Akropolis Grill in Hattingen

Unfortunately, not as expected. I don't know, but a portion that doesn't fill you up, no matter how delicious the food is, is still unsatisfying. I find the taste perfectly fine, but the portion size is very small for the price: €26 for three dishes (prawns, fries, and salad; bifteki, fries, and salad; and a small gyro pitta). I ordered today for the first and, unfortunately, the last time. Please adjust the portion sizes; otherwise, one feels somewhat ripped off.

The food, especially the Metaxa sauce, is top-notch. The owners are always friendly, and the cakes taste excellent.

Simply disappointed, it was always delicious but today the last one was garbage, everything except the cheesecake was in the trash, overpriced and the schnitzel was like mush, fries were cold, no mejo, gyros were almost raw, I'm really annoyed, always praised but no mouse or rat out there would eat it. Out of 1-10 today -1000, shame really... That's the truth, folks...

For us, the best: the friendliness, the love...the food, the value, and the taste. It would be nice to be able to sit outside, but we'll still come in. See you soon...again.

We have been eating here for several years and have always been well looked after.

Outstanding food. Even in a fine Greek restaurant, you can't get grilled food that's as perfectly cooked. Perfectly juicy, superbly seasoned, whether it's lamb, gyros, bifteki, kofte, steak, or souvlaki, it doesn't matter, everything is perfect! Plus, a selection of cakes that would do any café justice. And everyone is incredibly friendly. A gem!

We love going to Akropolis. 🥰 All the dishes are very satisfying and highly recommended! My daughter loves the currywurst and fries. The owners are always friendly and up for a nice chat. The staff is always helpful and quick. If you love cake, you absolutely must try the cheesecake for dessert 😋 The selection of cakes to go is always fresh and lovingly prepared by the owner. The delivery service works perfectly! There are occasional problems with the order through Lieferando. So just call Akropolis directly 🫶🏻🍴 The delivery service is prompt and as agreed.

If you want a really satisfying meal, then Akropolis Grill is the place to go. My recommendation is the bifteki. Best in town. Oh, and you can now sit outside too.

The place stinks. The food was a disaster. The gyros were almost raw. The rest of the meat was unidentifiable and overcooked. Rice had no flavor. French fries were soft. Food for pigs. I still have a stomachache. Never again.

Ordered food for 8pm, it came 20 minutes late and was cold!

We have always been satisfied and have ordered here often. It was actually always delicious. Unfortunately we have been disappointed twice now. The gyro was way too salty. We also said before ordering again that the food was extremely salty the previous time, but there was no apology, instead the food was inedible again. We're sorry, but we won't be ordering from Akropolis again.

I don't recommend you order food there. I ordered a salad with saganaki, but the salad tasted old. I'm no salad expert, but in my opinion cooked green beans don't belong in a salad like this. The saganaki were also soggy. Best regards.

Ate 2 very tasty 😋 gyros plates with rice or optionally fries on site. Very nice boss who was alone at the time but was very hardworking and quickly prepared our food. There was a kind word about that. Thank you very much

Nice, small and cozy restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and everything is beautifully decorated. The portions are a little smaller than you're used to at Greek restaurants, but it still tastes great and fills you up. The starter salad is also very successful with their sauce, even if it's just a starter! Thanks so much.

Since I've only tried cakes there so far, I can only report on that at the moment... So the restaurant and ambience are rather small but still look cozy. As far as I know, this is the only Akropolis Grill that, in addition to the hearty dishes, also sells cakes and small ice cream sundaes so that you can have dessert as needed or just treat yourself to coffee and cake 😊👍🏻 The cakes and pieces of cake that I tried there were all very tasty :) I can definitely recommend the cheesecake to anyone who likes to eat cheesecake...because it is nice and creamy and has a very good taste. So far, the best cheesecake I have personally ever eaten😊👌🏼 But the chocolate cake was also very tasty... Not too sweet and not too heavy with the cream, as you would expect from bakeries, for example. knows. But just right and pleasantly delicious 👍🏻 The strawberry or raspberry cake was also delicious... Not too thick, nice and creamy and also nice and fruity in taste, like you were eating soft ice cream 😎👍🏻 Also highly recommended, this delicious cake. So if you generally want to eat delicious cakes and tarts, you should definitely visit this restaurant and take a few pieces with you to try or eat them on site 🙂

War Samstag spät abends noch hier gewesen und habe mir hier ein Taxi Teller für 10€ bestellt!!! Der Preis hat mich im ersten Moment erschrocken,aber geschmacklich war er jeden einzelnen Cent wert! Die Location ist nicht so mein Ding. Die beiden Frauen die bedient haben waren sehr freundlich und witzig. Ja der Taxi Teller ist gefühlt teuer,aber ihr werdet es nicht bereuen. Sehr sehr lecker. Leider hatte ich zu großen Hunger,sonst ich Bilder gemacht.

Alles zur besten Zufriedenheit. Essen telefonisch bestellt und zur angegebenen Zeit geliefert bekommen. Essen hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Es hätte etwas wärmer sein können. Immer wieder gerne, wenn wir in Hattingen mit dem Wohnmobil sind. Wir haben nicht das letzte mal im Akropolis bestellt.

Essen kam schnell. 1 Stern. Lieferant war superfreundlich. 2. Stern. Aber das war es auch mit den Sternen l. Souvlaki Spies teilweise roh. Köftedaki ungewöhnlich ungewürzt. Gyros naja, Pommes mittel bis hart, Metaxasoße gestreckt und Industrieplörre und Winzportion, Tsatsiki vom Großhändler. Fazit: Kann man bestellen, muss man nicht nochmals machen. Für den Preis haben wir bei einem Mitbewerber gestern eine wesentlich bessere Qualität erhalten.

Köstlich, freundlich, authentisch. Mittlerweile ist natürlich auch das Essen im Lokal wieder möglich. Ein Glücksfall für Hattingen.

Bei der rundum hervorragenden Leistung und dem starken Willen, auch im Ausnahmezustand der Corona-Pandemie tagtäglich neue Kraft zu schöpfen und die Kunden stes sehr feundlich mit frisch zubereiteten griechischen Köstlichkeiten zu verwöhnen, sind die fünf Sterne mehr als verdient.
