Puuuh wo fange ich an? Also der Reihe nach. Ambiente: Wir waren jetzt nicht drinnen, so kann ich nicht viel sagen. Wir saßen heute, wegen dem Wetter, draußen und haben die Sonne genossen. Die Stühle, Tische und Schirme waren stabil und wirkten nicht ausgelutscht. Für 85,00 haben wir 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Hauptgerichte, 5 Cocktails und 1 Flasche Wasser bekommen. Der Preis ist absolut fair, da konnte man Null meckern. Dafür war das Essen böse. Brezel mit Dip: TK Bfezel mit Fertigdip Gulaschsuppe: Ist eine Conveniencesuppe, da ist nkx selbstgemacht. Die Suppe hatte Null Geschmack, Null pep. Hier hätte man zumindest pimpen können. 2 Curry-Frikadellen mit Pommes: Die Pommes waren 8er Billigfritten, welche viiieeel zu hell waren. Null kross Null Aroma. Bei den Nachbartischen sahen die auch so aus. Die Frikadellen waren eine reine Katastrophe! Das war mehr ein geformter Hackbrei als eine Frikadelle. Null Bissfestigkeit Null Geschmack. Der Wirtshaus Grillteller ging. Das Fleisch war okay. Die Bratkartoffel hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die in einer Bain Marie warmgehalten wurden, da diese leicht weich/labberich waren. Das Gemüse war TK, alles gut und nicht schlimm. Das benutzen viele und ist nicht verwerflich, es sollte aber heiss sein. Vielleicht sollte man den Warmhaltebehälter heisser stellen. Die Cocktails waren super. Die waren geschmacklich total in Ordnung und für nen Fünfer mehr als billig. Die Bedienung: Unser Kellner war super freundlich und hat sich echt Mühe gegeben. War schnell da und hat alles schnell gebracht. Er hat von sich aus sogar Bierdeckel für aufs Glas wegen den Wespen gebracht. Kurz um... Der Service ist super, die Getränke waren top. Zum gemütlichen sitzen auf der Terrasse bei Wasser, Bier und Cocktails lohnt sich diese Location auf jeden fall. Zum Essen gehen? Ich würde sagen auf keinen fall! Denn dafür sind zuviele Fehler passiert. Fehler in Form von Convenience Produkten und einer Null elan Zubereitung. Da ist jedes andere Lokal in der Nachbarschaft besser geeignet.

Für den Preis ist es ziemlich teuer, und es wäre besser, wenn die Wurst im Ganzen geliefert würde, nicht in Stücke geschnitten. Ich würde es nicht empfehlen.

Stunde gewartet und essen war nicht warm

Ein tolles Erlebnis: Wir genossen ein Essen und ein frisch gezapftes Bier von Bitburg auf der Terrasse. Der Service war schnell, effizient und freundlich. Die Currywurst war sehr gut. Angemessene Preise.

Innen Leerer Restaurant, keine Bedingung da. 30min auf Bedienung gewartet, haben es sein gelassen. Anscheinend haben die es nicht nötig Kunden zu bedienen. Bedienung hat uns gesehen, da wir direkt am Eingang standen. Na dann, Prost und auf nimmer wieder sehen!

Wir waren vor einem Jahr schonmal hier und hatten leckere Cocktails. Leider muss es hier gebrannt haben und es ist auf unbestimmte Zeit geschlossen....

Tiefkühl Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse sind nun nicht wirklich Brauhaus like. Da sollte man dringend das Mindset prüfen.

Toller Ort, nettes Personal. Ich bin hauptsächlich dorthin gegangen, weil ich Internetzugang brauchte. Ich konnte das Internet nutzen und einem Kollegen ein paar Dinge online präsentieren.

Kevin bester Mann! Kellner durch und durch und ist mit Leib und Seele direkt an den Menschen! Hab mich sehr aufgehoben gefühlt und er war immer für einen lockeren Spruch zu haben.

Haben über eine halbe Stunde auf unsere Getränke gewartet, obwohl der Laden gerade mal halbvoll war. Man sollte halt einfach in qualifiziertes Personal investieren…

Wir waren spontan zu zweit dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Ein Wirtshaus so wie man es sich vorstellt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Getränke kamen rasch an den Tisch. Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Man kam sich wie im Bahnhofsrestaurant vor. Sehr laut. Spätzle waren kalt und nicht selbstgemacht. Fleisch war in Ordnung. Gläser waren über längerem Zeitraum leer.

Super Service, Frühstück war gut und für den Preis angemessen. Nett gesessen und eine gute Zeit verbracht.

Freitagabend um 00:05 Uhr war für neue GästInnen geschlossen. Trier ist ein Dorf.

Wir hatten zum Jahreswechsel reserviert und das Essen vorbestellt. Der „Chef“, wie ihn die netten Mitarbeiter nannten, wirkte gereizt und genervt. Unangenehmer Start. An unserem Nebentisch beschwerte sich eine Dame über ihr Essen. Unser Essen war später auch eine Katastrophe. Nur noch lauwarm, hatte ganz offensichtlich zu lange gestanden. Die Backkartoffeln waren zudem auch noch ölig weich. Insgesamt ist das meiste auf Industrieprodukt-Niveau. Als Entschuldigung sollten wir ein Heißgetränk auf Kosten des Hauses wählen. Nein, danke. Wir wollten so schnell wie möglich weg. Fazit: nie wieder.

Fantastisches Essen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Kellner. Habe auch einen Tisch für Samstagabend reserviert 👌

Vorsicht! Das Schnitzel wird hier frittiert statt wie üblich in der Pfanne gebraten. Alles, was wir gegessen haben, schmeckte, als käme es aus der Tüte und wäre nicht frisch zubereitet. Die Käsespäztle schmeckten wie aufgewärmte Nudeln mit Käse aus der Mikrowelle – nicht so schön cremig, wie man es von frisch zubereiteten Gerichten erwarten würde. Die Bratkartoffeln waren genauso schlecht. Sie waren definitiv nicht frisch zubereitet und kamen eindeutig aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Bei diesen Preisen sollte man deutlich bessere Qualität erwarten. Wir können dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen und werden nicht wiederkommen.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem typisch deutschen Restaurant, um ein leckeres Schnitzel zu essen, und wir haben es gefunden! Das Essen war hervorragend (10/10), die Bedienung freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie empfahlen mir ein tolles lokales dunkles Bier, das mir sehr gut schmeckte.

Wir waren nach langer Zeit noch einmal zum Frühstücksbuffet dort. Ich würde es als "solide" bezeichnen. Alles in allem ein gutes Preisleistungs-Verhältnis. Mir persönlich fehlte Fisch und kleine Gepäckstücke. Die Atmosphäre ist relativ laut, die Location ist nicht für ein gemütliches, ruhiges Frühstück geeignet. Mich würde noch interessieren, ob in diesem Laden das fleissige Personal wenigstens das Trinkgeld behalten kann....

Klassisches Brauhaus mit einfacher Küche. Auch vegetarisches Essen wird angeboten. Mir eher zu laut und hektisch. Sonst in Ordnung.

Wir hatten das Frühstücksbufet, alles in allem geschmacklich okay. Der Service ist wirklich freundlich... ...ABER in meinem Glas befand sich unten, innen am Boden irgendwelcher Dreck. Es waren schwarze kleine Stückchen und ich hatte eine Fanta...(Diese wurde nicht berechnet) Zudem standen auf der Anrichte, wo man sich einen "frischen" Teller nimmt, mehrere dreckige Teller. War dann unser letztes Frühstück dort.

We spontaneously decided to grab a beer! After 10 minutes, our order was taken listlessly, and 20 minutes later: they'd forgotten our order (even though the place was only about 20% full). So we left.

There were 12 of us, 7 adults and 5 children. The food was very good and the service was great. We ordered a selection of sausages as appetizers, and 3 pork knuckles for the adults, and a children's menu for the kids. We had 7 half-liter beers, without dessert. In the end, the bill came to less than €20 per person. The waiter spoke to us in Spanish and we were served very quickly! Perfect place to go with children!

The cocktails here are always delicious. Yesterday I tried the "Flieten" (a type of German pastry) for the first time. Also very tasty. My only complaint: the TV showing the Bundesliga match was too loud.

It was delicious; we ate here three times within a week because we enjoyed it so much. No matter how busy it was, the food always arrived very quickly, and the staff frequently asked if we needed anything else. The waiters were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I went to watch football at Bitburger for the first time in ages. It was pretty quiet. A sign of the times with skyrocketing prices. The service was inconsistent. Sometimes very friendly, other times they took an order at the next table and didn't even notice the empty glass next to them. A familiar problem. Especially in a brewery, things should be different. I have to be very critical of the food. I had the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle). The portion was rather small, the salad had standard dressing but was otherwise okay. The spaetzle were far too soft, lacked salt, couldn't taste any pepper, and the cheese was tasteless. You can discuss the increased prices in the restaurant industry, and the cost of ingredients for a handful of spaetzle with salad might be less than €2. But if you're still charging €15 for it, the food should be well-prepared. Käsespätzle isn't exactly haute cuisine. And that's what really bothers me. If a plate like that cost €8-9, you might overlook it, but at €15, it's unacceptable. I have to be critical of the food. The server tried to excuse it by saying it was due to the cheese sauce, etc. That's nonsense, of course. Especially since the spaetzle in another dish my companion ordered were also too soft. So please, dear Bitburger, instead of trying to downplay the mistake, cook properly.

Simply good food for a reasonable price. Very busy and noisy. Service is fast. Making a reservation through their own website is apparently not always possible, as we experienced.

The food is good, the portions are perfectly fine, the waiters are very busy, and unfortunately, we were the ones who suffered. We waited 15 minutes to order drinks, 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Then we ordered our food, and then we waited 75 minutes for the food. We won't put ourselves through that again, although we understand it's busy. But it was simply far too long.

For starters, I had Trierer Flieten (a kind of pancake) with aioli. Chicken wings with a spice scrub and a sauce of my choice—in my case, an aioli. The dish was okay, but nothing special. The homemade spritzers were solid and good value for money. The main course was cheese spaetzle with salad. Unfortunately, the dish wasn't convincing. The spaetzle were overcooked, lacked the flavor of a mountain cheese that complemented the dish, and I had to add salt and pepper. The salad that accompanied the dish was balanced and colorful. It was dressed with a cream/yogurt dressing. I would have preferred an apple cider vinegar/mustard vinaigrette for a more refreshing contrast to the heavy dish. But that's a matter of taste. The service was consistently friendly, courteous, and very informative, and I felt like I was being taken care of every step of the way. A big compliment to Dennis, who served me. Thank you very much!

Very tasty food, tasted very good, ambience also very nice, but for me the price is incomprehensible because as an adult I can expect to be full from 17€ for a schnitzel, but the portion was more for a child (in my opinion)

I was there today, October 11, 2025. I was assigned a table, and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. The food, for example, suckling pig with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut, was incredibly delicious and highly recommended. The portions are very generous. It's definitely worth a visit.

A lovely, well-kept inn where you can meet up for breakfast in the morning and for a delicious cocktail in the evening. The staff is very friendly and very child-friendly; we enjoy coming here regularly.

There were 18 of us there. The food arrived early, but the drinks took a while. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all; some of it was cold, some of it undercooked, and the burgers were poorly topped. The cocktails were tasty but not strong; everything here is about quantity. The warming oven in the open kitchen fits the overall impression: quantity, quantity, quantity. There are much better restaurants in the area.

The pork knuckle with vegetables was delicious, freshly prepared, and well-seasoned. The non-alcoholic beer was also very good; highly recommended!

Breakfast is good, lunch is okay, portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. But the service has always been top-notch.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the food we ordered, and the quality was just okay. The spaetzle was mediocre, the schnitzel came with a lot of papery sauce, and the salad was quite good. We weren't impressed.

Can you go? I recommend the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.

I ordered a cocktail, and after the first one was returned, the second one was even worse mixed—probably because I complained. Swapping sugar for salt—okay—can happen, too. I'll spare you the rest.

The food took 3 hours to come not only that but it was dirty and smelled weird and when the food came after I was starving it was worse than McDonald's.

Seven of us spontaneously stopped by on a Friday evening. We were assigned a table. The food was so good. Plenty and fresh. Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. We would have liked to order more drinks. All of them. However, it wasn't possible to order them either via the app or with gestures. In a brewery, I expect the service, especially with drinks, to be better organized. The service staff were simply overwhelmed. It's a shame, everything else was fine.

Cozy pub with very friendly staff and good beer.

The staff is super friendly and the service is very good and attentive. Even though you can order by phone, they always pay attention to any requests you may have. The food was delicious, truly excellent German cuisine. Especially the sauerkraut – highly recommended! All in all, a very good experience there.

The food is more on the level of a good chain restaurant, but the prices are okay for the location. A bit underwhelming, but you can eat there. The breakfast buffet is nice and plentiful.

A total of 30 minutes of waiting – no interest in guests I ordered a beer at the Bitburger Wirtshaus Trier. While neighboring tables received their drinks after 3 minutes, I waited for more than 20 minutes without any updates. When I asked, the simple reply was, "We're currently changing the keg" – without an apology or offer of an alternative. I had to call several times! Later, I was suddenly told there were "technical problems" and asked if I wanted "something else." No manager (supposedly "in a meeting"), no compensation, not even a "sorry." Conclusion: Ridiculous organization, disinterested staff, zero customer service.

Friendly pub and brasserie in the center of Trier, with a magnificent and very large terrace. The food is simple and typically German. The interior is nicely decorated, although a little dark. The service is quite efficient but can take a little time during busy times, given the number of tables available.

10:30 a.m. Best time for breakfast. Boiled eggs empty. Yogurt empty. Rolls temporarily empty. Croissants temporarily empty. Greek stew empty. The list goes on. Tea ordered 45 minutes ago and still nowhere to be seen. Reason: one coffee machine is broken. There's a backlog in processing orders. So the tea customers have to wait, too. Flexibility is nonexistent. It's not as if a group of 60 teachers turns up unannounced. They knew about this a few weeks in advance. Then perhaps they could adjust the number of service staff. The management should be able to do that. Or is that asking too much? And they'll probably still charge the full price in the end. I'm curious. Chances are I'll come back here again...you can guess.

This was the second time I've been there and simply wasn't served. Since I had to catch a bus trip, it eventually got too late, and I had to leave – without lunch.

We were there last Saturday. At first, the service was very friendly and attentive. The meal, a baked potato and a cheese spaetzle: the potato was still quite firm 😉, the salad was very modest, but the taste was OK. The cheese spaetzle were anything but "inviting" (eating with the eyes) 😉, and the salad was also very modest. We wanted to pay, but unfortunately our server was no longer there, so we had to wait a bit for a colleague. We sat outside; the table was sticky. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio here isn't right.

We had a wonderful lunch here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What made the experience extra special was the service — Dominiek took such great care of us. Friendly, attentive, and with spot-on recommendations.

We found the food bland; I'm used to cheese spaetzle differently. It was more of a sauce, a bit mushy. I asked for salt and pepper... but it didn't come even after asking again. The grilled platter wasn't that special in our opinion, but it was OK. Value for money 😕

There were eight of us traveling, and we spontaneously asked for a table and actually got one right away! That alone was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good, solid cuisine, just as you'd expect from a local restaurant. The real highlight of our visit, however, was the service. Our waiter was simply fantastic, attentive, friendly, and warm at the same time. He practically anticipated our every need, was always present without ever being intrusive, and his good mood carried the entire evening. You rarely experience such genuine commitment and hospitality these days. An evening we will surely remember for a long time, not just because of the food, but above all because of the exceptional service. Absolutely recommended!

Overall, everything was pretty good, but not perfect. The food could definitely be improved. We had lunch there, and despite the restaurant being extremely busy, we received impeccable service. Our service absolutely exceeded our expectations. I ordered an additional side salad with my main course and requested it with oil and vinegar vinaigrette. Since my main course came with a small salad dressing, which is usually served with yogurt dressing, our server naturally made sure that the salad dressing was also dressed with oil and vinegar vinaigrette, without me even requesting it. Absolute respect, considering the restaurant was almost completely full!

Ordered a grill plate, was asked whether it was medium or well done, so I ordered medium, and every piece of meat was practically dead in the pan. There was no service nearby to complain about. When clearing up, it was pointed out, and it was dismissed as okay. They're not going to do this. Two people, just under €60, never again.

Unfortunately, it's not like it used to be. All the food these days is pre-cooked and simply heated. The quality isn't great.

With beautiful weather, extremely friendly service, and a friendly crowd, it was the perfect place to end your vacation in comfort. The food was worthy of the inn's name, and there was a selection of different beers, including the last Winterbock of July.

I ate a burger there. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Neither in terms of taste nor quality. Overall, it just wasn't tasty.

Verry good food, love the snitzel and the burgers a huge :). And verry good service 5 starts allround.
