DJK Restaurant "Zum Petros" in Eppelheim

We've eaten at Petros several times, and I have to say we've never left dissatisfied. The price and quality are right, the pizzas are really good and reasonably priced (which I can't say about every pizzeria). I can truly recommend all the dishes on the menu with a clear conscience. And I'd like to emphasize one thing in particular: the host is friendly, authentic, and above all, honest, which I really appreciate. I know other hosts who are far from these qualities! Keep it up! We'll be happy to come back because we know the price and quality are right!

I ordered food about 30 minutes ago: pizza and gyros with Metaxa sauce and fries. They're still eating, but I had to write a review right away. I'm Italian, and I have to say, hats off to you, the pizza is delicious—some Italians can't quite pull it off. The gyros with Metaxa sauce are also great. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

The food at this restaurant was completely different from anywhere else. It's the most unique food and place for you. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant sometime.

Good food, bad service. I've been to this restaurant several times and there was no one there to greet me or show me a table. I placed my order after about 10 minutes, but the waitress didn't even know what a wine spritzer was. The owner was out delivering pizza again. After another 10 minutes, we left without anyone noticing. No wonder the place is always empty. It's a shame, really, because the previous owner was doing quite well, and now you can see things are gradually going downhill.

Great place with the best pizza I've ever had!

Actually, it's pretty good. I can't understand why I had to wait almost an hour for my food in a nearly empty (8 other guests) restaurant on a Sunday evening. The best part was the delicious side salad – unfortunately, it wasn't chilled enough. The appetizer, baked feta cheese, was cooked way too hot (hard skin), but otherwise very tasty. My veal liver was cooked to perfection, but way too hot and burned. One piece was almost charred on the outside. The French fries were completely over-salted, and the rest of the food was unfortunately quite over-salted – the portion was good. The gyro was super juicy, the other meat was also good – the kitchen has potential! Less salt, less heat, shorter wait times – more experience! The owner had miscalculated to his disadvantage, which we pointed out to him – an ozono as a thank you would have been appropriate! Too bad: I didn't think the whole thing was that great...

The restaurant is located right next to the soccer field. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive.

The outdoor area is very nice and the owner is very friendly. However, the pizza capricciosa didn't blow me away. The pizza dough wasn't elastic and airy, but rather firm (meaning it hadn't rested long enough or was frozen), and the ham had a strange consistency and hardly any flavor. There was also no spicy oil to serve with it, as is usually the case.

This is by far the best pizza in the Rhine-Neckar region. The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and fair. The Greek dishes are also always worth a try. Opening hours are not correct. I was there today on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and everything was locked

Today was my third time there. The pizza is, or rather, was, very good until today. Today, the salami on the pizza was sour and tasted like it was spoiled or had a sting in it. When I asked the owner about it, he tried a small piece and said it always tasted like that. However, in my opinion, the salami was no longer edible. We ordered something else but still had to pay for the salami pizza. On the two previous visits, the pizza and the skewer were great, but neither the Greek farmer's salad nor the side salads were convincing. The pizza was excellent every time, except for today's one. I just wish the owner had reacted differently. Especially since today was the third time we ate there in three weeks. But today will be the last time.

During the delivery, the supplier wanted to put advertising flyers in the house's mailboxes. (Please no advertising stickers are present) The food was quite good, a few portions were significantly smaller (and therefore significantly more expensive) than expected.

We ordered as a large group of friends and were a little surprised when the food arrived. Gyros with fries €17.50 for not even a handful of meat and a few fries. There was also a small side salad and a dollop of no idea what it was, definitely not tzatziki. All other portions are also rather small for the very high price. Not bad in taste Not really saturated
