Completely unsympathetic service. After we wanted to sit at a table as a couple, we were told in a disrespectful tone: this is for 6 people... We went out straight away, something like that doesn't work these days if you want to win customers. Too bad.

There is still room for improvement among the female service staff, the cell phone and the pretzel sticks were more important than the guests. But the young man was very friendly and sometimes had funny sayings. The food could have been a little better, the rice noodles were overcooked, otherwise the gyros were a bit bad, but the chicken breast was very tasty. Likewise the pita with the tzatziki.

Super nice service, we felt comfortable! Even though there are few vegetarian main courses, we found what we were looking for among the starters! Highly recommended if you're charging your electric car at the Toom parking lot and looking for something delicious to eat

We have known Kavala since 1988. Ordered again today. The quality is still great, Janni is a straight forward guy and has always been correct. If you want good food, this is the place for you.

Unfortunately an absolute disaster. There were four of us in the taverna. Three of us ordered dishes with gyros, the fourth person ordered a turkey dish with Metaxa sauce. As soon as the food was brought to the table - after a fairly long wait - we all noticed a rather unpleasant smell, which we then blamed on the various dishes whose smells perhaps didn't harmonize well. But it quickly turned out that the smell came from the gyros. This was frankly inedible and not remotely comparable to other Greek taverns in Flensburg and the surrounding area. The only edible thing was the Suvlaki, which tasted extremely good. Unfortunately that was it. The fries were rock hard and tasted like they had been made the day before, the rice also had a strange aftertaste and the salad was absolutely carelessly prepared and didn't exactly taste convincing either. When the honorable gentleman's dissatisfaction with the gyro was raised, the response was rather rude and said that we could go into the kitchen to check that all customers were getting the meat from the same skewer and that, apart from our table, no one complained about the gyros. Since we realized that there was no talking to the gentleman, we left it at that and soon asked for the bill. It was placed on the table without comment, the money was accepted without comment and the change was dropped onto the table as we walked past without comment. Actually, the person paying would have wanted to give a small tip out of decency, but due to the absolutely non-existent service when paying, it was then pocketed again. It should also be said that the full price was charged for all dishes, although three of the four plates were more than 3/4 of the dish. Unfortunately for us that was the last time we were there, which is a shame. Until a few years ago, we and the family ate there several times a year. But back then the quality and service was 100% better.

A very well-kept snack bar with a delicious gyro plate. Ideal for a quick, uncomplicated dinner. The portions are large and the price-performance ratio is completely right. The service was very friendly and courteous. I was even asked if I wanted cold or tempered water. What was particularly noticeable was the cleanliness. The tablecloth looked like new.

I think it's a shame that some customers LIE and say the store is closed, I got food here last week. The grill plate was very tasty, unfortunately not enough tzatziki.
