The tofu was cold when I ordered it. I ordered sparkling water for over €4 and just got tap water in a glass with a straw!

The place looks a bit unassuming from the outside, right in the middle of Friesenplatz, but the service is always very friendly. And the food is always so delicious. If I order extra tofu, there's always a lot of it. Everything is prepared very fresh and tastes amazing. The place is really great.

We went to this Vietnamese restaurant rather spontaneously because it caught our eye as we were walking by – and it was one of the best decisions we've made in a long time. The service was friendly, attentive, and warm without being intrusive. You feel welcome from the very first moment. The portions are huge and very reasonably priced. The highlight for me was definitely the food: The fried glass noodles with chicken are, without exaggeration, among the best dishes I've ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, fresh, and absolutely delicious – you can immediately tell that the food is cooked with skill and passion. This is a restaurant you don't just stumble upon by chance, but one you'll want to visit again and again. A definite 5 stars – we'll definitely be back.

I came here because of the very good Google reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The quality of the food is simply fantastic. Since we were there on a Wednesday evening, we were lucky to get a table. So I recommend making a reservation. There were three of us, and we ordered a mixed sushi platter, Tokyo style. They accommodated our requests for changes to the platter, so we swapped the soup. The seating is close, but cozy. The service could be a bit more attentive, but all in all, it's still worth five stars.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have visited

I ate there because they have vegan Pad Thai. The ambiance and decor are quite nice. The staff are quick and friendly. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. I had the vegan duck version, which was quite alright. The duck from Well Being, however, is significantly tastier. My friend had the tofu version, which I'll try next time. Generally, I prefer to go to purely vegan or vegetarian restaurants, but I haven't had Pad Thai in a long time. It's reminiscent of the original, but it doesn't taste quite the same. Maybe you have to be in Thailand to experience it... ☺️😋 I'm happy to give the restaurant and the food 4 stars and will come back. They also have other vegan dishes. It's a great place to visit if you have a mixed-diet group or if someone wants to eat vegan Pad Thai.

The sushi was very tasty, but the curry was rather bland. From the moment we finished eating, the atmosphere became unpleasant. It was very hectic, and we were pressured to pay quickly because new guests were waiting. My request for tea after the meal was only reluctantly granted, and I had to finish it at a table outside the restaurant. If you're looking for inexpensive sushi, it's a good place to go, but not if you want to spend a relaxing evening there.

In my opinion, a complete disappointment. The food was bland, the lemonade tasted like cough syrup, and the service was practically nonexistent, as they were too busy with Christmas decorations. We had to ask for the bill three times. Incidentally, we were the only people in the restaurant at lunchtime. We came because of the good reviews, but an empty restaurant is usually a bad sign. Almost all of our plates were sent back. There are so many delicious, comparable restaurants; the positive reviews are baffling to me.

The food is greasy. Pad Thai without lime wedges or acidity. Tastes like rice noodles with soy sauce. Meat substitute with a lot of breading. Not recommended.

First off: I'm still a novice when it comes to Vietnamese sushi and simply wanted to try something new. The My-Da Garden is beautifully decorated, and we (two people) were warmly welcomed. We opted for the Kyoto set for two, along with a passion fruit juice and a homemade iced tea – all for just under €64. Unfortunately, the juice was a bit weak, but the iced tea was really delicious. The miso soup was alright, but just not to my personal taste. The sushi was served very attractively, even with a little "steam fountain" at the table! Everything tasted fantastic, fresh, and delicious, and the portions were more than ample. We were accidentally brought the wrong dish twice, and we had to move to make room for other guests – but the staff were consistently friendly and apologetic, so it wasn't a big deal. All in all, a wonderful evening in a lovely restaurant. I find the price a bit high, but I can hardly judge it without having anything to compare it to. I can definitely recommend the My-Da garden!

Unfortunately, it's more of a concept for the masses. My harvest was unfortunately slimy instead of crispy. 50% of the makis were missing avocado.

This is the second time I've been here with my girlfriend. Both times, we were very satisfied. The food tastes great, and the portions are extremely generous. The staff was also very accommodating. I particularly want to highlight the vegan options; they feel like completely independent and well-conceived dishes. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone.

It was simply perfect. I had fried udon with crispy chicken; it was a flavor bomb. I drank a lychee cocktail (alcohol-free) with it, which was so good I wanted to drink it all in one sitting. The place is worth it.

Unfortunately, for the second time in a row, I couldn't stomach the food at all, despite trying a different dish. Unfortunately, this has deteriorated considerably in recent years.

A small restaurant with a large family working for it. And they serve dishes in an interesting way and with soul. I sat down to a set and I liked it and drank whiskey. I do it for people! It is possible to sit inside or outside. I sat inside. Lots of people. It is very noisy inside, that is the only drawback.

To end my girlfriend's birthday in a relaxed atmosphere, we went to this beautifully decorated restaurant – on her brother's recommendation. We ordered the No. 40C, and I have to say: It was the best Asian dish I've ever eaten. We were served by an extremely friendly older gentleman who was very welcoming and quickly made sure we were comfortable – we immediately took him to our "uncle." We also had a perfectly mixed non-alcoholic cocktail. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and visit more often in the future. The legend from North Rhine-Westphalia, Muro S, certainly didn't overpromise.

We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews and were unfortunately disappointed. We received a very unfriendly greeting, and the waiter slammed our menus onto our table. Taking our orders was also very unpleasant. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed disinterested. We had a soda, a water, cucumber and avocado maki, as well as pho and pad Thai. Unfortunately, the sushi rice didn't taste good at all (mushy and tasteless). The pho had no taste at all, and even adding more seasoning couldn't salvage it. The pad Thai was okay, but not particularly good. It could have used a bit more seasoning. Unfortunately, we don't understand the good reviews, or we were just unlucky.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Cologne and the surrounding area. Nice atmosphere, but above all: top food and a very wide variety on the menu. Of course there are many vegetarian/vegan versions. Portion sizes are generous/too large - the price/performance ratio is more than fair. Great, absolutely recommended! Table reservations are advisable as it is well attended.

A truly great experience at My-Da Garden! There were four of us there, and we all had different dishes – and absolutely everything was delicious! The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere with the lovely seating was very pleasant. The appetizers were consistently good, the soup was a bit small, and the edamame could have benefited from a bit of salt on top – but these are just small details. Particularly noteworthy: the mango curry – highly recommended! Payment was easy, both in cash and by card. The highlight at the end: We were given a melon as a gift for dessert – a really nice gesture! Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Very satisfied – 10/10!

Spectacular, we loved both the food and the service. Hearty dishes and very good prices for the quality they offer. Considering you're in a city like Colonia, I think it's the best value for money. Quality and fresh sushi, very well made. In my case, I ordered curry with crispy duck; it was amazing, delicious! The total cost was about €30 per person. I would definitely go back.

We had reserved a table and were greeted very warmly by the gentleman outside. After a short wait, we were shown to our table. The food was truly delicious! The service could definitely have been better. The wait staff seemed quite overwhelmed. When the sushi platter arrived, the employee was annoyed, rude, and rude, as there was hardly any room on the table—a very inappropriate tone, though. Another tip: As you walk by, perhaps clear away any empty dishes so you have space and don't have to be rude to the customers.

I've been driving past My-Da Garden on Friesenplatz for at least five years now – and after my first visit, I wondered why I've only just arrived. I was really pleasantly surprised! The service is super friendly and fast, the food is really fresh and delicious. The only downside: Unfortunately, the restaurant gets quite drafty because the entrance door is always open. The people at the two tables next to me were also wearing jackets – which was a bit uncomfortable.

We had sushi and fried glass noodles with chicken. Good portion size. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We were very satisfied with the taste.

Tastes good if you don't care what you eat... We ordered 2 vegan main courses to take away. At home we discovered that one of the dishes contained egg and the other contained meat. We complained via email. The management wrote that it was Seitan and that it never contained egg. There was no response to another email with photos of meat and eggs. No insight, apology, or compensation. Customer service non-existent. I can only strongly advise against the restaurant for vegans, vegetarians or allergy sufferers.

The service is always very friendly and attentive, the food is simply a taste explosion every time (I have to say that I always have the same dish). My-Da Garden is one of the few restaurants that still has reasonable prices. Therefore the price-performance ratio is also great! It is and remains one of my favorite restaurants! HAIR in food – and no excuse! As MARKED in the photo, there was a BLACK HUMAN HAIR in my chicken udon - simply UNFORGIVEN for a restaurant with such a long history. I reported it to the waiter, who took the plate away without comment - NO APOLOGY, nothing. I stayed CALM so as not to cause a stir - obviously a MISTAKE. My silence was seen as WEAKNESS because until the end there was NEITHER AN APOLOGY OR ANY ACCOMMODATION. A new plate? None. After 3 minutes the same plate came back - hair removed as if everything was okay. This is simply HIGHLY GREAT. Should I end up paying FULL PRICE – for a dish with extra hair? If you like eating HUMAN HAIR: You've come to the right place.

The food was really top. But really expensive compared to some other restaurants. There was next to no service. During the entire time we weren't asked again if we wanted something to drink and we didn't receive a hello at the entrance either. It was a bit strange but in the end you're there to eat.

The classic coconut curry soup is also of the highest quality. The ambience is stylish and cozy. The decoration is designed with great attention to detail, so that you immediately feel at home. The staff are not only professional, but also warm and attentive. You can tell they care about service. And best of all: the prices are absolutely fair for the quality you get. It was my first time at this Vietnamese restaurant and I absolutely loved it! The dishes are not only fresh and authentic, but also incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent: friendly, attentive and welcoming. The high quality of the Suhi and the great ambience completely convinced me: I will definitely come back and bring friends and family with me next time. This restaurant is really worth a visit!

The restaurant was well attended this time, but the quality of the food decreased. The food was served quickly, but the sauce was only lukewarm and cooled down quickly. The meat was no longer tender but dry, as was the breading. It's a shame because the food was warmed up.

We had reserved a table for the evening and received a confirmation email. You could see the queue in front of the restaurant from far away... All people had reservations, some of them almost an hour ahead of us. The people at the restaurant didn't care and even made jokes while we stood in the cold. After 30 minutes we gave up. Have been here many times, but never again. The restaurant's handling of the situation was simply impossible.

We had a reservation at 7:45pm yesterday. However, when we arrived we were told to queue outside even though we had a reservation. This meant we had to wait an hour in the cold. When we finally got in and ordered, the waiter informed us that the food would take 30 minutes to prepare as the restaurant was crowded. After 20 minutes he brought us chicken rolls that we hadn't even ordered. When we told him this, he insisted that we had ordered them - but I know best what I did and didn't order. Behind the counter I saw a man with brown-orange hair picking his nose with his little and index fingers. At that moment I lost my appetite. But that wasn't all: After the matter with the poultry rolls was resolved, the waiter came to us again and claimed that we hadn't ordered anything. This was a complete shock as he had taken our order himself. When we pointed this out to him, he boldly showed us his tablet and said: "There's nothing there, the order has been deleted." He then said: "If you can't wait 10 minutes, you can get up and leave." When we actually wanted to get up, he suddenly said it would only take 10 minutes. Every other guest had already received their drinks, and finally another waitress brought us our drinks. This level of disorganization and blaming your own mistakes on customers is simply unacceptable. An absolute disaster!

We made reservations for Valentine's Day by phone. When we got to the door on time, there was a queue in front of the restaurant DESPITE RESERVATION. We had to stand in the cold and couldn't get in even though we had reserved in advance. We weren't the only ones with this mess. We talked to 2 other couples who had made reservations at the same time and were also not allowed in. Disaster! To make matters worse, one of the employees then said that as a couple we should give each other chocolate if we didn't want to wait. It doesn't work at all!!

I had reserved a table for Valentine's Day. When we arrived there was already a long queue in front of the restaurant. It was hopelessly overbooked. Unfortunately, the employees didn't really care. It's also not the first time that something doesn't work out with a reservation there. Therefore, unfortunately not really recommended.

The rude owner told us to give chocolate as a gift on Valentine's Day because the restaurant was overbooked. Several people stood in front of the restaurant despite reservations!!!!

Even with a reservation you have to wait in line! Talked to the boss who said: 500 reservations 200 places. You can still reserve on the website without any problems. Man man man
