Taverna Saloniki Griechisches Restaurant in Flensburg

We were there yesterday and were thrilled. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We'll go there again.

They say there is room in the smallest hut. And that's exactly how it is in the tavern. 40 seats in a small space, but still sufficient and therefore charming. The service was friendly and attentive. There was also ouzo on the house. The food as such was well portioned, tasted good and came relatively quickly.

Unfortunately an absolute disaster. There were four of us in the taverna. Three of us ordered dishes with gyros, the fourth person ordered a turkey dish with Metaxa sauce. As soon as the food was brought to the table - after a fairly long wait - we all noticed a rather unpleasant smell, which we then blamed on the various dishes whose smells perhaps didn't harmonize well. But it quickly turned out that the smell came from the gyros. This was frankly inedible and not remotely comparable to other Greek taverns in Flensburg and the surrounding area. The only edible thing was the Suvlaki, which tasted extremely good. Unfortunately that was it. The fries were rock hard and tasted like they had been made the day before, the rice also had a strange aftertaste and the salad was absolutely carelessly prepared and didn't exactly taste convincing either. When the honorable gentleman's dissatisfaction with the gyro was raised, the response was rather rude and said that we could go into the kitchen to check that all customers were getting the meat from the same skewer and that, apart from our table, no one complained about the gyros. Since we realized that there was no talking to the gentleman, we left it at that and soon asked for the bill. It was placed on the table without comment, the money was accepted without comment and the change was dropped onto the table as we walked past without comment. Actually, the person paying would have wanted to give a small tip out of decency, but due to the absolutely non-existent service when paying, it was then pocketed again. It should also be said that the full price was charged for all dishes, although three of the four plates were more than 3/4 of the dish. Unfortunately for us that was the last time we were there, which is a shame. Until a few years ago, we and the family ate there several times a year. But back then the quality and service was 100% better.

Great place, I would even say it's an insider tip. We are always happy to be there. Back today it was really great and delicious.

Sonne aber auch sehr viel Schatten. Kleines Restaurant, sehr rustikal eingerichtet. Hat aber seinen Charme. Das Gyros sowie Souvlaki waren okay und schmackhaft. Bifteki total versalzen und ungenießbar. Die Kritik zum Bifteki wurde kommentarlos entgegengenommen. Die Metaxasoße hat nichts mit denen zu tun, die ich bisher gekannt habe. Wurde vermutlich mit Milch oder Sahne verdünnt und hatte einen sehr süßlichen Geschmack. Hat nichts im entferntesten etwas mit Metaxasoße zu tun. Der Tzatziki hatte mehr den Charakter einer Mayonnaise. Der Salatteller lieblos und geschmacklos. Da das Gyros und Souvlaki in Ordnung waren, gab es noch den 2. Stern. Preißlich ist alles in Ordnung.

Ich kann auch nicht die sehr guten Bewertungen nachvollziehen. Bedingung nett, das war rs aber auch.Das Essen war gut, aber wenig Metaxasauce was es Defensiv nicht. Und das isr für mich ist das Betrug. Pommes was gut. Salat was auch gut , aber Lieblos . Gyros war gut .Es war wenig auf dem Teller. Das Fleisch von meinem Mann war schlimm. WC ,kalt kein Tücher zum Hände abtrocknen Im ganzen nichts besonders , da gibt es Detektive bessere Griechen

Es war ein spontaner Besuch und es war schön das wir dort Platz bekommen haben. Es ist eine kleines gemütliches, nett und typisch griechisch eingerichtetes Restaurant. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker,ich persönlich fand ich den Tzatziki überhaupt nicht gut, für mich fehlte da geschmacklich alles. Es war ein Quarkhaufen,nicht mehr und auch nicht weniger. Auch in der Getränkeauswahl fehlte alles! Nicht mal stilles Wasser ( und man hätte Leitungswasser anbieten können ) gab es, keine Schorlen und auch kein Kiba . Deshalb die 3 Sterne Preislich im Mittelfeld

Der kleine, urige Grieche verdient meiner Meinung nach mehr Beachtung! Wir hatten die 27, 68a und 77. Das Gyros war krosch und saftig und das Bifteki an Geschmack und Zartheit nicht zu übertreffen!!!@ Die Portionen waren allesamt reichlich und natürlich gab es einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Die beste Qualität in und um Flensburg, wie ich finde!!!!

Das Essen war nicht so doll, man hätte das Gefühl, dass es nicht frisch zubereitet war. Der Wirt war sehr nett.

Wie immer sehr lecker und die Metaxa Sauce dort ist einmalig! Die Portionen sind nicht so groß wie bei vielen anderen Greichen. Was aber genau das zur Folge hat, dass man aufisst!

Ich bin oft da und noch nie wurde ich enttäuscht. Es ist einfach immer sehr lecker. Das Fleisch ist sehr lecker und genauso auch die Soßen.
