The food is incredibly delicious. The service is pleasant, attentive, and the pick-up option is also wonderful. You should allow yourself some time, because as soon as you arrive at the restaurant, all the dishes are freshly prepared and are practically still hot when eaten.
I love ordering from there...
A visit well worth it! Kantinella is located right next to the Charlottenburg District Court on Kantstrasse. Lovely atmosphere. Small menu with Sicilian flair. Weekly specials change. We didn't eat there this time – hence this review without having tried the food. However, what we saw at neighboring tables was convincing... a weekly specials menu... or even dishes/appetizers fresh from the display case.
Last night we had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant in Ammelsend in Mönchengladbach-Reit for the first time – and it was an extraordinary experience from the very first moment. Upon entering, you immediately sense the special intimacy and welcoming atmosphere that pervades this establishment. You feel instantly at ease and perfectly at ease.
The culinary experience was outstanding: exquisitely composed dishes, given a modern interpretation, full of sophistication and depth of flavor. Each course was a highlight in itself. The service was equally attentive, warm, and professional – a team that clearly loves and lives their craft.
Even though the restaurant is somewhat hidden – down the main street and then turn left – every single step is worthwhile. Anyone looking for an exceptional, tasteful, and high-quality experience will find it here.
A huge compliment to the entire team: despite the sometimes challenging local conditions, you manage to create a gastronomic masterpiece. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
An absolute culinary highlight.
Wonderful little restaurant, super friendly service.
The pizzas we've had so far have been delicious. Very thin crust, crispy, delicious toppings. The pizza tonno has left a positive impression.
Reservations are recommended.
The food was delicious. However, on the day of our visit, we had to wait a very long time for our food. Upon inquiring, we learned that one of the chefs was injured. We wish them a speedy recovery. Despite the stress, the service was very pleasant and friendly.
I found the ambiance somewhat rustic, but not bothersome.
What bothered me a bit more as the evening progressed was the constantly repeating music loop. This could certainly be easily fixed. 😏
Once and never again. I got a "pizza" here for the first time today. It had absolutely nothing to do with a pizza. A disgusting, terrible crust. Too thin and not even cooked through. Eating it was only possible with cutlery. Everything was thickly covered in cheese, perhaps to cover up the overall poor quality.
The only thing left: half the pizza thrown away and now I have a stomachache.
Hope the seafood was at least okay. 😱
1 star because we have to give it.
The restaurant is closed even though my reservation was confirmed...unfortunately, no cancellation was made, and we found ourselves standing in front of a closed door. The service was therefore poor. And annoying.
Unfortunately, the original shop was taken over and, in my opinion, definitely not improved... The recipes are probably the same, but unfortunately, you can neither pay by card nor do you get a receipt. (The owner isn't in the shop, so there's no invoice upon delivery, according to them).
It's a real shame that the most wonderful shop owners are no longer there, and both the quality and service have suffered as a result...
We spent two days at this wonderful hotel. Everything is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the room was lovely. We will definitely be back.
I ordered from Leverkusen via Wolt and I have to honestly say it's one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The price/performance ratio is also excellent. And the best part: it arrived piping hot, even though it was 15 km away.
