Ich bin zufällig auf diesen Ort gestoßen und er war wirklich wunderschön. Ich kann ihn auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war köstlich, vor allem der Eintopf, und die Unterhaltung war wunderbar.

Ich habe in Deutschland schon oft gefrühstückt, aber für ein so einfaches Frühstück für zwei Personen habe ich 45 Euro bezahlt, ohne jegliche Extras. Insgesamt sind die Preise übertrieben hoch; es gibt schönere und günstigere Alternativen, daher würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

Alles, was wir gegessen haben, war köstlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Umgebung war sauber.

Das Frühstück in diesem gemütlichen und freundlichen Familienbetrieb war ein wahrer Genuss. Die Auswahl war sehr umfangreich und die Zutaten waren stets frisch. Besonders die hausgemachten Gerichte waren köstlich. Der Inhaber, Herr Bayram, und seine Frau kümmern sich rührend um ihre Gäste, was die herzliche und freundliche Atmosphäre des Lokals noch verstärkt. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der sowohl frühstücken als auch essen gehen möchte. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.

Die wohl besten selbstgemachten Limonaden/Schorlen, die wir je getrunken haben (Granatapfelschorle und Zitronenlimonade)! Auch das Essen kann sich sehen lassen (Gulasch, Käse-Pide, Manti mit jeweils großer Salatbeilage). Man fühlt sich im Restaurant/Café sehr wohl, die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr schön und orientalisch angehaucht. Ein Minuspunkt war leider der ungenügende Service. Die Servicekraft war alleine und als es nachmittags dann sehr schnell sehr voll wurde, musste man lange aufs Bezahlen bzw. auf eine weitere Bestellung warten. In der Hoffnung, dass es nur an diesem Tag so war und es sonst runder läuft, eine klare Empfehlung für alle in und um Penzberg!

Nach einem Museumsbesuch hatten wir einen Tisch im türkischen Restaurant Maida reserviert. Zum Glück denn das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz ausgebucht. Das Lokal macht einen sehr sauberen, gepflegten Eindruck. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und die Speisekarten lagen auch schnell auf dem Tisch. Die Bestellung wurde getätigt und die Getränke kamen flott. Im Restaurant gibt's keine alkoholische Getränke dafür sehr gut schmeckende Schorlen. Das Essen hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt, die Portionen waren groß und die Speisen wurden auch für das Auge appetitlich präsentiert. Ein Tipp: unbedingt Platz für einen Nachtisch lassen. Den Baklava Käsekuchen mit Pistazien und Granatapfel-Kernen muß man essen! Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Auf Grund des Gästeansturms verzeihen wir gerne auch die lange Wartezeit aufs Essen. Aber dafür war es frisch gemacht und sooooo lecker. Gerne volle fünf Sterne!

Ich war 1x zum Brunchen und 1x zum Abendessen dort. Und es war beide Male einfach grandios!!! Auch der Kuchen war super lecker!

Sowohl das große authentische Frühstück als auch die Hauptspeisen (Pide, Hähnchenpfanne, Mantis, Paprika gefüllt mit Reis & Pinienkerne, neulich Zanderfrikadellen von der Tageskarte…) einfach alles schmeckt hervorragend! Sehr schönes Ambiente. Cooles Design. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Top! Von ganzem Herzen zu empfehlen 🫶🏼

Wir waren heute mit einer größeren Gruppe hier essen und so konnte ich dadurch von allen Gerichten etwas probieren. Das Essen war durchweg super lecker und alles frisch zubereitet. Besonders die Linsensuppe hat mich begeistert – eine der besten, die ich bisher gegessen habe! Auch die Hauptgerichte waren richtig gut und die Nachspeisen hausgemacht. Ich hatte das Tiramisu, sehr lecker 😋. Haben dazu leckeren Çaj oder Dinzler-Café. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und wirklich bemüht, trotz unserer größeren Gruppe. Insgesamt ein toller Besuch – vielen Dank ❤

This was our first time at Maida, and we'd like to share our positive experience. The lovely ambiance is immediately noticeable upon entering: a very well-maintained restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. Although we arrived at lunchtime without a reservation, we were easily seated. The food was consistently delicious. We ordered the spinach pide and the Maida Special pide, each served with a fresh, flavorful salad. We also enjoyed a pomegranate spritzer and a ginger-mint-lemon tea. One minor criticism concerns the tea: the flavor could have been a bit more intense – the ginger and mint, in particular, could have been more pronounced. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant that we would gladly visit again!

A particularly inviting and cozy spot for brunch, lunch, afternoon coffee, and early dinner. There's something for everyone on the menu, whether vegan or not. You always feel welcome.

We visited on a weekend afternoon and got a table right away. The cake selection was really good. I had the baklava cheesecake, which tasted absolutely delicious. I was also impressed by the value for money. I'd be happy to come back.

Located right next to the mosque, this lovely restaurant is a great place to linger. Wonderfully authentic dishes and incredibly attentive service. Unfortunately, I live too far away, otherwise I'd become a regular there.

I've been to Maida Restaurant & Café in Penzberg for breakfast several times and can highly recommend it. The selection of authentic Turkish breakfast dishes is excellent and a delight every time. The ambiance is simple but very pleasant, making you feel immediately at home. I would particularly like to highlight the service: always polite, friendly, and attentive – you feel completely welcome. The tea is also very good and perfectly complements the breakfast experience. One small drawback is the soundproofing: especially on weekends, when it's busy, it can get a bit noisy. However, that's really the only point I could criticize, and it in no way detracts from my positive overall impression. I enjoy coming here again and again and am very satisfied.

I was just there for a quick çay. I was about to pay with a tenner, but then I remembered I still had change – but it wasn't quite enough. The employee kindly said, "It's fine." This gesture alone was worth 5 stars. The çay was truly top-notch – hot, strong, just as it should be. I'd love to come back. That's hospitality!

We were there for breakfast today and tried the breakfast for two. It's very filling, and there's enough for everyone. The service was generally very friendly. The ambiance is nice. It's ideal for a night out. However, it's best to reserve a table as a precaution, as this location is very popular.

An insider tip for Turkish gourmet food. I've only had such delicious lentil soup in Istanbul. The main course and dessert are also top-notch in terms of quality and taste. Highly recommended. And for all those penny pinchers, ☝️, unbeatable value!😊

I've had breakfast at MAIDA several times or met there for coffee and cake. The family runs the café with so much love and friendliness, that's very commendable! The food is fresh and very tasty. I have already recommended the restaurant verbally several times, given away vouchers, etc. I hope that this café stays around for a very, very long time and wish the family all the best!

A beautiful tastefully decorated cafe with excellent food! The café is a great contribution to the diverse Penzberg where everyone can meet! We come here from Landshut specifically to eat the baklava cheesecake!

Despite the reservation being a long time ago, they thought of us and prepared the table perfectly. Food came quickly and couldn't taste better. The prices are unbeatable for the quality. Staff always friendly, accommodating and always within reach. Thank you for this great hospitality. Very happy again.

Absolutely disappointing - one star is still too many A visit to this restaurant turned out to be a real disappointment. As soon as we entered we were greeted by an annoyed waitress who was apparently overwhelmed before we could even order. Her condescending manner made the visit unpleasant from the start. When my friend found a hair in her mouth that came from the olives, she gave the olives back to the waitress. Suddenly the manager came over. Instead of apologizing, he accused my friend of not showing the hair right away. In the middle of my friend's sentence, he simply left the table and as he walked away said that she didn't have to pay for breakfast. Not a word of apology, just arrogant behavior. My friend still ended up having to pay for her breakfast, which was just the icing on the cake to this horrific experience. As we left the restaurant there wasn't even a goodbye or a gesture of politeness. This staff managed to completely ruin the mood. We traveled about 40 kilometers to get here and it was a complete waste of time. Never again.

We went there two weeks apart, three of us, and although we ate the same things each time, we paid 52 euros for a mixed breakfast for three people, and 78 euros the other week. We were surprised at how they were calculating it.

Unfortunately a total failure! My friends and I went there for breakfast for the first and last time. From the totally unfriendly and unmotivated waitress to the cold Turkish Çay (tea), breakfast was a complete disaster. The fact that I found a hair in my olives and my complaint from the owner with the sentence: “I should have shown him that hair!!!” just topped it all off. Such a reaction from a host probably shows that one has gone on a high note. But as we all know, pride comes before a fall. Of course, after the hair incident my appetite was affected, but I still paid for my breakfast. A sincere apology or a gesture, or even a farewell... none! We're not coming anymore!!!!

As someone who has eaten at many good places both in Turkey and Germany, I can say that you should definitely try this place. Here you will eat pitas with a thickness, content and taste that you cannot even eat in Turkey. Their cauliflowers compete with your mother's. Breakfast, salads, homemade drinks, homemade cakes and coffee. It is clean, high quality, halal and very delicious. In short, I can say that I was very pleased with what I ate. I even had the opportunity to enter the kitchen and see it. Hygienic, clean, food preparation standards comply with the norms. As a physician, I can definitely give assurance on this point. The products used are also largely regional and partly organic. Unlike the restaurants in Munich and its surroundings (I say this as someone who lived in Munich for a year and ate in many places), you get what you pay for. My advice is to definitely go for breakfast. After breakfast, tour the town or even take a walk in the highlands. After you get tired and have finished your breakfast, have lunch and then definitely try their cakes and coffee. You will not regret. By the way, right next to the restaurant, in my opinion, there is one of the most beautiful mosques in Europe. I advise you not to pass by without taking a look inside and praying in it for a while. Pray for me too :)

We often had breakfast and lunch here. We are excited. Very tasty and filling food. The homemade cakes are also very delicious. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. We would like to come again. Keep it up! 👍🏻

A culinary highlight in Penzberg!

My opinion is as follows: ordered cevapcici and tavuk. Cevapcici is actually eaten with bread and for some reason it is served with mushy rice. Tavuk was with chicken and vegetables, as well as mushy rice. Unfortunately there were only two pieces of chicken in the Tavuk and generally the salad tasted like the ready-made salad from Lidl. We wanted to order dolma but the waiter said there was none, 10 minutes later the people next to us got dolma. The increased prices (approx. 15€ Cevapcici) are definitely not worth it!
