We had been looking forward to finally trying out Stella for a long time. Unfortunately it wasn't a nice experience. Alone in a restaurant at half past seven on a Sunday evening might say a lot. The prices can definitely be considered high for Greek cuisine. The starters were quite tasty. But not the main courses. The children ordered the children's plate with chicken and got bifteki. The prawns in sauce didn't taste good at all and the other dishes were average at best. The service was subpar, the wine was bad. All in all: not again.
A very well-kept snack bar with a delicious gyro plate. Ideal for a quick, uncomplicated dinner. The portions are large and the price-performance ratio is completely right.
The service was very friendly and courteous. I was even asked if I wanted cold or tempered water.
What was particularly noticeable was the cleanliness. The tablecloth looked like new.
I think it's a shame that some customers LIE and say the store is closed, I got food here last week. The grill plate was very tasty, unfortunately not enough tzatziki.
Great restaurant. Very comfortable in the back. There are also chicken gyros and other things where you would unfortunately mostly find pork. The fact that there is also pizza doesn't bother me much.
Very tasty, we will definitely be back soon. Ouzo was perfectly crystallized.
Unfortunately I can't understand all the positive reviews...
Meat of all kinds was very fatty and tasted like oil (frying oil), gyros were partly burnt and came lukewarm, you couldn't determine the taste of the meatball, just like meat on a skewer, the beer was very well diluted and the second of two Sprites was so diluted that there was more tasted more like water than Sprite. Waitress perfume was so strong and when she was gone it still smelled like perfume for a few minutes.
Sorry, it's not recommended.
If you really want to get full, then the Acropolis Grill is the right place.
My recommendation is the Bifteki. Best in town. Oh yes, you can now sit outside.
The vegan starter came served with tzatziki made from cow's milk, even though it was explicitly labeled as vegan. Only after we asked twice did we get the vegan dish after ten minutes.
We had to wait a long time for our food and the very expensive jackfruit dish was very small, with eight pieces of jackfruit and a little pepper, so the portion of fries was larger. The vegan soy-based gyros are more recommended. You're more likely to get fed up with it even though it's five euros cheaper
It is important to explicitly say here that you live a vegan life, even if you only order vegan dishes.
