The "Gudrun 3" is an exceptionally beautiful café with an excellent breakfast and very good coffee. However, since it's not that big and already well-known, it's hard to get a seat without a reservation.
The food is, as I said, excellent, but the price is commensurate. The value for money is always fair.
The ambiance and decor are particularly noteworthy. I particularly like the raised seating areas, which are only accessible by ladder. A unique look and definitely an eye-catcher.
Unfortunately, I don't come here as often as I'd like.
Fantastic food and lovely people. Sad that they are shutting down for good after more than 6 decades. I wish them all the best. Thank you very much. I’m sure Goldbach will miss some Great Fisch dishes 🙏
The man there wasn't friendly. We were there on a Sunday and the shop was full. He didn't give us any time and said that there was no tajin on Sundays. We then came back on Tuesday and he simply told us (Tajin is a bit easier, anyone can make it? I can't cook or something... answers like that aren't professional... and if you show something on the menu and in pictures, you either have to have it in the shop or explain to the customer that it's no longer available...).
Amazing guy. Best, falafel sandwich. Just 3 Euros. Really warm and good.
He stopped his lunch just to serve us. Very good for quick eating and filling up.
Best vegetarian option.
Fantastic 3-course meal
I tried to get a table for myself on a Wednesday evening at 6:30 on a whim.
It worked out; I got the chef's chair at the counter with a direct view of the open kitchen.
I had three courses; I could have chosen four or five courses, but three delicacies were more than enough for me that evening.
Although that wasn't entirely true, because they also offered an iced drink beforehand, what a lovely and tasty surprise!
All in all: All the chefs and waiting staff were incredibly accommodating and always attentive to the guests. Used cutlery is replaced. The dishes are lovingly prepared and served.
Just give it a try, preferably with a reservation. I was lucky by chance.
Thank you for letting me be your guest!
We've only ever been there for breakfast, but this is one of the best I've ever had. We've been going here regularly for over a year, and the quality is always consistently good!
The staff is very friendly.
Highly recommended!
My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at the Singing Diner, and it was simply wonderful. From the outside, the diner looks rather unassuming, but as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with such warmth that you immediately feel at home.
The owner, Robin, is not only incredibly kind, funny, and attentive, but also a true entertainer with a whole lot of heart. You can tell how much love he puts into everything—be it the music, the service, or the delicious food.
We were especially touched when he sang "Don't Stop Believin'" especially for us on our anniversary. It was so personal and emotional that we shed a tear or two. This moment will remain in our hearts forever.
The food was also a highlight. It was fresh, delicious, served quickly, and really affordable.
If you're looking for a chic, upscale restaurant, this might not be the right place for you, but if you're looking for a place to relax, laugh, enjoy, and marvel, the Singing Diner is the place for you.
We're overjoyed to have discovered this place and wish the Singing Diner lots of attention, love, and full tables, because such a special place simply deserves it. 💛
Thank you for this unforgettable evening, and see you soon!
