We have just returned from the "birthday dinner" in the Großenbrode restaurant, and we are impressed and happily surprised at how warmly we were greeted. The birthday table was beautifully set, including candles. Thank you very much for that. The table reservation worked perfectly! And then the food - simply terrific, everything brought to the point, beautifully prepared and appetizingly served. The service is attentive and exactly what the guests want. Summary: The 4 of us would give 4 x 5 stars if we could. Thank you and see you soon.

Ate there for the first time today and wasn't disappointed. My wife ate a perfect steak with tereyaki sauce and cheese chili fries and I ate the homemade spaetzle with shrimps in a tomato cream sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection. The team was very attentive and gave a very good picture of the restaurant. We'll definitely come

Great… 5 stars are almost not enough here. If we could we would give 10 stars. The food, the ambience, the service are simply perfect. You can't eat better in Großenbrode. The entire staff is attentive, courteous and just plain friendly. The little guests are also taken into account. We will come back in any case. Thank you for the great experience.

Very helpful, nice staff as we had a small emergency with our mother. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still allowed to stay. It took all of 20 minutes until we had our food. We were all very amazed at the huge portions. Price performance is justified. Definitely 5 stars from us.

We had dinner this evening with 4 adults and a toddler. It was amazing ……. Fantastic. The service was top notch, the food was on point and the portions were absolutely satisfactory. A pearl that we will visit again on our next vacation and highly recommend. Thanks

We decided to eat here last night because of good reviews online. We came without a reservation with 2 dogs. The terrace was almost full, but the friendly waitresses still offered us a great spot despite the fact that we came with two dogs. Yes, we now know why the restaurant is rated so well. We are extremely enthusiastic about this excellent cuisine and this super nice service. We felt completely comfortable. We'll definitely be back.👌🏽

Sunshine, a desire for a beer garden and not just a little hunger, so off to the Großenbrode restaurant. Very nice and attentive staff. When it became known that it was my wife's birthday, the table was decorated, much to our delight. After we ate here several times, I no longer believe that the chef only did an apprenticeship, but rather a degree. The team and the kitchen receive a little star from me that should shine in the restaurant sky. July 2024 addition: There have been a few changes to the menu, the team has earned the attribute of professionals and there was a small insert with a hand puppet for children. The steak is to the point, the schnitzel is tender and juicy with a delicate breading and they know something about fried potatoes, and at the end a pear. If it hadn't been so much, I would have liked to have a coffee and a Montecristo No 5, maybe next time.

We ate there three times during our vacation and were more than thrilled each time. Service was top, children and dogs were always warmly welcomed and the food was excellent. We can really recommend the restaurant. We will come back :)

We were at the Großenbrode restaurant again. My husband had the Matjes Schmaus, which he still thinks was the best matjes he has ever eaten. I had chanterelles a la crème with fried potatoes and chicken breast fillet from the lava stone grill... The chef must be of divine descent, food anesthesia in a new dimension! Afterwards a Brodi and the evening was perfect! The entire team is super friendly. We are already looking forward to the next time 🥰

Were only in the restaurant. The food didn't convince me. Mediterranean spaetzle pan was relatively tasteless, salad tasted watery, my husband's fried potatoes and chanterelle sauce were salty. The bacon on the fried potatoes was a little more than dark brown. The fillet steak was good.

Simply the best address far and wide. Fabulous cuisine and incredibly friendly and attentive service.

We got stranded here today by chance. Or is this called fate? The starters were delicious, the beer was great, the Brooder burger and the homemade chips were simply outstanding. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly and attentive. An absolute must for everyone who appreciates really good food and drinks combined with a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back! Next time it will be on purpose 😀

I'm not often speechless, but today I definitely was. The food is absolutely incredible. Hard to put into words. The drinks are excellent and the whole team, especially the boss, are totally friendly and accommodating. It's definitely worth a visit every time and we will definitely come back! P.S.: definitely try the Brodi. It's just a must and incredibly tasty.

A really good restaurant. Very good food, very well portioned. The starters in particular are not too overpowering and leave you wanting more. I myself had a “duet with zander and cod”. The fish was very tender, almost buttery soft and literally melted in your mouth. The tomato soup is also highly recommended. A nice thing with ruccola foam. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Before you've finished your glass, you'll be asked if you'd like anything else. Under other circumstances I would say I would like to come back but I would have to drive 500 km each time. That will be difficult. All in all a nice restaurant, nice ambience both inside and outside. Very good food and nice staff.

The food here is fresh, seasonal and regional. What struck me positively on my first visit was the warmth and attention to detail. Friendliness is a given here. My first choice was the fried cod fillet. It was so delicious that we planned a second visit to the restaurant. On the second evening I ordered the surf and turf and, for dessert, warm cheesecake balls with wild berry sauce and mango sorbet. Here too, the love lies in the detail, visually and is a real treat for the taste buds. The in-house herbal liqueur rounds off the taste experience beautifully. I definitely recommend a visit to this delicious, friendly restaurant. It's also nice to see that training is still taking place here. Keep it up....

Rightly advertised as the first restaurant in Großenbrode, we always had a very good meal, whether it was fish or meat, and the service was also very courteous and forward-looking. You can't give enough stars.

The good reviews led us there, but we were disappointed: Waited half an hour for 2 beers and then another 40 minutes for food after having to remind ourselves twice - a real shame! Food visually appealing, but gnocci + chanterelles very bland, 2 crumbs of Parmesan on top. The specially ordered side salad only came after I remembered, not with vinegar and oil as ordered, but with an indefinable ready-made dressing. The herring plate was ok, unfortunately there wasn't enough sauce. Yes, we were disappointed. Even if the house is full, it would still be helpful to inform the guests that there will be a waiting time and to brighten up the waiting time with an “amuse geule”…

The only restaurant in the middle of the village but a very good absolute insider tip. Food as it should be fresh and not ready-made products. Despite the well-stocked store, the service was calm and relaxed and always asked if everything was OK. So there are still the restaurateurs where the focus is on the guest. Great, keep it up. We'll come back any time!

Again we were thrilled, despite the full restaurant, great service and great quality. My wife had the chanterelles with gnochies and I had the duet. Both are simply great. It's nice that this restaurant exists in the village center.

We had dinner there yesterday. It was very tasty, rich plates and such good fillet of beef has rarely been eaten. Service was great and they are child friendly too.

We had a delicious meal in May and are already looking forward to October 😃. The currywurst is a must 👍🏻 and otherwise always great fresh food with seasonal offers, very good selection of drinks. The restaurant is beautifully located in the village, cozy inside and the terrace is beautifully designed. Whether for couples, as a family and/or with a dog, everyone is warmly welcomed.

I'm here in Großenbrode for the mother-child treatment. Today we had dinner in the restaurant here. The table reservation went smoothly online and we received a friendly welcome. The atmosphere invites you to stay and the food was simply delicious. The staff was also consistently friendly and my children's special requests were also implemented. 😅 I can only recommend it. 👌😃

We once enjoyed the food on site (1x fish platter and 1x Holstein style schnitzel) - great service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food! Once we got some food (Berliner Teller) - also very tasty!

Chose the restaurant based on reviews and were not disappointed! The cocktails alone would make me happy to leave my girlfriend here for hours. Handmade spaetzle was extremely tasty, lady steak was ordered medium rare and delivered. Dessert freshly prepared. Super leckeres Essen. Schnitzel war ne super Portion. Auch die Kinder waren von ihren Schnitzeln begeistert. Ein leckeres Duckstein hat es abgerundet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. Some of the fries were still raw inside. Some were good. However, if I hadn't had ketchup, these would have been inedible. The meat was mixed up and the service barely understood anything. Unfortunately a disappointing evening.
