The bock beer schnitzel was unfortunately a huge disappointment. The sauce was very watery and lacked flavor, and the schnitzel itself was practically unseasoned; the horseradish couldn't salvage it. It was crispy, but that was about it.

We attended a wedding here years ago. Based on that positive experience, we wanted to have a nice meal for the holidays. What a disappointment! The Christmas goose was completely dry and inedible. The carp was mushy and tasteless. Everything was served without any care, and the price was over €100, including a salad and soup. The restaurant seems to have become a tourist trap. The only positive was the waiter, who was very attentive and friendly.

I live in the Rhineland and really appreciate Bavarian cuisine. Due to both personal and business trips, I've had the pleasure of eating hearty meals in many places and have rarely been disappointed. You guys really know how to cook! 😁 But I've never been served such a fantastic roast pork as yours. Absolutely incredible!

A good place to go for a traditional meal. Plenty of hearty options on the menu. Beers available are brewed by the brewery which is part of the restaurant. Service was a little slow and inattentive - seemed to be short staffed.

I've been there twice recently, and both times I was very satisfied. I also visited the beer garden in late summer; it was lovely and highly recommended. The pork knuckle was fantastic! Now that it's inside, it's a classic brewery pub, so only 4 stars for the ambiance, but the beer garden deserves 5. The food was delicious again. The beer is also good; even the non-alcoholic one is drinkable.

We had a family lunch here on a bitterly cold day. The waiter was excellent - super friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly. The sourdough bread was absolutely delicious! The schnitzels were popular at our table. I had the sausage salad which was good and very copious. A great place for lunch or dinner !

The rooms are excellent, the location is a bit out of the way, but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it's not a problem. Be prepared to wait at the bar, even when it's quiet.

I find €3.50 for a 0.2l Coke Zero quite expensive compared to €5.50 for a 0.5l beer. The pricing seems somewhat unbalanced – drinking at the fair is actually cheaper. Aside from that, the food and service were really very good, and overall the visit was pleasant.

Very crowded place because of the central position next to the cathedral. Although we had a reservation and we gave the correct name the women at the entry could not find our table and we had to leave. We booked online and it worked perfectly. For dinner, we had corn-fed chicken with pointed cabbage and cornmeal cake. Unfortunately, the cabbage was almost cold and the cake only lukewarm; the chicken was the only thing that was warm. What a shame! But the sauce was delicious. We received very friendly and competent service. We found the restaurant's atmosphere to be very pleasant, cheerful, and relaxed, with a high level of quality. We were very satisfied with the food (for example, pork fillet with creamy chestnut and bacon sauce). Only the dessert (tonka bean ice cream on a mirror of elderflower) could have been a bit more nut crumble for my taste. The Weltenburger Hell is truly hard to beat; simply wonderful. The "Bockbierschnitzel" is truly exceptional and delicious. Paired with the roasted onions and potato chips, it's a really good but also hearty combination for €22. The restaurant itself is also cozy and inviting. The service was also very friendly and took good care of us. Overall, it was really good.

Regensburg is apparently a very expensive place. Even though prices in Regensburg are generally higher than in other Franconian cities, the Weltenburger restaurant still exceeds the price range.

Super delicious food in a cozy cellar vault with very friendly service. The beer is, of course, top-notch, just like Weltenburg Abbey.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time before we were allowed to order, and then again before we got our food. The food itself was also mediocre. More like a "tourist attraction" than good, home-style food.

The staff here calculate the tip themselves, counting it out. I guess they assume I'm a foreigner and don't understand it. But that doesn't mean the service is good.

Weltburger is a true institution. The food may be a bit pricey, but when you consider the size of the portions, it's all worth it. The food is super delicious, the service is prompt, and the ambiance is just right.

The food tasted very good (the vegan cabbage roll was fantastic!!), but with one dish: "ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST Cabbage strips | G'mias & seasonal salad | creamy potato-chilli dressing Fresh sourdough loaf" It was simply a mixed leaf salad with coleslaw and potato salad (there was no G'mias at all!). The chicken breast (also delicious!) weighed less than 100 grams, probably 80 grams. They charged €22.80 for it, which is definitely too much! (I've been eating chicken salad more often lately, but I've never had so little meat, and usually for less money.) The server tried very hard, but communication was sometimes difficult (at the next table, a problem could only be resolved with the help of another server). I'll go back just for the vegan cabbage roll. But I won't be a regular.

This was our second visit to Regensburg and we were very satisfied again. The food is very good, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. We were always served in a friendly manner. Based on our experience, we would happily recommend it.

Made reservations from 1130 AM (which is half an hour after everyone else in town)on a Saturday. They have a beer garten, but when we went they wouldn't let us sit there. We told them we made reservations but they said come back after noon sometime. If I made a reservation and you have available seating, please see e me where I want to sit. They loss my business at this restaurant forever. I am a lot cal and have lived here for 6 years. Too bad...they have great food.

The food was very good, but the vaulted adjoining room was very, very loud. You couldn't really understand your neighbors. It was better outside in the large hall.

There were two of us and we had made a reservation in advance, which was a good thing given the restaurant's capacity. However, several guests arrived after us without reservations and still managed to get tables. The small salad for €5 was very large and delicious, and absolutely sufficient as a starter. The main course consisted of a knuckle of pork and schnitzel, along with a house bock beer and a Spritz. We received very good service and were repeatedly asked about our well-being and any other requests. The atmosphere was good, and everything was very harmonious. We would recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy a lovely Bavarian evening with delicious beer.
