Super friendly ladies despite the fact that it was very busy... got a seat quickly... got the food quickly and other side dishes were no problem... it tasted very good and you were full... plus it was inexpensive. I'll definitely be back there!

A Bavarian original in Regensburg.

We were there for the Mai-Bock tapping and had a lot of fun. They're having a lot of fun with it. Food is great too, even though it was very busy. We were there on normal days too. Also highly recommended, especially the food.

Typical Bavarian inn with rustic/original furnishings. Very good food at normal prices. Great, cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff. It's rare to find an inn like this anymore. Highly recommended. Free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. (September 2024)

As a vegan, I was really pleasantly surprised by the menu. Of an estimated 20 different dishes, there were 3 vegan and 7 vegetarian dishes. That really blew me away. In addition, the vegan and vegetarian dishes are no less sophisticated than those with meat. I had vegan bread dumplings with fruity tomato sauce and quinoa salad. But there would also have been other nice things. The atmosphere is rustic, cozy. The service was super friendly. I was there with my dog ​​and two friends. The dog received many compliments from guests and staff alike. Rarely have I experienced so much openness and friendliness, where I would not have expected it in a rustic German restaurant. We'll be back!

The Auer Bräu has a beautiful beer garden plus a rustic interior. The service is top and the food tastes good. In my opinion, beer and food are already at the upper price level. What bothers me is that I can't pay with card here, only cash.

Unfortunately you cannot pay with your card here in 2024…….. Nothing, but we will come back, but we should urgently work on the payment issue. This is no longer up to date.

Very friendly and attentive service, good traditional food. Roast pork, brawn and schnitzel with potato salad, just as you wish. Reasonably priced, pleasant atmosphere in the beer garden! What more do you want? Big recommendation!

We were there for the first time yesterday and had a really nice evening! The food was mediocre but the service and ambiance were great! It's nice to sit in the garden and our little daughter was also looked after sweetly.

Good hearty Bavarian cuisine. A nice beer garden on the street, separated by a high wooden fence. Lots of space inside the inn. The service is always nice and quick to take care of the guest's well-being. Reservations can and should be made in the beer garden when the weather is good.

A good place to experience the Bavarian atmosphere in Regensburg. The service is prompt and friendly, the beer is good, the food isn't great, and the noise takes some getting used to, it's part of what makes it special. The prices aren't cheap either, but where can you get that?

This wasn't our first time here. The deafening noise in the dining room, which was full at around 7:30 p.m., was frightening. We were hungry and stayed. The food was again very good, the service was quick and friendly. But: not offering card payment at the reasonable prices (16.70 for a "Viennese style" schnitzel with potato salad) is extremely weak and unfortunately leaves the bitter aftertaste of having encouraged tax evasion and/or illegal work... Thank you for your answer, Mr. Mierzwa. Their staff is not responsible for the volume, prices and payment options, and there was NOTHING to complain about with the ladies, so we were just surprised to learn that we had to pay in cash. For me the price was also ok, everything is and is becoming more expensive! But please take care of setting up card payment or Paypal. Thank you for the good food!

I am a difficult guest as i am vegetarian, but this was one of the best restaurants i have ever been to. Lot of vegetarian and vegan choices and off course the traditional german meat dishes! The staff is super kind and helpful! Do not hesitate!

Quaint restaurant with local guests - immediately feels cozy and you feel very welcome. This is also due to the really great service! Friendly and accommodating - prices were commensurate with the quality and reasonable. The menu not only has the 10 Bavarian classics, but more to offer. We were very excited!

Pork and sauerbraten were good. Fried potatoes are not particularly tasty. The green beans weren't cooked through. Very disappointing for a Bavarian specialty restaurant! The expectations of the food are/were much higher! Therefore 2 stars deducted. Anyway, enjoy your meal!

Auerbräu = a Bavarian inn as we know it. The service is great, friendly and always smiling. The guest is looked after and asked frequently whether everything is OK - but not in an intrusive manner. The food was good and so far everything has always been good and tasted good.

Quaint Bavarian inn with good food and very nice service. The menu doesn't have a huge selection so you aren't overwhelmed and the dishes can be freshly prepared. There are also vegetarian and vegan dishes if you like them. We had roast pork, cordon bleu with fried potatoes and cheese spaetzle. Everyone enjoyed the roast pork. The sauce was very good and not too thick. The Cordon Bleu was also very good and normal size. The fried potatoes were nicely fried - but for me they could have had a bit more spice and flavor. Too bland for me. Cheese spaetzle also tasted good with 3 types of cheese. Good flavorful cheese. The price-performance ratio is OK. Pork is from straw pigs.

Eine typische bayerische Gastwirtschaft mit entsprechenden Gerichten. Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen - es gibt eine kleine Karte zu Mittag mit guter Auswahl. Unser Essen ( Hackbraten sowie Schnitzel ) waren super lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Die Suppen vorher ebenso. Sehr netter Service ! Preislich für Mittags etwas hoch, aber eine klare Empfehlung

Erstaunlich gutes Essen. Die Gaststätte wirkt von außen nicht sehr schön aber innen ist es richtig gut renoviert. Hatten dort eine Weihnachtsfeier. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Essen, Service und Ambiente ist einfach echt super hier. Auch preislich echt ok. Einzig die Parkplätze sind ein wenig nervig.

Gutes Essen, schneller und netter Service

Ich war abends mit Freunden wiederholt dort. Ambiente Das urige Ambiente ist eine Institution in Regensburg. Ein typisch bayerisches Wirtshaus. Es gibt ein schöner und Bierarten, der naturgemäß nicht im Winter geöffnet ist. Service Der Service ist sehr professionell und herzlich. Man wird nicht hektisch, auch wenn das Lokal voll ist. Die Getränke kamen gleich. Essen und Getränke Es werden Kneitinger Biere vom Fass angeboten. Die Bierpreise sind in Ordnung. Es ist halt kein Weinlokal und 4,80 € für einen 0,2 Liter Landwein ist an der Oberkante. Die Speisekarte ist vorwiegend bayerisch gehalten. Die Gerichte sind ohne viel Schnick-Schnack handwerklich gut gekocht. Die Preise sind angemessen. Ich hatte Pfannkuchensuppe für 4,20 €. Gute Portionsgröße. Auch die Kürbiscremesuppe mit Kernöl für 5,20 € ist sehr schmackhaft. Der Hirschkalbsbraten mit Spätzle und Rosenkohl ist lecker. Dasselbe gilt für den Sauerbraten mit Semmelknödel und Blaukraut mit Preiselbeeren. Falls man eher vegetarisch essen möchte, ist Bergkäseknödel mit Rote Bete-Blaukrautsalat und gerösteten Salbeiblättern und Kürbiskernen sowie die Rahmschwammerl aus frischen Champignons mit Semmelknödel und Salat zu empfehlen. Vegane Gerichte werden auch angeboten. Diese habe ich jedoch nicht probiert. Es gibt einige bayerischen Brotzeiten für den kleinen Hunger. Die Portionen sind ausreichend. Fazit Das Lokal eignet sich sehr gut für einen Abend mit Freunden. Man soll sich halt nicht Haute Cuisine erwarten, sondern eher gute Gasthausküche. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr angemessen.

food here is very authentic and quite good but not spectacularly so. except for the apple tarts with vanilla ice and cream 🤤 nice atmosphere and definitely not touristy, as it is quite a walk to get there from the old town. come here for the real bavaria, as in the good old times. many bavarians do, too! cheers 🍻
