Exactly how you imagine a Bavarian tavern. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was Bavarian and the service was fantastic. We are in Regensburg once or twice a year and will definitely eat here again on our next visit.

A rustic inn, in the deep Bavarian tradition, is now rare to find. Especially if it is still furnished and managed in a typically traditional way. The Auer Bräu is therefore unique in Regensburg and is unique. Lots of locals that you meet here almost regularly. There is also a typical Bavarian memory card, but vegetarian and vegan dishes are also offered. Great service, very tasty and everything is freshly prepared with passion. You definitely have to visit. TOP!

We had roast pork in dark beer with cabbage. The meat literally fell apart on the plate. ...dumplings good, cabbage cooked for hours, which is ok, but the meat......too long, too soft, doesn't work at all. Super great service. Also negative is the brutal noise on a Thursday! In the evening at 7 p.m.

Let's start with the good, the service was very attentive and very friendly. I haven't been to Auerbräu in five years because I was annoyed by the food back then... and I won't be going there again for at least the next five. The sour press bag was a carpaccio, the slicer has to be of good quality to get such thin slices. There were at least 3 slices, irony... To be honest, the inn has a tradition and was always an inn, but now it's a robber baron's castle. It's a shame...

Although I am not a vegetarian/vegan myself, you can also find very delicious and varied meatless dishes here - so there is something for everyone. Absolutely recommended!

Portion size just okay, preferably 20-30% more. The price is quite high for that. Service far too slow and haphazard. No card payment possible.

Beer is really good but I don't understand why they only accept cash. Because of the tax office? In the middle of Europe and in the 21st century, smartphone payment should be standard.

They took us in without reservation on a saturday evening. Restaurant was packed but we got a place. Dogs allowed and welcomed. Service was extremes quick, attentive and warm hearted. Food and atmosphere was the real Bavarian experience. We loved it ❤️

We were there for the Mai-Bock tapping and had a lot of fun. They're having a lot of fun with it. Food is great too, even though it was very busy. We were there on normal days too. Also highly recommended, especially the food.

As a vegan, I was really pleasantly surprised by the menu. Of an estimated 20 different dishes, there were 3 vegan and 7 vegetarian dishes. That really blew me away. In addition, the vegan and vegetarian dishes are no less sophisticated than those with meat. I had vegan bread dumplings with fruity tomato sauce and quinoa salad. But there would also have been other nice things. The atmosphere is rustic, cozy. The service was super friendly. I was there with my dog ​​and two friends. The dog received many compliments from guests and staff alike. Rarely have I experienced so much openness and friendliness, where I would not have expected it in a rustic German restaurant. We'll be back!

We were there for the first time yesterday and had a really nice evening! The food was mediocre but the service and ambiance were great! It's nice to sit in the garden and our little daughter was also looked after sweetly.

Good hearty Bavarian cuisine. A nice beer garden on the street, separated by a high wooden fence. Lots of space inside the inn. The service is always nice and quick to take care of the guest's well-being. Reservations can and should be made in the beer garden when the weather is good.

A good place to experience the Bavarian atmosphere in Regensburg. The service is prompt and friendly, the beer is good, the food isn't great, and the noise takes some getting used to, it's part of what makes it special. The prices aren't cheap either, but where can you get that?

This wasn't our first time here. The deafening noise in the dining room, which was full at around 7:30 p.m., was frightening. We were hungry and stayed. The food was again very good, the service was quick and friendly. But: not offering card payment at the reasonable prices (16.70 for a "Viennese style" schnitzel with potato salad) is extremely weak and unfortunately leaves the bitter aftertaste of having encouraged tax evasion and/or illegal work... Thank you for your answer, Mr. Mierzwa. Their staff is not responsible for the volume, prices and payment options, and there was NOTHING to complain about with the ladies, so we were just surprised to learn that we had to pay in cash. For me the price was also ok, everything is and is becoming more expensive! But please take care of setting up card payment or Paypal. Thank you for the good food!

I am a difficult guest as i am vegetarian, but this was one of the best restaurants i have ever been to. Lot of vegetarian and vegan choices and off course the traditional german meat dishes! The staff is super kind and helpful! Do not hesitate!
