Old water mill, unfortunately no longer in operation, with some old technology that can be viewed. Quaint and rustic atmosphere, but not barrier-free, German food very good, service fast, diligent and friendly. Outdoor seating in summer. Parking lot in the immediate vicinity.

Very delicious German cuisine! Big compliments to all the chefs and staff. Worthwhile excursion. Small pond next door and the ambience is nice to look at. I always ate here when I was a child. Service ladies sometimes seemed a bit stressed (understandable!!) but otherwise very polite and accommodating. Thanks!

The water mill in Krosigk is an institution in the Halle area and a tip for excursions if you have family visiting. The staff is extremely friendly towards guests, both young and old, and open to small special requests. The food is home-style in the best sense of the word, super tasty and more than filling. The schnitzel variations are all highly recommended. We'd love to come back. The area surrounding the restaurant also invites you to linger and take a walk. In addition to the large playground right next door, there is also the opportunity to visit the historic mill nearby.

Hello, we have always enjoyed visiting your house over the last two decades. Unfortunately, your service has become so poor that we will no longer be returning to you in the future. I think it's acceptable that restaurateurs need to make money given the many problems they have. However, it's not okay for me that at Christmas time the watermill is filled to the brim with people and you get the impression that you're just a paying subject. We got there 15 minutes before the agreed time because we had a table reservation for two people for yesterday. We were turned away because the first group of guests had not yet left the location. My mother, who is 86 years old, had to sit outside in the cold, wet weather. After ten minutes she was very cold so we decided to leave. Despite all the insight into the problem you have: you want to go out to eat in order to enjoy and spend time with your family in a relaxed manner. However, if I feel like I am just a paying subject, then I will no longer host parties or come over for dinner with my family in the future. I still wish him good luck in the future, but perhaps this criticism is something to think about. I understand that they are struggling with many problems, be it the lack of staff or the high cost of electricity. But if the guests are only seen as goods that have to bring in sales, I'm sorry. I don't understand why I have to refrain from your offer in the future. Nevertheless, I wish you a happy new year.

We had an appointment for Christmas dinner with the family at 11:00 a.m. Were there on time. After about 20 minutes, we placed our drinks and food orders. Time slot specified by the restaurant at the end of 1 p.m. Highlight = food arrived at 12:40 p.m. The waiter appeared at 12:58 p.m. with the request to pay the bill and make room for the second round. No Christmas feeling.

The history of the watermill in Krosigk goes back to the Middle Ages. There was evidence of one as early as the 15th century, and it is quite likely that this mill was on the old road between Krosigk and Kaltenmark... This was badly damaged and restored several times, but in 1679 the manor owner gave it up after it was destroyed again after the Thirty Years' War. He sold it to a Löbejüner and it wasn't until 1893 that they got it back... Today it is primarily a monument. A restaurant in the mill and the local mill association ensure its preservation. A mill museum was also set up... The restaurant is idyllically located and has a pleasant outdoor area on warm days. The service is friendly, quick and accommodating, even to small children. The dishes are freshly prepared, hearty and extremely tasty... A visit that is worth it several times over. Highly recommended!

Great ambience and the good weather invited you to eat outside. A reservation is recommended. The service was on the ball and always saw when you needed something. We didn't have to wait long for the food, which tasted good. The portions were sufficient and the plate was nicely presented. Parking spaces are available.

We came here without making an appointment based on a recommendation and barely managed to get a table (so book in advance!). It was absolutely worth it! Sitting outside is very pleasant, everything is surrounded by trees or covered. Water bowl for dogs available. We received a very friendly welcome. The food was very tasty and attractively prepared - everything was freshly prepared! Plus top price/performance ratio. We are very happy to recommend it.

Four of us came here on Saturday evening after making a reservation. The reception was very friendly. Despite the fact that there were many guests there, we were able to choose between several places. Shortly after we sat down, we received the cards and were able to choose the drinks. They then came quickly. Despite our many special requests, all the dishes came very quickly and were presented very attractively!! All dishes were extremely tasty, freshly prepared and left no room for criticism!! Again, big praise to the service team. We'll definitely be happy to come back. P.S. On August 10th😉😉

Totally disappointed! Went on a spontaneous bike ride. We were turned away with the message that we hadn't ordered and nothing was available. There were still 3 large tables free. And it wasn't overcrowded either... Totally incomprehensible!

We always enjoy coming here. The food is always excellent and you can taste that it is cooked with love. The service is excellent. The service ladies always work with a smile and are very quick, even when the restaurant is full. The mill is beautifully located, you can sit outside or in the restaurant. The menu is varied and special requests are catered for if you express them in advance when ordering. If possible 10/10 stars. 😍

We were able to take our seats outside due to the summer temperature. The friendly waitress immediately came and asked what drinks we wanted, which were served immediately. We didn't have to wait long for the food, even though there were numerous guests present. Despite the stress, the service staff were always friendly and had kind words to say. The food was absolutely delicious, well prepared, hot and freshly prepared, and the kitchen deserves great praise for that. We can only recommend the location and will definitely come back.

We went to Krosigk for the first time to eat with our friends at the Wassermühle on Wednesday. The meals were tasty and well prepared. The girls (service) were very busy, the restaurant was fully occupied, in the outdoor area, and were friendly, polite and courteous. Price-performance ratio is okay. We will come back

We were at Petersberg on Saturday and then at the Wassermühle for lunch. We can highly recommend it. Great and friendly service and great food, the prices are right because everything is freshly prepared here, so you have to plan for a little waiting time, which I'm happy to accept given the quality of the food. The ambience is great. Gladly and again at any time.

The service was not very motivated and could hardly hide this, the food was partly oversalted, the “mixed” salad mainly consisted of raw vegetable salad (it's a matter of taste, I personally imagined more for 10€). And the ambience was supposed to look rustic, but in my opinion it was just old-fashioned with no attention to detail. We won't be coming back.

Ein wunderschöne Gaststätte mit rustikaler Atmosphäre. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Ausgewogene Speisekarte wo jeder etwas findet.

Diese Gaststätte ist ruhig gelegen, auf der Speisekarte ist für jeden was dabei. Wir waren zum 3. Mal, zu einem Feier dort. Es war ein separater Raum, liebevoll dekoriert, mit nur einer kleinen Speisekarte, aber auch Extrawünsche wurden erfüllt. Die Bedienung flink und auch nett.

Wir gehen immer wieder gern hin. Das Essen ist bis auf wenige Ausnahmen (alles Geschmacksache oder der Koch ist mal verliebt) super. Im Sommer lädt der beschattete Biergarten zum gemütlichen Beisammensein ein.

Schöne Location im historischen Gebäude. Das Essen wird frisch gemacht und dauert daher eine Weile. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu lang. Das Essen selbst war aber sehr lecker. Man sollte Fuß fest sein, die Räume sind nur per Treppe zu erreichen

Nach dem wir dem Petersberg und der Sommerrodelbahn einen Besuch abgestattet haben, sind wir eher durch Zufall auf diesen herrlichen Ort mit seiner sehenswerten Gaststätte gestoßen. Trotz eines voll ausgebuchten Hauses, fand man für uns 5 einen Tisch in der traditionsreichen Wassermühle. Nach einer sehr überschaubaren Wartezeit wurde uns durch eine sehr freundliche Bedienung ein sehr, sehr köstliches Essen serviert!!! Es hat wirklich wunderbar geschmeckt! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wildgulasch mit Rotkohl und Kartoffelklößen, geschmacklich sehr zu empfehlen, leider war es mir ein bisschen zu wenig Gulasch. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ich kann das, was hier negativ bewertet wird, absolut nicht verstehen. Sooft wir in der Mühle zu Gast waren, wurden wir immer und ausnahmslos zuvorkommend bedient. Unser Essen war frisch zubereitet und wurde heiß serviert. Einfach perfekte und schmackhafte Hausmannskost. Natürlich ist es eine reine Glückssache für mehr als 2 Personen kurzfristig einen Tisch zu bekommen, aber Leute, lasst mal die Kirche im Dorf, das ist doch nach Corona nichts ungewöhnliches. Ein gutes Restaurant hat nun mal die Bude voll. Zeigt ja auch, dass alles OK ist. Und wenn ich mir hier manche Bewertung durchlese, kommt mir der alte Spruch in den Kopf: "So wie man in den Wald reinruft....". Ich denke die Servicekräfte, die hier tagtäglich ihr Bestes geben sind auch manchmal am Ende der Kräfte und alle die hier meckern, können sich doch einfach bewerben :-). Ich glaub die Mühle sucht auch dringend Leute. Also immer schön gelassen und fair bleiben, auch wenn manche denken, sie wären der Nabel der Welt. Wir gehen gerne her und freuen uns immer wieder, einige schöne Stunden an diesem schönen Ort zu verbringen.

Wir wollten bereits das zweite mal in dieser Gaststätte am Sonntag Mittag essen. Es waren zwei Tische im Außenbereich besetzt. Am Eingang ein Hinweisschild mit der Aufschrift " Heute kein Mittagstisch" nur bei Reservierung. Nachfrage bei der Bedienung, es ist alles voll. Das war der zweite Versuch, beim ersten Mal waren wir auch erstaunt und verärgert. Nach 100km Anfahrt und leeren Tischen um 12.30uhr ist es für uns der letzte Versuch gewesen. An keiner Werbetafel der Gaststätte wird darauf hingewiesen, dass in diesem Ausflugslokal Mittagstisch nur nach Reservierung möglich ist. Service geht auch anders, dass erleben wir in jedem Ausflugslokal in Franken und Bayern.

Das Restaurant ist idyllisch gelegen und mit angenehmen Außenbereich. Die Bedienung ist flink und zuvorkommend auch zu kleinen Kindern. Die Speisen sind deftig und lecker.

Wirklich ein kleiner Geheimtipp! Süße Location, die Service auch als Service verstehen. Essen kann auf Wunsch mitgenommen werden. Das Rieseneisbein, sowie die Roulade waren köstlich zubereitet und der Nachtisch Apfelstrudel mit Eis/Sahne war ein herrlicher Abschluss! Vielen Dank! Weiter so
