We've been regulars since the restaurant opened and have always been satisfied. Friendly and attentive service, excellent, high-quality food, and a lovely atmosphere.

Anyone who feels the desire for very good, traditional cuisine is in good hands here. Very friendly and attentive service. Nice atmosphere and very good, tasty food.

Great food and even better service!

The only restaurant in the middle of the village but a very good absolute insider tip. Food as it should be fresh and not ready-made products. Despite the well-stocked store, the service was calm and relaxed and always asked if everything was OK. So there are still the restaurateurs where the focus is on the guest. Great, keep it up. We'll come back any time!

We went based on the reviews. We didn't like it at all. The tables were so close together. We had schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was very dry, and some of the fries were still raw inside. Perhaps the fat was old, as it gave my husband stomach problems. Maybe we were just having a bad day.

On December 30th, we went to a great restaurant with nine people! Everyone was greeted and served very warmly by a trainee (who introduced himself as such 👍🏼). Very friendly and competent...you wish you could have that more often, but it's a rarity! The food and drinks were simply fantastic for both children and adults. Highly recommended.

We were at the Grossenbrode restaurant today to mark the end of the year. A huge compliment to the kitchen and the service. Nice, pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, great wines and very well trained and friendly service. Price/performance ratio top. We definitely recommend Restaurant Grossenbrode and will come back next year.

The Großenbrode restaurant is absolutely great both in terms of cuisine and service. A great menu paired with a great selection of drinks paves the way for a wonderful evening. In addition, the great service is to be praised, which is prompt and attentive. Actually every dish is recommended. Also recommended are the great Scheibel schnapps. There is a wide selection that every lover should try out.

My partner and I ate there today because of the good reviews. Where do I start... We received an extremely friendly welcome. The selection of food is sufficient. It's not for nothing that they say “if you can do everything, you can't do anything right!” And that's how it is. About 20-25 minutes we received our food completely unexpectedly due to the short amount of time… From that point on it was just an experience. The hand-tapped schnitzels were tender and served on a lavish plate in a way that we would not have expected in this abundance given the comparably low (industry standard) price. The plates were beautifully presented and our food was, in good German, “saulecker”. These pigs didn't die in vain 😅 We were served very warmly, to the extent that other locations would be happy to learn a lesson. For my partner, the portion was so large that she had the leftovers packed up. Conclusion. Pure taste experience. Perfect service At an unbeatable price. We would love to come back! There is a small hotel above the restaurant, so come down to eat in the evening. What can I say, I haven't visited any other restaurant in 5 days🤗The taste of the palate is spoiled 😍Tomato soup almost licked the plate, Neptune salad was amazing, grilled plate and various other delicacies. Instead of leaving in the morning, the whole day was spent just to feast again in the evening. Added to this is the friendly, courteous service. You feel right at home. Simply bombastic 🎉it goes without saying that these are freshly prepared dishes. 😍In the morning, hotel guests had the opportunity to have breakfast, and there was also attentive, friendly service. Have a nice day, during our short vacation in Großenbrode we discovered the restaurant, since the season was over I thought (I realized my mistake - I thought) we don't need to make a reservation, I thought wrong, we have the last two places Got it on Saturday evening, thank God, because it was really worth it. The aperitif with blueberries was a good start, then the duet of zander and cod was awesome and finally a little Brodi and the evening was a success. Thank you for that. Nice restaurant with very friendly staff and excellent food. The tomato soup is really different (that's the description) and what can I write. Just great. The main courses, grilled dishes and fish duet, fantastic. Everything rich. The dessert (baked apple rings with cinnamon sugar and vanilla sauce), a dream. We'll definitely be back.

We had dinner there yesterday. It was just incredibly delicious. All 3 dishes were so delicious and the portions...If you don't get full 😀. The service great. Our orders were taken friendly and very attentively. All places were fully booked. And not without reason. It's been a long time since I've eaten something so good and reasonably priced. Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, but unfortunately not a large vegetarian selection. The two vegetarian dishes we ate were not convincing in terms of taste.

When we entered, we only looked up briefly and then passed it on to the colleague who accepted the reservation. When I ordered, when I asked whether the fried potatoes were vegetarian, this was confirmed. A vegetarian burger with fries was brought. My husband's mustard sauce was missing and was served upon request. There was a tiramisu as an apology. I would have thought it would have been better if we had been asked what we could be given

We were there twice this week because the food was freshly prepared and the landlord and his staff were very friendly and nice. We really liked it and will come back for a Brodi next year in October

The three of us were at the Grossenbrode restaurant today. Great service - very attentive and friendly. The ambience is also very nice, super pleasant music - just great. Now the most important thing - the food... Simply a dream. We had surf and turf once and the grill plate twice - the meat was buttery tender and super juicy. The shrimp on point. Side dishes also very tasty. A class of homemade Aliolli. The desserts were a great finale. The “Brodi” is also highly recommended - everyone was pleasantly surprised. I've never had such a delicious mild herbal liqueur - it reminded us of the schnapps from a Mon Cherie. We'll definitely be back. Many thanks to the chef and the whole team

Why did I have to inhale bad food around Großenbrode for over 3 years until this restaurant was recommended to us? 6 meals - and all were very sumptuous and excellent. Fried parsley for decoration. Class! Lovingly prepared with delightful service. We'd love to come back ☺️

Very good price/performance ratio. The Jägerschnitzel was a very good portion, so even good eaters will be full. The homemade spaetzle was also very good. Another highlight is the aioli that we had as a starter. Service very good and a very well-kept atmosphere. Would love to come back.

We have just returned from the "birthday dinner" in the Großenbrode restaurant, and we are impressed and happily surprised at how warmly we were greeted. The birthday table was beautifully set, including candles. Thank you very much for that. The table reservation worked perfectly! And then the food - simply terrific, everything brought to the point, beautifully prepared and appetizingly served. The service is attentive and exactly what the guests want. Summary: The 4 of us would give 4 x 5 stars if we could. Thank you and see you soon.

Ate there for the first time today and wasn't disappointed. My wife ate a perfect steak with tereyaki sauce and cheese chili fries and I ate the homemade spaetzle with shrimps in a tomato cream sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection. The team was very attentive and gave a very good picture of the restaurant. We'll definitely come

Wir lieben dieses Restaurant! Jedes Mal wenn wir in Heiligenhafen sind, gehen wir dort essen. Diesen Urlaub waren wir tatsächlich drei mal dort, weil es einfach nur gut geschmeckt hat. Egal ob volles Haus oder weniger los, man wartet dort keine halbe Stunde auf das Essen. Das letzte Mal waren es lediglich 8 Minuten, was wir noch nie zuvor hatten. Die Zufriedenheit der Kunden ist dort oberste Priorität und sowohl Chef, als auch Mitarbeiter sind immer mehr als freundlich. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert!

The entire staff is attentive, courteous and just plain friendly. The little guests are also taken into account. We will come back in any case. Thank you for the great experience.

Very helpful, nice staff as we had a small emergency with our mother. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still allowed to stay. It took all of 20 minutes until we had our food. We were all very amazed at the huge portions. Price performance is justified. Definitely 5 stars from us.

We decided to eat here last night because of good reviews online. We came without a reservation with 2 dogs. The terrace was almost full, but the friendly waitresses still offered us a great spot despite the fact that we came with two dogs. Yes, we now know why the restaurant is rated so well. Sunshine, a desire for a beer garden and not just a little hunger, so off to the Großenbrode restaurant. Very nice and attentive staff. When it became known that it was my wife's birthday, the table was decorated, much to our delight. After we ate here several times, I no longer believe that the chef only did an apprenticeship, but rather a degree. The team and the kitchen receive a little star from me that should shine in the restaurant sky. July 2024 addition: There have been a few changes to the menu, the team has earned the attribute of professionals and there was a small insert with a hand puppet for children. The steak is to the point, the schnitzel is tender and juicy with a delicate breading and they know something about fried potatoes, and at the end a pear. If it hadn't been so much, I would have liked to have a coffee and a Montecristo No 5, maybe next time.

We were at the Großenbrode restaurant again. My husband had the Matjes Schmaus, which he still thinks was the best matjes he has ever eaten. I had chanterelles a la crème with fried potatoes and chicken breast fillet from the lava stone grill... The chef must be of divine descent, food anesthesia in a new dimension! Afterwards a Brodi and the evening was perfect! The entire team is super friendly. We are already looking forward to the next time 🥰

Were only in the restaurant. The food didn't convince me. Mediterranean spaetzle pan was relatively tasteless, salad tasted watery, my husband's fried potatoes and chanterelle sauce were salty. The bacon on the fried potatoes was a little more than dark brown. The fillet steak was good.

We got stranded here today by chance. Or is this called fate? The starters were delicious, the beer was great, the Brooder burger and the homemade chips were simply outstanding. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly and attentive. An absolute must for everyone who appreciates really good food and drinks combined with a pleasant atmosphere. I'm not often speechless, but today I definitely was. The food is absolutely incredible. Hard to put into words. The drinks are excellent and the whole team, especially the boss, are totally friendly and accommodating. It's definitely worth a visit every time and we will definitely come back! P.S.: definitely try the Brodi. It's just a must and incredibly tasty.

A really good restaurant. Very good food, very well portioned. The starters in particular are not too overpowering and leave you wanting more. I myself had a “duet with zander and cod”. The fish was very tender, almost buttery soft and literally melted in your mouth. The tomato soup is also highly recommended. A nice thing with ruccola foam. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Before you've finished your glass, you'll be asked if you'd like anything else. Under other circumstances I would say I would like to come back but I would have to drive 500 km each time. That will be difficult. All in all a nice restaurant, nice ambience both inside and outside. Very good food and nice staff.

The food here is fresh, seasonal and regional. What struck me positively on my first visit was the warmth and attention to detail. Friendliness is a given here. My first choice was the fried cod fillet. It was so delicious that we planned a second visit to the restaurant. On the second evening I ordered the surf and turf and, for dessert, warm cheesecake balls with wild berry sauce and mango sorbet. Here too, the love lies in the detail, visually and is a real treat for the taste buds. The in-house herbal liqueur rounds off the taste experience beautifully. I definitely recommend a visit to this delicious, friendly restaurant. It's also nice to see that training is still taking place here. Keep it up....
