TSUBAKI 椿 in Köln

Wir kamen um 21:10 Uhr an, kurz bevor die Küche um 21:30 Uhr schloss. Das Restaurant wollte uns nicht mehr bedienen, da die Küche bald schloss. Die Taxifahrt war rausgeschmissenes Geld.

Wie in Japan! Perfektes Essen: Karage, Gyoza und eine überragende Una-Ju. Butterweicher Aal auf leckerem Reis, wunderbar. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Preise sind gehoben aber angemessen. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Erfahrung.

Heute Abend haben wir zwei Tsubaki-Sushiplatten und eine Sakura-Sushiplatte gegessen. Der Fisch ist wirklich erstklassig und nicht dünn geschnitten, sondern genau so, wie es sein soll, wenn Sushi wie in Japan sein soll. Wenn man wirklich gutes Sushi essen möchte, kann ich dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

Das Lokal war an einem Dienstags Abend total leer. Das hat das sehr nüchterne Ambiente sehr verstärkt Sushi war ok, aber nicht vergleichbar mit den Japanern in Düsseldorf

Wer authentische japanische Küche erleben möchte, ist im Tsubaki genau richtig. Wir hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte und alle haben uns vorzüglich geschmeckt. Die Qualität und Frische der Zutaten erlebt man selten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der Service: extrem aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich esse häufig und sehr gerne japanisch, bin auch oft in Japan und koche selbst Japanisch. Diese Sushi gehört zum besten was ich in Deutschland je bekommen habe, der Reis ist ausgezeichnet, der Fisch ebenfalls und dazu großzügig portioniert. Dazu hat dieses Restaurant eine ziemlich vielfältige Sake Karte wo die verschiedenen Tropfen auch gut erklärt werden.

Fantastisches Essen, sehr schöne und ruhige Atmosphäre, ein authentischer Geschmack Japans.

Ich liebe diesen Ort, wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher, das beste Sushi, das wir in Köln gegessen haben, und die Atmosphäre ist sehr ruhig, absolut empfehlenswert.

Absoluter Geheim-Tipp in Köln! Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen hier und sind restlos begeistert. Wir hatten beide eine Portion frischen, hausgemachten Ramen. Unglaublich lecker und geschmacklich top. Was besonders toll ist an dem Laden: Es gibt jede Woche eine neue Mittagsgericht-Karte, was für Abwechslung und Frische sorgt. Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Ich kann das Mittagsmenu jeden empfehlen. Die aktuellen Menüs stehen direkt am Restaurant. Leider werden diese nicht immer online aktualisiert, aber man kann problemlos telefonisch nachfragen.

Ich war heute im japanischen Restaurant Tsubaki in Köln! einfach großartig! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und von bester Qualität, wirklich authentisch japanisch. Alles war frisch und perfekt zubereitet. Die Dame, die uns bedient hat, war super freundlich und aufmerksam, man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Eine fantastische Erfahrung, die man so nicht oft findet. Absolut empfehlenswert!!! ich komme ganz sicher wieder! 🌸🍣

Some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. Excellent. Restaurant was clean, excellent service. They even had kids chairs for our small children!

Extremely unfriendly service. We ordered fried chicken and received it, but it was raw. We politely pointed out to her that the chicken was raw and that we couldn't and didn't want to eat it like that. Two minutes later, she came back with the same plate and very aggressively pointed out to us that it wasn't raw. Overall, a total flop, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Came here with friends and Tsubaki is a hidden gem that comes highly recommended! Delicious high quality sushi, we were are very satisfied with both the presentation and flavour. We started with tempura - ordering one prawn plate and one with prawns and veggies. Then we had the mixed platter “Tsubaki“ and mixed bowl Chibari - excellent! We chose beer and cold sake taster (3) to complement our meal. For dessert we enjoyed the green tea ice cream (but vowed to come back to try the handmade matcha terrine). Overall, a simple small place but with minimalistic decor, very attentive service and we had a wonderful evening! Looking forward to our next visit already!

We had a fantastic evening at Tsubaki. Aside from the extremely friendly service we enjoyed, the six of us had a delicious meal. No matter whether it's a selection of sushi, tempura dishes, eel or schnitzel. All dishes were very tasty, beautifully presented and of very good quality. We would love to come back...

Actually everything is very good. Unfortunately the service is somewhat inflexible. Even after an extensive dinner with several bottles of wine, from around 9.30 p.m. you will be informed several times that it will be closing soon. Deviations from the menu (starters for 6 people, please, mixed) are not possible, ordering in a larger group is time-consuming and some things are missing later.

The restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel, and we walked in without a reservation. At that time the restaurant was not full and they were able to accommodate us. We ordered the tempura rice and the sashimi rice and they were delicious. The service was good and fast.

Very nice and tasty food. I found it in google. The food was excellent with amazing taste, a real surprise . I think I eat one of the best tempura, very nice. Then all food was well made. For the desert I took the green mint that was lovely. A place to go in Cologne if you want some nice sushi. Only point that could be improved, the ventilation or cooling, your outfit will smell.

Friends invited us to a birthday dinner and got to know our new favorite restaurant. The food was excellent, tasty, fresh and special. The owners are kind-hearted, friendly people. We will be coming more often now.

What a nice and cute place, where for a couple of hours you might feel like you're in Japan thanks to the kind, friendly service, peaceful ambiente and delicious food. The sushi with tuna are melting on your tongue, so good! From starter to dessert , everything was wonderful!We've been there twice and we were every time so satisfied and happy of our visit. We can warmly recommend it and will come back.

The food is fantastic, the ingredients are fresh and the lady who served us was very nice and professional. Since the dishes are all freshly prepared, you'll need to take a little more time, but it's worth it! The ambience is simple but tasteful, there is a very calm atmosphere. Perfect for romantic meetings, wedding anniversaries, birthdays and business lunches. We went there on a recommendation and can only agree with our friends' conclusion: Best sushi in Cologne and the surrounding area.

We enjoyed it. Went there at lunchtime and had 1x sushi and 1x tonkatsu. Both were really very tasty. The sushi in particular was much better than anything comparable here in Cologne. Gladly again.

Really a pleasant restaurant. Exquisite sushi: I have never had such good Maguro Nigiri and Hotate Nigiri. But the desserts are incredible. Wasabi ice cream with teriyaki sauce, an incredibly balanced flavor composition. And the chocolate matcha terrine also melts in your mouth.

Ausgezeichnete japanische Küche. In diesem Restaurant stimmte wirklich alles. Die probierten warmen Vorspeisen, Karaage & Tempura, wurden perfekt auf den Punkt zubereitet und waren sehr saftig und knusprig. Die Sushi-Gerichte waren äußerst zart und von bester Qualität. Hier kann man wirklich ohne Sorge alles probieren und genießen. Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet und strahlt ein warmes Ambiente aus. Bedienung und Chefkoch (beide aus Japan) waren ebenfalls äußerst freundlich und professionell. Man kann hier die echte "Japan-Experience" erleben. Wir werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen.

Kleines sympathisches Nippon-Restaurant mit Mittagstisch für 12,50 Euro inklusive Getränk Apfelschorle. Tagesgericht mundet durchaus, Chicken hätte etwas zarter sein können. Leckere Miso-Suppe inbegriffen. Freundliche Bedienung. Kein Parkplatz.

Der Laden hat eine angenehme und besondere Atmosphäre - durch die Kombination aus unaufdringlicher, ruhiger Hintergrundmusik, geschmackvoller Einrichtung, und eine warmherzige Bedienung. Das Essen war nicht 100% mein Fall, aber es war alles frisch und sorgfältig zubereitet. Der Sake-Test mit drei verschiedenen Sorten war sehr interessant. Insgesamt ist die Sake-Auswahl hervorragend!

Wer in Köln nach japanischer Küche sucht, wird im Restaurant Tsubaki fündig. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist kein Fastfood. Das Ambiente lässt einen direkt in Japan eintauchen. Auf der Innenterrasse kann ich persönlich im Sommer abschalten. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und nehmen sich Zeit für Erklärungen der Gerichte. Bisher fand ich jedes probierte Gericht lecker. Wer etwas exotisches ausprobieren will sollte sich ein kleines Schälchen Natto bestellen. Mich und meine Freunde hat das Restaurant überzeugt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

El mejor restaurante de sushi en Colonia. He probado muchos en la ciudad y este es definitivamente el mejor. La relación calidad precio es perfecta, así como el servicio. El arroz está cocinado perfectamente, está jugoso y tiene un sabor perfecto. El pescado del sushi lo mismo, un sabor y una calidad excepcional. Es una lástima ver que locales así no están tan llenos y otros que ofrecen una porquería de sushi si lo están. No te arrepentirás de probarlo.

Dieser Laden stand schon seit einer Ewigkeit auf meiner Liste. Man kann sowohl drinnen, als auch draußen in einem kleinen Innenhof sitzen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und herumgeführt, bis wir uns doch für einen Platz drinnen entschieden haben. Wir haben uns für japanisches Bier und eine Yuzu (-Wein) Schorle entschieden (absolute Empfehlung). Das Essen hat recht lange gedauert, allerdings weißt schon die Karte darauf hin, dass es hier mal was länger dauert, da alles frisch zubereitet wird. Wir hatten die Aal und die Sakura Platte. Kein fancy Schnickschnack, einfach nur sehr gutes, frisches und liebevoll angerichtetes Essen 🤌🏼 Wer Qualität und eine gute Zeit schätzt, ist hier richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ❤️

High End Sushi, entsprechend hochpreisig, aber jeden € wert. Sehr fein im Geschmack. Einziges Manko: Im Winter ist innen etwas kalt, aber Decken liegen bereit. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Es gab eine Riesen Auswahl an Sake und dazu auch eine ausführliche Erklärung und der Sake war auch super lecker. Die Bedienung war super nett und das Essen sehr, sehr lecker und jeden Cent wert! Sehr toller kleiner Laden mit leckeren Sushi. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett. Preise auch absolut angemessen. Kartenzahlung ist problemlos möglich, auch mobil mit NFC. Atmosphäre ist auch wirklich toll und einladend. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Leckeres japanisches Essen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr heimelig und die Besitzerin sehr zuvorkommend und stets im Kimono unterwegs.
