Wir waren hier essen und rundum zufrieden. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Parkplätze sind auch genügend vorhanden. Besonders die Terrasse hat uns gefallen – dort kann man in einem tollen Ambiente den Aufenthalt genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Essen, hervorragender Service und ein schönes Ambiente. Wir waren nun das dritte Mal hier und sind sehr zufrieden. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist köstlich. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Das maritime Ambiente ist wirklich fantastisch und sehr ansprechend. Dieses Restaurant ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und kommen definitiv wieder.

Vorzügliches Essen, sehr gut gegrillt und gewürzt. Hochpreisig, aber sein Geld wert. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen besonderen Anlass.

Heute waren meine Frau und ich an meinem Geburtstag im Restaurant Odysseus essen – und ich kann nur sagen: Es war ein rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch! Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Nett und mit einer Prise willkommener Frechheit, absolut hervorragend! Alle zuvorkommend und klar verständlich. Ein Traum. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft nicht nur ein Werbespruch ist, sondern tatsächlich gelebt wird. Der Gruß aus der Küche war eine leckere kleine Freundlichkeit. Das Essen selbst war hervorragend. Die Qualität der Zutaten, die Zubereitung und die Präsentation der Speisen waren auf einem Niveau, das man leider nicht mehr überall findet. Die Portionen waren großzügig, geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und jeden Euro wert. Besonders positiv fiel uns auf, dass hier nicht auf Masse, sondern auf Klasse gesetzt wird (aber auch ein hungriger Mann wird hier satt, ich kann es sagen ;)). Kleine Kritik, die Menge der Soße dürfte etwas großzügiger ausfallen, gerade beim Filetteller. Die Preise lagen inklusive Getränk bei knapp 30€ pro Person, was nicht günstig, aber durchaus akzeptabel ist. Auch das Ambiente trägt dazu bei, dass man sich wohlfühlt und gerne länger sitzen bleibt. Es war genau die Mischung aus Gemütlichkeit, Qualität und Herzlichkeit, die einen Restaurantbesuch zu etwas Besonderem macht. Draußen, drinnen, wie man möchte, richtig gut. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen schönen (Geburtstags-)Abend und ganz besonders an unseren Oberkellner mit Humor und Verschmitztheit, das macht alles noch runder. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Wer in Hattingen oder Umgebung auf der Suche nach einem wirklich guten griechischen Restaurant ist, sollte diesem Haus unbedingt eine Chance geben. Man kommt als Gast – und geht tatsächlich mit dem Gefühl, als Freund verabschiedet worden zu sein. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Ein wirklich gutes Restaurant, sehr gute Qualität, top Service und gute Preise. Wir kommen regelmäßig und sind immer wieder begeistert. Steaks und Spargel wärmstens zu empfehlen! Sehr schöne Terrasse im Sommer.

Spaßige Vatertagsparty mit Kegeln, Essen und lecker Kaltgetränken

Super tolles Restaurant, Angefangen beim Service sowie dem Essen. Es war alles super. Es war alles frisch, schön serviert und die Portionen waren reichlich. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Haben hier in diesem an der Ruhr gelegenen Lokal zum ersten Mal gegessen. Das Ambiente ist ok, die Kegelbahn allerdings sehr dunkel und in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war freundlich, aber an diesem Tag auch recht gestresst. Das Essen hat mir persönlich nicht so gut geschmeckt, da mein Gyros leider mit Fett bestückt und teils noch rosig war. Der Vorspeisensalat war frisch und ausreichend, das Dressing auch nicht so meins, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Das Nudelrissotto fand ich super! Der Rest der Gruppe war zufrieden!

ein Absolut empfehlenswertes griechisches Restaurant! Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, reichlich und typisch griechisch gewürzt. Besonders das Fleisch war saftig und perfekt, die Beilagen ebenso überzeugend. Der Service war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen, man möchte garnicht mehr gehen. Ein echtes Highlight ist die hauseigene Kegelbahn – perfekt für einen geselligen Abend mit Freunden oder Familie. So wird der Restaurantbesuch gleich zu einem kleinen Event. Tolle Atmosphäre, super Essen und alle Mitarbeiter äußerst freundlich – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Waren heute spontan hier um etwas zu trinken und eine Tomatensuppe zu essen. Wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und werden definitiv nochmal zum Essen herkommen

Wir waren heute zu zweit dort essen. Es gab eine Vorspeisenplatte für 2 und Kürbis- Risotto. Vorab einen Gruß aus der Küche. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war toll kombiniert. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Absolut okay. Waren in der Woche mit vier Leuten zum Abendessen da. Spontan, kein Problem. Freundliches Personal. Modern mit griechisch Touch ist das Ambiente. Mich hat es nicht abgeholt, genau erklären kann ich das allerdings nicht. Es war einiges zu tun und da passte dann leider das Timing nicht richtig, zum alle gleichzeitig zu verköstigen. Die Entscheidung nahm ich natürlich an, änderte aber nichts an der Situation... Ich fand mein Essen okay, aber auch da kann ich nicht sagen warum es mir nicht besser gefallen hat. Es war absolut kein Reinfall, aber auch nicht so dass ich unbedingt nochmal dort hin muss. Viele sehen das wohl anders, da der Parkplatz immer gut gefüllt ist, wenn ich dort mal vorbei fahre. Liegt vielleicht auch an der Kegelbahn. Ich wünsche allen Gästen und auch den Restaurant nur das Beste. Bon Appetit

Weihnachtstipp: Köstliches Essen und Trinken

Tolles griechisches Restaurant: frisch zubereitet, großzügige Portionen und sehr aufmerksamer Service. Preis-Leistung passt.

Nettes Ambiente. Das Essen ist lecker und die Portionen sind groß genug. Da wir im Winter da waren, konnten wir die Terrasse leider nicht nutzen. Die Preise sind nicht überzogen. Es war nicht unser letzter Besuch.

Mega lecker, gute Portionen, sehr netter Service, Preis-Leistungsverhältins stimmt. Empfehle ich gerne weiter. Heute 13.10.2024 mal wieder dort gewesen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service hätte nicht besser sein können. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Gestern 15.03.20025 haben wir einen netten, sehr zufriedenstellenden Abend im Restaurant verbracht. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker und ausreichend. Der Service war wie gewohnt sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Bis zum nächsten Mal :-) Es war uns heute 7.12.2025 wieder ein Bedürfnis bei euch zu essen. Wie immer waren wir mit Allem zufrieden.

This was our first time here with a wheelchair user. We were treated excellently, and the service was very attentive and friendly. We're here on Sunday with eight people, and we wouldn't have come here if we weren't convinced.

The restaurant is located on the street, and the outside area is quite noisy and everything seems a bit unkempt. The food is mediocre, and they skimp on quality ingredients (fries with chicken seasoning, no real olive oil, and mini dips for the bread in the appetizers, and the use of ready-made sauces). The service was friendly, but the price-performance ratio isn't right, in my opinion.

**5 stars** We've been to this wonderful Greek restaurant several times now - and every time it's been just perfect! The food is always fresh, authentic and incredibly tasty. The various starters and grilled specialties are particularly enjoyable. The service is warm, attentive and always in a good mood. You really feel welcome here. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. For us one of the best Greek restaurants in the region and therefore an absolute recommendation!

Very nice restaurant near the Ruhr. There are enough parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant, but also in a backyard (access to the left of the restaurant). It's very good that you can reserve a table online or by phone. There are tables inside and the tables outside are covered. Ambience both very nice. Service was super friendly and very attentive (don't forget to tip) it all started with a "greetings from the kitchen". Currently additional season ticket with asparagus - was very tasty. Prices more than reasonable. You can pay in cash or by card. Tip to the owner: I would put up a sign on the street saying "Bikers welcome" - don't worry.. they are all super nice and bring in additional sales, especially on weekends during the day (!!!). The location is simply perfect. Simply put a bucket of water and a sponge to clean your visor and it can become a real meeting place on Sundays and public holidays.

I had dinner at your place with my wife and we were very excited! Very courteous and friendly service. Beforehand there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen and our main courses were also very, very tasty. The meat was on point (fillet plate and Zeus steak). The atmosphere is very bright and modern. This was definitely not our last visit!

From the telephone reservation to the farewell, the service was excellent! The dog was also given a friendly welcome including a water bowl already provided! Nothing to be taken for granted! The food tasted good and was of good quality. The price may be a little higher, but the ambience is also good, which I would describe as more upscale gastronomy. I think this won't be the last visit. I can't recommend either Penélope or Artemis plate, neither tasted good. Artemis was way too sour and 1 chicken was gristly, Penélope tastes like a lot of Maggi seasoning. The only thing that was really tasty is the tzatziki! I would even give 10 points for that.

Even if it's not the most important thing... The most beautiful waitress in the world and also the second most beautiful! - Top service! The food is 100% Greek, but there is 5% missing love for the Greek flair! It's a great owner-managed restaurant! I noticed that service and quality are very important and that a lot of attention is paid to the guest and to small details. Happy to keep it up 😊

First of all, very, very nice service. Secondly, super delicious food. Went there with the family and as vegans it was usually difficult for us to find anything other than salad in upscale restaurants. There are many vegan alternatives on offer. From schnitzel to casseroles to mushroom ragout with dumplings. We were thrilled. Gladly again! :)

3 minutes ago New Greek hospitality at a fair price! The Odysseus restaurant offers excellent value for money. The portions are generous, the prices are fair and the service is unbeatable. The staff is friendly, attentive and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The waiting times for the food were also pleasantly short. A perfect restaurant for a cozy evening with friends or family. The gyros were juicy and well seasoned, the salad was fresh and crunchy. I was particularly impressed by the homemade pepper sauce, which was simply delicious. The prices are reasonable and the price-performance ratio is right. I'd love to come back

Service very friendly. But for a (!) souvlaki with fries and salad €18.90...! Bifteki with fries and salad even €19.90...! The bifteki was about the size of a household sponge... the taste was really good, but the meat portion was more reminiscent of an appetizer... you had the impression that everything should somehow be made in a noble (and therefore expensive) way...

Upscale Greek restaurant with a nice ambience and very friendly service. The starters, grilled feta and octopus, olives and tzatziki, as well as the bread that came with it, were very tasty. There was even a very successful greeting from the kitchen in the form of a small soup. The main courses, shrimp, Viennese style schnitzel and gyros with fries were also very tasty Only the gyro was too spicy for me. The fries were heavily salted with seasoning salt, which made them too salty for my taste. Here I only want pure salt as a seasoning. We'll definitely be back.

Restaurant with a large covered outdoor terrace. Very tasty food no matter what you choose from the menu. Located directly on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path.

We ended up in this nice restaurant by chance, the service was very nice, we have never been welcomed and served so warmly. First there was a greeting from the kitchen which was incredibly delicious. For the main course I had bifteki with rosemary potatoes, it was very well seasoned and I have never eaten Greek food so deliciously. I can only recommend it, it really exceeded all expectations. We will definitely come back.

Yesterday Friday evening we organized our regular club bowling at the “Zum Deutschen” inn and were very impressed by the ambience of the location, the always friendly and attentive service and the condition of the bowling alley. Despite the slightly smaller portions than usual at our regular restaurant in Witten, the taste of the food was also convincing. Many thanks to the team for this successful evening!

We had gyros and I've never had one that was so bad. It wasn't from the skewer as advertised but from the pan and luke warm rather cold. Normally you wouldn't have been allowed to pay it but you didn't want any stress.

Penelope plate: grilled medallions of chicken breast fillet on porcini mushroom cream sauce with fried mushrooms, with rice noodle and tomato risotto and a side salad. First, a greeting from the kitchen. Everything was very tasty, portions were very good. The waitress was extremely friendly, courteous and tried very hard to please the guest.

It was an absolutely beautiful and fun evening. (karaoke) The service was very friendly and the food was excellent.

This restaurant is really highly recommended! I visited there with my partner in the afternoon. The waiter was really extremely nice and accommodating. At the beginning there was a small greeting from the kitchen, which was really delicious! The starter was bread with three different dips. The bread was crispy and warm. Dips included aioli, tzatziki and a spicy feta spread. We each ordered a steak dish from the menu, both medium-rare. The cooking point was perfect and the meat was really tender. For dessert we shared a chocolate cake with ice cream and cream, which was really sinfully good and juicy. Between meals the waiter would always come by to ask if we needed anything else and if it tasted good. In terms of price, it's a bit more upscale overall, but you can tell that in the quality of the food and the service. Overall we are really very satisfied, the food was great, the service was great - we would love to come back. :)

A super beautiful restaurant decorated with a lot of love. Everything is harmonious. Totally nice and super friendly service. From the outside the restaurant looks very inconspicuous. But then you have one wow effect after another.

Went to the restaurant for dinner yesterday and were very satisfied. Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Food was great and tasted very good. Price performance is good and fair. It was the first time there but definitely not the last time. Can only be recommended. PS the dog 🐕 also got water and that before us.

Very tasty and excellent food. Good, courteous service completes the decent overall impression. You could sit outside in the covered garden area in a very relaxed manner, as you could easily ignore the cars driving past on the directly adjacent street.

Essen war lecker, Fleisch war gut, Service ok. Trotzdem kein "klassischer" Grieche: weder gibt's irgendwelche gemischten (Grill-) Teller, noch einen Ouzo am Ende. Sonntags im 19h gab's kein Gyros mehr. Dafür war das Essen recht hochpreisig. Glaube nicht, daß wir dafür noch mal so weit rausfahren.
