Very nice excursion restaurant. We celebrated my birthday here with over 20 people and were extremely happy with everything. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food we ordered in advance (beef fillet and pork medallions) was excellent. Compliments to the kitchen. All of my guests were very satisfied and we can 100% recommend this restaurant.

I can't even put it into words. The combination of outdoor dining and indoor dining in a beautiful spot on earth was indescribably beautiful. The food was delicious. The service perfect. The offer is more than sufficient. Unforgettably simple. Thanks.

I rate the restaurant here. Compared to before, the quality of the food has decreased. Duck leg wasn't crispy and the red cabbage was mediocre in taste. Salad plate lavish, nothing special and not appropriate for the price. There are no containers to take uneaten food with you. Just a piece of aluminum foil into which everything is squished together and rolled up. The Asian ladies in service are friendly, but understand little German. The toilet was in a deplorable condition.

The Seehaus restaurant in Pforzheim is a real gem! With its fantastic location right on the lake, it offers a unique atmosphere that invites you to linger. The food is of the best quality, freshly prepared and wonderfully presented - a delight for the eyes and palate. The team at the Seehaus is attentive, warm and makes you feel completely comfortable as a guest. Especially on sunny days, the terrace is a highlight that should not be missed. A perfect place for special occasions or simply to enjoy a good time. Highly recommended!

Seehaus Pforzheim is a beautiful place to go for a walk and then fortify yourself in the Seehaus. You can also fortify yourself in the beer garden, just as nicely as in the restaurant.

Settle down here, it's good to be here! A special meal - exquisitely prepared and good in taste. As the Swabian says: There is nothing better than ebbes guats!

I rate the beer garden! Wonderful beer garden by the lake. Self-service. Everything that is packaged is ok. Otherwise, no food. And way too expensive for that.

After a long hike, I decided on a delicious steak and was pleasantly surprised. Afterwards we took a short walk around the lake and continued the hike with a full stomach.

Unfortunately the potato salad was inedible, it was ok but not outstanding

Cyclists, only beer garden, chef at the checkout good, the rest leaves a lot to be desired, earlier tarte flambée stand etc. much better, fries were already mushy twice.

Old forester's house, idyllic and beautifully decorated. Solid restaurant inside & terrace, outside beer garden with self service. Regional dishes of above-average quality also in the beer garden. Beautiful lake in front of it. Ideal Saturday afternoon coffee location. Very Black Forest-like, even with an opulent cherry cake. Sometimes with live music in the beer garden. Make a reservation in the restaurant! 1km further towards Pforzheim is a beautiful zoo with a climbing garden. Something for the whole family. Beautiful hiking and cycling trails outside.

Good self-service option. Prices average, quality rather good. Keep it up. Ate there again today. Super tasty and quality very good. Rump steak, cooked perfectly medium, chicken wings cross on the outside and juicy on the inside. Keep it up 👍

Nice location for a beer garden. Now well developed. The only thing that is unsatisfactory is the situation at the checkout, as those who just get drinks push in front of the others and so the food gets cold.

I ate a very good 250g beef fillet, but the price was too high at 50 euros.

Very nice beer garden on a small lake. Unfortunately, the food selection is only snack-like, but it's still ok. What bothers me most is that you stand in the drinks/cash line with your warm food and it's cold by the time you get to the table. The counter should have been planned the other way around in terms of the process. Still worth a detour again and again.

Very nice location, but the food in the beer garden is not overwhelming. Not freshly prepared, but prepared.

Reserved for a birthday party at short notice for 13 people, 15 came. Service friendly and competent, menu as expected, middle-class, highlighting the creative salad plates. We sat outside, nice ambience.

A beer garden where you feel comfortable and the food is also very tasty

This review is explicitly for the beer garden. The ambience is fantastic. The food is also really good, especially the breaded fish. There is only one star deduction for the service that doesn't always have it under control. Waiting 35 minutes for food during the lunch break while numerous guests who arrived later get theirs first is quite frustrating and unfortunately not an isolated case.

Really great beer garden with a great selection of large and small dishes and drinks in a very nice atmosphere. The self-service concept is a bit complicated but in the end it works well and quite quickly. Lunch menu changes daily. The only drawback: the iced coffee was really not good. Everything full of ice crystals.

We like coming here. So to the beer garden. The food is tasty and the nature is beautiful. The ambience is not the most upscale but quite pleasant for a beer garden. The kids enjoy playing in the playground and the cashier seems grumpy. But he's a really nice guy. I think the prices are fair and after eating the area is ideal for a walk.

We stayed in the pavilion for dinner as part of my company's company outing. The welcome was very friendly and the atmosphere was appealing. The pre-ordered food was delicious, although the selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes could be improved a bit. We would have liked more attention when it came to service, especially when it came to asking for drinks. The toilet door was difficult to open, but the toilets themselves were clean and there is a changing table in the women's toilet. There is plenty of parking space around the country inn, and when the weather is good you can sit outside. However, due to the proximity of the forest and the lake, you should make sure you have adequate mosquito protection. Overall a nice experience, with minor room for improvement.

One star deducted because the potato gratin was not homemade, but a finished product.

A fantastic wedding location! Yesterday we celebrated our wedding in the Seehaus with 60 guests. From the first conversation, everything was just right for us. Mr. Belker and his team are absolute professionals, the planning went smoothly and Mr. Belker was always available to us via WhatsApp if we had any questions. We had an outdoor wedding at the lake - just as we wanted (there were even two ponies coming). Afterwards there was a celebration in the pavilion. The feedback from our guests about the ambience, service and food was great - all wishes were met. The whole team set and decorated the tables wonderfully, and the DJ was able to play music all night long. The fact that there were other guests in the lake house during our wedding didn't bother us at all thanks to the separate rooms and terrace. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here! We can absolutely recommend a wedding or other celebration at the Seehaus - everything was just right for us and it was an all-round, worry-free package. Many thanks to the entire team! Nice ambience & location. Service was very attentive and helpful. Food wasn't according to the price. €25 for canned asparagus is too much. Spaetzle, sauces, bread dumplings and red cabbage are all prefabricated commercial kitchen staples. Not necessarily bad, but too expensive for food that wasn't freshly cooked.

Every recommendation, place to visit, wonderful ambience and atmosphere

Yesterday we went to the “Seehaus” beer garden for the first time. Great “logistics”, no long waits, cool drinks and a nice atmosphere. However, there was a bit of disappointment with the meal. The pork neck steak (with fries and a side salad) was probably "pulled" over the grill several times beforehand and warmed up again briefly before it was given to me on the plate. The meat was correspondingly dry and hard. I would have liked to have waited a little longer for a fresh meal. For the other meal, fish with potato salad and tartar sauce, the potato salad and tartar sauce were from a “bucket” rather than homemade. It's a shame about the food, because the location is right...

Self service but everything freshly made

Rating refers to the beer garden: No matter when we come and at what time, the potato salad offered at the tables has unfortunately run out. Guys, then wipe the offer off the board, it can't be that difficult.

The food was top notch, I have rarely eaten such good fish, my husband ate lamb and was just as excited as I was. The service was also very courteous and nice. What I really complain about is that the toilets are not wheelchair accessible. We went there for dinner with my mother and his partner. The partner had choked and had to go to the toilet, which was in the basement and could only be reached via a long, steep staircase. He had to fight his way down there. The entrance area can also only be reached via 3 steps. Not acceptable for such a renowned house! There should be a ground-level toilet in the dining room!

It's nice to sit right by the lake and unwind. That's exactly what you can do here, at least when there isn't that much going on. The drinks are well chilled, the bratwurst was so mediocre.

Had veal schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle, for starters there was buffalo mozzarella with tomato. Super tasty and large portions! Unfortunately, dessert had to be canceled due to an overfilled stomach 😉, next time we won't have breakfast.

We have been to the “Seehaus” several times and are always very satisfied. The food is perfectly prepared to order. It couldn't be better. Friendliness and cosiness are at home here. A bit of vacation and relaxation in no time. Keep it up and we'll always enjoy coming here. P.S. We've never had such a "mixed ice cream" anywhere...PERFECT.

Unfortunately, the food didn't really appeal to us. The veal schnitzel came with ready-made cream sauce. The bread dumplings were a very hard mass. We wanted to take the rest of the food with us and only got the red cabbage and venison goulash with sauce wrapped in aluminum foil. Unfortunately not recommended for the high prices. The service was good.

Update April 2024: The food is still very good, the selection on the menu is fitting for a country inn. The salad with goat cheese (starter) would be better served on a larger plate, as it regularly found its way onto the tablecloth because of the small plate. And I expected a lot more from the dressing. But main courses were perfect. The service is professional, the food at our table of five arrived at the same time and perfectly warm. Only our waiter could have looked a little friendlier. Interesting: Sunday evening at 7 p.m. almost all tables are free. I don't understand... - - - - - All in all a recommendation, although I also have a few little things to comment on. I think the wine list could be a little more classy and the selection of Baden wines could be a little larger. Then I found the food selection a bit too ordinary. In this somewhat upscale atmosphere, I would also like to have more unusual dishes and not just the standard things that I get everywhere. The pheasant terrine was a laudable exception. But it may well be that I went there with the wrong ideas. The food itself was impeccable and tasteful, the service was friendly and the prices were high but still reasonable.

What can I say? The price is of course slightly above average. BUT: The taste, the size of the portions, and the friendliness of the staff make everything at a pleasant price. It is recommended. In every respect. Rarely have I eaten so well. And above all, treated so courteously. If there were 10 stars I would give them completely

The old forester's lodge by the lake is beautifully located. Unfortunately, the prices can no longer be justified. 7€ for a small cup of beef broth with meat, pancakes and chives! The meat is not organic, the fries are definitely bulk packaging from the freezer. In my opinion, the prices can remain the same, but the quality should increase several levels. The service is friendly and you can tell that most of them have learned their trade and are not just temporary workers.
