with a touch of Italian cuisine. The hamburgers are amazing. I had the crispy chicken, which was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended. P.S. I would eat there again.

We were there with four women and six children. The food was super delicious, and even the kids managed to finish their meal, which has never happened before for some of them. 😅 So it must have been really tasty. Unfortunately, the young girl, who barely understood us, was a bit overwhelmed and didn't ask for help. Don't let that deter you; just ask if she can get some help. 😊 But all in all, we had a lovely evening with great food, and the chef was super nice too. 😊😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were guests with two adults and a toddler (2 years old) and paid €55 for food and drinks – absolutely fair for the quality and service. I would particularly like to emphasize the child-friendliness: There was a high chair, crayons, and a coloring book, and we even got a quiet corner with a reserved table. Perfect for a relaxed meal with a child. The food arrived after about an hour, around 7 p.m. – served fresh and hot. The wait is certainly due to the fresh preparation, which we consider a very positive, as nothing here seems pre-made. The service was extremely friendly, diligent, and very accommodating. The ambiance is also great – with beautiful decor, a Baltic Sea feel, and the option to eat on the terrace. There is parking right outside, and there's even an electric car charging station. One small improvement: Paper towels in the bathroom/toilet would be handy. Overall, though, it was a very nice evening. We'd be happy to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Standvej Bar! 🌊🍴

Walk in and feel at home... very friendly and dedicated service (where else do you find that? 😊), and the food is absolutely delicious. Since everything is freshly prepared (which we really appreciate), it takes a while... yes, but it's definitely worth it. Unfriendly and rude responses when I asked about the possibility of ordering takeaway...despite a clear application, I was initially met with a curt "no." When I pointed out that this was possible, I received a shrug and the comment that if I really wanted to wait 90 minutes, I would have to wait...all in a very condescending tone. Therefore, I can't comment on the quality of the food, of course, but I don't intend to ever find out...

It was a lovely evening, the portions were good and plentiful. Addendum: We ate everything here twice 👍 We're sorry that a nearby restaurant is ruining the others with its cheap prices. The local community needs to do something about this.

Hey, A great server had the place under control. Whether it was assigning seats, ordering takeout, ordering in, and everything else. The food was also good, nicely presented, and plentiful. For me, a clear recommendation in Großenbrode.

It's a shame the opening hours haven't been updated. They're only open from 4:00 PM. A juice bar.

We were here on vacation for two weeks and ate at Strandvej 4-5 times or ordered takeaway. Every time, the food was delicious and freshly prepared. Sometimes it took a little longer, but that was communicated beforehand. So it wasn't a problem for us, and our children were treated very kindly and friendly. For me, it was the best schnitzel I've had in ages! Many thanks for that, and also to the great service staff, who are always friendly and helpful despite the stress and busyness. A big thank you, of course, also to the manager :-)

Very tasty food, great location! Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our food with four children, which is probably due to the fact that everything is freshly prepared. However, it loses one star for this, as this could be organized differently. In my opinion, they also lack a server, as it takes a long time to get served or drinks when the place is full. Otherwise, the food here is very tasty. We'd be happy to come back on our next vacation.

Takeaway food. Okay, it was super busy, but the Strandvej pizza only had 5 small chunks of Serrano cheese on it. The pizza was very cold/undercooked, with a very light crust. Tip: If ordering takeaway pizza, maybe add the arugula in a separate container!? The Mista salad was flavorless. The other pizzas, on the other hand, were "overly seasoned." We absolutely don't understand the other 5-star reviews. What a shame.

With super friendly staff, good drinks, and comfortable seating, this restaurant is perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening. Very child- and dog-friendly. Advance reservations or pre-ordering (pick-up is also possible!) are recommended, as the restaurant is very popular.

Great menu with a lot of choice. I ordered a fish platter with prawns, salmon, plaice, and cod. On my plate was a piece of cod and three pieces of plaice. When I asked, I was told that the prawns were sold out. The chef then came to our table and said that they had sold out of prawns and salmon, and that's why there was more plaice on the plate. I think something like that could have been communicated when ordering. But the jacket potato and the fish were very tasty. My daughter's schnitzel was very large and tasty. The sauce wasn't really our taste.

My wife and I spent a week in Grossenbrode and went out to eat every evening. Because of the many positive reviews, I called to make an appointment. We were not disappointed! We received a very warm welcome. The menu isn't extensive, but it does have some interesting options. The website stated that they only use fresh ingredients and that it might take a while. This was also the case for us. Our food was not only beautifully presented, but also tasted excellent. The prices are reasonable. However, in order to be able to take food and drinks orders from all the new guests in a timely manner, we felt that they needed an additional person in the service or kitchen. The owner/manager was also very busy in the kitchen and therefore sometimes absent for a little too long. This caused one couple and a group to become a little restless. However, the restaurant is highly recommended!

We were guests at the Holiday Vital Resort and picked up three different takeaway meals from Strandvej. (Salad, schnitzel, burgers, pizza, and various appetizers.) We're usually a bit skeptical when a restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. BUT, everything was super good and delicious. The service was excellent and super friendly. For example, they even wrapped the bread for our bruschetta to prevent it from getting soggy. So 👍👍👍 thank you so much!

At first, we thought, well, the young man seems to be all alone. He was bustling around in the kitchen, behind the counter. Apparently, his employee had stood him up. But he managed to get by with friendly and efficient work. Then help for the kitchen finally arrived. The food was sooooo delicious and plentiful, filling you up. The dining room is very attractively decorated, but outside on the terrace, a capable hand is practically needed 😉 because plants that have been dead for a long time and thistles growing through the wooden beams are clearly not fun to see when you walk in. But apart from that...highly recommended 😉😉🥰🥰🥰

Was there yesterday with three friends and wanted to have a schnitzel! The Coca Cola we got was completely rejected and came straight from a pet bottle. The béarnaise sauce only tasted like butter and was completely loose! The fries taste like Mc Donald's! Like I said, the worst thing I've ever eaten!

Some of the food was cold, unfortunately the meat was stringy. The room was so cold that you had to put on a jacket while eating.

Ordered the food at a certain time two hours in advance, the store wasn't even half full and we still had to wait over half an hour until we got our food!!!

With such love❤👍. We ate there for a week and there wasn't anything that wasn't tasty. He was never in a bad mood. And guys, it can take a little longer...he does a lot of things on his own - which we really admired. We felt so comfortable. The food is simply amazing. (My pizza with hollandaise wasn't on the menu but he conjured it up. Thank you, thank you again for that. We're looking forward to the next time 👍👍 would have liked to say goodbye😊 but see you soon.

The pizzas are wafer-thin, crispy and deliciously topped, the burgers are large and delicious, as are the schnitzels, prawns in a wonderfully spicy marinade and the salad is fresh and flawless. The fresh bruschetta is also highly recommended. Fair prices and nice atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

We went for dinner with the whole family and grandchildren. Even though it's certainly not on the beach promenade, we can recommend it without reservation. The service was accommodating to our (children's) requests, and the food was freshly prepared and cooked. We all enjoyed it very much, and we highly recommend the restaurant. We ordered food here to pick up once during our vacation at the holiday resort. It took a long time until we could get the food. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't to our taste at all, no spices etc. Bolognese with ketchup or something similar. The schnitzels were okay, the fried potatoes were probably in the pan for a bit long. The small mixed salad that went with the schnitzel was rocket, which was served mixed with the fried potatoes in the Styrofoam box. We were very disappointed and would not order here again.

Very nice reception. The best fish plate we have eaten recently. Everything fresh from salad to fish. Fried to perfection. Courteous service. Hospitality very high. Price/performance ratio is right here. The only small point of criticism was that the rooms were a bit too cold, although we were the first guests in the restaurant that day.

Freundliches Personal was aber noch eingearbeitet wird- was den netten Inhaber mehrfach auf den Plan gerufen hat. Leider etwas hoher Geräuschpegel in der Gaststube. Zum Essen : lecker tagessuppe leider etwas laff. Beim Thema würzen ist der Koch sehr zurückhaltend. Schön wäre es wenn hochwertige Pfeffer und Salz Mühle am Tisch zur Verfügung stehen würden. Das bruschetta war eher langweilig. Der frische Salatteller hätte ein pfiffiges Dressing gebraucht. Die fischplatte war frischer Fisch leider ohne pfiff, über die Beilagen Bratkartoffeln reden wir besser nicht. Der Beilagensalat zeigt das man weiß wie es geht- frisch und mit leckerem Dressing. Das Highlight war der Rosé Wein-absolut lecker und preislich auf dem Boden geblieben- dazu ein wirklich gutes Mineralwasser. Wir geben dem Restaurant nächstes Jahr eine zweite Chance

And when the cook (chef) comes to the table, it is a very nice gesture. We enjoyed being guests here and would love to come back if we can.

We went to Strandvej for dinner with our little daughter today. The little one was given coloring pads and pens immediately after her arrival. For the starter we had shrimp with homemade pizza bread and for the main course we had burgers and the crispy chicken portion for kids. Everything was simply very tasty and we waited a little longer than usual. But if the quality is right, then it doesn't matter. We were very excited!!! Service was also great, requested very often without seeming intrusive. Just a small note: I would pay more for the quality. ;-)
