Essen wahr ganz okey eine riesige Portion. Der Service war ganz okey haben am Anfang einfach nichts gemerkt. Ambiente ist ganz Oke nichts spektakuläres. Preise sind Oke.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Restaurant Nordlicht. Das Fischfilet hatte eine super Größe und war auf den Punkt zubereitet, das Kartoffelgratin war einfach nur lecker. Dazu kommt eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das absolute Highlight ist aber der wunderschöne Blick direkt auf die Seebrücke. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und saßen draußen. Der eine oder andere Stuhl war schon etwas durchgesessen. Das Essen war lecker und reichlich. Die Preise okay und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Nordlicht kann man ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

War ok. Nicht besonders toll, aber auch nicht schlecht. Der Service war gut, das Essen würde ich als durchschnittlich beurteilen.

Service gut, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen! Außenterrasse schön zum Verweilen. Alkoholfreies Bier schlimm (Corona Cero), Essen nur für anspruchslose Menschen. Backkartoffel glasig, geschmacklich mies, Salat und Dressing alles Fertigprodukte. Lachsburger und Pommes einigermaßen genießbar, Ketchup Portion einer unbekannten Marke(unangenehm im Geschmack, zum Glück kleine Portion, Portionsbeutel nicht besonders umweltbewusst). Lieblos angerichtet und insgesamt viel zu teuer für Fertigprodukte.

Sehr nettes Personal. Essen auch sehr lecker. Haben leider über 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet!! Verbesserungswürdig!!!

Wir waren an Christihimmelfahrt spontan mit 8 Personen dort. Eigentlich zu so einem Tag ohne Reservierung keine Chnace. Der Service hat dennoch einen Weg gefunden uns "unterzubringen" und wir wurden mit einem wirklich netten und guten Service bedient. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, das Essen von allen war sehr lecker, appetitlich serviert und wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Vielen lieben Dank. Zwei Tage später sind wkr wieder dort gewesen. Der Spargel Burger war seht lecker und außergewöhnlich.

Leider wurde unsere bestellte Essen von der Bedienung nicht registriert. Auf Nachfrage nach guten 30 Minuten Wartezeit wurde uns gesagt, ich habe es vergessen die Bestellung einzubuchen. Schade, aber wir sind dann ohne Essen gegangen

Das Nordlicht hat sich nach vielen Jahren Ostseeurlaub als Tipp Nr.1 entwickelt 👍 Bildet man eine Schnittmenge aus Frischer ,leckerer,viel hausgemachter und auch vielseitiger Speisekarte, Location, gepflegten Getränke, Service und Preis/Leistung dann bekommt das Nordlicht immer den Spitzenplatz.🔥 Ala Carte ist alles bestens,man sollte unbedingt bei Gelegenheit den Mittagstisch testen, sowie gibst einiges vom Fass und spritzige Getränke für durstige Kehlen.💯 Unbedingt das Hasseröder Granat probieren. Der Service ist nett und völlig entspannt und gibt sich sehr vie Mühe. Wir kehren ein so oft es eben geht 🤘🤗😘

...Scampi mit Reis und frischem Ofengemüse; Zucchini, Paprika mit Zwiebeln und frischem Knoblauch. Leckere Salatbeilage. Das ganze in einer kleinen Gusseisen Pfanne angerichtet. LECKER, LECKER! Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Auch der Zander, dss Schweine Filet und Schnitzelburger. Alles sehr frisch und sehr schmackhaft! Unbedingt zu empfehlen :))))

Ganz ehrliche und gute Küche. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist für die Lage auf jeden Fall top. Freundlicher Service und das Essen kommt umgehend. Schöner windgeschützter Aussenbereich. Saubere Toiletten sind vorhanden. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant Nordlicht auf jeden Fall weiter.

Um 17:20 Uhr nach einen Tisch für 8 Personen gefragt und ich wurde zurück gewiesen da alles reserviert sei. Aktuelle Auslastung war bei 50% bei der Anzahl an leeren Tischen. Selbst ein 10er Tisch war frei. Um 19:00 Uhr war das Restaurant fast leer und der 10er Tisch war die ganze Zeit nicht besetzt gewesen. Auf dje Antwort vom Inhaber kann ich nur ich sagen das wir bis 19:00 an der Meerbühne standen und die ganze Zeit Blick auf das Restaurant hatten. Kann ja sein das sie den 10er Tisch im hinteren teil nach 19;00 Uhr besetzt haben. Wo wir da waren war er leer. Und wenn sie meinen es würde nicht der Wahrheit entsprechen können gern noch weiter 5 Personen die das gesehen haben eine negative Bewertung hinterlassen.

Very friendly and fast service. The manager is very accommodating, and you even get a free welcome drink, which is very rare even these days. The food is excellent, very tasty, and very plentiful. We'll be happy to come back.

We were there last Friday and immediately made a reservation for Saturday. The food and service were excellent. Large portions and everything was delicious. We're already looking forward to next year. And you don't have to order a salad; it's included with every dish. Simply fantastic!

Burger buns burnt and hair in the food and then make the customer feel like it's their fault and the hair is blown onto the burger...very bad handling of criticism

Not particularly cozy. The food was a bit disappointing; the schnitzel had been pounded so hard that it fell apart when cut, and there was no cream in the cream sauce. Furthermore, the schnitzel had a very bland flavor, as if the seasoning had been forgotten. The staff was very friendly.

Delicious food, generous portions, and very child-friendly. Not only are there several (clean!) high chairs, but there's also children's cutlery for the little ones. And the prices are perfectly reasonable, too.

Great schnitzels with a wide selection of delicious side dishes. What I particularly liked was that you can customize your schnitzel dish, including side dishes and sauces. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We were there with a large group, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Whether it was a fish dish, a pasta dish, or a vegetable stir-fry, everyone's plate was emptied. We even found the price quite reasonable considering the special location by the sea.

We've eaten at Nordlicht several times now. Everything we've tried there has been delicious. The food arrived fairly quickly. The portions were sufficient for us. The service was always friendly and attentive.

Simple food that was served lukewarm in less than 10 minutes. And if a chef can't offer freshly prepared fried fish, they shouldn't offer it as a ready-made product on the coast. The product served can be found at a discount store for 90 cents. The service was friendly, but there was no request for dessert or another drink. Overall, not recommended.

Very friendly staff and simply incredibly delicious food!

We ate there with children, and unfortunately, the wait for our food was well over an hour – completely unsuitable for families with small children. The schnitzel we ordered was poorly presented: simply topped with pineapple, ham, and melted cheese, but not even baked. For €18, we would have expected significantly more quality and care. The other dishes were good. Overall, not a recommendable experience – a shame!

The Nordlicht Restaurant is highly recommended, as it not only has delicious food for every taste, but also places a premium on service and friendliness – unfortunately, that can't be said for every restaurant there ;) You'll always receive a warm welcome, and the food is truly delicious. For this reason, we always enjoyed eating there on the terrace or inside during our vacation. The location is ideal: on the beach and the beach promenade with a view of the sea.

We drove here today especially to enjoy the food. We were impressed by the food and service here and there last year. It was once again delicious and plentiful. Our special requests were also fulfilled. The large salad was prepared with fresh ingredients, and the schnitzel strips were delicious. The pasta with salmon is also highly recommended.

Right on the promenade, it looks rather simple... But inside, there's a surprise :) Very modern decor, the food is super delicious and the portions are generous! The service was very friendly and courteous. Reservations are recommended!

We ate at your place today. The large mixed salad with kidney beans and bread. There were four kidney beans on the salad, and three thin slices of baguette on the bread. The rest was all from a packet. Just a suggestion: for €11.80, you really need to work on the quality! My husband's food was very good, apart from the salad (same problem).

A restaurant like you'd never expect. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating, where you'll be served promptly. If you're having a schnitzel, you can choose from a variety of variations. But the best part is that you can choose your own side dish at no extra charge! And then the plate arrives, everything beautifully presented and delicious! Truly delicious! You rarely find something like this. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Simple restaurant with very friendly service in a prime location. We've been here several times over the past few years and have always received a warm welcome. Since our daughter has celiac disease, we have to be careful when eating out. The waitress and chef were very proactive in accommodating our requests. Thank you :-)

We're regulars because the friendly service and delicious food never fail to impress. You can sit outside on the promenade (even in beach chairs) or in the cozy, maritime restaurant. We always enjoy coming here and are always very satisfied and full. My favorite restaurant and a must-visit when in Großenbrode.

We ordered the salmon fillet with croquettes and once fried fish with fried potatoes. We also had tzatziki beforehand. It was just really tasty. Tzatziki better than some Greeks. Our only regret is that we didn't test the northern lights sooner. The service is very friendly and attentive. Above all, very fond of children. We haven't eaten so well in a long time.

We have been coming here for many years and are always impressed by the good service, friendly staff and of course the food. The Northern Lights are our first port of call when we are in Großenbrode.

This really great restaurant is right on the promenade. The waitresses are all very friendly and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. And best of all: the prices are crazy! The schnitzel (huge) with paprika sauce and side dish costs just €13.50. An unbeatable price given the huge quantity. Always my pleasure!

Selten so eine tolle, kinderfreundliche Bedienung erlebt. Sie hat mit den Kindern Spaß gemacht, ohne dass wir fragen mussten einen Räuberteller und Kinderbesteck gebracht, die Kindergetränke waren direkt mit Strohhalm und auch Ketchup hat sie von sich aus für die Kids gebracht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend große Portionen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Far too little food for the price, or far too high a price.

Will remain a 'unique experience' for us! Once and not again. The only positive thing was the lady from the service. Food was half cold, portions small or tiny, salad garnish larger (?). The taste was mediocre and the food didn't seem to be of very high quality. The apologetic look from the service lady at the end said it all when we pointed this out. This statement from the guests seems to have sounded familiar to her. Unfortunately not recommended in our opinion. The wobbly plastic tables were also questionable.

Recommended without reservation! We like to eat outside with our 2 children on vacation. What can I say, I ate here on the day of arrival and went here every day after that! That must mean something! The staff is absolutely friendly and there is even a large selection for children! It's rare that I think there are 6 or 7 things for children on the menu! The food was delicious, no matter what we ate and the kids ate everything too! Thank you for the beautiful days in the evenings, especially that you can eat outside in a secluded area, even though you are right on the promenade. We will definitely come back on our next vacation!

Today we spontaneously ate in the Northern Lights (2 adults and 1 child). We have never eaten such good herring before. Furthermore, the staff was super nice. We will be back definitely.

We sat very nicely with the evening sun. Unfortunately the food was just ok! The braised cabbage was undercooked and the salad was one of the worst I've eaten. Looks nice and fast service!
