Very good breakfast, great value for money, great service, highly recommended!!

A beautiful tastefully decorated cafe with excellent food! The café is a great contribution to the diverse Penzberg where everyone can meet! We come here from Landshut specifically to eat the baklava cheesecake!

Despite the reservation being a long time ago, they thought of us and prepared the table perfectly. Food came quickly and couldn't taste better. The prices are unbeatable for the quality. Staff always friendly, accommodating and always within reach. Thank you for this great hospitality. Very happy again.

My spouse and I recently discovered this exquisite and culturally rich establishment, and it has been a delightful experience. Having relocated from Turkey not long ago, we were pleasantly surprised to find a place that could authentically recreate the flavors and ambiance of my wife home country. We highly recommend Maida Restaurant & Café to anyone seeking a welcoming environment and delectable Turkish cuisine. A visit to this fine establishment is truly not to be missed.

We tested the big breakfast today. We enjoyed it very much. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. According to the map, regional suppliers are used. We'd love to come back.

We came across the restaurant on the way through. Despite the fact that we were there a few minutes before closing time, we were warmly welcomed and served immediately. The food was delicious, the waiting time was short and the staff was super nice! Absolute recommendation.

Absolutely disappointing - one star is still too many A visit to this restaurant turned out to be a real disappointment. As soon as we entered we were greeted by an annoyed waitress who was apparently overwhelmed before we could even order. Her condescending manner made the visit unpleasant from the start. When my friend found a hair in her mouth that came from the olives, she gave the olives back to the waitress. Suddenly the manager came over. Instead of apologizing, he accused my friend of not showing the hair right away. In the middle of my friend's sentence, he simply left the table and as he walked away said that she didn't have to pay for breakfast. Not a word of apology, just arrogant behavior. My friend still ended up having to pay for her breakfast, which was just the icing on the cake to this horrific experience. As we left the restaurant there wasn't even a goodbye or a gesture of politeness. This staff managed to completely ruin the mood. We traveled about 40 kilometers to get here and it was a complete waste of time. Never again.

An excellent Turkish restaurant serving halal food and drinks, attached to the His Highness Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Mosque. The restaurant is clean and upscale.

We have been there several times, both for a long breakfast and for a relaxing afternoon with coffee and cake or lunch. Pleasant atmosphere, great food, fair prices, friendly service.

We went there two weeks apart, three of us, and although we ate the same things each time, we paid 52 euros for a mixed breakfast for three people, and 78 euros the other week. We were surprised at how they were calculating it.

Unfortunately a total failure! My friends and I went there for breakfast for the first and last time. From the totally unfriendly and unmotivated waitress to the cold Turkish Çay (tea), breakfast was a complete disaster. The fact that I found a hair in my olives and my complaint from the owner with the sentence: “I should have shown him that hair!!!” just topped it all off. Such a reaction from a host probably shows that one has gone on a high note. But as we all know, pride comes before a fall. Of course, after the hair incident my appetite was affected, but I still paid for my breakfast. A sincere apology or a gesture, or even a farewell... none! We're not coming anymore!!!!

As someone who has eaten at many good places both in Turkey and Germany, I can say that you should definitely try this place. Here you will eat pitas with a thickness, content and taste that you cannot even eat in Turkey. Their cauliflowers compete with your mother's. Breakfast, salads, homemade drinks, homemade cakes and coffee. It is clean, high quality, halal and very delicious. In short, I can say that I was very pleased with what I ate. I even had the opportunity to enter the kitchen and see it. Hygienic, clean, food preparation standards comply with the norms. As a physician, I can definitely give assurance on this point. The products used are also largely regional and partly organic. Unlike the restaurants in Munich and its surroundings (I say this as someone who lived in Munich for a year and ate in many places), you get what you pay for. My advice is to definitely go for breakfast. After breakfast, tour the town or even take a walk in the highlands. After you get tired and have finished your breakfast, have lunch and then definitely try their cakes and coffee. You will not regret. By the way, right next to the restaurant, in my opinion, there is one of the most beautiful mosques in Europe. I advise you not to pass by without taking a look inside and praying in it for a while. Pray for me too :)

We often had breakfast and lunch here. We are excited. Very tasty and filling food. The homemade cakes are also very delicious. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. We would like to come again. Keep it up! 👍🏻

A culinary highlight in Penzberg!

My opinion is as follows: ordered cevapcici and tavuk. Cevapcici is actually eaten with bread and for some reason it is served with mushy rice. Tavuk was with chicken and vegetables, as well as mushy rice. Unfortunately there were only two pieces of chicken in the Tavuk and generally the salad tasted like the ready-made salad from Lidl. We wanted to order dolma but the waiter said there was none, 10 minutes later the people next to us got dolma. The increased prices (approx. 15€ Cevapcici) are definitely not worth it!

I've been to Maida many times since I live right around the corner and I can only recommend it!!!! Tasty food, super friendly service, simply wonderful!!!

Finally a place where everything is really perfect. Really delicious food, very nice service, furnishings designed with love. Orient meets Oberland. The only drawback: opening times could be a little longer. But it shouldn't be a criticism, more of a wish.

Beautiful cafe with great food and a special flair. The cakes looked delicious and there was also a gluten-free one. Unfortunately we couldn't try them because the large breakfast buffet for two left us more than full. It was definitely a different breakfast experience and can only be recommended. Luckily there was so much snow on this first weekend in December that we were able to spontaneously get a spot on Saturday morning without any problem. Otherwise, just to be on the safe side, I would make a reservation for the weekend.

We were there for dinner and we will definitely be back. I've never had such delicious rice before and the food was incredibly good. Great, clear menu, delicious drinks and a nice feel-good atmosphere. Thank you 🙏🏼

Super Frühstück! Wir hatten das Süße mit Rührei, dass in einem extra heißen Pfännchen kommt und haben eine Käseplatte extra bestellt. Netter Service! Sehr, sehr frisch und gute Qualität. Auch der Kuchen ist Top!

Immer einen Besuch wert,egal zu welcher Tageszeit, ob Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Kaffee/Kuchen......Alles hervorragend, hier fühlt man sich immer wohl.

Cappuccino und Kuchen gegessen. Beides in bester Qualität. Der Cappuccino bringt mich jedesmal wieder auf die Beine.

Wunderbares Essen und tolle Kuchen in einem türkischen Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente, super freundliches Personal. Wechselnde Gerichte auf der Tageskarte. War schon öfters hier und komme immer wieder gerne.

Ein wunderschönes Lokal. Genau das, was Penzberg gefehlt hat. Die Limo und auch die Granatapfelschorle waren erfrischend, die kleine aber feine Speisekarte ist eine Wucht. Ich hatte die vegetarischen Manti und jetzt ein neues Lieblingsgericht. Auch gibt es täglich ein Mittagsmenü Die Küchenvitrine war gut gefüllt, das Ambiente einladend. Es ist so schön zu beobachten, wie der Urbayern hier genüsslich seinen Çay trinkt. Wir kommen definitv wieder. Wir müssen schließlich auch Mal dem Brunch am Wochenende ausprobieren und die anderen Gerichte auf der Speisekarte... Und dann wartet auch noch die Kuchenvitrine. Ein wunderbar entspannter Ort mit ganz besonderer Atmosphäre, wo wirklich jeder Willkommen ist. Der Service ist absolut herzlich und menschlich. Einfach toll! Bleibt nur ein winziger Kritikpunkt: bitte legt euch eine vernünftige Website zu und verlinkt nicht auf den Zeitungsartikel. In unserer Zeit ist das ein Muss. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass ihr mit einer schönen Website (wo vielleicht sogar das Tagesgericht kommuniziert wird) noch mehr Stammkunden gewinnen könntet.

Traumhaft gutes, orientalisch angehauchtes Frühstück. Unterschiedliche sehr leckere Aufstriche, Käse, Wurst. Gemütliches, modernes Ambiente. Super freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Preise gehen absolut in Ordnung. Das Abendmenü ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Gerne wieder!!! Update 17.4.23: Wieder im Maida gewesen. Diesmal zum Iftar. 3 Gänge Menü, bestehend aus Suppe, Lammfleisch mit Reis und Nachspeise. Supergut, absolut lecker, genau die richtige Menge. Essen und Hunger waren so gut und groß, das keine Zeit für Fotos waren. Beim nächsten Mal!!!

War heute zum 1. Mal im Maida zum Frühstücken. Hat mich voll überzeugt. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich komme gerne wieder vorbei

Tja, wo fange ich an? Beim Ambiente: Modern orientalisch und sehr geschmackvoll mit türkischer unaufdringlicher Hintergrundmusik. Wir wurden vom Gastgeber willkommen geheissen und fühlten uns von Beginn an wohl. Die Toiletten sind modern und sehr sauber. Das Essen: Wir hatten gemeinsam den großen Brunch. Ein Traum aus türkischen und bayerischen Spezialitäten. Alles war mit sehr viel Liebe angerichtet - z. B. Blütenblätter auf dem einen, Kresse auf dem anderen Schafskäse, dazwischen Weintrauben, Blaubeeren, Cashews, getrocknete Aprikosen und Datteln. Dazu bekamen wir türkischen Tee soviel wir trinken mochten. Und wir wurden immer umsorgt und bedient. Man merkt dabei, dass dem Gastgeber das Wohl seiner Gäste am Herzen liegt. Von dem selbst gemachten Kuchen aus der Vitrine an der Theke haben wir noch ein wenig mitgenommen: Zebrakäsekuchen, Zitronentorte und Trilece (ein Karamellkuchen, der ursprünglich aus dem südamerikanischen Raum stammt). Wir kommen jederzeit gern wieder - selbst wenn es nur auf einen Tee oder einen Mokka und ein Stück Kuchen ist!

Ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus! Wir haben dort unglaublich lecker gegessen und fühlten uns im dem tollen Ambiente mehr als wohl. Danke auch für die sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, obwohl das Restaurant mehr als gut besucht war.

Wunderbares Café, sehr herzliche Bedienung, türkischer Tee wird immer nachgeschenkt und die Variation und Geschmack an Speisen war einfach toll. Mal etwas ganz Anderes - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Waren heute im Maida Restaurant Frühstücken. Das Ambiente hat uns regelrecht eingeladen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr herzlich. wir Haben das große Frühstück für 4 Personen bestellt. Tisch war reichlich mit Köstlichkeiten bedeckt. Für diese Qualität war das Preis Leistungsverhältnis Super. Ich bedanke mich herzlich nochmal beim Team Maida.

Wir haben es heute zufällig entdeckt und waren von Anfang an begeistert. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Wir haben nur türkischen Kaffee und was getrunken. Beides sehr gut, wir kommen bald wieder 👍
