Indisches Spezialitäten Restaurant Shiva in Penzberg

For me this is the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten. The food is fantastic, so seasoned to heaven. I've been there about 8 times and really enjoyed eating and loving it. The boss is a nice, funny person. The staff is also super nice and ambitious. The house is Bavarian and overshadows with fragrant smells and I recommend paneer masala because the spice is so unbeatably delicious. Tomato soup is fantastic and Bhindi is delicious. The last time I ate Tikka Chesse was on the recommendation of the boss. Super delicious. Nan would be better.

Very good restaurant, was there for the second time and had a very good experience again. As a team, we were all full after a day of volleyball games and were well looked after 👍

We love eating Indian food, but nowhere is it as good as here! The food is simply outstanding. The owner and all the staff are so friendly and attentive that we immediately feel at home. The restaurant is cozy and invitingly furnished, creating a real living room atmosphere. We come here to eat regularly and look forward to it every time. We can totally recommend the restaurant for every Indian lover and for everyone who wants to try something new. Every dish we have tried so far has been excellent, but we particularly liked the shiva duck.

It was my first time eating there and I was thrilled. The food was extremely tasty, the service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. There was a starter and a dessert on the house. The ambience is very appealing and nicely decorated. I will always enjoy going there again.

We decided to try this place after seeing its impressive ratings, and it did not disappoint. The food overall is very enjoyable - some dishes were outstanding, while others were good but not exceptional. While it may not be the absolute best Indian food we’ve had, it is authentic and flavorful. What really stands out, however, is the service. The staff are incredibly friendly, funny, and attentive, truly committed to ensuring a great customer experience. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are in the area.

We were visiting the area from Ireland and came across this restaurant and decided to try it. So glad we did! It was absolutely fabulous and the atmosphere was great. Lovely waiters, very light hearted and good fun. Food was fabulous and a big hit with both the adults and children.

Friendly and attentive staff. Tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. In summer you can also sit outside on the terrace. It's usually well attended and in the evenings it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance. Parking spaces are also available, but there is often a lot of parking on the street.

We went to Shiva for dinner today. And what can I say? We were thrilled from start to finish. Double-covered damask tablecloths, tasteful glasses, I had rosé wine, perfectly chilled, 0.2 ml for 5.50 euros, where can you find that these days. The service was wonderfully friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. For the main course we had mixed thalis for 2 people, a taste explosion, super fresh. The thalis were served in high-quality copper bowls so they stayed hot until the end. The price/performance ratio is great! I would like to expressly thank you again for the wonderful evening!
