The "Großenbrode" restaurant is a truly fantastic place. The owner and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The location, in the center of town, is a bit hidden away, about 1 km from the beach, resorts, and campsite, but it's definitely worth the detour. You'll be treated to excellent and delicious food in a lovely setting. We've been coming to Großenbrode for many years and enjoy your culinary enrichment. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Perfect stop on the way to the ferry in Puttgarden. Very easy access from the highway. The food was amazing, and the service aswell! Come hungry, as the portion size is on the larger side of the spectrum 😁

After a long time, we returned to Großenbrode for a vacation, partly because of this very restaurant. The service and the quality of the food (we were there every evening) are still fantastic, and it's simply a pleasure to eat there. We've been here for 5 years now. Unfortunately, this is only our first time at this restaurant. It was one of the best meals I've had in Großenbrode. The staff is very friendly and polite. Highly recommended! A year later, we were looking forward to it again and weren't disappointed, but unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as before.

My wife and I spent a week in Grossenbrode and went out to dinner every evening. Due to the many positive reviews, we returned several times. The service was always very friendly and attentive. The menu is varied and the prices are reasonable. The food always arrived quickly, fresh, and delicious at our outdoor table. Although there were a few beach chairs set up, it didn't really create a special atmosphere. The paved floor somehow made me feel like I was sitting on the street. Nevertheless, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Best schnitzel ever ever ever...

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner yesterday – and were absolutely thrilled! Even the table reservation through Open Table worked perfectly and at very short notice. The reception was friendly, and even our dogs were welcome. The food was outstanding, very fresh, and incredibly flavorful. Everything (food and drinks) was lovingly and stylishly presented. We would also like to particularly praise the incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous service. We would love to come back again if we have the chance.

We were spontaneously looking for a restaurant and got a table here. A very nice, bright atmosphere. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. Everyone there was very friendly and fond of children. The drinks and food came very quickly and the food was still hot. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Without being snobby, we were extremely satisfied. From the starter of fried mushrooms to the main course, the lady's plate (which is still too big). I had the grill plate. I've never had such tender chicken breast. The same goes for the beef. Perfectly cooked. Delicious fried potatoes. Even the dessert was the baked apple rings. And a delicious Moor pear. It was quite expensive, but I ordered a double one anyway. I was blown away by that too. Even the staff were super friendly. Especially the waiter Chris. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Very good service. The ambiance is nice too. All in all, a great evening. Thank you very much.

When you receive such wonderful service and the food is also great, there are still wonderful restaurateurs out there! We were thrilled, especially with the service! Chris did a fantastic job. After another little dog made a bit of a fuss about our Frida, we were moved. (It was great how the suggestion was made.) Our drinks arrived quickly and efficiently. Very friendly staff, very tasty dishes. Went there for dinner both evenings. My husband ate schnitzel twice, I ate shrimp and cheese balls on the first evening and cod burger on the second evening. The cod was juicy and the fries/potato wedges were totally crispy and delicious. Clear recommendation! Google suggests rating parameters for hotel even though it is a restaurant, that could be adjusted.

This will be our new favorite restaurant on the Baltic Sea! We've been to Großenbrode and Heiligenhafen several times, and over Easter we went to the Großenbrode restaurant for the first time - because it was drizzling and we wanted to treat ourselves to something nice. And it was worth it! When we made our reservation over the phone, we had the impression that they were nice! This was confirmed when we visited the restaurant. Great staff, very friendly, courteous and competent, even special requests for our allergy-stricken daughter were happily fulfilled! Plus the wide range of delicious dishes - it was really difficult to choose. The chef himself brought the dishes - and every single one was sensational. Asparagus, schnitzel, currywurst, butter potatoes, salad, even our youngest's fries were incredibly crispy and delicious (we suspect: prepared in a top hot air fryer, as it wasn't greasy in the slightest). And first the dessert - we tried pretty much everything there was - heavenly, especially the seasonal strawberry tiramisu from the Easter menu! Definitely no star chef could do better. You also had the impression that people pay attention to regionality and freshness here... So we not only left happy and full, but also left with a good feeling - and will definitely come back on our next holiday at the sea...

The rating refers to the restaurant!! The reservation was made effortlessly via Open Table. When you enter, you get a nice impression and a delicious smell in your nose. Cozy table and enough space. The food was really delicious and plentiful. Nobody has to leave hungry. Priced in line with the level of the location. There was a nice chat with the people sitting next to us at the table. All in all round and harmonious!! We'd love to come back next time we're in the area.

The only restaurant in the middle of the village but a very good absolute insider tip. Food as it should be fresh and not ready-made products. Despite the well-stocked store, the service was calm and relaxed and always asked if everything was okay. So there are still the restaurateurs where the focus is on the guest. Great, keep it up. We'll come back any time!

We went based on the reviews. We didn't like it at all. The tables were so close together. We had schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was very dry, and some of the fries were still raw inside. Perhaps the fat was old, as it gave my husband stomach problems. Maybe we were just having a bad day.

On December 30th, we went to a great restaurant with nine people! Everyone was greeted and served very warmly by a trainee (who introduced himself as such 👍🏼). Very friendly and competent...you wish you could have that more often, but it's a rarity! The food and drinks were simply fantastic for both children and adults. Highly recommended.

The Großenbrode restaurant is absolutely great both in terms of cuisine and service. A great menu paired with a great selection of drinks paves the way for a wonderful evening. In addition, the great service is to be praised, which is prompt and attentive. Actually every dish is recommended. Also recommended are the great Scheibel schnapps. My partner and I ate there today because of the good reviews. Where do I start... We received an extremely friendly welcome. The selection of food is sufficient. It's not for nothing that they say “if you can do everything, you can't do anything right!” And that's how it is. About 20-25 minutes we received our food completely unexpectedly due to the short amount of time… From that point on it was just an experience. The hand-tapped schnitzels were tender and served on a lavish plate in a way that we would not have expected in this abundance given the comparably low (industry standard) price. The plates were beautifully presented and our food was, in good German, “saulecker”. These pigs didn't die in vain 😅 We were served very warmly, to the extent that other locations would be happy to learn a lesson. For my partner, the portion was so large that she had the leftovers packed up. Conclusion. Pure taste experience. Perfect service At an unbeatable price. We would love to come back! There is a small hotel above the restaurant, so come down to eat in the evening. What can I say, I haven't visited any other restaurant in 5 days🤗The taste of the palate is spoiled 😍Tomato soup almost licked the plate, Neptune salad was amazing, grilled plate and various other delicacies. Instead of leaving in the morning, the whole day was spent just to feast again in the evening. Added to this is the friendly, courteous service. You feel right at home. Simply bombastic 🎉it goes without saying that these are freshly prepared dishes. 😍In the morning, hotel guests had the opportunity to have breakfast, and there was also attentive, friendly service. Our orders were taken friendly and very attentively. All places were fully booked. And not without reason. It's been a long time since I've eaten something so good and reasonably priced. When we entered, we only looked up briefly and then passed it on to the colleague who accepted the reservation. When I ordered, when I asked whether the fried potatoes were vegetarian, this was confirmed. A vegetarian burger with fries was brought. My husband's mustard sauce was missing and was served upon request. There was a tiramisu as an apology. I would have thought it would have been better if we had been asked what we could be given

Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, but unfortunately not a large vegetarian selection. The two vegetarian dishes we ate were not convincing in terms of taste.

The three of us were at the Grossenbrode restaurant today. Great service - very attentive and friendly. The ambience is also very nice, super pleasant music - just great. Now the most important thing - the food... Simply a dream. We had surf and turf once and the grill plate twice - the meat was buttery tender and super juicy. The shrimp on point. Side dishes also very tasty. A class of homemade Aliolli. The desserts were a great finale. The “Brodi” is also highly recommended - everyone was pleasantly surprised. I've never had such a delicious mild herbal liqueur - it reminded us of the schnapps from a Mon Cherie. We'll definitely be back. Many thanks to the chef and the whole team
