Dazzled by the great reviews and plagued by hunger, I came here specifically and ordered two pizzas to go.
Since I lived nearby anyway, it was a good fit.
It looked good, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
But to be honest, I expected more in terms of taste.
It was and is only a mediocre pizza.
There are one or two frozen pizzas that taste even better.
It was bland; despite the tuna and onions, the strong flavor didn't come through.
No herbs, I had to ask the kitchen for them.
I'm very sorry, but the second Champions Pizza also had the same sad, bland taste.
Thank you for your effort.
The sushi is exceptionally delicious, and the service is also outstanding. Super friendly and attentive. The prices are also more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back!
Four of us went to amelsans for the first time based on a recommendation, and our expectations were exceeded in every way!
Incredibly wonderful, cozy restaurant in a corner where you'd least expect it. Booking was easy and hassle-free online. The menu is very manageable, but every dish sounds so great that it's hard to decide. The service is second to none: friendly, humorous, personable, and very informal. The ambiance is very nice; the restaurant is rather small, air-conditioned (a dream, especially in the current heat), and you can peek into the kitchen at any time to see how the food is lovingly prepared. All courses were excellent! The meat was perfectly cooked and of the highest quality. The desserts were also impressive across the board – the chocolate mousse is second to none.
Definitely not the last time we've been to amelsans; probably the best restaurant in all of MG!
A very unpretentious, cozy family restaurant, with fair prices considering its location right on Frankfurter Allee. The lunch menu is always worth it; large portions and extremely delicious. The focaccia is also highly recommended, and the dough is made with love and traditional knowledge, making it easy to digest. The small selection of sweet pastries is also great, and they're always adding new creations. A coffee here is much more worthwhile than at all the over-the-top, hyped spots around it, both in terms of taste and price. It's a shame I'm moving away soon and won't be walking past you every day. I really hope you stay open for a long time and that business continues to thrive; you very much deserve it! Love you <3
A real Italian pizza is an experience. Thin, crispy crust, fragrant wood-fired oven, sun-ripened tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella – simple yet perfect. No frills, just honest ingredients prepared with love. So pure, so good – you can only find it in Italy.
Super friendly staff, highly recommended
Unfortunately, I don't understand the good reviews :( My pizza was very disappointing, mediocre at best. I wondered if some of the reviews were fake, or if I was just having a bad day.
Edit: The pizza was burnt on the bottom, among other things.
