Die Gemüse-Gyoza waren viel zu salzig, aber die Tiger-Roll-Sushi waren sehr lecker. Der Litschi-Eistee war leider nur mittelmäßig.

Wir haben bbq Chicken-Wings, eine Ramen und drei Sushi-Sets bestellt; geschmacklich war die Ramen durchschnittlich und das Sushi frisch und lecker, aber insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz für eine Sushi set 16-17 Euro finde ich sehr teuer.

Das Essen ist jedes Mal wirklich sehr gut, frisch und hochwertig. Man merkt, dass auf Qualität geachtet wird und geschmacklich 10/10! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Es war ein ausgezeichnetes Abendessen, sehr empfehlenswert.

Da wir an unserem Hochzeitstag köstliches Sushi genießen wollten, reservierten meine Frau und ich aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und der Website hier einen Tisch. Das war eine gute Entscheidung. Denn das Sushi war absolut hervorragend. Wirklich köstlich. Eine reichhaltige Geschmackskombination in allem, was man bestellte. Wir aßen: Chicken Gyoza: Köstlich im Geschmack und leicht knusprig. Genau so, wie es sein soll. Erstklassig. Der „Gurk Salat“: Als Niederländer dachten wir, es wäre ein Gurkensalat, den wir sehr gerne essen. Man sieht ihn selten auf der Speisekarte, deshalb bestellten wir ihn. Es stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass es keine Essiggurke, sondern eine Gurke war. Etwas schade, obwohl sie in einer leckeren Sauce mariniert war. Danach widmeten wir uns den Hauptgerichten. Dem Sushi! Der Nachteil war, dass es in Portionen von 8 Rollen serviert wird. Das ist etwas viel pro Sorte für 2 Personen. Deshalb bestellten wir nur 2 Sorten Sushi. Tiger Rolls: Perfekt gerollte Sushi-Rollen mit frittierten Garnelen, Gurke und Avocado, garniert mit flambiertem Lachs, Chili-Mayonnaise und Teriyaki-Sauce. Geschmacklich einfach köstlich! Und die Kombination erst! Wieder einmal super. Mir persönlich gefiel der leicht süßliche Geschmack dieses Sushis sehr gut. Vermutlich lag es an der Teriyaki-Sauce. Tina Macadamia Roll: Wieder einmal perfekt geschnittenes und gerolltes Sushi. Belegt mit Thunfisch-Tatar, Avocado, Frühlingszwiebeln, Yuzu-Mayonnaise und Macadamia-Crunch. Ein sehr originelles Sushi. Und auch super. Das Thunfisch-Tatar war sehr lecker und der Macadamia-Crunch ebenfalls. Danach waren meine Frau und ich schon fast satt, also bestellten wir uns jeder noch etwas. Ich nahm ein Bao Bun mit „Golden Chicken“. Meine Frau aß eine knusprige Banane mit Nutella. Knusprig gebratene Banane mit Nutella: Frittierte Bananenstücke mit Nutella und gehackten Karamellpistazien. Meine Frau liebt gebackene Bananen, deshalb musste sie dieses Dessert unbedingt probieren. Die Portion reicht für zwei Personen. Sie war begeistert. Ich habe selbst zwei probiert und ja, sie waren lecker. Etwas mehr Nutella hätte den Geschmack aufgrund der Banane noch etwas ausgeglichen. Bao Bun „Goldenes Hähnchen“: Ein sehr leckeres Bao Bun mit knusprigen Hähnchenbruststücken, knackigem Salat, roten Zwiebeln, Erdnüssen und einer würzigen, hausgemachten Sauce. Das Hähnchen war riesig und knusprig; die hausgemachte Sauce ergab eine köstliche Geschmackskombination. Fazit: Das Essen hier ist köstlich! Aber gibt es denn keine Nachteile? Doch, die gibt es: Wir saßen etwas weiter hinten im Restaurant. Das war nicht besonders gemütlich. Leider auch ziemlich dunkel. Die Tische sind sehr klein, sodass es manchmal schwierig ist, alles unterzubringen. Pro Tisch gibt es zwei laminierte Speisekarten. Die Speisekarten sind besonders groß, sogar etwas breiter als der Tisch. Es ist schwierig, alle unterzubringen. Dasselbe gilt für die Jacke, die nicht an die abgerundeten Stuhllehnen passt. Es gibt jedoch eine kleine Garderobe im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants, in einem fast völlig dunklen Raum. Daher waren Einrichtung und Atmosphäre etwas enttäuschend. Glücklicherweise machte die Freundlichkeit des Personals dies wieder wett. Denn das ist beim Essen gehen immer ein wichtiger Punkt. Wir wollten zwischenzeitlich noch zwei Getränke bestellen, aber da waren alle Angestellten schon draußen, und es dauerte 20-25 Minuten, bis wieder jemand im Restaurant war. Zum Glück hatten wir Zeit. Empfehlenswert, wenn man gutes Sushi essen möchte. Wir persönlich hatten uns im Vorfeld ein etwas gehobeneres Restaurantambiente mit einer etwas stimmungsvolleren Einrichtung vorgestellt. Aber alles in allem hatten wir hier ein fantastisches Essen, und der Service war sehr freundlich!

Bisher der beste Sushi Laden wo ich war! Spontane Reservierung ca eine Stunde vorher und das an einem Samstag abend in Köln. Vielleicht auch Glück gehabt. Direkt den Tisch bekommen trotz fünf minuten verspätung. Wer hier bei dem tollen Sushi Sojasauce braucht, ist falsch! Top geschmack, super angerichtet. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und schnell! Vielleicht bei der nächsten „renovierung“ sich die toiletten mal vornehmen. Die passen nämlich wirklich nicht zum 10/10 bild des ladens! Aber ich gehe hier ja nicht hin für die Toilette ;) Wir kommen wieder!

Normalerweiserä riechen Sushi Restaurants nicht wirklich gut. Hier ist das definitiv nicht der Fall! Als wäre es mein Wohnzimmer. Es duftet nach einem schönen Tag und die Speisen sind 1A+++ 😍 Werden definitiv wieder kommen! Ps: der Besitzer hat unseren Kids Eis spendiert!! Wow! 🤩

Wir sind echt gerne bei Eatsu. Vor allem die Bao Buns kann ich nur empfehlen. Die hab ich so in der Art noch nirgendwo gesehen. Richtig lecker, besonders und mal was anderes. Kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten im Voraus einen Tisch reserviert, standen dann aber trotzdem vor dem Problem, dass für unsere Gruppe von 6 Personen kein Platz verfügbar war. Das ist absolut unzuverlässig und schlecht organisiert. Zusätzlich konnte das Sushi leider auch nicht überzeugen – die Qualität war eher durchschnittlich und nicht das, was man für den Preis erwartet. Insgesamt eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, vor allem wegen der mangelhaften Planung und Organisation. Ich werde hier nicht noch einmal reservieren.

Mit dem Essen war alles wunderbar sehr lecker und auch sehr gute Preise , nicht mal lange Warte Zeit , obwohl viel los war , Service war auch ausreichend , das einzige komische ist das man für das Wasser 7€ zahlt das aber Leitungswasser ist(???)

I had high expectations, but eatsu failed to meet any of them. The price-performance ratio is completely off. The service seemed listless and annoyed; we felt more like a nuisance than welcome. There were long waits despite the restaurant being empty, and to top it all off, there was a hair in our food. Canceling the order was the least they could do, but it didn't salvage the overall experience. There are definitely better options in Cologne for the same price.

Wir hatten verschiedene Sushi-Sorten bestellt, um eine Auswahl zu haben. Der Geschmack war gut, aber nicht überragend und bisschen langweilig und fad. Da hab ich schon weitaus besser gegessen. Der winzige Klecks Wasabi hats auch nicht rausgerissen. Service war 10/10! Großes Lob!

We've been here for 30 minutes and still have to wait a long time, even though other people arrive later and get their food served earlier, while we have to wait a very long time. The waitress was completely disrespectful.

I think it's okay, about a 3.5. At first, I didn't like the service at all; they just said, "Okay, sit there," and then slowly, "Hmm, maybe there." They made us feel like we were expected to be there, but we came voluntarily. Why were they acting like we were homeless people who had come to beg? Getting strange looks wasn't very nice either. But then the waitress came and asked if everything was alright. Not all the waitresses do that. The food was okay. The wait was long. The ramen wasn't amazing. Hardly any spices. My friends didn't like the chicken and didn't eat it, but I thought it was good. The place looks very nice. The drinks are "homemade" but taste like nothing. Overall, it's about a 3.5. We didn't try the sushi; maybe it's better. But I didn't think the ramen was amazing. The service was offending, though. The egg in the ramen was tasty, though. ;)

The food was delicious, but the drinks arrived very late. It was a bit overpriced, and the cocktail didn't taste good at all; it wasn't worth the money. It was just juice with syrup. However, I found the food to be good and fresh.

The food was perfect. My husband ordered Golden Chicken & Gyoza, and I ordered Cucumber, Avocado, and Tuna Maki. My husband's food arrived after 5 minutes, but I had to wait 10 minutes longer for my sushi, which I found disappointing. Otherwise, it was a great location and very welcoming.

Food was very tasty and fresh. Today's waitress (March 15th, 4 PM) was very arrogant and unfriendly. Despite having a reservation, we were seated at tables right by the door, even though we wanted to sit in the back. When I pointed this out, she said the tables were reserved for this evening. Five minutes later, she had seated all her friends there. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The food is truly first class. The staff is also very attentive. When it's full, it can get a bit noisy, but that's tolerable given the excellent food.

Our first visit here today, based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The smell of old frying oil hit us as soon as we entered, so we sat outside. You could definitely taste the old frying oil in the crispy rolls. €17 for three slices of sashimi salmon? Hmm, well... no comment. They have to pay the rent and everything somehow. The tataki beef, on the other hand, was very tender, but it lacked a bit of flavor and the portion was quite small. All in all, it was okay, but not worth another visit for us.

A delicious restaurant right on Ehrenstraße! The poke bowl, salmon maki, and bao bun were all very tasty. However, the bao bun arrived some time before the other food and was already lukewarm, then cold by the time the rest arrived. It would be preferable if the food arrived at the same time. Otherwise, a top-notch place!

It's doable... We had a reservation for three people, but had to stand in the doorway for almost 20 minutes even though our table was already free. Unfortunately, there was hardly any room to get to the table, let alone sit down comfortably. When the next table left, we asked if we could sit there, and that was no problem. We ate ramen, rolls, various sushi, and a few appetizers. The appetizers, consisting of chicken gioza, spicy edamame, and fried octopus, were tasty. The ramen and rolls were also decent and okay. The sushi was of good quality, but the maki rolls were very poorly made; they fell apart immediately when eating with chopsticks. Sometimes there was more, sometimes less fish. The various tuna nigiri were very tasty. The beef option was also quite good and something I hadn't tried before. The desserts were also okay (chocolate gioza and banana lotus). Unfortunately, it was difficult to order drinks. One of the two waitresses was very friendly, however, the restaurant was very crowded and the service was clearly understaffed. A very trendy and mixed-age crowd.

Food was good, but service was awful. I made a reservation, but on-site they said there was no space due to too many reservations, so the reservation was canceled. No matter how delicious it is, never again.

The sushi doesn't taste like it does in an all-you-can-eat restaurant at all; it's very fresh and high-quality – you can really tell that everything has just been prepared. The waitresses were also very friendly and helpful. For these reasons, I'm definitely giving it 5 stars.

Three stars only for the ambiance, but otherwise, it was the worst service I think I've ever experienced. I've never been treated so rudely by a waitress. It's a real shame; it completely ruins the vibe. I won't be recommending this place to anyone! The food was okay, not very freshly prepared unfortunately, but still acceptable. It's not worth it, though; we won't be coming back!

Reservations are definitely recommended, but with a bit of luck, you might be able to get a table without one. The drinks are fantastic, and the friendly staff and owner create a wonderful atmosphere. The stylish ambiance and great location make for a perfect visit.

Bookings are not honored and service is incompetent.

We made a reservation for New Year's Eve two weeks ago via OpenTable. Upon arrival, we were informed that booking through this portal is not possible. Since we had to confirm our reservation multiple times and received confirmation from the restaurant, we find this practice unacceptable. A trendy spot, but unfortunately, that's about it.

Very disorganized. Despite having a reservation, we waited half an hour at the door. The staff member simply ignored us, despite our several polite requests, before we finally left after half an hour and even received some snarky comments. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot rate the rest of the experience.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about the food. The sushi rolls are fantastic, as are the appetizers. The service, however, was absolutely terrible. Despite having a reservation, we still had to wait outside for 20 minutes. The appetizer arrived fairly quickly, but then we had to wait almost an hour for our main course, even though tables around us who arrived later had already received their food. When I asked where our food was, I was given a half-hearted snark that it was on its way, and after that, no one treated us normally. The food itself is absolutely top-notch, but the service is truly terrible.

This place is a real hidden gem. The sushi is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious; you can tell they use high-quality ingredients and pay attention to detail. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive, making you feel instantly welcome. On top of that, the prices are really fair, and the portion sizes and quality are spot on. I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for great sushi without the exorbitant prices. 💕

Service puts guests under time pressure Our visit to this restaurant ended extremely unpleasantly. Even as we were eating, it was very clear that the staff wanted to finish their shift – regardless of whether the guests had finished eating or not. Tables were being demonstratively cleared around us, the atmosphere became increasingly tense, and in the end, we felt practically forced out of the restaurant. There was no sign of hospitality or professional service. Instead, we felt more like an intruder than a welcome guest. If a restaurant wants to close at a certain time, this should be clearly communicated and not played out at the expense of the guests. Such behavior is disrespectful and leaves a very negative impression.

I am very disappointed with Eatsu. The pictures in the app bear little resemblance to reality – the delivered food differs significantly in both appearance and quality. The gap between expectation and reality is enormous. What's particularly frustrating is that no one has responded to my politely worded email pointing out this issue. No feedback, no apology, no interest in resolving the matter. I find this outrageous. This is no way to treat customers. This was definitely my last order.

Fantastic, fresh sushi in many varieties. We were thrilled and will be back soon. Even our 12-year-old daughter was able to try everything. Good, friendly, and flexible service. Everything was top-notch.

They made the whole vibe relaxed and fun, genuinely some of the best service we’ve had in Germany. And for anyone with celiac or gluten sensitivity: Eatsu is a dream. They understood immediately, offered safe options, explained everything calmly, and made sure we felt 100% comfortable. HUGE respect for that level of patience and care. This place isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a culinary knockout punch with elite service. If you're in Cologne and you skip Eatsu, you’ve made a mistake. 11/10. Legendary. 🍜🔥🍣💥

Absolutely delicious, the bao bun is highly recommended and the ramen is also very tasty!

Unfortunately, the otherwise delicious food is ruined by avoidable rudeness. They're filling bottles with tap water and charging €7.90 for it. We noticed this because the still water was served in a bottle meant for sparkling water. The waitress reacted very rudely to our complaint.

Best sushi in Cologne, I always enjoy ordering and eating here! Unfortunately, I'm losing a star because a young lady handled my complaint yesterday in a rude, emotional, and unprofessional manner... (the sauces were missing from my order). At the end, she even said to the colleague, "Here, you take care of this, I can't handle this at all," and of course, we overheard it on the phone. Embarrassing!

A truly delicious poke bowl. I wouldn't have ordered it at the regular price of €20, but there was a special offer at Wolt, so it was okay. I wonder if it's appropriate to count the tofu bowl as a poke bowl... Avocado, edamame, and silken tofu 👍🥗

I had a reservation at 7:30 but arrived at 7:50 due to heavy traffic and the trade fair crowd. Even though there were several empty tables, they refused to seat us. I checked OpenTable, and there was still availability — I even made a new reservation right there — but just out of pure spite, the blonde hostess didn’t give us a table. Inside, at least four or five tables were free, yet she was clearly being difficult on purpose. The blonde girl at the door has absolutely no manners and no idea how to speak to customers. Such rude, unprofessional staff ruin the entire image of the restaurant. Never going back again — and I’ll make sure everyone knows how they treat their guests.

I had the chicken bao bun. Spicy edamame and karageen chicken. Everything was okay. But somehow the ingredients lacked harmony in the dishes. The chicken in the bao bun was tasty and crispy. The bun seemed somewhat industrial, the karageen chicken was good, but the dip was very bland. I like the crunchy edamame, but they were a bit drowned in the spicy sauce. I'm still giving it 4* because I compare the dishes to dishes I've eaten in Asia. So, it's good, but there's still some room for improvement. 😉 The dark-haired waitress was great. Unfortunately, the brunette blonde forgot half of the food when you ordered something from her. 🙂

This was our first time eating at eatsu, and I have to say we were thrilled with the bowl and the bao! Very fresh and delicious. The salmon bowl is especially recommended. The sushi, however, wasn't great value for money. Still, 5*****
