Wow. Super tasty dishes. Really top performance in terms of taste. I can only recommend it! The prices have just shot up a bit. We paid almost €60 for 2 ramen and a sushi (plus 2 drinks)..

The sushi was great and definitely fresh. I went for the fat belly tuna and it had a really rich and unique flavor in comparison to regular tuna. The servers could've been a little more friendly though. They weren't rude, but also not friendly. The restaurant has a cozy vibe to dine in.

A real highlight in Cologne – clear recommendation! We were at eatsu and absolutely loved it! The food was not only incredibly tasty, but also fresh and high quality. We were particularly impressed by the Golden Chicken and the Dragon Roll – an absolute must! The Dynamite Shrimp was crunchy and aromatic, and the Surf and Turf Sushi with gold leaf was extravagant and elegant, perfectly rounded off by the delicate truffle taste. What made the experience even more special was the excellent service. The owner was personally on site, extremely attentive and created a warm atmosphere. The entire team was friendly and always looked after our well-being - that's what you want! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and modern. Due to its size, you sit quite close to the other guests, but this gives the whole thing a lively and charming touch. We can highly recommend eatsu and will definitely come back. A real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience fresh, creative and high-quality cuisine in Cologne!

I went to eatu Cologne today because of the good rating on Google. When I arrived I was disappointed after the first step into the shop because there were only German people there who prepared everything. I had little hope then, but because I had traveled so far and was already hangry, I gave it a chance. When I ordered, I noticed the prices were quite high, which is why I had slightly higher expectations for the food. I paid €16 for a measly 8 pieces of salmon crunch roll that weren't even crunchy? Then we ordered salmon and butterfish maki. The rice in the maki was totally old and hard and the fish in all the sushi pieces, including the crunchy roll, was the worst quality I've ever eaten. That's what the customer behind us said when the waitress asked how the food tasted. He answered with a clear no, to which I can only agree. Sorry, but we expected more. The cinnamon rolls from the bakery across the street saved our day after all.

This was my second visit there, the first visit was pretty good, but this time we had to wait really long to get our food.

Very nice restaurant, fresh and delicious sushi and you can choose from several options, the noodles was also nice but a little bit chewy needs to boil it more, the chicken bun was the best thing we ordered very unique and new flavours mixed together, I recommend it but I would advise you to reserve a table before you come cause it’s always busy.

The food tastes amazing. I still dream about this ramen. The sushi was also great! Everything went so smoothly, I reserved a table online, but then arrived a little early, which wasn't a problem. The food came quickly. However, the atmosphere wasn't that nice, as you were sitting very close together with others and could hear the neighbors' conversations almost more clearly than your own. I found the furnishings and decoration to be rather bland and boring. The service seemed a bit arrogant and unfriendly, which unfortunately contributed to the fact that it wasn't an exceptional visit to the restaurant, although the food definitely reflected this.

Sushi was fresh and large portions. Unfortunately that was it. We can't really talk about finest here. Unfortunately it was just standard sushi and nothing special that the store would like to suggest. The prices and reviews were high and expectations were therefore high. Unfortunately, these expectations were disappointed. 3 stars because the fish was fresh and the service was nice. But just fresh fish is not enough for good, higher-priced sushi. This also includes the art of sushi and we were missing that here.

I had an order that came with a (bowl) for me and my sushi was messed up and all of my sushi was inedible (normally needs to be packed in a box not a bowl!!!) When I called and asked why, the girl told me that you could write a protest and made fun of me. I'm totally dissatisfied My sushi was brought to me this way. This is the second time I have had my food delivered this way. Last time it was spilled in the bowl, this time it was damaged.

I've now eaten sushi all over the world, and now that I'm in Cologne I researched extensively which sushi restaurant I would like to go to. Unfortunately I can't understand the positive reviews. For me it was a big and expensive disappointment. At 2 p.m. the toro was no longer available (the real reason for choosing this restaurant). Unfortunately, the menu on the website is no longer up to date, which meant I was deprived of more dishes. Now about the food, the rice of the nigiri was hard and generally too big. The quality of the fish wasn't particularly good either, which I would have expected given the high price. Then we come to the service. There were two other tables occupied with me, so there was hardly anything going on, but I still had to wait 30 minutes for my sushi. The long waiting time is not entirely understandable to me. Furthermore, the tables are very close together so you can hardly walk through them. So if you really want to eat good sushi, you should look for another location. If you want average sushi for a lot of money, this is the place for you

This was the worst ramen soup I have ever eaten. For me it wasn't a ramen soup, but simply a soup with some noodles and meat. Toilets also need to be cleaned more regularly. Very disappointing. The only thing that tasted good were the chicken buns and makis.

The three of us ate there on December 26th, 23 at 7 p.m. The ambience was great! Likewise the service. The food was absolutely bomb!!!! Simply phenomenal!!!! We were so excited! I would have loved to move straight away, directly above the restaurant and eat there every day from then on! I am a very big ramen fan and often cook ramen myself and of course I try ramen in every Asian restaurant if it is offered there. This ramen was different than most I have eaten. The broth was very pleasant but strongly spicy. There were also crispy chicken pieces in the soup, which was surprising but very cool! The sushi was just amazing! The drinks were very fruity and refreshing. The gyoza were just right. The dough was fresh and soft and fried crispy on one side. The filling tasted spicy and the homemade soy sauce rounded off the taste perfectly. Then I ordered the “Golden Chicken” dish. I've never had anything like that. Simply 12 out of 10! The white bun that wrapped the crispy chicken and the rest of the contents was as pleasantly soft as a memory foam pillow! Then we ordered two desserts - see pictures. And that too was so delicious!!! This restaurant is highly recommended and I will definitely stop by again next time I am in Cologne! I'm really looking forward to the ramen and the golden chicken!!! While this place had a cute atmosphere and good service, the food was mediocre at best and the drinks tasted way too sweet with little alcohol. The pot stickers weren’t crispy and were too salty, the fish in the sushi was very poor quality, and the flavors of the rolls was not good. Overall the food was not even as good the all-you-can-eat place back home, yet 3x the price. Very disappointed, seeing as the other reviews of this place are deceivingly good.

Went to Eatsu whilst on holiday in Köln, we first were seated inside because the terrace was full. When there was a spot available outside we were able to sit there and switch tables. The selection of food was just enough to satisfy everyones needs, some dishes are a bit pricey buy the tastes justifies the price. When we were leaving we needed to pay 63 euros for two persons and we wanted to leave a tip of around 7 euros. But the waitress didn’t hear me saying that and only charged us the food. So instead of the tip i wanted to leave a fear and honest review.

You can easily go there. We had a sushi roll and a bowl. Both were very tasty, the only thing I personally find annoying are these ready-made sauces that are poured over everything in large quantities. This is not just the case here, but now in many stores. I hope this fad ends soon. This place is good in terms of food, but the ambience and service still need some improvement.

After a failed first visit, I tried again and what can I say? That was really good. Very tasty food (Dynamite Shrimp, Beef Tataki, Toro Nigiri, Tiger Roll and Truffle Temptation Roll), which is attractively presented. The service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is modern and harmonious. The individual dishes are certainly not cheap, but the value for money is still good. If I had to criticize something, it would be the somewhat unimportant espresso martini at the end, there could certainly be more in terms of taste! Overall, absolutely recommendable, gladly again!

I discovered Eatsu Cologne after visiting a trade fair. We had to wait outside for about 10 minutes to get a seat for three people - but that's totally normal on a Friday evening in the summer. The restaurant is rather small, but has a few outdoor seats and is super stylishly decorated with a unique vibe. As a passionate sushi fan and blogger who tests sushi worldwide, I can say this: I ordered two special rolls - the Spicy Salmon Roll and the Tuna Macadamia Roll. The idea of ​​combining macadamia with tuna was new to me and totally blew me away. The Spicy Salmon Roll was also good, but I have had spicier and more intensely flavored versions in Düsseldorf. Therefore the Tuna Macadamia Roll was definitely my highlight. The sushi was super fresh and delicious. The rice was prepared differently than I'm used to, which was a cool new experience. The cocktails were nothing special, but absolutely okay for a sushi restaurant. The overall atmosphere is very fancy and modern. I will definitely visit Eatsu Cologne again when I'm in town and can only recommend it to you.

The ambience was very nice upstairs in the dining area, but as soon as you go down to the toilet, the climate feels slightly tropical. The toilet is also very small.

Even though we wanted to place the order for the product at that moment. So it doesn't seem to be freshly made. I think the store is currently overrated with 4.6 stars. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The store is really nice but spending over 1 hour for 2 sushi rolls is a bit cheeky, plus the high price. We ordered 2 drinks and after 15 minutes the waitress came with a drink and said that the cocktail (Japan fizz) was not available at the moment. Then another 20 minutes passed until the other drink finally came. Everything seems a bit disorganized, the sushi tastes good but I have nothing to complain about.

We celebrated my husband's birthday. The restaurant was a bit disappointing. Overall I would give it 3-3.5 stars. The sushi was good, but the selection was a bit sparse. Half of the rolls were only offered in vegan or vegetarian versions. My roll with salmon and apple was great, my husband's (Tuna spicy) tasted like an old refrigerator. The appetizers and ice cream were good. The ambience was rather mediocre. Downstairs there are toilets and the kitchen. The air there is very humid and hot… it feels like 5-8 degrees higher than above. This makes me wonder how warm it is in the kitchen itself. The staff is very friendly, but the staff serve in private clothing, which creates a very inhomogeneous picture. The fact that a young woman was serving in a very wide and very long cardigan also meant that she occasionally ran it over the guests' shoulders and tables... seemed awkward. The guests tend to be very young. Everyone immediately picks up their cell phone as soon as a dish is brought. We paid €125 with tip for two people (seaweed salad x2, miso soup x2, three small chicken skewers, two rolls, edamame, two ice cream, two Aperol, two beers). Overall it's a mediocre restaurant. I would come in quickly for 10 minutes at lunchtime, but certainly wouldn't spend another evening there.

AS drinks we had 2 x Flamingo and a Coconut Kiss. Every single dish and drink was very tasty and beautifully presented. The atmosphere in the bistro was pleasant and inviting.
