A small Vietnamese restaurant on the outskirts of Baldham.
The food is delicious, and the lunch menu is highly recommended. A specialty of the restaurant is its diverse selection of sushi. Unfortunately, this isn't available at lunchtime.
The prices are reasonable. The only downside is that the beer, at €5.50, is comparatively expensive compared to other restaurants nearby.
The dishes are freshly prepared and attractively presented. Special requests (e.g., less spicy) are happily accommodated.
The staff is friendly (although there have been instances where someone was a bit curt on a less-than-ideal day), but their dress code is rather inappropriate for a restaurant of this caliber.
All in all, it's highly recommended. The ambiance is appealing, and even the restrooms are nicely furnished.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An outstanding hotel with exceptional service!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the St. Raphael Hotel in Kempten. From the moment I checked in, I received a warm and professional welcome – you can immediately sense that service and hospitality are truly valued here. The entire team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always helpful, without ever seeming forced.
I would particularly like to highlight the excellent breakfast: fresh, regional, varied, and beautifully presented. Whether it's fresh fruit, homemade spreads, or superb coffee – it's a truly great way to start the day.
Another plus: the convenient charging station for electric cars right at the hotel. For travelers with electric vehicles, this is a real advantage – uncomplicated, reliable, and perfectly integrated into the hotel's modern overall concept.
Overall, the St. Raphael impresses with its warmth, quality, and commitment to sustainability. I would love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel – both for business trips and private stays.
I stumbled upon this place unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised. It's a very cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere and decorated with great attention to detail. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and I had the best-seasoned tofu ever (Bun Dao)! Thank you!
The service was truly excellent – attentive, friendly, and quick. The fact that the kitchen is open until 10 p.m. is a definite plus for La Vela.
Unfortunately, the food itself was quite disappointing. The grilled vegetables were far too salty, the grilled squid was rubbery, and the wine was also completely underwhelming. A real shame, because the ambiance and service had the potential to make the evening much more promising.
Simply the best. We come from Mönchengladbach. Recommended by relatives living there. We drove over 4000km through Europe and nowhere else have we eaten such delicious pizza in such a wonderful atmosphere!
Large, generously topped, simply delicious! You can watch the baker at work or have a chat with Evi. We are already looking forward to our next visit this year!!!
A charming, rustic, and very cozy restaurant. Good location with plenty of parking. I was here many years ago. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. We'll definitely be back. 😊
Delicious food, great selection. The atmosphere was a bit chilly, and unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try the beer garden.
The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The happy hour for cocktails was fantastic. We were there with our dog, and he was very well looked after.
Very welcoming and the food tastes like Greek home cooking. Simply fantastic! I highly recommend it.
We wish the owner and his team all the best for the future! Keep up the great work! You're doing a fantastic job!
We'll definitely be back. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Our visit to Le Refuge on Christmas Day was unfortunately a huge disappointment! The food was presented without any care and lacked any finesse. The grumpy owner took our order wordlessly, with an unfriendly look, and then even made a mistake, so that one dish was missing from our main course, which we only noticed when it was served. It arrived considerably late and, accordingly, hastily prepared. Meanwhile, the owner spent the entire evening at length with a few obvious regulars. The earnest friendliness of our waiter couldn't disguise the feeling that we weren't really welcome in this establishment. When an owner doesn't even bid his guests farewell with a friendly "Merci," let alone a "Joyeux Noël," in his sparsely populated restaurant (on Christmas Day!), but only manages a short and reluctant "Au Revoir" before immediately turning his attention back to his regulars, then he truly deserves a correspondingly low rating. We certainly won't be returning to such a poorly run establishment with its exorbitant prices (for what, exactly?). There are far too many better and, above all, friendlier alternatives in our neighborhood!
The navigation system showed us the Gasthaus Sempt, and because of its proximity to the motorway, we chose it as our dinner stop. We didn't hear anything from the motorway when we arrived, so the beer garden would have been comfortable for a seat. A very good atmosphere, and when ordering our meal, they were willing to change the side dish at no extra charge. Really good value for money, and the quality is very high. We will definitely stop there again next time we're in the area. We were there as a family with a child just for dinner.
