Wiener Schnitzel. The dressing was rather soggy instead of crispy. The meat was a bit tough.

I'm only reviewing the breakfast offered as part of the promotion with the Pforzheim municipal cinema. Unlike before, I find it really good; everything is nicely done and there's a comparatively good selection.

Delicious food, good and fast service, we'll be back. :-)

Fantastic food, great atmosphere – exactly how I wanted my birthday dinner to be. I had the pepper-crusted steak, absolutely delicious. All the dishes we ordered were really good. We'll be back!

So, we've had breakfast with the cinema three times now, and today was definitely the last! The staff didn't seem very motivated to serve us. When we asked if they could put anything else on the table, they replied irritably: "Nothing left!" Which brings us to the next issue: the breakfast selection was meager. No vegetarian options and only pork sausage. The atmosphere wasn't conducive to a pleasant breakfast at this price. There are much better and more comfortable options in town. So, our conclusion: from now on, just the cinema without breakfast.

Unfortunately, I received a schnitzel that tasted stale today. After three bites and feeling quite disgusted, I had to throw it away. Lehners offered to send a replacement, but I declined. Simply because my complaint wasn't met with understanding, and I no longer had confidence in the quality of the delivery.

Excellent classic German restaurant where the dishes are very good and generous. The prices are quite reasonable. The local beers are delicious! Plus, they have menus in English and English-speaking waitresses. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, we had to wash all our clothes after the visit because everything smelled strongly of frying oil. What a shame! The food was very good, though!

We were regular customers until yesterday. Therefore, we can tell you that there are often very, very long waiting times. Occasionally, the food isn't as it should be either. Yesterday, we waited over two hours for our food and then received a botched dish. As an apology, we received two cheap coffee biscuits.

Until a year ago, I really liked Lehners. I don't know what happened after that... The service—especially the mood of the young, blonde women serving—left much to be desired. I would be the last person to not forgive someone's bad day, and I would never do so...but it happened repeatedly that we felt unwelcome. Then the four of us were seated at a small "children's table"...even though we had said upon entering that we would probably like to order food as well. Well...that's how it goes...we had a drink and moved on. What a shame...

Phew, we spontaneously went to eat at Lehners Wirtshaus. It was our first time there, but I have to say I wouldn't go back. I had a pork knuckle with potato dumplings. The dumplings were unfortunately undercooked and cold. I pointed this out, and new ones were immediately served. These were hot, but not fully cooked either. The service was lacking, apart from taking my order and serving. When I paid with my card, I was asked whether I wanted to tip by card or in cash. To which I asked what I was supposed to tip for? The lady was very tense and couldn't even say goodbye. I'm happy to tip for appropriate service, but I've never been asked whether or how I'd like to tip. The price, in my opinion, doesn't quite match the value on the plate.

A cozy inn with super-fair prices and delicious Bavarian/Swabian food. The ambiance is typical of an inn and invites you to linger. They serve good beer and even craft beer, which changes monthly. The beer of the month is a great idea. Anyone who comes here can't go wrong.

A great, hearty inn for lunch—open from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.—as well as for a cozy snack with delicious local dishes. Highly recommended. We're already looking forward to the time when the Unter den Linden beer garden opens. In our opinion, it's the most beautiful building in Pforzheim, with its adjacent park and city church.

Yes, enthusiastic service. We were also impressed by the food. Salad bowls for the adults, and spaetzle and gravy made the kids happy. We've never had fries so delicious and crispy. Great, delicious, refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.

I would like to expressly praise the excellent food and first-class service at Lehners. The dishes were very tasty, freshly prepared, and attractively presented. We ate here several times during our Black Forest vacation. The food was always delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We felt completely at home. The outdoor area was an oasis in the hot weather.

We were there today with our 18-month-old daughter. The staff was super friendly and even brought us a box of Lego. Very child-friendly. The food was also very, very good. Highly recommended. We'll be happy to come back. If I could make one recommendation, it would be that the restrooms could perhaps be renovated.

Central meeting point in the city

Very tasty food, a large selection of drinks, and friendly service. Good value for money. There's a large beer garden outside. Unfortunately, it was raining, but the atmosphere inside is also very nice.

Ordered a lord's steak. According to the menu, it was "selected steak from pasture-fed beef." Ordered English, but the doneness was actually very good, although we unfortunately got a less good piece of meat. Hopefully an exception, otherwise we might reconsider the supplier. The meat actually tasted good, but it was heavily marbled and not as tender as expected. It's possible that I was unlucky and got a less good piece, but that can happen. I'll give it another chance in the near future and then update my review accordingly. Apart from that, there was absolutely nothing to complain about and the waitress dealt with the criticism very well. 4/5 stars, and if everything is good next time, I'd gladly give it 5/5.

We recently spent a few days vacationing in Pforzheim and discovered Lehner's Wirtshaus and stopped in. (Since I have severe mobility issues, it was very difficult for me to reach the restroom on the first floor.) We encountered very friendly and attentive staff. For dinner, we had the cheese spaetzle, which was absolutely delicious, but the Zurich-style schnitzel with spaetzle was so exceptionally good that I still think about it today 🥰. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely come back. Thank you for the wonderful evening 🌸

Price performance does not match here. The food we ordered was mediocre and the final price was quite disappointing. The inn itself is beautifully decorated in a wooden style with good service.

Oh when in Pforzheim, you've got to come check them out. Food is tasty and filling and they have so many options. You won't be disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff is friendly and attentive. The choice of food is not very large, but we were satisfied. Only the parking options were far away for us. Nevertheless, it is a recommendable restaurant in the city and always in a beautiful location.

I've been there for dinner several times and I think I won't go there again. The food is great and the service is quick and always nice. But the atmosphere is simply catastrophic. It's far too loud and far too narrow, you can hear the people behind and next to you much louder than you can. No matter what time of day it is. Going out for a romantic meal is completely impossible. I know the employees can't help it, but I personally can't bear it anymore.

The inn is made in a rustic way. I had a really tasty chicken burger. The dessert was also very tasty. Friendly service. Clear recommendation.

In a traditional restaurant, you can enjoy a variety of dishes. From tarte flambée to bowls 🥗 to burgers. 🍔 Smaller portions are available for children. 😋 They also serve delicious homemade lemonades, which are highly recommended.

We were a group of 7 people on a Saturday from 5pm. It wasn't too crowded and therefore not loud, which was pleasant. This wasn't my first visit, but it was very irregular and several years apart. The service is very friendly, only the amount of fries on the burger could have been a little more. Despite everything, a relaxed evening in a beautiful atmosphere, just as you wish! I'd love to come back. Thank you!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere if you like the open tavern style. The employees were all extremely friendly and super fast. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us 100% - unfortunately it was only served lukewarm, the meat and pork medallions - cooked a little too long and not very seasoned. But the dessert was impressive - apple fritters. Overall maybe a bit expensive.

We were here for the first time, but definitely not the last. The food was very tasty and came to the table quickly. All dishes at the same time and all at the right temperature. The service was also outstanding. We were warmly welcomed by Julia and served in a very friendly and competent manner. I haven't felt so well looked after in a restaurant for a long time. Super! We were there at coffee time. Great ambience, nice staff and a good strudel. It was possible to have a good chat, but the place was also very empty, things certainly look a little different in the evening.

Unser Besuch im Lehners in Heilbronn hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war hervorragend. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Wirtshaus-Burger und die Schweinshaxe. War alles auf den Punkt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir sind Stammgäste die regelmäßig kommen. Wir waren am 19.10.2024 mal wieder da. Ein Freund von mir ist an diesem Tag umgezogen. Wir hatten natürlich Hunger. Ich bestellte das Pfeffersteak mit Pommes, meine Freunde beide Rindsrolladen. Die Bedienung kam und sagte das die Rindsrolladen aus sind. Meine Freunde bestellten dann etwas anderes. Ich bekam mein Steak innerhalb von 10 Minuten. Das kam mir schon komisch vor. Das Steak war leider zäh und es wurde lauwarm serviert. Leider muss ich sagen ,dass ich schon öfter mal ein Steak bestellt habe, und jedes mal enttäuscht wurde. Bei einem Preis von fast 30 Euro kann man doch Qualität erwarten. Ich werde leider kein Steak mehr bestellen, da die Qualität vom Fleisch nicht gut war. Meine Freunde waren mit ihrem Essen aber zufrieden. Der Service war gut. Ich habe es Ihr auch gesagt dass ich nicht zufrieden wahr. Ich möchte den Bedienungen Lucien, Julia und Tanja ein besonderes Lob aussprechen ,die immer zuvorkommend sind und sehr freundlich.

Great restaurant for passing through, but the town of Pfortzheim is a disaster to drive and park as a foreigner, because speed cameras everywhere for 30 km. So you are definitely the "cheat".

The salad that came with the baked potato was mushy and brown. And the tomatoes were so bad. No taste and like the parts of the salad, almost rotten. I only noticed this halfway through, otherwise I would have put everything back straight away. So I just picked out the muddy parts. The waitress said, but the rest was still good, right? She probably didn't understand that when you pay for a salad, you don't want something soggy brown in between. Or? Pointing this out to the inn is the wrong answer and gives the impression that this is normal. So it's better to only eat meat here, it doesn't get mushy. I took a photo, but it would be bad for business to post it here. So please, pay more attention to the products that can no longer be served. Thanks.

Friendly service, nice beer garden but the price has risen a lot. €5.10 for lukewarm beer. I've always enjoyed being here but that's just not possible!

The menu gives the impression of competence. The reality using the pork crust roast as an example is as follows: 1. We promise a "crust" for which there is supposedly a separate baking process. The result is a mushy, at best rubbery substance that tastes neither of salt and pepper (as promised) nor of anything else. 2. The sauce is what is disdainfully called “Packerlssoss” in Bavaria. A semi-slimy, homogeneous, viscous broth that comes directly from the powder bucket of the system catering industry. 3. The sprinkles on the potato dumpling were so bad that I immediately threw them away. 3. The coleslaw was obviously homemade. But that already says everything positive. There wasn't even caraway to be found, let alone bacon. Conclusion: People boast about Bavarian cuisine, but obviously have no idea about it. Next example: beer quality First of all, that's a matter of taste. But when it comes to cooling, there is a basic understanding. Especially in summer (outside temperature is a humid 24 degrees), a beer is ideally served at 7-8 degrees. Because it's getting warmer quickly anyway. Here three different beers (draught and bottle) had a maximum of 10 degrees. The "Gründerbier" suggests that it is a specialty of the local Pforzheim brewery, but is brewed by "Union Brew" in Treviso (1). And that's exactly how it tastes.# It reminded me a lot of cheap beers like “Mönchshof”. However, the half is charged at a proud €5.10. Only the service was good. My waitress even made a serious effort to save something by getting me a large piece of crust. However, it was only of moderate quality. But the service can't do anything about the kitchen! Conclusion: This is an excellent example of why I now prefer to eat and drink at home!

I was here while passing through because of the positive reviews and wasn't disappointed. The beer garden in the middle of the city has a nice atmosphere, the two service ladies served excellently and were super friendly! The food came quickly and was delicious. What more do you want? Will definitely come back here next time I visit.

Due to lack of space, the waitress placed us as the only ones at the top. Not bad for us, she wasn't fast either but we were relaxed and in no hurry at all. You could tell that she was very sorry and that she was trying hard. So kudos to the young lady. Food was very good again. We would like to come again

Fine local cuisine and great location, whether outside in the beer garden or inside. You completely forget the central location and the noise of the city, and yet you are in the heart of Pforzheim's (night) life. Also very spacious and ideal for larger parties. A real culinary recommendation in Pforzheim.

Hello, I ordered with delivery. Schnitzel with fries, sausage salad and Maultaschen with potato salad. Everything was really of good quality and the delivery was faster than initially stated, so really great. The only point of criticism was the portion of the sausage salad. It was decorated with onions and radishes (almost a bit too much for me personally)...why. Sorry, but the sausage salad portion was really small and almost completely disappeared under the onions, and it's really difficult to get full with that. The taste was perfect, the bread that came with it was also great...it was inhaled with four forks ;0)

The food was mostly very fatty, especially the schnitzel and the fried potatoes, which unfortunately weren't potatoes, but boiled potatoes warmed up in a lot of fat. The table was dirty and stained, as was the neighboring wall and the dusty window sill. The staff tried to be friendly, but were not present, preferred to tidy up the cutlery and do other things than serve the customers, and didn't know what was sold out. When the outside temperature was 4°C, the doors remained open longer to clear up tables. Finally, the card payment failed.

Unfortunately, when there is a lot going on, they have far too few staff! You wait forever until you can order and the same thing until it finally comes. Otherwise good, but unfortunately that's annoying.

Wir waren acht Personen und saßen aufgrund des Superwetters im Biergarten. Es hatte jeder extra Wünsche zu seinem Essen und diese wurden alle erfüllt. Unsere Bedienung und das Personal waren sehr aufmerksam . Leere Gläser und leere Teller wurden schnell abgeräumt. Als Abschluß die Happy Hour mit den Cocktails rundete einen schönen Abend ab.
