Schöner Ort und schönes Ambiente, aber nichts für Vegetarier und schon gar nicht für Veganer. Aber sie waren so flexibel nur Beilagen zu servieren. Das ist lobenswert. Schön ist die Kaffe- und Teebar im 1.OG Das Frühstück ist bestenfalls ok - die Wurst wellte sich ohne Abdeckung. Es gibt eine sehr hübsche Katze 🐱

★★★★★ Die Klosterschenke ist für mich immer wieder ein besonderer Ort. Schon das historische Klostergebäude schafft eine einzigartige Atmosphäre. Besonders schön finde ich die Terrasse mit dem Blick auf die Mosel – perfekt, um ein paar entspannte Stunden zu verbringen. Das Essen war wieder hervorragend. Die Sülze war etwas Besonderes und wirklich sehr lecker. Der Spargel war genau richtig gegart – mit schönem Biss, weder zu weich noch zu roh. Und der Lachs war einfach perfekt. Innen noch leicht glasig und wunderbar saftig. Leider wird Lachs in vielen Restaurants zu trocken serviert, hier war er genau auf den Punkt gegart. Auch der Service hat mir sehr gefallen. Alle waren aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell, ohne dabei aufgesetzt zu wirken. Ein Ort, an den ich immer wieder gerne zurückkomme. Klare Empfehlung!

Besonders angenehm war, dass die Küche auch auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen ist, was heute nicht selbstverständlich ist. Der Service war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und unaufgeregt herzlich – genau so, wie man sich einen entspannten Abend wünscht. Einziges kleines „Manko“: Der Abend ging viel zu schnell vorbei 😊 Zum Hotel selbst können wir nichts sagen, aber das Restaurant können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir waren zum Alpenbarbecue - ein gelungener Event. Hervorzuheben war der Service und die attraktive Speisenzusammenstellung am Buffet. Kleines Manko: Der Flammlachs wurde nur in kleinen Portionen ausgegeben, aber beim Buffet geht man dann zweimal.

Ich habe beim Abendessen im Restaurant leider überhören müssen, dass der glatzköpfige Herr mit Brille seine deutlich jüngere Mitarbeiterin mit anzüglichen und stark unprofessionellen Aussagen belästigt hat. Dass ein solches Verhalten geduldet wird, finde ich erschreckend und hat mir die Freude auf einen zukünftigen Besuch verdorben. Ansonsten war das Essen lecker.

Bewertung des Restaurants: Mittagessen zum 4. Advent mit den Eltern. Erstklassiger, freundlicher und ungezwungener Service, Top Produkte aus regionaler Herkunft, perfekte Zubereitung der Speisen. Ein sehr gelungener Ausflug und eine exzellente Bewirtung in historischem und dennoch sehr gemütlichem Gemäuer. Frischer Fisch, authentisches Wildgericht, klassische, aber mit Finesse zubereitete Beilagen, hervorragende Weinauswahl mit tollen Aperitifs und Weinen aus der Region. Rundum eine echte Empfehlung für Genuss-, Ambiente- und Top-Bewirtungs-Liebhaber!

Meine Frau und ich haben zusammen mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar zum ersten mal zwei ÜBERNACHTUNGEN im BOUTIQUEHOTEL KLOSTER PFALZEL gebucht. Anreise war sonntags, Abreise dienstags. Natürlich haben wir die VORWEIHNACHTSZEIT auch zum Besuch des schönen WEIHNACHTSMARKTES in TRIER genutzt. Das HOTEL in TRIER-PFALZEL bot natürlich für uns auch den optimalen Ausgangspunkt für einen TAGESAUSFLUG nach METZ, mit dem BESUCH vom MUSEUM POMPIDOU und der grandiosen KATHEDRALE. Das BOUTIQUEHOTEL KLOSTER PFALZEL hat wirklich alle unsere ERWARTUNGEN übertroffen; angefangen über die GASTFREUNDLICHKEIT, dem AMBIENTE, der AUSSTATTUNG der einzelnen ZIMMER und natürlich dem vorzüglichen ESSEN! Man spürt regelrecht, wie es der BESITZER:IN gelungen ist, das ehrwürdige alte KLOSTERGEMÄUER wieder 'zum Leben zu erwecken'! GENIAL und mit großem architektonischen Geschick! WIRKLICH UNBEDINGT AUCH IM HOTEL SPEISEN!!! FAZIT: Diese BEWERTUNG schreibe ich wirklich mit voller ÜBERZEUGUNG! Im SOMMER nächsten JAHRES 2026 möchten wir gerne wieder dieses HOTEL buchen! Wonderful hotel. My wife and I stayed there for a long weekend and were so glad we found this hotel. The service was wonderful and always attentive. Small requests were handled without any fuss. The food was excellent every evening. Our room had a lovely view of the Moselle River and the garden. We will definitely be back!

Food very tasty and the staff very nice

Noisy building. Clean and tidy, nicely decorated, and a beautiful building. I found the room a bit basic, so the value for money might be a bit high in my opinion. But if you're interested in the history of the monastery building, it's definitely worth it. Unfortunately, we didn't have a nice view of the river.

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful hotel in a former monastery. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is right along the peaceful Moselle River and we took walks around the neighborhood, which included many historic buildings. Transportation into Trier was easy by bus a couple of blocks away. Trains to Burg Eltz, Cochem, Luxembourg and many other places was pretty easy. Breakfast and dinner (not included) were amazing. We highly recommend the Kloster Pfalzel for couples as a romantic getaway.

I arrived with high expectations, but was unfortunately disappointed. The food wasn't particularly flavorful. The price-performance ratio just wasn't right.

The position, the old building in itself and the river view are really very nice and impressive. There are stylish cozy rooms that have recently been renovated. The overnight was a great experience. But the restaurant area, and generally the ground floor, needs maintenance. Breakfast is quite expensive (40 euros for 2 people) considering the variety and quantity of food. I hope that everything will improve soon.

A beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant in a historic monastery with its own chapel, idyllically situated directly on the beautiful Moselle River. The hotel also boasts a truly picturesque terrace. I can only speak about the restaurant. We spent a wonderful evening here with friends. The ambiance, the food, the wines, and of course the service were simply fantastic. Highly recommended

No air conditioning. The room was too small for two adults and one child. Breakfast was far too expensive for what was offered. Self check-in was very impersonal and unclear.

We had our wedding at the Boutique Hotel Kloster Pfalzel, and it was simply perfect! From the initial consultation to the big day, we received warm and professional service throughout. Her loving manner and attention to detail made our day unforgettable. We would also like to highlight the staff, and especially Valentino, who provided incredible service. They were always there, always helpful, yet pleasantly unobtrusive – never intrusive, but always present when you needed them. It was simply fantastic. You're lucky to have such attentive staff on your team. The food (live grill buffet) was delicious – our guests were all thrilled; even our most critical guest couldn't get enough of the freshly smoked fish. A little tip for everyone: the homemade soft serve ice cream isn't just for kids (...) A thoroughly successful celebration in a wonderful location thanks to a fantastic and friendly team. The hotel directly on the Moselle and the town center of Pfalzel have retained their historical charm. A really friendly and service-oriented team and very good cuisine make your stay perfect. Tastefully furnished rooms (not a business hotel atmosphere). A small note: The rooms are on the 1st floor and can only be reached via stairs. We had perfect weather and bikes with us and were able to reach Trier and its historic buildings in the old town in a very short time. We would love to come back.

We were there for tea time and it was great. The food was super tasty and the service was excellent. Even though it doesn't open until 3 p.m. and we were a few minutes early, we were let in and served very nicely. You felt like you had been transported to Great Britain. Gladly again.

We were there for brunch on CHRISTMAS 2ND. Apart from the unpleasant noise in the chapel area, we have rarely experienced a more carelessly set up buffet on a holiday... The presentation and unfortunately also the taste reminded me of mediocre canteen food. The dessert in particular (some of the fruit for the chocolate fountain looked as if kindergarten children had made it) was very disappointing in terms of selection, presentation and taste. Unfortunately, absolutely overpriced in view of what was offered. Only the service was, in our opinion, okay. Definitely not again.

Very nice hotel with a personal touch. Every day a free bottle of water in our room. Everuthing was perfect, like breakfast, the beds, bathroom, internet, size of the room, very quiet during nights.

We love coming to the Klosterschenke to enjoy the excellent food and delicacies, the great service and the delicious drinks that Ms. Lentes and her great team offer. For us it is always a special and valuable time and a wonderful experience... No matter whether we come to enjoy coffee and cake, a great dinner or a delicious wine with small appetizers (thanks to Mr. Philipps for his always excellent expertise), we all feel warmly welcome here at the Klosterschenke and hospitality is lived here I don't want to forget the beautiful and extraordinary ambience... Super modern rooms, well equipped and free water in the room. Breakfast was great, I even got a portion of bacon and eggs shortly before the end, otherwise everything your heart desires was of course available.

Ich hatte einen ruhigen Tisch erwartet, da wir 2 schwerhörige Hochbetagte dabei hatten. Leider war hinter uns ein großer Tisch mit sehr lauten Leuten, die Gruppe wurde immer größer und es wurde immer lauter, sodass man sich fast gar nicht mehr unterhalten konnte. Das war schade.

We spent 4 nights here and were completely satisfied. Our dog also felt very comfortable. The breakfast and food are excellent, the rooms are very well furnished and maintained. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Since we are always in Trier, we have finally found a regular hotel.

The historical ambience of the KLOSTERSCHENKE is simply enchanting. I really like the beautiful, clear design in the old historical rooms and give the restaurant a unique atmosphere. The monastery garden is a dream with a wonderful view of the Moselle 🛶🚢. You can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The team, “the monastery spirits” are extremely attentive and very friendly. What I particularly like is that Ms. Lentes 🤵🏻‍♀️ and her husband Mr. Zenner 👨‍🍳 attach great importance to sustainable enjoyment and use certified organic products 🥗🍓🥖 from the region wherever possible. I also love the large selection of excellent wines from their wine list 🍷🍾, as well as their homemade cakes 🍰. The monastery steaks made from Bioland-certified pastured beef are super delicious. I think the combination of delicious food, great events, historical charm and warm hospitality make the KLOSTERSCHENKE an absolute highlight in the region. I'm happy to give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
