I ordered a doner kebab and a Coke. According to the price list, the doner kebab costs €8.20 and the Coke costs €3. However, at the counter, the clerk suddenly wanted to charge €3.50 for the Coke. I immediately canceled my entire order and left the store. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable and unethical. Simply forcing a customer to pay a higher price without prior notice is deception. I will definitely never buy anything here again.

The best kebab I've ever eaten. The hand-stitched yaprak skewer is heated by burning wood—not the usual electric rods, which has a positive effect on the flavor. The homemade bread is baked in the oven, and the vegetables were crispy. An incredible taste experience. The guys were super friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It's a shame I'm not from Nuremberg; otherwise, I'd eat here two or three times a week.

I bought 260g of pure doner meat to take away and paid €20 for it – that's really cheeky when an XXL doner with 220g costs only €10.90 according to the menu. The €20 won't break me, but this kind of rip-off is just annoying. Prices like that drive away customers – a real shame, it used to be better here.

I went to eat döner and I gave exactly 23.70 euros to get the exact change. When the cashier took the change, he said "what the hell is this?" Then he realized that he would give me 15 euros change. There was not even an apology. The employees were very rude. The döner tasted good but I would not go to such a place and I do not recommend going there.

The meat was very good, but overall, it was a bit short. The portion was actually quite adequate, but a bit pricey. Still, it's still affordable. The place was never empty, but it's more of a takeout place. If you're nearby, you can do it.

Many claim to be the best, but Halis is by far the best in Nuremberg. Original yaprak skewers on the grill, the best meat without fillers or other tricks, simply the best kebab flavor. Hopefully, Halis Nuremberg will stay with us forever.

One bite and I was in love! I've been pining for the taste of a good kebab for so long, like I remembered from my childhood, and here I finally felt like I was eating a truly amazing kebab again! We were here about a month ago, and I didn't find the doner meat as special as the hype claims. We found the portions to be lean and small. Unfortunately, the meat wasn't as seasoned as I like. The trifle sauce was unfortunately very thin; it should have been thicker and higher. Google asked for an honest review, and this is my opinion. I was at the restaurant before your company closed! Tastes differ! It's very sad to assume I haven't been to your restaurant. Since I paid with a card, I have proof!

We ate Iskender but it was so salty. I couldnt finish it cause I was burning of thirst. The portion was super good though. But for 15+€ it is what I would expect. I may not be trying this place again. Sorry. Maybe other stuff than Iskender is good and less salty.

Unfortunately, the employee used his fingers to open the inside of the bread. This is unhygienic. A knife or other utensil should be used. Food hygiene should be one of the most important factors. Also, the tzatziki was sold out. What a shame.

This is by far the best kebab in Nuremberg! Homemade meat, homemade bread, and homemade ayran 👍🏽—and fair prices, too.

I was in Nuremberg for business and came here for dinner. The kebab itself was quite good, and the meat was tasty. Unfortunately, all the ingredients just "distort" the flavor of the meat. I would make it as authentic as possible, like in Turkey, for example. But hey, it's a matter of taste. 160g was a bit small; I would also let people choose, for example, 100g, 200g, etc. The service at the counter was friendly (self-service). The homemade ayran was also drinkable. I would still come back anytime. The shop also seemed tidy and clean.

It was the best kebab of my life. The meat is nicely grilled with charcoal/wood and has a lovely flavor. The kebab is really filling, the bread is perfect and there's no cheap minced meat like in other kebab shops!

The meat and bread are great, as is the ambiance. The sauces, however, could be improved. The hot sauce is good, but the others aren't so good, at least in my opinion. The cocktail sauce tastes like salad dressing.

So we ate there. My conclusion: Way too much bread. The meat is really good, but why can't they just slice it and put it into the kebab? It's placed in a cold bowl, weighed, and then left there until it cools. The guys don't make any effort to fill the kebab properly. Meat on the bottom, salad on top. You have to eat the kebab from the side and can't fit all the ingredients in your mouth at once... It's a real shame... On top of that, the total stress of ordering, like an assembly line.

The doner is very delicious. I can say it is real doner. It has nothing to do with other fake doner. It is a small restaurant. 7-8 tables. There is also baklava and rice pudding but I can't comment on it because I haven't tried it. The doner is delicious.

A little more expensive, but worth it! No ground meat, just a layered skewer. Everything's homemade! If you value quality and taste, definitely try it!

For me, this is currently the best kebab in Nuremberg. It's exactly my taste. The slightly sweet white bread and the huge amount of meat, as well as the fresh salads and sauces, are a perfect match for me. It was quiet and relaxed. It took about 10 minutes, and it was our turn. Dürüm were freshly prepared and the bread was toasted. I was excited, as I'd often seen only positive things on TikTok. It was tasty, but I couldn't detect the extreme hype. It's sad that you have to wait and the meat is still cold. As I said, it's tasty, but not worth the hype. The employees were very friendly and quick.

I've just discovered it and am really happy that there's a real Yaprak in Nuremberg. The bread is perfect! The meat on the fire is too. However, more salt in the meat would be a huge improvement!

If you want to eat real meat doner, this is a great place. The prices are also very good.

The quality of the food is very good. They place a lot of emphasis on fresh, clean food. When I order a dürüm, and they roll out the dürüm wrap (yufka) fresh and bake it fresh in the oven, then slice the 100% beef yaprak doner kebab on top, which is grilled on lava stone, you can say it's one of the best. I highly recommend ordering extra meat, as the regular doner kebab or doner box won't be enough for meat lovers. They also have homemade desserts like trilece or rice pudding, which are also delicious.

I ordered the XXL Yaprak doner kebab in bread. It was listed online as 220g, but the price tag on the burger said it was 200g, but I got it for a hefty €10.90. We had kebab box, these were served in a nice black bowl. The taste was very good, meat was juicy but a little too little. The sauces were ok.

Yaprak XXL kebab, now only 200gr instead of 220gr, that's a 10% price increase! If, like me, you prefer to eat only meat, without salad or sauce, that's why the MA doesn't put more meat on it, which is a shame. The taste is quite ok, not a repeat factor for me, more for hipsters

-Yaprak meat is an absolute 10 out of 10. -The bread was somehow so soft, as if it felt a bit raw inside. Too soft, everything will burst open. But it also tasted like it was homemade. Also better than ok. -But the kebab itself still has room for improvement. There's nothing mixed in the bread, it's more like a layered model. Just meat at the bottom and then the salad comes layer by layer. You just don't have a good mix of salad and meat when you tear it off. There are definitely better creations. -Employees absolutely not communicative. I haven't tried the kebab plate with rice yet, but with the meat it could probably be a 10 out of 10.

I have never eaten such a delicious kebab in Germany. Something so delicious, just crazy. I've been all over Germany to Berlin etc... something delicious. The best doner kebab you can eat in Nuremberg. It gives doner leaves, not minced meat. You can come without any hesitation.

Went here around 9:15 p.m., 45 minutes before closing time on a Thursday, and got everything from the menu without any problem. Special recommendation for the kebab and the iskender. You can undoubtedly notice the strong quality of the meat, the freshness of the vegetables and the craftsmanship of the bread, even just before the end of the day. Of course the desserts were also very good, my favorite being the Trilece. All employees are very attentive and friendly and work quickly. The furnishings are simple and modern, fit perfectly. All in all, a big recommendation from me, I would love to come back!

Nothing to complain about. Food was brutal, I ate xxl yaprak kebab and baklava, fair price. The kebab is given on a tray when eating in the shop. Service also excellent. Doner man explained the hot sauces with differences. Ambience to sit in is also good and clean.

It's been a long time since I've had such a good kebab in Nuremberg. The meat is really strong! The bread is very soft and clean. For €8.20 the normal version is a very fair price!

Unfortunately for me personally this is absolutely not a kebab. The taste is not inedible, but all the components and the meat did not harmonize with each other. The meat was cut too thick for "yaprak" kebab, which meant that the kebab was very tough. Also way too cold. Ajvar couldn't save it either. I would recommend a vegetarian sandwich because the vegetables/lettuce were super crunchy and the sauce was also quite good. But all in all with cold too wide cut meat, ajvar and other sauces and ingredients not very good. The preparation also took a really long time. We waited in line for about 20-25 minutes, even though we ate there. No service at tables outside or inside. Unfortunately there is no “self-service” sign, which would be absolutely OK. But if you don't know, you just wait a little longer. At least that's how it was for us. My companion found the "doner kebab" a little better than me and he liked the mixture of Balkans with kebab. The place was clean and tidy. It seemed hygienic.

As soon as you walk in, the honest smell of kebab hits your nose - you know straight away: there's no gambling going on here. Meat? Juicy, well seasoned, nice and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside - no rotten meat cinema, but real craftsmanship. Whether veal or chicken, every bite here makes sense. Bread? Freshly baked, fluffy and stable - not crumbly bread that gives up when the sauce is added. Sauces? Garlic kicks, herbs refresh, spiciness not only takes your socks off, it also takes your worries away. Vegetables? Fresh like from Baba’s garden – crisp, colorful and perfectly balanced. Price-performance? Stable. For what you get, you can actually leave an extra fiver - but Yaprak remains correct. Service? Brother, the boys and girls there? Friendly, fast, with heart. Not a bad mood mode, but a real smile. Conclusion: Yaprak is not a kebab shop, it is an experience. Anyone who eats here knows: This is love in flatbread. 9.5/10 - only deducted because I'm not allowed to eat 3 pieces every day.

The best lahmacun in Nuremberg and the surrounding area... Doner was also delicious. There was no kunefe, but it's still coming. There was no trilece either. Eat inside and you unfortunately smell like grilled meat. That's the only thing to complain about.

I was hoping for more from the kebab, especially after hearing that it is made with Yaprak meat and grilled over a wood fire. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the bread: it was neither toasted nor particularly tasty, and overall it was too thick for me - just too much bread. The meat didn't convince me either. I felt it was kind of lacking in spice and would have liked it to be a little crispier. Unfortunately the overall taste wasn't good. However, perhaps my kebab was an exception, so I'll definitely stop by and try it again. I may then adjust my rating. Overall, I just expected more

There were five of us and we all received a good, well-fried kebab. The bread is not a standard bread but a long one, which you might be familiar with from sandwiches from Turkey. 180 grams of meat is available for €8.20. Top! As a grown man you definitely get full. But don't overeat. So a perfect portion. The employees are very nice, helpful and accommodating. The ambience is very good and you don't smell like kebab because the kitchen is separate. Every now and then you can smell the burning wood, but it creates a nice ambience. Overall, I think the restaurant is very good and the price-performance ratio is okay. Yes, it's not the cheapest kebab, but layered meat, service and charcoal are more expensive. Definitely coming back. PS: a little salt in the meat would taste even better
