My-Da Garden in Köln

We didn't have a reservation for New Year's Eve, but we still got a spot. Service very friendly. The food was very tasty! I can only warmly recommend the curries!

There were 3 of us eating there. My wife had rice noodles with chicken. That was really excellent. My daughter and I had sushi. The tempura rolls were tasty, the sauce is tastier at our two favorite places, but still good. The chicken insideout was solid. Maybe we could pay a little more attention to the quality of the cucumbers and avocado. The Lacks Maki and Eel Nigiri were the best I have ever eaten. Simply world class. Unfortunately, my wife's food arrived about 5 minutes later, so the timing could still be worked on. The restaurant is quite new, very clean and nicely decorated. The potential is very big. We'll definitely come back again.

I ordered via gastro-now.com. It said 40 minutes cooking time when ordering, but no time for delivery itself. Tracking didn't work via the website. The food came over 1 hour later. Unfortunately we got edamame instead of the baked shrimp and only got 4 nem halves (!) instead of the 4 nems we ordered. Ordering via the in-house website was overall disappointing.

Really incredibly tasty and fresh food, for a fantastic price and served super quickly. Also very nice drinks and attention to how the dish looks. We had dinner the night before at Neni at the top of the 25 hours hotel the circle. That was literally 3x as expensive and not nearly as good as this food. If we had stayed another day we would have gone to My da garden again. Recommended!!

I had a disappointing experience at a Vietnamese restaurant. The staff, especially a middle-aged woman, was incredibly rude. When I asked a simple question about the curry, she pushed my hand aside and told me to stop in a harsh tone. The food was also disappointing—bland and far from authentic. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I've always really enjoyed eating here (1-3 times a week!), but my experience today was simply incredibly brazen and far from customer-focused. I pre-ordered via the website at 6:15 p.m. for pickup at 7:30 p.m. This was confirmed to me over the phone. I emphasized that I urgently need a receipt because I bill the company. No problem they said. When I arrived on time, it was quite busy and my food wasn't quite ready yet, my main course was already in the bag and a few other things next to it, which later turned out to be the rest of my dishes. At 7:45 p.m. I was still waiting while my food was getting cold the whole time. At 7:50 p.m. my cold food was handed to me and I wanted to pay. That was probably problematic because the lady entered the dishes but the prices in the restaurant were probably cheaper than online - no problem, I don't care. However, I needed a suitable receipt, which the lady apparently couldn't provide in her cash register system. So she omitted the fee for the online order after 5 minutes of further attempts (I was in a hurry and had made a special introduction). Anything can happen, it's human nature and I remained friendly until the end. And then the shock, at 10 p.m. (who does something like that) the restaurant calls me because I supposedly didn't want to pay the 4 euros and that was now a problem. What a disgrace, as far as I was concerned they could have put a dish on it so that the amount on the receipt was correct, the waitress proactively said it didn't matter now. I saw this as compensation for my half-hour wait despite having ordered in advance, but they wanted to collect the €4 from me. It's a shame, I've always enjoyed eating here, but allegations like I didn't want to pay an amount and this general insolence make it impossible for me in the future. I will bring these 4€ over as a matter of principle and that will be my last visit.

The taste of the dishes is simply excellent - every dish was fresh and harmonious. I was especially struck by the presentation - everything looked like a real work of art. I would especially like to note the calm and quiet atmosphere, which made it possible to enjoy dinner to the fullest. Thank you for a wonderful evening, I will definitely come back again❤️

The Pad Thai was barely seasoned and cannot be described as “Pad Thai”. Fried noodles would be a more accurate description. No bean sprouts or lime as a side dish. The Phô soup was also hardly seasoned. Service was friendly and the food came quickly.

Unfortunately, some of us's chicken was still raw, which lingered after each of us, so we all left the restaurant with stomach aches. Teriyaki curry was very salty. I personally didn't like the atmosphere - I felt like I was at a children's birthday party or in Phantasialand. It wasn't particularly comfortable

The food we ordered was unseasoned and only tasted like water with noodles. When I asked the employee whether it was possible to add more seasoning, he seemed quite annoyed and pointed out the option of salt, pepper, chilli and garlic. Afterwards the soup tasted like water with salt, chilli and a little garlic. The food was inedible. So I put it aside while my friend continued eating. The sight bothered the employee and he started complaining. So an employee came over and tried the soup and seemed to think that everything was right with the soup. All subjective experiences, so she took the soup and asked me to pay anyway. It was cheeky in itself, but she didn't ask me once if I would like to order something else. Service, friendliness, quality all 0/5 stars…

I have tried many Asian restaurants in Cologne, but this Vietnamese restaurant is really the best! The food is absolutely perfect – authentic, fresh and full of flavor. The service is also excellent, friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more pleasant. Every time I'm here I'm amazed by the consistently high quality. I can only recommend everyone to try this restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit!

Ordered sushi on a Sunday morning. The delivery took 1h39m instead of 25-40min (!!!) The schedule was already ruined. The 3 different inside out rolls were delicious. Especially the Dragon Roll. But: Almost every roll fell apart just when touched with the sticks. The summer rolls contained ONE shrimp per roll and otherwise only green waste. Soy sauce was NOT included at all. Unfortunately a very disappointing experience :(

Well, service was pleasant enough, but the food wasn't as expected. Unfortunately my food arrived cold and my friend's sushi was very soggy/soaked because of the sauce on it. Then it was no longer so crispy on the outside, just soggy :( a shame...

We were there at lunchtime and can highly recommend the homemade lemonades. The food was outstanding! Price is completely okay and staff is very friendly :)

The food was okay, but the staff was quite unfriendly. You didn't feel welcome and it seemed like you wanted to scare your customers out. I cannot recommend visiting this restaurant if you value good service. That is definitely not present here.

Today we were with you by chance. Because we weren't served in the Maison Sen restaurant. I've been going there more often since it opened four years ago. But the service there was probably not in the mood today. We were with you for the first time today. We received a super friendly welcome. Ordered very quickly. We took My Da Curi, red curry with breaded chicken and My Da Teriyaki with chicken. The food looked great and was super tasty. The portion was large, we almost didn't manage to eat everything. We also drank a homemade juice. It also looked and tasted good to the eye. Price/performance/portion great. Thank you⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommended site. The food is very good, varied and of quality. In addition, the portions are generous and the quality-price ratio is unbeatable. The best for lunch-dinner in Cologne, if you want to eat something different from typical German food.

WOW!!! We were here for the first time today and were totally thrilled. The food tasted incredibly good and the portions were filling. I chose the udon noodles with crispy duck and can highly recommend the dish. The meat was tender and crispy at the same time. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. We'll come again! :)

Beautiful and super tasty! The owners and waiters are super nice and fulfill every wish. The food is incredibly tasty and beautifully served. The portions are huge, so everyone will definitely go home with a full stomach. You can see that a lot of love has been put into this restaurant.

My visit to My-Da Garden in Cologne was surprisingly good. I opted for lunch and was not disappointed. The selection was diverse and appealing. To start I ordered the raw tuna on ice which was fresh and delicious. I was really impressed by the quality and presentation of the dish. For the main course I chose the red curry with chicken. The combination of spices and flavors was perfectly balanced and really tantalized my taste buds. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive, which made my visit even more enjoyable. I really felt at home in My-Da Garden and can only recommend a visit here. The positive experience I had will definitely bring me back here.

Good ambience and great service + delicious food with a nice presentation

The food is actually really tasty. However, we received the wrong sushi rolls and didn't notice this until a little later. We then asked to get the ones we ordered. We were just told that this would take a long time because there was so much going on. The language barrier did the rest, so after 20 minutes we asked whether we would get new ones, which was then answered in the negative. A price reduction was only available upon request. However, only 3€ for rolls that cost 13€ and which we never received. Therefore very disappointing in terms of service.

The BEST Vietnamese in all of Cologne! The service is a 100 out of 10, the customer is clearly king here. The portions are decent and the food is always fresh, the outside area is a highlight in summer. Price/performance is TOP, if you haven't been here yet you're missing out.

The food was relatively okay, the price was also okay. The service was hectic and reacted angrily to special requests. The overall atmosphere was very restless and a bit run down. The toilets weren't clean either.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Unsere Tochter hat eine Extraportion Chicken erhalten. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis super. Wir können das Lokal sehr empfehlen.

We were there for dinner two nights ago, sitting outside. When ordering I showed the photo of the dish and emphasized we both want this. Some minutes later they came with another ones and when I showed the photo again, the waiter said this is for the next restaurant and not ours! And it’s your problem not ours!! So although from beginning they got mistakenly we were at their table, they didn’t inform us. The waiters were not friendly The food was ordinary and a little more expensive. We didn’t enjoy our food and we won’t go back their again

Nice Vietnamese restaurant with really tasty food. Rarely have I had such a crispy and delicious duck as in this restaurant. The homemade lemonades are not only an aesthetic eye-catcher but also really delicious and refreshing.

Eating out. But ONLY after we had finished eating were we told that we couldn't pay by card. An impudence ! You have to tell us something like that beforehand! We have to leave Cologne and they said we should leave our passport with us because we didn't have denigrate cash money and wanted to pay with a card. It doesn't work at all. DEFINITELY DO NOT EAT HERE!

A funny man in a winter jacket and hat welcomes the guests, seats them according to their wishes, hands them the menu and immediately tells the waitress. The order is taken quickly - and the food is served a little too quickly. Unfortunately, the baked rice paper rolls were far too dark and dripping with fat, apparently warmed up in the deep fryer. The wonton soup with a very nice flavor, tasty wontons and vegetables. Overall ok, the prices are ok for the location. Crowd very mixed, the whole thing has more of the feel of a snack bar and is quite loud and hectic. Ambience could be better maintained.

The meat and drinks were very tasty. There was a good crowd, which was very positive for us. Unfortunately, the ratio of vegetables, pasta and meat wasn't quite right for us, as there was a lot of salad and meat.

I can't recommend it. The delivery only came after over two hours. There was no soy sauce, hardly any ginger or wasabi. The sushi was okay, but nothing special. I won't order anymore.

We eat here really often and the staff is always very friendly and the food is good. The sushi can certainly be eaten better in a Japanese restaurant, but it's okay. The meat dishes are really good. Udon noodles or rice dishes are very tasty. We also order frequently and the food always arrives warm and usually within 30 minutes.

When I was in Cologne on business, I discovered this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try. It was a pleasant surprise! The dishes were delicious and offered an explosion of flavors that exceeded my expectations. The location of the restaurant was ideal and the atmosphere was inviting. It was definitely a highlight of my trip to Cologne. I enjoyed it so much that I went to this restaurant all three evenings.

This place does not accept credit/debit cards after 10 pm. They do not explain this to you when you arrive. It wasn't until we checked out that the waitress explained to us. Had to run to the nearest ATM to get cash late at night. Not the best customer experience. The food was delicious though. Amazing presentation too.

I was in the corner for work and only had half an hour. It was sunny and compared to the other corner shops, My-Da looked inviting and the lunch special was Pad Thai. In anticipation of a Thai restaurant, I ordered an iced tea with lemon. When the tea came I realized my mistake. Not Thai, a Vietnamese. The food was fresh and also reminiscent of Pad Thai. The service was OK. You can do it.

Very bad restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was there alone yesterday and ordered 12 and 20c. Instead of 12, it served something different without prior information. I thought it was just a free side dish and I asked and the owner replied that it was just a side dish... But that was a scam. When paying, the waitress forced me to pay (it wasn't menu 12 (fried shrimp), but very cheap beans), but I didn't order it!!!!!!!!!! I never want to leave again. Not recommended at all. (PS: The old owner was watching me all the time while I was eating. Maybe he was afraid that I was a traveler and that I might run away secretly. It's a very bad management method that only seeks money.)

Quite slow service, it took more than an hour to serve us, you couldn't pay by card (it wasn't indicated anywhere) The food is nothing special, the sushi menu is very large, but the pho was quite bland.

I have never seen such disrespectful behavior!!!! I reserved a table for 14 people because today is a very important day and exactly when you get there the Rappel restaurant is full and others were seated at our table. So disrespectful and irresponsible. Not recommended. Simply embarrassing!!!!!

I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant today, March 8th, 2024, and I am completely thrilled. The ambience was beautifully designed, the service was attentive and courteous and the food was simply fabulous. The menu offered a successful mix of classic and creative dishes that exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining there again soon. An absolute highlight for all gourmets and connoisseurs!

The delivery was 30min late although we ordered 2 hours earlier. Food was not that warm as expected. We received not even a sorry. The food tasted good, but there’s so much artificial flavor added in, eg. glutamate. It’s very disappointing, I will not order again.

We ordered food here. I am pregnant and therefore ordered, among other things, vegetarian sushi. I've often ordered vegetarian sushi from other stores before, but it always came in special packaging, so it wasn't specifically mentioned. Here everything came together in a package, at first you couldn't tell which one was vegetarian and it touched raw fish on all sides. I doubt that vegetarian food and raw fish are separated in the kitchen. Also quite relevant for vegetarians. I won't be ordering again anytime soon. It's also expensive for semi-tasty food. Overall not recommended.

Have been there several times and always satisfied. Decent portions, lots of meat and deliciously prepared. The funny older gentleman who greets customers in front of the shop is just part of it and makes it very likeable.

We asked for a free table for two people at short notice on New Year's Eve. This was made possible spontaneously. The food came quickly, even just before closing time, and was very tasty. We weren't put under any pressure to eat quickly, even though it was just before the restaurant closed on New Year's Day. I can only recommend the restaurant. The service was also nice and courteous.

Wollten mit Gutschein zahlen. Am Telefon wurde mehrfach bei Erwähnung davon aufgelegt. Vor Ort dann: kein Thunfisch mehr da, wir sollen morgen wiederkommen. Haben gesagt es soll einfach durch andere Sushis ersetzt werden. Kellner wollte erst nicht, hat in Küche nachgefragt und dann ging es doch. Anrichten war schön. Manko: heute ist der nächste Tag und liege mit magen-darm flach. Nicht zu empfehlen.
