It's a shame. I was supposed to celebrate my birthday there today with good food. Instead, we didn't get our food until an hour and 45 minutes later. And then, unfortunately, the food was completely tasteless.
It's a real shame, because I've been to other Indian restaurants, and I was completely disappointed here.
Thank you for this exceptionally wonderful fine dining evening with you. The pre-ordered Chateaubriand was top-notch. Thank you very much and best regards to the kitchen. We have also rarely experienced such exceptionally good service. From the aperitif recommendation to the wine to the dessert, everything was outstanding. Mr. Gutzeit served and entertained us superbly throughout the evening. He truly understands how to cater to each guest individually. You rarely experience something like that these days. Thank you for this wonderful evening. We would be happy to come back.
Guys, I just floated out of the Oasis Imbiss in Backnang – this is no ordinary snack bar, this is a magical temple of flavor, where the gyro rises from the grill like a phoenix and customers become palate gods! I just wanted a quick meal (in the evening; the aroma drew me in like a tug of oregano), and suddenly I was on a culinary adventure that even the Greek gods would envy. The counter? It calls out to you: "Taste me, I am your feast of the gods!" Okay, maybe it was the smell of the freshly grilled pieces of meat, but in my imagination, the fries were definitely dancing with spices. The food is a dream! Look at this picture – the gyro is so juicy and perfectly seasoned, I almost sang a song about it, with crispy fries dusted with spices like stardust. The fresh onions and herbs add a kick, and the creamy bed of sauce (perhaps tzatziki or a secret weapon?) makes every bite an event. Regional precision meets Greek soul, as if the chef had been standing at the grill with Poseidon: "Fresh or nothing!" I took one bite, and whoosh – I was a king in the snack aisle! The portions? So generous they could feed a titan. Who needs a banquet when you can journey through flavors and conquer hunger with a box here?
The staff – the magicians of the kitchen! The owner not only recommended the perfect combination (gyro with everything!), he served it with a smile that shined like the sun over Santorini: "This turns hunger into a feast – or an evening into a journey!" And the service? So friendly I thought they read my mind – clean, fast, and with a heart-warming wit. The atmosphere? Inviting and fresh, with a vibe that instantly puts you in the vacation mood.
Parking? No problem: Seats nearby, as if the asphalt were welcoming you. Opening hours? Ideal for evening adventurers like me, who, after a long day, are still panting for an extra helping and come out with a bang. The prices? Fair as a divine bargain, with addictive quality.
In short: Oasis Imbiss is a crazy taste paradise—succulent, Greek, magical, and unforgettable. Go there, let yourself be enchanted by the gyros, and come out a taste sensation. 5 stars, because more only exists in mythology! 🌯🔥⭐
What a low profile but nice Italian restaurant II Panino is.
Comparing to their location at Metzingen Outlet City, this location at Reutlingen is more joyful from the vibe perspective, as alll the waiters here work with you full of passion.
Meanwhile, here at II Panino Reutlingen, there's no fixed menu, they change their Daily Specials frequently, so that they can serve all the dishes fast and fresh.
Ordered their tomato sauce beef rolls and mussels/clams spaghetti, LOVE both dishes so much, especially the beef rolls, tender beef wrap up the Scarmorza 🧀 cheese, so good that it should be served as main dish!!!
The dumplings taste super delicious...but the price for what is supposedly 10 large dumplings (€14.50) is disproportionate and completely overpriced. In Thailand, you pay 200 BAT (€2.60) for seven much larger dumplings, and for the price in Germany, you'd expect a correspondingly large size. Never again at this price point!
Tried it yesterday. Great taste and fresh ingredients. It was recommended to me, and I'll always order from here when I'm nearby. The big kebab chains could take a look at how they do it. Highly recommended 👌👌👌
We love the food at this little Greek restaurant! Every time we go, it feels like a little piece of Greece in the middle of Heidelberg. The gyro pitta is particularly delicious – fresh, spicy, and simply authentic. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves Greek food!
