Gasthaus Crames in Trier

Wir waren schon mehrfach vor Ort und bislang immer sehr zufrieden. Heute jedoch trotz Reservierung bei All you can eat völlige Überforderung! 45 Minuten Wartezeit zwischen den Portionen, Getränke lange Zeit leer - keine Nachfragen, insgesamt wurde uns nur 1 mal Pommes gebracht. Vielleicht sollte man an All you can eat Tagen entweder die Gästezahl begrenzen oder sich deutlich besser darauf vorbereiten, so dass mehr Küchen - und Service personal vorhanden ist. Wir wollten das ganze nach 3 Stunden einfach nur noch beenden, obwohl wir noch gerne weitere Flieten (die wirklich lecker sind) gegessen hätten. Auch Kaffee und Nachtisch ist normalerweise bei uns ein Muss... Heute aber nicht. Schade, aber wir werden nach dem heute wirklich enttäuschenden Abend erstmal nicht mehr wieder kommen.

Sehr sympathisches Lokal mit bodenständiger Küche. Gute und typische Gasthaus- Atmosphäre. Karte mit großer Auswahl an herzhaften Gerichten. Vegetarier finden hier auf der Karte weniger, aber ich bin mir sicher dass hier auf Nachfrage bestimmt Vorschläge gemacht werden. Mitarbeiter inkl. Chef sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Super Essen geheim Tipp für die Gamers Szene. Codewort „übertaktet“ schaltet die geheime Speisekarte frei. Herrliches Gespräch über Gaming Geschichte inklusive. Bedienung mit Herzblut. Pastrami Sandwich und pulled pork burger waren super. Ping etwas verzögert. Aber dann authentisch

Wir wählten dieses Gasthaus eher zufällig, da wir spät in Trier ankamen. Wir bestellten zwei Schnitzel (Foto 1). Meine Partnerin machte dem Koch einen Heiratsantrag, weil sie so gut waren. „Die beste Pfeffersauce, die ich je gegessen habe!“, sagte sie. Der Koch lehnte ab, ebenso wie der sehr freundliche Kellner. Also gingen wir am nächsten Tag wieder hin (Foto 2). Es war anders, aber genauso lecker. Diesmal kein Heiratsantrag, aber ein hervorragendes Essen in toller Atmosphäre. Nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, definitiv einen Abstecher wert!

Wir waren am 1.11.25 auf der Durchreise durch Zufall auf das Gasthaus Carmes gestoßen und haben auch direkt ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für 2 Personen bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Bier 🍻 und die Schnitzel mit Pommes, waren die besten die ich in letzter Zeit gegessen habe. Alles sehr frisch und ausreichend und mega mega lecker... eine sehr gute Preis- Leistung !! 😋.... wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Vielen Dank

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr netter Wirt, der aufgrund heutiger Personalnot für den kompletten Service alleine verantwortlich war. Ging dennoch alles sehr schnell. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal hier!

October 19, 2025: We had already made a reservation for this day, a really nice welcome, and great communication right from the start. Delicious "fliet" (chicken wings) as a starter. A custom-made schnitzel for the main course, incredibly delicious. It was fantastic!! Hope to see you later. October 17, 2025: Absolutely amazing, friendly, and helpful about parking!! Really super!!! And the chocolate dream was fantastic!!!

A customer's request was misunderstood, and we had to wait over an hour for two dishes. The portions were far too small for the price.

There was a dirty, used towel hanging in the shower. A dirty dishcloth lay low on the kitchen counter. Clean towels didn't smell fresh. The bedding was wrinkled, making it look like someone had slept in it. In other words, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless more attention was paid.

Friendly service in a pleasant setting. Good food and warm-hearted people. A good selection of local wines...highly recommended.

We had the food delivered; the driver was very friendly and personable, the lady on the phone was also super friendly, and the food was incredibly delicious. Everything arrived warm, and even the fries and fried potatoes weren't soggy like you often get from other places. The garlic dip is a 10 out of 10. We can/must definitely recommend you. We will be ordering food from you more often.

The location is a bit dated. Parking is unfortunately scarce. However, the food is very, very good. The food is very tasty and authentic. Therefore, a visit to this place is highly recommended!

We ordered on the spur of the moment. The fries were absolutely fantastic, the fries were superbly seasoned. We had the goat's tarte flambée... I highly recommend it. I still have to figure out how to make such a good garlic sauce. Delivery was quick, everything was hot, and the ingredients seemed to be of the highest quality. I'm looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person. I definitely recommend it!

Small rustic restaurant with a beer hall atmosphere. Good home cooking. Plenty of portions, so make sure you're hungry enough. It is appreciated if the plates are eaten empty. But it is a challenge. Prices very reasonable, staff friendly.

Went there for the all you can eat spare ribs. The price-performance ratio is perfect. The staff was very nice and explained everything to us politely. Food was a dream so really 10/10. And the atmosphere was also very nice and cozy. Highly recommended👍

Fast delivery and very good food.

Ended up here by chance. Searched Google for schnitzel restaurant in Trier. This one was at the top and appealed to us. It was a bit of a drive from the center but well worth it. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service with an eye for detail. Spare ribs sufficient and tasty. Schnitzel natural, nice and tender and crispy. Please note that you must order fries, potatoes and/or salad separately. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

You're almost afraid of getting full! Well, and if at some point you feel well-fed and long for a sofa and want to make financial changes, there will definitely be no heartburn afterwards, because the price-performance ratio is really great! The question remains: everything as usual? Yes, but gladly again and again!

Relaxed inn with very friendly service and good menu. A spontaneous table for two on a Saturday evening just before Christmas? No problem. The tiles were sensational. We'll definitely be back :)

A gem that is all too easy to walk or drive past. This inn doesn't necessarily look like much from the outside, but the inside is 100% convincing! The menu is not overloaded, and what is on it is definitely something special. Without exception, everything we ordered (there were five of us) was absolutely great. The atmosphere is exactly what I expect from an inn: down-to-earth but cozy. The passionate restaurateur shows himself when it comes to service: very attentive, calm, professional, fond of children and flexible. It doesn't get any better. We'll definitely be back!

Das Personal war überfordert lange Wartezeit schon bei Getränken Essen kam sehr spät Steak Fleisch Qualität war OK aber war zu trocken nicht medium wie gewünscht, aber Wirt hat sich entschuldigt sehr vorkommend im Preisnachlass und hat jedem 10 Personen kostenlos Getränke ausgegeben.

Seltsam, auf der Homepage gelten andere Preise als bei Lieferung? Davon steht hier nichts! Auch die Preisliste bei Liferando hilft nicht weiter. Letzendlich ist die Preisgestaltung nicht nachvollziehbar und eine Klärung war trotz telefonischer Nachfrage seitens des Gasthaus Crames auch nicht drin. An dem Geschmack der „Flieten“ ist nichts auszusetzen, die sind das Aushängeschild des Restaurants und sehr gut. Nur die Soßen sind nicht selbst gemacht und von einem bekannten Hersteller den man im Supermarktregal finden kann. Zumindest konnte ich die Bedienung dabei beobachten wie sie die kleinen Dosen zur Ausserhauslieferung damit füllte. Für mich keine Empfehlung.

We hebben tijdens ons verblijf in Trier-Biewer 3 avonden hier gegeten. Zeer uitgebreide kaart van Schnitzels, steaks, verschillende flammkuchen en salades. Geen voorgerechten en weinig desserts. Specialiteit van het huis zijn de Flieten, kippenvleugels. Het eten is heerlijk en de porties zijn meer dan royaal. Bediening is netjes en informeel. Wij waren buitengewoon verrast, hadden minder verwacht.

We had dinner here 3 evenings during our stay in Trier-Biewer. Very extensive menu of Schnitzels, steaks, various flammkuchen and salads. No starters and few desserts. The house specialty is the Flieten, chicken wings. The food is delicious and the portions are more than generous. Service is neat and informal. We were extremely surprised, we expected less.

😄Very cozy inn. Home cooking. The highlight of the menu are the Angus steaks. Of course, as befits a good restaurant in Trier, there are also fries with fries and salad, as well as a Porz Viez. It was all very tasty. The prices are fair. A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but that's a good thing. 👍🏼 Was here for the first time. But it certainly won't be the last time I'll be here. Sehr guter Service, schönes Ambiente. Die Rippchen waren zwar etwas zäh, aber geschmacklich sehr lecker und auch wirklich groß. Die meisten dürften nach einer Portion bereits satt sein. Leider liegt das Restaurant sehr weit entfernt, sodass wir wahrscheinlich nicht oft schaffen werden dort zu essen. Trotzdem wirkt es auf mich sehr einladend und gepflegt.

Waren am Mittwoch den 01.03.23 ( All you can eat Flieten) das ersten Mal dort. Manche Rezension sind hier nicht nachvollziehbar. Es war ein absolut gelungener Abend. Super Service und sehr sehr leckere Flieten. Alles in einer sehr guten Qualität. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Gut bürgerliches Restaurant. Die Qualität des essen war hervorragend, war mir persönlich nur zu Natriumarm ( Burger ) Aber dafür steht alles auf dem Tisch zum nachwürzen . Top. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und dann probiere ich die Flieten

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe essen. Es war Dienstag und somit All-You can eat Rippchen. Das Ganze kostet 19,80€. Dafür bekommt man zwar recht zarte, allerdings trockene und sehr Röstaroma-lastige Babybackrips. Um etwas zu trinken zu bekommen muss man warten, trotz wenig Betrieb und 3 Servicekräften. Der Haushund war öfter am Tisch als das Servicepersonal... Die Rippchen waren mager gewürzt und ohne Marinade. Kein echter Hochgenuss. Preis-Leistung war eher schlecht. 8 von 8 Personen sind dieser Meinung gewesen. Das Servicepersonal war allerdings sehr nett, daher 2 Sterne. Wenn man mit der Karte bezahlen will sollte man mind. 30 min. einplanen bis das Kartelesegerät halbwegs funktioniert. Nicht wieder. PS: Ich bin auf die verteidigende Stellungnahme des Besitzers gespannt, die sowohl grammatikalisch als auch inhaltlich vieles über den Charakter aussagt (siehe andere Rezensionen).

I had the best spare ribs I've eaten in Germany. There's a friendly buzz in here, even on a Tuesday afternoon in winter. Friendly service and accommodating with my dogs. Happy to recommend this place for any hikers passing along the Mosel trail
